16 years ago when I bought my house they did my entire house at an incredible price. They came to my house and helped us pick the right flooring which was of the best quality and the best installation. There was a potential lengthy stall in carpet production but the store didn’t put up with that and ensured we had our carpet installed on time. We used Abbey Carpet & Floor for the original carpet in our place of business. Fast forward 5 years later, a car ran through the front of our building and ruined our flooring. We bought a house in Charlotte, NC, which needed carpets replaced. We had a window of only about 11 days before the moving date and though it best to get it done before we moved, when the house was vacant. We were wondering if it would be a problem for Abbys Carpet to do the job in Charlotte, NC. We found out that their best hardwood installers came from Charlotte to do hard wood in Columbia as well. We were going to replace the carpets in the MBR with hardwood. Google had many stellar reviews on their work, most by recent happy customers. So we went to the store and explained what was needed to be done. Bob from Abbys Carpets took the time to drive to Charlotte, NC the very next morning after our visit to the store and personally evaluated the job, procured samples (remnants) of hardwood from the house, measured the rooms, determined that particular flooring was no longer manufactured, came up with the closest matching product and picked a few samples of high quality carpets they thought would work well for us. We made our final choices the following day. They juggled their schedule a little bit to accommodate our needs and finished the job in a week. Work was outstanding. The place was left clean and looking really good as though nothing happened. The price was right as well! Fine folks, there, at Abbys Carpets. We were making significant improvements to our house and needed some new area rugs and room-darkening blinds. We visited Abbey Carpets and Interiors, and were impressed with the many options and various price points they offer. We were also impressed with the knowledge and helpful attitude of the salespeople. They suggested an option for our bathroom floors which we would not have thought of on our own, and we are very pleased with the rugs.They offered to let us take samples of the material for the bathroom rugs, and blinds home to see what colors worked best in our rooms. The blinds were installed professionally by their installer, and we are happy with their service.We also purchased a large area rug for our bedroom. I contacted the company to get a quote and a gentleman came out the same day to measure my room and I was told that I would get a call that afternoon or the next day with the quote. It has now been about 2 weeks and I’m still waiting on that call. I really wanted to have my carpet replaced as soon as possible so I really wish they would have reached back out. I guess now I’ll find someone else to go with.

They re-floored the entire house using quality products. The install took several days. They moved the furniture back and forth with no problems.They also installed wrought iron railing on the stairs and tile in the kitchen and bathroom (walls and floor). My wife and I had a new floor put in our entry hall, half bath and kitchen two years ago. It is a vinyl plank floating floor. Not being familiar with this type of floor when it sounded like walking on bubble wrap i thought well it just needs to settle. Long story short after two years i contacted Shahbaz at Abbey Carpets to see what could be done. He came to my house to see the issue. Bottom line in less than a week a crew of three came and fixed the issue in 6 hours. The point is to have a company come in and fix this after 2 years is the kind of company anyone should want to work with. Any future flooring needs will be done by Abbey Carpets. I recommend Abbey without reservation as my flooring company and should be yours.

I purchased my original carpet from Abbey Carpets 14 years ago. I put a Masland carpet in the largest room of the house and added a border to it.It needed to be stretched, the the border complicated the job. The seams for the border can only stand so much pull.Thanks goodness for Sorvina. It was a very large space and the room wasnt 1 large square. Sorvina did an excellent job, it looks like the day it was originally installed. Not only did he and his helper do a fantastic job but they cleaned up after themselves and vacuumed the carpet, like they had just installed it.I have been using Abbey Carpet and Floor for 14 years for my carpets and all my hardwood floors and would always recommend them!

We were looking to install hardwood flooring upstairs to match our stained hardwoods downstairs. After several failed attempts with other companies, we stopped into Abbey. They had a huge selection to choose from, and we found a floor that is extremely close in color to what we have already. We were anxious to start, so they came to measure within two days, worked around my schedule (which doesnt happen a lot in Columbia), and started the install the following week. The installation team did a fantastic job--the floor is absolutely beautiful, and has completely changed the look of our upstairs. It looks classy, elegant, and is exactly what we wanted. After having a series of dealings with companies offering extremely poor customer service, purchasing a carpet from Abbey carpet was like a breath of fresh air. The owner, Mr Patel, greeted us and talked us through the different carpeting options available to us based on our lifestyle. He sent us home with one of the sample cards so that could decide on the color after seeing it in our room. He came by the next evening and measured the room. The next day we had a full quote with options emailed to us. Payment was taking over the phone and less than a week later the fitting guys came over and laid the carpet. They did an awesome job! I couldnt be happier with this company - theyre local and have the very best customer service. We actually compared the price at Home Depot and they came in about the same, but Home Depot was going to take 2 weeks to have it fitted and quite honestly didnt care much about us.We will always buy our flooring from Abbey now.

The previous owner had Hunter Douglas shades installed by Abbey Carpet in 2008. One of the shades broke and I noticed that Abbey had installed them. Omg! Where do I start? I needed carpet installed in 3 of my bedrooms so I called Lowes and they charged me 35 dollars to come out to measure the room. It took 2 weeks for a contractor to call to setup an appointment with me and not only did the contractor TELL me what day he can come instead of asking me what was a great day he can come out to measure the bedrooms he didnt come. I had to call Lowes and complain and finally somebody came out. A week passed and I didnt hear from anybody at Lowes so I called them and the rep apologize and said the guy that measured the floor didnt put the measurements in the portal so she couldnt give me an estimate. She told me she would call me later after she found out what was going on. She called the NEXT Day and said we are going to give you a discount plus we move the funiture out the rooms for free. I told her there was no funiture in the rooms because its still in storage. The lady then gave me my estimate which included the installation (I guess) and it came out to be 1600.00 (yikes). I told the lady I would call her back after talking to my husband but honestly I didnt have no intentions of doing that. I searched the Web and found Abbeys Carpet and gave them a call......Right away the same day Bob came out to measure the floor for free of charge, he brought samples of the carpet with him so I was able to select from the samples. He gave me an estimate before leaving my home that was nowhere close to what Lowes was charging me (AFFORDABLE) you hear me!lol plus when I made a purchase they came out the next day to install my carpet and believe me when I tell you I LOOOOOOOVE IT!!I was able to move my bedroom sets in once the installation technicians were finished and I am very please with how swift everything went, very professional staff, very helpful, affordable(best price in Columbia), and the great quality of the carpet that I purchased for a Great price!
