Wow I Hate to see this neighborhood hardware close. Fast service, and very friendly. This hardware store will be missed

Great team and an awesome, locally-owned business. Very welcoming and accommodating. They know me and my kids on sight, remember what Im working on, and make helpful recommendations. If they dont have what I need, then they help me find it or order it. I look here before I go to a big box store 100% of the time.

Fun shopping in a neighborhood hardware store that sells nearly everything. Its miles from a home improvement warehouse.They had no rubber bumpers that tack on the bottom of furniture like a stool or bookcase. Only hard plastic which cracks. No sale.

This place is permanently closed. However, it WAS a great place to get tools and hardware while keeping the business in the community, instead of to a massive conglomerate.

I worked here 5 years and was under paid. The boss is rude. I caught one of the workers in my purse and he did nothing about it because she was white. Im so glad this place is closing.

Employees are always helpful and kind. Have lots of inventory and usually has what I came for. Store is clean and organized.

Really helpful sales staff. Could not find what I needed. Went home, two hours later they called with the answer.Wont get that service any where I have been. The big chains seem to be happy when they say no we dont have that.

If I could rate this with no stars, I absolutely would. Kim at the front desk was helping another customer when I walked in, and she very loudly and rudely yelled to my husband and I that she would be right with us, to which I responded it was no issue. After she finished with her customer and moved him along, she looked at my husband and I and said “Yes?!” In a loud and rude tone, and I was appalled at the horrible customer service. I asked who I needed to speak to about renting a Budget truck, and she said there were none available even though there were three trucks outside in the lot. I understand these trucks could already be reserved, however, Kim’s “professionalism” did not exist. She was rude, snappy, and clearly unhappy with her job and the fact that I existed....Never will you catch me in this store EVER again. Terrible customer service. Big thumbs down. -5 stars.

Honestly the only reason I go here sometimes is because it is closer than Home Depot but I dont think I will anymore. The employees are friendly and helpful, but the owner/manager is a jerk. The employees clearly dont like him, and he was even unpleasant to me as a customer.Most hardware stores offer a military discount, so I simply asked the manager/owner if this store did as well. Instead of simply saying no or sorry he said how bout this, Ill take 10% off and then you give it back to me apparently he was a vet too and didnt think he owed me anything, I dont think Im owed anything I simply asked if they offered a discount.Small stores like this should survive on customer service and word of mouth, but with everyone so helpful at home depot and always friendly I see no reason to support an owner who doesnt care.

Excellent small hardware store. The staff is always very courteous and helpful in finding what you are looking for. Sure the selection is not that of a big box store, but it is nice to be able to pull up, park at the door, and grab what you need. Prices seem fair enough to get the job done.

They had everything I needed.

They refuse to copy my key unless i buy the blank from them. The key is fir a Suzuki motorcycle so of course they dont have one to buy. Even tho i provide the blank these idiots refuse to make a simple copy. Unbelievable! Avoid!

I visited Wood True Value on several occasions; everytime the staff has been friendly and helpful. They have for the part reasonable prices on yard equipment.

Most annoying hardware store ever. Cant even walk in to grab something without each employee approaching you asking if you need help. I dont know if they are that terrified someone or will steal or what. Feels more intrusive than helpful. Let a person breathe and take a second to decide which product they want instead of swarming them multiple times. Id rather drive much further to Lowes.

Everytime I enter I am greeted and helped. I alway use them as much as possible. Location is very convenient and rather give the local business than the bigbox stores.

I have used them many times in the past and always had a great experience till today. I wonder if they have new owners or management. I reserved a truck a week ago. I got the paperwork and everything was fine. Then less than 24 hours before I am to pick up the truck a lady calls me to inform me they rented the truck to someone who wanted it for four days. She said She had found another truck but I would have to go get it. When I explained this was unacceptable because they were going to charge me for the extra miles I would have to pay for to go get it and return it, she got belligerent and informed me she had done all she can do and was hanging up on me. This person has no business dealing with the public and Woods should be ashamed to have her representing them.

The staff was rude. I was keep waiting while the employee figured out how to log into the computer to close my rental transaction. I expressed that I was in a hurry and he said he was not going to rush just because I was in a hurry.

Have shopped here for years. My son was there ~2 hours ago, picked up a drain removal wrench & a couple of other things. Wrench turned out to be the wrong size. Lost the receipt. They would not accept the return without a receipt. Wont do business with them again...

This place is just like hardware stores used to be before the big box retailers. Friendly, knowledgeable service. They usually have exactly what I am looking for, and know exactly where to find it. I always head here first.
