Bill remodeled our master bathroom in 2016 and did an amazing job. Our house was built in 1955 with then-current techniques. That means that the small bathroom was a mud room with cement on mesh for walls and essentially a concrete floor; ceramic tiles were then glued and grouted on top of that. Sturdy and waterproof, at least for a quite a few years. All that had to be ripped out and replaced with modern materials. It was a mess, but Bill and his crew put down canvas drop cloths daily and took them up after work each day to protect our floors as they carted the demolition debris to the dumpster.Unfortunately, the shower had been leaking for years, damaging the floor joists which had to be cut out and replaced. Bill’s a master at the art of remodeling and knows that the dimensional lumber used in 1955 in some cases differs from what’s used today; his crew had to do a bit more cutting and fitting than what would be required for a more modern structure. But everything fit and flows evenly, no step up or step down.What’s super about Bill’s work is that he works with craftsmen who build to order the sink vanity and, in our case, an odd door for a small closet. The wall tile and floor were cut and installed by a perfectionist. Everything fits, looks great, and works well.The results were spectacular: our little 1950s bathroom was transformed in to a modern, bright space, a great place to start each day. All thanks to Bill. We’d hire him again for remodeling in a skinny minute!
