Travelled from Larkhall to go to the silvermoon as I hadnt been for a couple of years. Ordered a breast of chicken curry, fried rice and prawn crackers...on returning home I discovered I had been given a beef curry and not chicken. Rather than waste more time and petrol returning to Motherwell I dished up and was severely disappointed...beef was tough, curry all but tastless and prawn crackers just tasted of old oil. The bin got more than I did...lesson learnt. Never again will I darken that shops door...I should have gone to the Yee Tung like I normally would.

Authentic taste, decent portion size and good value for money. I’d recommend the Singapore noodles which were tasty and had generous amount of meat.

Total joke of a place waited two hours still no food after callin back the second time it still hadent left was absolute ragin partner is type one missed his insulen first time tryin this place and is deffs the last would not ever try here again

Amazing currys so good

Honestly this was the last straw. This used to be the best Chinese in Lanarkshire BUT since this new owner/chef took over its absolutely shocking. I look forward every week to a take away now i will need to find a new Chinese. If I wanted boiled onions or boiled meat just through into a sauce I would get my kids to do it you can do this and expect people to pay for this it’s a disgrace.

Best Chinese by far food is absolutely amazing salt & chilli chicken is absolutely fabulous there chicken chowmain is just to die for definitely recommended 10/10 staff are so welcoming 💖💖

I have been going to the Silver moon for years. Its Absolutely class!Both the yellow and red curries are great. Also try the Kung Po chicken if you have a spicy pallet 👍🏻 You wont be disappointed

Great curries but phoned at 6pm and then again at 7.30 to be told it would be another 20 minutes. Called again at 8.15 to be told it was just leaving. 2 and half hours later so I had to cancel. I dont think I would have to wait as long if my takeaway was for £50. Shame as its the only takeaway I use. Will need to find a new one

Best chinese out!My 1st job was in there as counter staff and 26 yrs later me and my family are regular customers.Robert ( owner) and his family are lovely and place is clean n food fresh.Defo recommend 👌👌👍👍

Been going here for years but recently the food isnt the same dont know if its a new chef or what but curry sauce was orange not red and the beef was chewy and tasted like the cheap stuff they used

Phoned for a chicken chow mein with only onion and a portion of chips, phoned back 45 minutes later to be told that they hadnt even started cooking it yet because all the other deliveries were going in the opposite direction. When it finally arrived it had mushrooms and ham in it so I phoned back and was told that they would send out another one, i phoned back just over half an hour later to find out if it would be coming with fresh chips as the ones that had already been delivered were freezing and the girl at the other end of the phone had a very bad attitude! She slammed the phone down and I could hear her shouting to someone about that lassie on the phone and other things that I dont wish to repeat. Will definitely never be ordering from this place again and would NOT RECOMMEND!

The most utter crap takeaway in Motherwell. Ordered spare ribs dry with slice of lemon and got 4 bones with no meat on them. They also looked brown and not the usual colour of Chinese spare ribs. Complained about the amount of pathetic spare ribs and they sent another, plus they wanted their other crap back. The new ones which were sent were just as bad and again were just bone. Tasted one and then they got the bin. Avoid this place like the plague. Have to say here, and not blaming anyone, but I really did have a bad case of diarrhoea next day. maybe the chef was not happy with my complaint. Put me off Chinese food completely.
