Stopped by for some dirt and pine straw. Great place. Scott help me out. Thank you. I would recommend.
Great customer service and provides a military discount.
Great place, great products, super staff!
Always have what I need at a good price....and helpful staff.
Great customer service! I was given excellent advice on what mulch to get and was undecided about getting an extra half a yard of mulch, then took their advice, and it was a perfect amount. All I had to go from was a rough square footage of my landscaping area.
This manager is extremely helpful. I ask numerous questions and he is happy to advise me with my projects! The Dixie mix is exactly what I needed for my plantings. Thanks for great customer service.
My husband and I have gotten many truckloads of sand, dirt and some gravel from The Yard Store. Weve been very pleased with the product. The manager is always very helpful, and quite friendly. On my way to buy more now.
These folks are always helpful. Ive purchased stone, sand by the yard, and mulch by the yard here. The will load pickups or trailers with a skidsteer with a delicate touch and will give you much needed project advice if you ask. They have a wide variety of material and stone. Hours can be different than the website, so call before you drive.
Have been using these guys for years. I have rental property and these guys have been my source for materials. Have always had an excellent experience with them.
Wonderful staff here. I went to Lowes and to Home Depot, which for me is an absolute LAST RESORT, looking for some bags of top soil. In both locations I was shown bags of top dressing, although again I was asking for TOP SOIL.Both locations stated these were top soil. In checking these multiple bags for physical make up of these bags of top soil, the description of the contents stated very clearly, recycled forest products. No damn dirt or even compost was in these bags. I was stunned that neither Lowes nor the LAST RESORT Home Depot, did not sell dirt ! They just passed off the byproducts of the timber industry as DIRT.I hate to consider the profit margins of scrapped forestry byproducts, which weighs nothing, i.e., easy to bag, easy to transport, easy for store employees to stock, and a rip off by these big box stores of their customers.Long story short ----- I called the staff at Yard Supply and asked if they had REAL TOP SOIL ! This brought a serious chuckle and I was told, thats what were here for. I asked if they had it in bags and I was told they did not.I asked if I could load some top soil and could we work out a price to the Yard Supply obvious advantage in pricing. They said come on down.I went on down, in the rain, loaded some sand, with their shovel, cause like a dummy I forgot to bring my dang shovel, and we arrived at a price that I thought was certainly fair for a product I could find no where else that was available in much less than a dang truck load - Thank you Lowes and Last Resort Home Depot.AND THANK YOU AGAIN TO THE STAFF AT YARD SUPPLY !!!!
Awesome business. Highly recommend!
Best priced much, top soil and stone in Columbia. Mgr. Randy is very helpful!
Great place for yard supplies. Mulch, crushed rock, sod, etc. Good prices on the material, and always in stock.
Very helpful and great customer service.
Order 6 yards of premium brown mulch. last year it was $30 this year $32. It appeared to me that the visible quality of this mulch was not up to what I had received from Dixie Landscape (bought by the Yard Store in 2011) in that most of the 2013 supply are very small pieces - almost dust- last year chunks. I had a man put out 2/3 of the load when we realized after a rain that much of what we put out had lost the brown color after that one rain. I called the owner on a Friday and he returned the call on Monday and was willing to deliver 2 yards more (I assume the better product) but was not willing to send someone to put out the new and replace the old. He argued with me about not correcting the work I had paid for and actually hung up on me. So I had to pay again to get the work done. I hope this batch does not loose color over night.
Purchased a dozen bales of pine straw from them today. Its so full of trash its nearly unusable. Expected better from you. May as well have gone to Lowes.
Very helpful and good supplies
Good place for bulk Mulch and Landscaping stones.
