Where to start.If this is what a 4.8* coffee shop looks like in Columbia, it’s a sad state of affairs in this town.As you can see in the photo they have zero knowledge on how to steam milk, which would lead me to believe they have the same attention to detail in pulling espresso shots. This ranks highly as one of the worst lattes I’ve ever had the pleasure of dumping down the drain.No fresh pastries, every one in the case was wrapped in plastic, for who knows how long. Don’t worry there are plenty more on the shelf in back! Sigh.Coffee beans on the shelf were roasted in 2020! Crazy huh. It’s Oct ‘21.Shocking experience in such a highly rated place. But the drive through should have been the first clue.

Can I give it a 10 star rating?? Without a doubt, the best tasting dirty Chai Ive ever had. Worth driving to Missouri for. Will definitely stop again on my next trip through!

The person who helped me was very helpful. Made my coffee like I asked for it. She was quick and very very helpful. I will definitely be going back.

The wait can be long at times but the staff is always friendly and willing to make changes as need to any order. My kids love this place as well and its a popular birthday visit!

I always visit the northside location next to Wilson’s. I never have to wait in a long line and the customer service is always wonderful. I am never disappointed in the drinks that I order, and my oldest kiddo always makes me order him a sausage egg and cheese bagel because he loves them so much. We love the Grind!

We were driving through on our road trip and decided to stop in. The service was very nice, and the employees happy and helpful.I got the orange cream grinder, and my spouse got the vanilla nut iced coffee.The whip cream for mine even had orange flavor. It was delicious.My spouse loved the coffee, it gave them the needed pep in their step.I wish they had a location closer to st. Louis! I would go all the time.

So coffee obviously but their protein shakes, protein balls and bagel breakfast sandwiches were really good too. Been coming for morning telework and it’s had good customer service, clean and all their stuff has been on point! Who needs Starbucks?! Shop local!

They have a drive thru!! I have been looking for a new coffee stop, and so glad I found this place. They have a great variety of drink options, and a great outdoor seating area. I am definitely going to be a regular customer.

I love The Grind! I go at least once a week and I’m never disappointed. I especially love mint mochas and ice vanilla nut coffee. And you can’t beat being able to get a donut from Ellianna’s - another Columbia favorite. So delicious! Thanks for keeping me caffeinated!

I love to try out different cafes and restaurants around the world and more recently in Columbia. I’ve been a regular at the cafe Grind in the last year or so and it is definitely one of Columbia’s best. They have superb service and EXCELLENT coffee and tea (I like to get the Alpine Berry, Ginger Lemon, and sometimes the Twinings Chai). And last but not the least, a special mention of their super friendly staff - kudos to the team who manages this place.

Slowest drive through ever. Dont stop if u have more than one car in the drive thru. Waited 14 min, no acknowledgment, finally left. Starbucks will be opening nearby soon.

This is by far the best coffee I’ve found! The medium roast was strong but very tasty! The barista (Miranda) made my complicated order perfectly and was so kind! Very impressed and will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been going to The Grind almost daily for 2 years now. Hands down the best coffee in town, they also have the only Red Bull Smoothies in town. I highly recommend everything on their menu.

In the past I only came to this location after dropping my car off for service at a nearby shop. Today I realized that their outdoor seating is completely shaded in the AM, so no messing with umbrellas. If you love coffee and being outside, but try to avoid direct sunlight this is the place for you!

The Grind is absolutely one of my favorite coffee houses in the Columbia area. Delicious everytime, and a place where youre not afraid to switch up your usual. They now have 3 locations to you can visit!!

The Grind are the unsung heroes of the morning. Their staff can turn that Monday frown upside down and their anti-murder juice does the job. Both the North and South locations have blessed me with their presence and I must say I will have a mid life crisis if they ever go away. Their pumpkin spice latte is o bc point and better than those “other people”...in all honesty all their anti murder juice is better than all those “other people” the love they pour into each cup just runneth over. If you’re feeling froggy and need something to calm you down, stop into The Grind they have just what the local prosecutor ordered. Much love!

The grind makes the best coffee in town. They are the only place where I can get an almond milk mocha with non dairy whipped topping. The coffee is never burnt and the baristas always seem to be having a good day. And the scones!

Great coffee! Brought my toddlers to the shop with me (also coffee lovers) and bought them cremes. Cremes were very sweet, so one only drank a little and the other drank half. Would recomend asking for a bit more milk;) but a great stop overall.

Literally my favorite coffee shop in town. The best cold brew and iced coffee in town. So much more friendly caring than other shops in town. They always get my order right and if it’s not they never get annoyed at fixing it. Prices are right and the scones are to die for!!

The owner gave me a job over the summer so I could save some money before moving to college, and I have absolutely LOVED my time working here. The environment is very friendly and the owner is always kind and helpful, and makes working at the Grind a fun experience. Grateful to have the skills of a barista now!

The Grind Coffee House is hands down the best local coffee shop in Columbia. Friendly staff, quick service, and not to mention the amazing coffee and cafe drinks! Never have to worry about parking and the hours they provide are amazing.I decided to apply for a job soon after realizing how amazing their coffee is compared to other local coffee shops and I still dont regret working there to this day! Been working there for almost a year now & not only have I made many friends through the job I also have learned sooo much about coffee and the technique behind it all!I highly believe that theres no other coffee shop that compares to the Grind.

The Grind is a great alternative to the big chain coffee shops for a place to sit and do some reading or chatting. With ample seating and a wonderful atmosphere, its a relaxing place to sit for a while before work or come in the evenings to unwind. The staff are always kind and knowledgeable about their drinks and happy to talk about them with you. Their coffee is perfectly brewed and great either black or in any of the milk/cream/water/what-have-you combinations you would like.

I thought I would be hard pressed to find a replacement of my favorite coffee shop after I moved to Columbia. The Grind has most definitely stepped up to the plate. They have very nice staff and delicious coffee!

The coffee here is delicious and Ive never disliked something I got. I am an iced coffee lover and I appreciate they dont add tons of ice like other places! You actually get what you pay for! I also like that they have several sugar free options.

Ordered a drink through the drive through that I discovered was completely wrong. However, they more than made it up to me and genuinely cared about my satisfaction of the quality of the drinks they make. Because of this, I will continue to support this business. Great customer service and convenient location!

Great cold brew, not too busy, so a really nice quiet place to get work done on the lap top and enjoy the cold brew. They also started making protein shakes and I love that, so its nice when running out of Wilsons fitness to grab a shake right after!

GREAT place for lunch. Protein balls are great (except vanilla almond). Thin min protein shake is great and Red Bull strawberry smoothie- yum!

This is by far the best coffee shop I have EVER been to. The customer service is outstanding, all of the food and drinks are amazing and it is always so clean inside and out. There has never been not 1 time I have ever left there and thought anything except just that. Definitely 5 stars plus some!!!

We were driving through on I-70 and wanted a quick pick-me-up to get us to KC. The Grind was just the thing, easy to get to just North of the highway. The cold brew was awesome, and we also enjoyed their Chocolate peanut butter Grinder. Clean and new on the inside and a helpful staff. Well be back!
