My old computer needed a hard drive, cleaning and some cosmetic work. Josh is amazing and restored it completely. He is wonderful to work with. Recommend highly!

DO NOT USE this company!!!!! They lie, they dont do what you ask & then they accuse the customer of lying. They dont even bother trying to make it right. Disgusting & disgraceful!!David is right! Josh professes to be a Christian & he flat out lied to me & his boss ( I have no use for either!) He also told me he did exactly what I wanted from certain dates & certain people (I gave him a sheet of exactly what I needed & even high-lighted for him.) Of the 800 pages I was told I read in 30 minutes at the store (Im fast but not that fast) I could only use three texts. Not only did he fail to do what I PAID him to do, he deleted my contact list of 1,000s from my computer & I can no longer email myself reminders.I want a refund of my $100.00

I had a device that crashed, and I needed to retrieve the information from it. Best Buy told me it would be at least 2 weeks to get this done, and there was no guarantee that they could retrieve the information, all at a cost of $200. PC Avenue said they could definitely get the data back and for a lot less. And the delivered! They were fantastic! They were able to retrieve the data from the crashed drive, and did it in 24 hours. You need any type of computer work done, go see these guys!

On a Monday morning my work computer died. I called PC Ave and they told me to bring it right up and they could work on it that day. They were super nice and helpful and made the whole process as painless as possible. Such a treat to feel like a valued customer!

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but i came here to fix my mac’s broken screen (paid them $500 for that) and when i got my laptop back it was completely messed up, came to find out these guys ripped off my battery cable so my battery doesn’t work, used incorrect parts to fix things, and put wires/cables back in the wrong places and left other things unplugged. as a result my laptop only works when plugged into a charger and i now have to spend hundreds more dollars on a new logic board.

Rick and Bob have always taken care of me. Very knowledgeable and highly trained. Bob let me watch them run diagnostics on my computer and were able to find the crazy viruses on my PC. They had me out within an hour and threw in a new power supply and fan just because I needed one. I really believe that they care about their customers and are doing the best that they can to make sure that they are treated fairly.. Thanks Bob.

Ive been going to PC Avenue for several years. Rick the previous owner and I use to arm wrestle for fun. He was an avid flight Sim fan and had a huge flight simulation computer in the back that I played on. Josh worked there for Rick and continues to today, he is extremely knowledgeable and proficient on computers, tablets, software, etc. They do excellent work and are reliable for any concerns one may have about a plethora of issues concerning computers. In fact Im having a computer being built by them right now, with a bunch of special add on components. Wade Frick.

Why is this a UPS pickup location??? The employees clearly could not care less about providing that service. I went there on two different occasions and had to leave without my package both times. The first time I went in, there was an employee sitting in the back room who saw me walk in, but he did not acknowledge me. There was no option to ring or buzz for help. I stood in the front area for several minutes and neither the employee who saw me nor anyone else came to help, so I left. I came back a few days later at 4:50pm, and the closed sign was up, despite it being 10 minutes prior to closing, and despite there being two different employees walking around inside. I walked up to the door, which was half open, and the employee who saw me again did not acknowledge me. I am now having to contact UPS to have them redeliver my package. Dont provide a service if you are unwilling to help those who need it.

Every 3 or 4 years, our lap top crashes. We do have it cleaned by them every once in a while, and they do a good job. But sometimes it is terminal and the lap top just wont come back up.When we buy the new one, they are always able to easily recover the data from the old one, and load it on the new. They usually are able to work a deal with us where we trade the labor of setting up the new one for them getting to keep the old lap top. And we dont buy the new computer from them.

Wow!!!!!! This Rick guy that owns this place and his tech a tall skinny guy Shout out! They came through for me 4 days before Christmas 2011. He Completely Fixed my computer and was fair with the price unlike the other computer places here in Columbia mo. These guys know there stuff. My PC zooms now and is smooth and quiet. I recommend PC Avenue to anyone who needs a new PC or there old one repaired.REST IN PEACE RICK!!!!!!!!!

Even though it took a bit long, they still fixed my computer perfectly. It had a broken power port and they were able to ship in the parts and replace it. They also cleaned off my computer which was nice as well. Definitely worth it

I bring all my computers here when i have issues. Quick turn around time and nice techs. I would recommenced them if your having computer problems.

This place reeks of cigarette smoke and is unbearable. The doors will randomly be locked and no one there at random times during the day, making it very difficult to pickup a UPS package. With the lack of consistent business hours and ridiculous smokey atmosphere, this should not be a UPS pickup location. Stop smoking in your business and be there during business offices... you know, the basics.

I wish I could give Josh MINUS 10 stars due to poor communication.I make a long story short. I asked him how long will it take. He said 2 hours . He never called me when it was done. I called PC AVE. There was no answer. I even texted him. NO rely. I drove to the store and found the store already was closed at 5. I was there at 5:15. The website stated it closes at 6. He did not tell me that he did removed ALLLLLL of my over 2,000 files and 300 settings for my laser engraver business. He just told me everything was OK when I picked my computer up. When I started up my computer to run an etching machine, Found my files and settings were G-O-N-E ! ! ! I called Josh, He told me the hard drive was crashed.. HOW COME he never told me when I picked it up. That was second time happened. I have to start ALLLLLL OVER again ! ! ! ! I am done ! ! ! !

The only reason I was here was that they are a dropoff for UPS when Im not at home to accept delivery. They sell pc parts and build custom pcs.

PC Avenue failed to meet basic customer service needs and expectations. I paid $100 to have my laptop Checked It was returned to me Fixed But promptely went down a day after it being serviced. I ended up going back and forth 6 times returning my laptop and on my last pick up it still was not fixed. Additionally, PC Avenue broke my charging port when they took apart my laptop. It is unforchunate that this company has such high reviews, I would suggest going elsewhere if you want to save time and actually fix your computer.
