First: I want to acknowledge that although the pharmacy staff are incredibly overworked, they are always helpful. Many of them are very friendly. But Im reviewing because I dont understand how pharmacies allow themselves to be a gathering place for young adults (often coughing) who refuse to follow a mask mandate. CVS can and should do better to protect its clients.
I went in for my Covid booster shot and was turned away by the rude Pharmacist because my underlying medical condition didnt qualify. I double checked the CDC website and I do qualify. She gave inaccurate information and I will not return to this location.
I called to make sure our prescription was ready at 10am. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. We arrived at 11:15 am. Still not ready. They told us to come back in an hour and it would be ready. We came back at 3:15 pm and it was still not ready. They told us to go to the back of the drive thru line and it would be ready. Finally at 3:30 pm we got it after requesting to speak to the manager. The manager never showed up.
I had applied for CVS thru Indeed and then reapplied for CVS on its company website and finally got to talk to CVS store manager over the phone just for him to tell me a white lie that he will get back with me after stating to call CVS to book the interview and proceed on from there. But instead he made it very clear to me that he is gonna go on with the others out of the so called six hundred online applicants. And for the record, I will still get employed and at this time In a student for LAFS although I am fully aware that employers such as CVS and others sufficiently employ USC college students over out of state college students and non college students. But like I stated I am a college student going for my bachelors. And I am very qualified for shocking position as well as cashier. But I can read between the lines.
I called them to get my prescription sent to a different location, I waited on the phone for a whole hour & then a lady picks up of course with an attitude, acting like she doesn’t know how to do her job, she says that she sent it over to the other cvs. I get there the next day & come to find out she didn’t even send it in. Like what were you doing when we were on the phone? I hate this CVS with a passion. The people who work here are so lazy it’s crazy.
This is my favorite CVS, which is a pretty big deal because Im a type 1 diabetic and I go to the pharmacy literally twice every month at the very least. Ive been using this pharmacy for over 8 years now and I have the highest respect for the people who work in the pharmacy and also at the front. Going to the pharmacy so much makes me never want to be a pharmacist, however I have to give a shout out to Thomas and Shania for their service the other day, they were so helpful even after I made their job slightly more complicated than it could have been. They were so kind and hard-working in the middle of vaccinations and virus testing, they still were able to be helpful, professional, nice, and they had the indescribable x Factor quality that just makes people winners. Thank you so much for helping. See you next month!
Pharmacy claimed GoodRx doesn’t work for animals. Our vet gave us the coupon to present, has worked everywhere else and it’s pretty well known it is for medications regardless of who it’s for. They either didn’t want to deal with switching the billing or were just incorrect. Either way if you go here for your animals medicine don’t plan on them letting you use GoodRx. Again - GoodRx works for animals, this pharmacy just pretends it doesn’t. If the pharmacist who told me it doesn’t is reading this, Google it. It saves people money, don’t be lazy.
Always comes in clutch because of the 24hr service.
This is the only location that sells the formula my son eats. Is a bit out of the way but the staff is always pleasant!
This is my go to place if Walgreens doesnt have the medicines I need. The location is good. The employees can work on being more friendly.
Very convenient and I’ve hardly ever had to wait in a line for a long time. Most employees have been very kind and the store is always in order on my visits which is nice when having to find certain items!
CVS is a long run pharmacy for many years and I find it to have been a very professional place get my medication from. Thanks to you all associates who work for CVS.
I am so loyal to this pharmacy. I have been going to it for years and Ive always gotten the best customer service. The pharmacists are so nice and theyre very caring - always helpful and always quick to fill your prescription. I drive from Forest Acres to go to this store because the customer service is that good.
Best CVS location in town. Always have what I need in stock. Joseph is the best pharmacist around. I had cut myself pretty bad at work and this is right down the street. I figured they could at least help me pick out what is best to treat my cut, but he looked at my cut and let me wait to make sure it stopped bleeding so I didn’t have to go get stitches, and he even helped clean/dress my wound. Very thankful for him!
This is a great CVS. They have everything a grocery store has, sometimes at a better price. The pharmacy works as fast as they can, but it can be a bit slow some days. Everyone is always nice and wants to help.
Good convenient, when need an, could have a site to see, at state house the service isnt to bad try to make a appointment for the clinic, seem like the computer appointment would go that day but if, I want to see someone the customer service would of help at the pharmacy.Customer value center heard the motto could be CVS Health.
Ive had nothing but a great experience at this CVS. The store is always clean, items stocked, and staff very friendly and professional. To give a pharmacy a 1-star because of prices beyond their control is pretty ridiculous. Its also very sophomoric to rate a 1-star and not give any details about your experience as well. The store and staff are awesome and I recommend above all other CVS locations in the area...
Not a bad location there is plenty of stuffHowever they are not very responsive to customers needs. Im a frequent stopper meaning I am in there about twice a week. There was a blind man trying to get assistance from staff for a solid 30 minutes and no one came to help, a customer eventally came over and helped. Another experience, I found a customers phone on one of the shelves so I turned it into a staff member and they scoffed at me like I just wasted their time. The coupon machine also breaks a lot, it always says its printed but sometimes it does not. Ive lost quite a bit of cvs bucks that way.
Taking a cab to the train station, and needed to briefly stop in. As I walked through the door, I asked the manager at the front checkout counter for that one product I needed. He directed me, then promptly disappeared into back of store. I had already told him what I wanted, and he knew I would only be a second. He did not have to disappear, requiring me to call out, across the store, “I’ve got a cab waiting outside.” That was unthinking and a little rude.
Pharmacy staff is respectful and always does their best to get things filled quick and correct! even doing the brand vs. generic with no questions asked which is a blessing some dont even realize when thats the medicine you need regularly!!
This CVS is great because they are open 24/7! This means that I can go get ice cream 24/7!
Always open and always got what I need. Stay cool, CVS.
The mismanagement is astonishing. They are the most unprofessional establishment I have ever done buisness with. They waste their customers time and money without a second thought and handle your medicine with little thought or care. They are LITERALLY THE WORST. Proceed with caution.
They never answer the phone. I called and called and it would ring for a minute and hang up. This happened repeatedly. No excuse for this. I never had this issue at Walgreens.
They keep cutting pharmacist hours; they run out of unusual (but critical) meds, but thats SC for ya. They manage the state Rx benefit system and put a lot of standard-of-care branded drugs off the formulary, which sucks. Staff are kind, though run ragged by corporate scheduling. Support your local independent Rx shop instead.
BAD service and BAD system they make my picking up prescription so hard, take long time, and so high prices. Its better to go to Walgreens or Walmart
I was just in store 8:42pm walked entire store three timed no offer of help. Then I go to checkout after I found item took FOREVER to get checked out .Then I used my rewards coupon and of course did not work.!!!!!!
Its disgusted pharmacy, I recommanded to go to WALGREENS because people at Walgreen are very helpful and nice. Moreover, Walgreen price cheaper than CVS (Cere Vie Sight)
Fast At This Location
The drive through takes forever
I dislike this pharmacy because the price so high.
Internet show as 24 pharmacy which is not true
This is NOT a 24 hour pharmacy. The store is open 24 hours, the PHARMACY is NOT.
Great CVS
Sluggish
