Great food. Chicken was juicy and the hand-cut French Fries were delicious. The huge hand breaded beer battered mushrooms were some of the best Ive had at a restaurant. If you like fried mushrooms order some. Nice small bar with a few draft beer options. In the back there are several pinball machines and a few old school video games. There is a nice outdoor patio to enjoy when the weather is right.

Had lunch there today and food was excellent...great customer service! Hidden gem right here in our backyard...a must try! Great vegan options as well...

Checked this place out on a whim before the first USC game of the season and it did not disappoint! The pretzel bites were wonderfully crisp yet soft. Service was friendly and quick. Everything was very fresh. The blt and fries were delicious! The chicken tenders, well Ive been wanting more ever since we left. The portion sizes were amazing the chicken tenders are just that good! Grab a pitcher while youre there too, prices are great. We will definitely be back.

I stopped in to pick up an order of chicken and pancakes. I was expecting something modest, but since things in life usually never go exactly as planned, I was instead surprised with 3 large and fluffy pancakes with some delicious chicken bites. I would highly recommend!!

Came into the diner expecting a different restaurant, and was throughly surprised at how hospitable the staff and service was.Was even more delighted to see and eat a delicious breakfast plate that I was looking for after regular breakfast hours. Good but pretty pricey. $70 for 4 people and all we had were blts and small little sandwiches like that. Im sorry but a vegetarian burger and some blts shouldnt cost 70 bucks. And I had 3 people at the table had water to drink. (ALRIGHT SO RE DOING MY REVIEW CAUSE I WENT BACK LAST NIGHT). Got very bad food poisoning and have been in the bathroom all today and all night. When you first walk to the bar look to the left and take a look at the cooks. No gloves on, no mask on, no hair nets or anything. Cooks drinking on the job and I even saw the cook run to bathroom super quick and didnt hear the water run at all. Its very nasty how they prepare your food. Wont be returning again.

The food here really is amazing but with Covid and everything else going on I dont think Ill come back unless they people preparing food starts wearing gloves at minimum.. and prepare the food a little more cautiously. Me and my bf ordered food late the other night and he ended up getting food poisoning.. between making sure you dont cross contaminate food, and wear gloves because we dont know if yall wash or not. I think the situation could have been avoided. I hope they start using gloves and such because they really do have the best fried mushrooms

Fries were great ... fried mushrooms AMAZING.... fried fish was WAY over cooked Filets should be flaky... more like pre-chewed baby food. Sucked for me because I only drove 1 1/2 round trip for fish and chips 😛

Ive been ordering from here with doordash but finally made my way out to eat in. Great atmosphere, great staff, and of course some of the best food in Columbia. Well worth driving out to enjoy this joint.

Cool spot in a convenient place. Really solid food too. I had a burger and it was delicious. Onion rings were a big hit too. Nice little bar and great atmosphere with some good beers on tap and pitchers of the cheap stuff too if thats your thing. Pinball machines at the front are also super cool and play nicely with the dive-type atmosphere. I also wouldnt normally comment on this, but the restrooms were really nicely appointed and super clean. Will return soon!!

First visit there with some friends who had been there before. My wife & I both had Burgers that were very good. Our waitress was very nice as well and she did a nice job. Well definitely be back!

OK grease garbage food with decent amount of vegetarian/vegan options. Entire place smelled heavily of nail salon chemicals from next door, quite unappetizing.

The GO-TO place for aging Columbia hipsters as well as the new, cool USC students living off-campus in the historic housing and community left via the Granby Mill legacy//circa: 1920s/pre-TOLL GERVAIS ST. BRIDGE. Its a safe and secure place to eat & social very well.

I highly recommend this place for family and friends. Outdoor seating is available. Food is excellent, great service, drinks are amazing and the pinball is out of this world. Right on the corner of Whaley and Wayne Downtown Columbia, SC.

Family and I went to Granby Grill last night to have dinner and listen to some good music. We were not disappointed. The fries were strongly recommended and they were as good as promised. I had the fish camp and it hit the spot. My son had the chicken and pancakes. The chicken fingers were so good that I will be ordering that next time.Atmosphere was great. The DJ set the mood with an eclectic mix served at the perfect volume. Staff was friendly. Several of which were old friends I haven’t seen in a long time. That always makes for an enjoyable evening. This might very well become our Sunday night spot.

So, this is easily, hands down, one of, if not THE best bar around. I was taken here my first time by one of my friends, and it quickly became THE local spot for us. Granby is such a stellar hang out spot that we humorously refer to it as The only bar that matters! Its the Salty Claim from Family Guy to my particular circle of friends

Seriously the best fish and chips in SC. The food is great, the people are fabulous. Its local and they remember you like extended family members. Whats not to like about this place. Great selection of local beers on draft. You can even order take out. My new go-to comfort food stop.

Great burgers and fries

So one night I’m hungry and I’m not sure what I want to eat, I look through all the delivery services and I see nothing I wanted. Just as I’m about to close the app I see a small picture of some real hand cut fries like the type I and a lot of other people make at home. I order chicken fingers and fries, I was soooooo impressed by the amount of food, the taste(especially the real French fries), and everything. That’s not the best part, I felt like a good when wanted to order a grilled PB&J because I can make it at home until it arrived. OMG, I had to call my girlfriend on the phone to tell her that I was in love with a restaurant and a PB&J sandwich. Yes I can make it at home but a hot PB&J and hot hand cut fries, I’m sticking with the Gramby Grill. Keep up the good food guys!To the cook/manager of the Gramby Grill *****Try a new take on a PB&J, if you offer an alternative of PB&J on raisin bread is amazing, I eat about 8 of them a week.
