Great and quick service. I havent had a check up in a while so I was a little nervous but they definitely put all my worries at ease. Everything was easy from check in to pitching out the perfect frames. Dr. Laroque was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. Segue helped with my frames and made the perfect suggestion for a long term wear. Honestly one of the best experiences at the eye doctor Ive had in years.

They have a large display of glasses and if your looking for designer frames this is the right place. I was able to do the eye exam and get my glasses all in one day.

They will waste your time and gas. I had requested an eye exam. I was specific when I called. I went as scheduled and then was told I would have to come back. I asked to speak to a manger, she is working from home and have to email to get an appointment. So no resolution for a while. It took me three minutes to find The Eye Center PA, which was very professional and courtesy unlike Eye Associates. They have lost our business as well as Lens Crafters. I have been going to Lens Crafters for over 20 years. A new beginning and has to be an improvement from what I received today. Eye Associates do not care about customers but like your money.

This was absolutely one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had. I brought my 86 year old aunt in without an appointment because she desperately needed a new prescription. Jenn the store manager and Jazmin moves the schedule around to fit her in. They were so incredibly kind to her I can’t even put it into words. Jenn managed to have new glasses ready for her in less than an hour. When we left she was so happy she said “this changes my life. I don’t have to worry when I drive now”. Jenn, Jazmin, Niya and Connor were amazing and should be recognized. Fantastic experience.

Very friendly practice. 2the technician was very personal and had a great disposition. He explained what he was doing and was proficient doing it. Dr. Walsh was also very friendly and explained what she found during the exam and various options. This practice uses the latest technology as well from website scheduling to eye scanners that alleviate the need for dilation. I was impressed with everything and will definitely be back and have the rest of the family go here.

Asked about 40 charge that i never had to pay before and the lady got an attitude when i asked her to check my insurance. 2 seconds later she was like nope sarcastically. I dont like unexpected fees! They could have told me over the phone before I drove 30 minutes and wasted my time. Ive been going hear for a few years and never had to pay for an eye exam. They get a new machine which they know insurance wont cover and DONT ADVISE UNTIL YOU GET IN THE OFFICE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! STAFF UNPROFESSIONAL AND COMPANY NEEDS TO BE UPFRONT WHEN THEY CALL YOU.

All of the associates were really nice and talked me through all the steps. Dr. Powers was personable, very professional and provided an in depth review of my eye and the prescription available to me. I highly recommend.

I would not recommend this place at all! My appointment was at 11:30 on yesterday, I arrived probably ten mins early and was not seen until after 12:00. There was not anyone else there but me, but they were busy conversing amongst themselves. The young lady who did my eye exam had no personality and talking to her was like pulling teeth and the optometrist Dr. wint wasn’t any better she barely greeted me when she walked in. I gave them one star because the young lady on the sales floor was helpful, but that’s all.

Brittany is amazing and will make sure you find the perfect glasses, no matter how picky you are! Destiny and Dr. Park are amazing too. He goes above and beyond what normal eye doctors do. Great service. Eye doctor and staff were awesome. When it was time to pick out glasses they listened to what I wanted and I was in and out in under an hour.

I got an exceptional service! First of all, before my appointment they sent me few reminders about my appointment. When in the Drs office everything went smooth. The Doctor, as well as the assistant, were very nice and professional. Due I was the last patient of the day they were closing when I was done with my eye exam; therefore, I have to return to choose my glasses. The second time I wait a little bit due all the restrictions for Covi-19. But at the end they helped me to choose the right lenses and helped me all the way through.

I was seen at the Sandhills location. Dr. Powers is awesome, professional, and knows what hes doing. Staff is great, the equipment is sanitized, and the office is very clean. I love how they have the hand sanitizer at the door and everyone that handles the patients must wear a mask.

Extremely professional! I went in to get my eyes checked for the very first time and had the best experience here. Mrs. Walsh was super nice and explained all the procedures and machines that would be checking my eyes. In her findings she was extremely informative of what she had found and explained thoroughly what the next procedure would be going forward. I highly recommend going to see her and her staff for your eye appointments.

Our family has used Eye Associates of Columbia for several years now and have always liked the service we received. Last year, I did not have a great experience and considered finding another place for my annual eye appointments. Glad I did not do that! I returned back to Dr. Powers this year after having seen a different eye doctor last year. What an amazing experience! He was able to correct the contact lens issue I had been having, got me properly fit and genuinely was interested in my comfort and happiness with the service I received. His staff (Jennifer in particular) were helpful, informative and helped to run things smoothly. The office no longer dilates your pupils because they have state-of-the-art equipment that circumvents the need for that but still gives the eye doctor everything he/she needs to look at the overall health and wellness of your eye. I have since learned that the doctor I saw last year was no longer there so if you had a similar experience in past, give them another chance. I am really glad I did.

I want to thank the awesome doctors and crew! They helped my 8 year old daughter find the perfect glasses and treated her like a queen! The staff here is great everyone greets you with the smell soon as you walk through the door. The process is quick but the service is excellent. The entire office staff gets five STARS from me. I’d recommend this location to any and everyone that needs an exam and or fitted for new frames and lenses.

The office at Columbiana mall performed an expensive and unneeded test not covered by insurance. They did not inform me of the test being done nor did they give me a chance to opt out. Ask before they administer any procedure. Not only did I not need this test but I knew it was not covered. They just passed me through several devices without explaining what they were doing. Some patients might need this procedure but if you dont or dont want procedures not covered by insurance you will not be notified. I am $41.00 out of pocket needlessly. This test seems to be used in many cases as a revenue enhancer. From now on I will get my eye testing at an ophthalmologist where informed consent is practiced and medical issues can be addressed appropriately and honestly.

I have been going to them for at least 8 years and each year it seems like the less you have them do there the less they want to take care of you. I want to buy my glasses at a different place and asked them to measure and was willing to pay extra but was told no since I wasn’t buying my glasses there so just got my prescription will go somewhere else next time.

Two of my teenagers had eye exams back to back, one of which has special needs. The management at the store was so kind, understanding, and friendly with our children and our whole family that was waiting. It was a wonderful experience there and we would highly recommend going to Eye Associates of Columbia for your eye exams.

I have been coming here for about 5 years and they have always explained everything before doing anything. I would have given 5 stars on the actual exam and the doctor, but by the time it came to pay I was floored! My eye exam is normally $10 with the insurance I have. I knew there was going to be a charge for a contact fitting, BUT $40 for a picture of my eyes because MOST people don’t like getting their eyes dilated BAFFLES me! I knew that getting my eyes dilated was going to be part of the exam, but when you don’t give me an option on whether or not I want the 3D picture or my eyes dilated angers me! I WILL be calling about this because I pay extra for the more expensive eye care and to be charged this much discourages me from even buying glasses, contacts, or even coming back!

Overall it was a pretty good experience and it was pretty fast they got me in and out on time, but while waiting the staff members were having some interesting conversations that I think maybe weren’t appropriate for clients to hear. But overall it was pretty good.

“This appointment started a little rough. I had made an appointment for my daughter to have an eye exam, be fitted for contacts, and receive training. Upon signing in, I was told we had to come back another day because there was no time on the schedule for her training. I explained that this was not told to me when I was setting up the appointment. When Jennifer saw how upset I was at having to reschedule, she began looking for an alternative solution. She wound up volunteering her lunch time to train my daughter on the contacts!! What amazing customer service!!! Kudos to her for making what could have been a very negative situation into a very positive outcome!!! Thanks to her for being so kind!!!

Jennifer at the Harbison (Columbia, SC) location is amazing! She sped along my eye exam process all while handling the multitude of other customers within the store by herself. They were understaffed due to it being the middle of the week. She was friendly and helpful (and clearly knew what she was doing). Jennifer is absolutely an asset to LensCrafters.

The area was clean and staff were all awesome. They were professional and knew their stuff when it came to any questions I had regarding my eyes or the glasses I was looking for. The only thing that I had a issue with was that I have to wait 2 weeks before I get my new glasses, but this has nothing to do with the staff, so no blame can go to them. Overall I would recommend them to anyone, but patience is needed. lol

Customers are not being advised that a digital imaging is not covered by any insurance, nor that the same diagnosis can be achieve without the extra expense. After being summoned into the pre-examination room and asked to removed my glasses, the technician gave me a clipboard with a form to be read and signed. He explained it to be a permission form to perform a much needed diagnostic test. After retrieving my glasses, I could read that I was about to sign a form to consent to a digital imaging at my own cost. When I questioned the technician about this practice, he explained that he was instructed to not comment on the form because everything was written. In other words, he was to SAY NOTHING to advise patients about alternative methods of diagnosis that are fully covered by insurance companies. I find this practice deceitful and ethically marginal. I don´t know if this practice is associated with Lenscrafters, but if it is, I recommend that you question everything. They do not have your best interest. Theyre main goal is to make a quick buck from trusting patients. BEWARE OF ANY FORM THAT YOU ARE ASKED TO SIGN.

I went back for a follow up appointment to see if I enjoyed my new contacts. I told them I liked them and I was ready to purchase my new contacts. The guy at the desk told me all the retail specialists were busy and they would call me to collect payment. So I walked around the mall. 3 hours later and still no phone call. I go back to the store, and Im told the same thing...they are still busy. I took my prescription and walked out. I will go to another place to purchase my contacts . Horrible customer service!

Vision test was excellent. I ran into problems trying to get progressive lense. I did not agree that there was a need to bend the frams to make the glasses line up on my face. I felt that the lenses should have been designed to follow my line of sight. Each time I spoke up I was told that I would have to just get adjusted to the glasses and fpukd the measurement was off. They just would not listen and I was tired of trying to get them to understand. The employees became agitated and rude. My score is for vision test only.
