Store is vary crowded but has alot of options.

Good selection however store employees are not friendly at all.. no greetings entering no conversation to ask if you found everything you came for when checking out.. I give them a 3stars for the vast selection of items.

Kims Beauty Supply Llc needs to hire people who know how to color bleach and do peoples hair. These people who are working there dont know anymore than I do about coloring hair. They need trained staff to sell these products.

Shortstaffed. The have just enough staff to check customers out and stock. No one was available to ask questions. Ended up leaving.

Been here a couple of times. Im not a hair person. I have now tried two hairstyles. Its definitely a playground for people who keep up with this sort of thing. I think they have a little bit of everything. If they dont have it, I dont know who would.

This place gives me Anxiety!🙄 While most of the time I can get what I need from here all them dang boxes of stuff have me thinking something gonna crawl out and jump on me. I cut my leg on a box while I was in there looking one day. But I found what I needed!! The people are helpful though. Like I said just to cluttered for my liking.

I love this store! 😍 I can’t believe these reviews about how bad the staff is. I’m African American and they have never once followed me or watched me in the store... and I’m there once a week. The floor staff is helpful and the owners who run the register are helpful as well. They run good sales and have fair pricing in my opinion. I like that I can always find what I’m looking for. The store is well organized, clean, and always well stocked. 👍. I just wish they were online... they should have a website to order from with all the inventory they have!

On Sunday they don’t open at 9 am it’s 12 pm would recommend a change to site.

Both me and my friend have experienced the same scam at this location. my incident was I was charge for a product That was never placed in my bag I tried to straighten things out through management however I’m still waiting on a call back;Resulting for me to dispute things through my bank. As of yesterday my friend purchased a Wig from the same location, she was charge An additional 8.99For products that she did not purchase she was also charged $99 for )89 wig. These people are scammers and Overcharging customers daily. Review your receipts before you leave The store. I’m sure they’re running a scam on everyone.

This hair store is the closest to my house, but the worst hair store Ive ever been in. Although the quality of the products are mediocre, the employees act like everyone wants to steal the products. There was one incident where the man ringing me up for my stuff was yelling on the phone the entire time. He then proceeded to bang on a sign instead of verbally communicating with me on what he was trying to say. Very unprofessional for a company who thinks their products are so good. The store was also kind of junky....

This hair store has a wide variety of hair products, cheap clothes, shoes, and jewelry. Its definitely my go to for braiding hair. I wish the customer service was better. I have only encountered 1 employee that is actually helpful. He showed all the products they offered based off of the style I described or a picture. This is not a good place to go if you dont know a lot about hair and would need help.

They had Urban Beauty Goddess Locs for $3.99. I had to get them. When first started with these particular goddess locs they were $6.99. I think they are the best on the market right now. This beauty store has everything to meet your hair needs.

They have just about every product that your looking for available for purchase when it comes to your hair. My only complaint was that I was looking for an individual professional relaxer. They only had the huge tub. But staff was friendly, they did try to help in every way possible & they werent priced to bad. Cant complain about the location either.

I stopped in just to look around. Found a couple of little things. Checked out, went to leave, and the alarm went off. They took my bag, that I paid for, and refused to return it until I emptied my purse in a basket. This was after I allowed them to look insideFirst of all, I was horrified, embarrassed and angry all at once. I was being detained as a shoplifter. Secondly, I was carrying, and had no intention of putting my gun in a basket. And lastly, I was already late and had to pick up my sonThey told me they were calling the police, and I said that was great. I was going to get my son and meet them all back at the store. They did not call the police, so I did. After all, they kept my purchase and my moneyTurns out unless they willingly give me my items or my money, the police are helpless and I will have to pursue that in civil courtThis place is a joke, and not only will I never shop there again, I plan to spread the word to all I know. And lucky for me, dozens of my friends are stylist.

In a nutshell -- went in to return something. I had my receipt. Was told they do not return anything. Sales person got the owner, Vincent, on the phone for me. He said they will not return anything and get out of his store now or he would call the police on me. Dont have to tell me but once. Pretty sad when your merchandise is so bad you cant return anything. They do have a no return policy posted at checkout but one cannot see it because it is covered up. I was treated very rudely by Vincent and will never shop there again.

This store isnt that big and has a small amount of hair. There are barely any wigs and only a small variety of products. They stare at you coming in the door like you are going to steal and follow you around the store. Very unsettling when you are really try to buy something. Much better Beauty Supply stores in Columbia.

I visit this location on 1/3/20 the store is over stock and management make customers feel untrustworthy . I went in to purchase a wig just to be inform that the floor clerk had to hold on to the wig for me . There was another lady that came with me and she was purchasing two wigs when she noticed the clerk ringing in a higher price than was on the wig it was brought to the manager attention when the manager and customer went to the wig section and located the wig that was price as the customer said customer returned to the front waiting for the manager to come and correct the wrong price that was ring but instead the manager refused to allow the customer to get the wig at tha price that was clearly mark on the wig saying something about someone mark it wrong WOW UNBELIEVABLE that was very bad customer service and for such behavior and customer service as that I will never come back ☹☹☹

Not friendly to junkie

The lady there rung me up for about 10 packs of hair that were about 4.99 a piece, and then she charged me for a hair moisturizer. That’s fine but then she charged me for jewlery that I did not purchase for 5.99. I didn’t catch it until 4 days later but when I came back she proceeded to tell me that she rung up the mosturizer as jewlery but the receipt shows I was charged a separate price for the item. She then told me I must have bought something else and that she wasn’t going to give me my money back. I brought the bag in and the receipt with all the items and she did not give me my money for something she mistakenly charged me for. That was very unprofessional and I will not come back.

It is true that these places Watch you like a hawk I suppose with all the stealing that people are doing lately is the reason I hate to say the atmosphere in the store is not pleasant because you feel like you cannot take your time because they are constantly asking and walking around trying to see if you stealing and thats the feeling that I get when I go into these type of store I hate it but there is not these stores are basically run by either Chinese or Oriental or Japanese per se people
