As usual I go in for lunch, me and my coworkers. We normally get the deal meal which is about $8 and change. The meal is listed on the board with wedges as a side, but no wedges are out majority of the time I go. I asked the employee would it be okay if I sub the side out, still picking from within the hot deli case and the employee said I could. There were two different employees that have done this, so I myself and coworkers thought it was okay. Today I went in and the two ladies working were extremely rude and and the short one I guess manger or lead, tried to get smart pointing to the board as if I couldn’t read. But I had to cut her off and ask if she would listen then she would understand. She would understand that I asked before and was told yes, so it became a norm for not only me but my coworkers. If it would’ve stated no substitute or I was told I couldn’t in the beginning I would have understand the policy. But she so quick to want to get people, (employees)that her attitude, is what has cause them to loose customers. Word of mouth is powerful especially when we work in the plaza. I used to love this store, but it’s always that one bad apple.

Always love going to the Fresh Market. The atmosphere is so friendly, comfortable, and cozy. We always get the whole bean coffee, so good. They also have the best roasted chicken salad. There are some changes since my last visit, everything previously self serve requires staff assistance, but they are super helpful. If you are on that side of Columbia, you must stop by and check them out.

This place is over rated. In own visiting and went in with friends. The individual that I came in contact with to ask a question was NOT friendly he was ANGRY so I moved on and got help from the individual that was doing water ( THANKS) The young lady at the cash register was very nice.

I absolutely love shopping in this place! I go way out of my way to shop here due not only to the quality and variety of foods offered but just as importantly the very kind, knowledgeable and helpful gentleman that works in the meat department (he was working today … 1:00 pm ish 7/31/2021… in hopes you can identify whom I am bragging here of). He always is so welcoming and gives me wonderful tips on best ways to prepare and cook the seafood and meats. I truly love the pecan encrusted chicken breast and he always remembers this about me when I come in. I am quite ashamed that I don’t remember his name … certainly NOT a reflection on him but rather a terrible trait of mine!! … because he is certainly worthy of praise as he exemplifies what a phenomenal employee is and what others should strive to be. Kudos to Forest Dr Fresh Market 💕🥰

Fresh Market is great! If you have one meal to make, grab their fresh-made chicken pot pie. It is possibly the best one Ive ever had. Their seafood is amazing as is their meat market. They also have rare ingredients like koji. The only qualm? Price. Things arent cheap! But its to be expected with their selection.

Always clean and neat. A place that makes you feel good.

The dried okra was better than advertised. The only downside was trying to find a place to park. (I went on a Saturday).

I was not very impressed. Their fresh deli foods did not look fresh at all. It looked out it had been sitting there since the day before. The same with the.chicken wings. Not sure I will come back.

The food is great but it seems like the customer service is lacking. Never enough registers open. Asking for help at one of the counters always results in someone asking you to wait a few minutes while they finish putting up whatever it is they are putting up. At Publix they stop what they are doing and help the customer.

Fresh Market is the ultimate carrot & stick food stop for me. Lots of unique and good products. Then I feel hit by the stick at the register. I do return often though.

Shopping at The Fresh Market is now better than ever. The friendly and helpful staff combined with the new layout of the store, and the great selection of gourmet food items, freshest produce, the excellent meat department, aThe delectible bakery, and the beautiful flowers makes shopping for everyday items or special occasions a pleasure. The new manager is putting the needs and expectations of the customers first.

First visit, wont be the last. Clean, beautiful store.

I normally love Fresh Market, but at this store I saw at least two employees being sloppy with their mask use and in plain view of the manager. Its supposed to cover your nose and mouth, people!

For the price and the location... the restrooms should look better than what they do. If you are not going to properly clean the restrooms especially during this time then keep them closed. Very disappointed.

Upscale grocery store. Theyre pricey, but they carry some nice stuff. Their produce and meats are always well stocked and fresh. They also have a pretty decent dessert selection. Definitely hit this place up if youre looking to splurge. You can also make this your regular grocer if you roll like that.

Very clean great meats when on sale

My husband and I LOVE Fresh Market. Although we live in the other side of town, we consider it a fun trip when we head to Fresh Market to pick something up for dinner. We were not disappointed! We bought two pecan crusted pork chops, two twice baked potatoes and one enormous artichoke. Everything was delicious!

Got a premade salad for lunch and it was awesome! But I couldnt find any Blue Cheese.

This place must have been designed by IKEA. I had difficulty locating things. It was difficult to pass through the aisles as employees were busily stocking shelves, some with masks pulled down. The butcher gave me one item and then wandered away before I could ask for other items. I went to Publix.

I went in here after going to Chipotle just to check it out. This location seems to be my favorite location of The Fresh Market. They do have a nice selection of some nice candy that can be kind of on the rare side. No complaints about this location.

I cannot believe that my cheddar rolls had no cheese I am very disappointed. these used to be my favorite roles and I paid a lot of money for them and now they dont taste the same theyre dry theyre just awful.But they have Fresh breads, specials, desserts, and Victor absolutely a delight...

Love this place I shop here for dinner every single day and if you get the right thing it is super affordable and healthy and fresh. This store has made cooking a meal easy, half the time I get the already prepped food or frozen food its really all good here and if you dont like it you can return it and try something new. This store is totally mom friendly and the staff is nice.

My first experience there was awesome and confusing at the same time. They had so many fresh items that I couldnt decide on what to purchase. The staff was very helpful, they also gave me advice about deals, specials and items were located. I wish I could have stayed longer but I was on my lunch break. I ended getting wings, polish sausages and a hot chicken... which was delicious. Cant wait to go back. Prices are a little more than your conventional grocery store but definitely worth it. Big ups to yall! T.S.

Always a great selection of everything from cheese to flowers! If I had ANY complaints its that they are always out of the fresh rosemary sourdough bread!

A little pricey, but sometimes they’ll carry that one thing you just can’t find at the regular grocery store. I’m a big fan of the dessert counter here. I’ve spent 15 min just looking at all of the options. Whatever I choose is usually very decadent and rich. Also, this is a great place to pick up yogurt and chocolate covered pretzels.

Fresh market has prices that are slightly higher than ordinary grocery stores but plenty of organic and healthy food choices. It is worth it if you are interested in taking care of yourself dietarily.

The place is clean and they follow the social distancing practices very well. I usually stop by whenever i need some pre-made goods from the butchery department and i always end up getting more things.

Great Meat, Poultry & Seafood from the Buchers selections. Also the Bakery has nice desserts. This place has been a clean specialty shop for decades. They could bring back some of the No Sugar Added & Sugar-Free items that they use to carry.

Fresh Foods & Friendly Atmosphere

I like coming here to get mashed potatoes and some of the other already prep food.

Love that they rarely dont have sea scallops and/or Carolina shrimp. And only place that regularly has napoleons.

The Fresh Market is a wonderful grocery store, its always clean, the personnel are always friendly and helpful. They have a lot of different food items that you dont find in most other grocery stores. They carry a lot of good organic healthy foods also.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their quality is top knotch. Its certainly in the high end category of grocery stores, but their frequent sales make it possible to make gourmet meals on a budget.

Great selection of items, but almost impossible to get anyone in the meat department to ever answer the phone. We tried for 2 hours before having to go through the bakery department to get to the meat department. Regardless, a great place to go for meat, cheese, bread, and fine produce.

Great variety of products. I love the bulk section. I wish the workers were more friendlier. No eye contact with customers, no greetings most of time and low energy . Most of them need a cup of coffee I guess. Smiling is needed here.

This one has huge wine selectionLots of premade ready to cook entrees. Nice ready to take fruit selections in reaching coolers. Coffee is good. Snacks and candy make ur own is cool.

Very large selection of items. Samples galore. I especially liked the turkey, mashed potatoes,stuffing and cranberry sauce plate sample.Some areas of the store are a tight squeeze for shopping carts however.
