Weve had several bad experiences over the years with JTs and its always left a bad taste in our mouths about wanting to shop there again. But as usual we still need cars to fit our lifes needs. We were reached out to by Justin H. at Dodgeland about an inquiry we had on a used vehicle they had there. After telling him about how we were hesitant to buy from them will all our bad experiences with the Jts of Lexington & Kia, he asked if wed give them one more shot to make it right, and man did he pull through. It was by far the best car buying experience wed ever had. We were in and out in less than 2 hours. Infact we were so impressed we went back and bought another vehicle 2 days later. To say that we left feeling pleased with our dealings is and understatement. We were beyond impressed and will be going back to him for any future needs we may have with car buying.

I purchased a Ram 2500 on 31 May this year for 46k. I’m an Active Duty Service Member and am not from South Carolina so this was my first time purchasing a vehicle in the state. I recently received a vehicle tax notice and was informed that on top of what I’ve already paid for the vehicle I would also need to pay an additional tax of 6% of what the vehicle is worth.This being new to me I called the dealership to ask what it was and why it wouldn’t be mentioned at any point during the process of purchasing the vehicle. The response I received was “ it’s common knowledge for residents of South Carolina “… if we are going to use phrases such as this wouldn’t it be “ common knowledge “ in a military heavy city that not every one is a South Carolina resident.The issue for me isn’t so much with the tax itself. First of all they sold me the vehicle for 46k and the vehicle was appraised (on the day of sale) at 40.5k… yes it’s good for the 6% part but it tells me they sold me a vehicle for more than it was worth… not to mention I accepted well under what I expected to receive on my trade in (even though they had their 4K over blue book deal at the time)… the part that upset me the most is that at no point was this tax mentioned… it would have effected my decision in purchasing the vehicle.I put 20k down on this vehicle and accepted a sub par offer on my trade in… the least they could have done is let me know I’d have to fork out some more cash out of pocket. In speaking with their manager I didn’t even receive a simple “sorry we didn’t mention it”… I basically received an “everybody knows this” and more or less told I was sol…
Do not go here for service. While traveling through Columbia, the water pump failed on my truck (Ram 2500 Cummins) leaving me stranded. I had it towed it to a dodge dealership for it to be fixed and get back on the road. Long story short, a water pump at advance auto parts is a $321.00 part and takes an hr or two to fix. I did this service myself last time this happened, but traveling and not having tools with me left me at their mercy. What should’ve been a $400-$500 total bill, I’m hit with a $1,500 bill. They charged me over $400 for the part and over $1,000 in labor, service fees, blah blah blah. An absolute rip off and it’s disgusting. I recommend finding a different shop in town to go to if you have an issue. I have never felt so cheated out of money.

Was looking for the perfect truck and found it at JTs Dodgeland used cars on Jamil Rd. Inquired online and was contacted by my salesman Will who was awesome. I went by one day saw the vehicle and then the next day we had a deal done over the phone. All I had to do was walk in and sign with no waiting. Will did and awesome job from start to finish. He even continued to follow up with me after the purchase. I recommend if you purchase there to ask for him.
5 Stars for the secondary salesman. He was honest, and genuine. I do not like the fact that they steal over $500 dollars on every vehicle sold with the Location device scam. They put a cheap tracker on your vehicle, although nobody would show me where this is at.
Service takes really good care of their customers. The advisors communicate well with the techs and cashiers. Cashiers communicated well with me about the timeline of my vehicle services. 10/10 would recommend this service department for any mopar repairs!

Got my Charger serviced here recently for some recalls. Everything went well and ontime. I dropped it off in the morning and it was ready that afternoon when I came back. Les was my service advisor and he was awesome. Id bring it back again if I needed to. Good experience.

I will start with the positive. The salesman Aarons personality was the only highlight of a complete waste of time. we arrived last Saturday morning at 11:20 a.m. looking for used Subaru we were told that the car was not on the lot and we were driven to another JT car lot across town. After staying at that lot for 10 minutes, we were told that the car was not at that lot, but back at the original lot where we had just left. so we return to the original lot. After 50 minutes... we examine the car and the car seemed to be in good shape although the drivers window would not roll down. we decided we will look at the numbers. and inside the numbers started with ridiculous excuses to add approx. $ 1000.00 on top of the cost of the vehicle @$6,900. along with tax, tag, etc. it was over $9000. Although i was a GA resident.xx I was told the charges were a GPS Monitor and a flashing light in the back that would deter people from hitting the vehicle in the rear. after laughing we basically got them down to $7,000 out the door ! We respectfully declined and left the dealership. We had no luck dr/eiving around Columbia we decided that we would call the dealership and tell them that we would offer them $6,500 for the car out the door. THEY ACCEPTED OUR OFFER AND WE WERE PAYING CASH. They told us to come and purchase the car. we were approximately 10 minutes away from the dealership halfway back the young man calls us on the phone and says hurry up theres somebody looking at the vehicle and hung up. we get there and we give the young man the $6500 and he said everythings going to be fine and we wait and we wait and then he comes back and says that they had offered him $500 more than what we had offered. well...we did not get the car because the dealership did not honor their word and as we were walking out the door, THE MANAGERtold us about fist fights in the parking lot and told us that there was a air condition leak in the car that had not been disclosed to us. and I guess that was an excuse for us to feel better and justify a dealership not keeping their word...???!?!?! Go figure.
I give 5 stars to Service Advisor, Jes Lawhorne in the Service Dept. I have never met Mr. Lawhorne but heis really nice and makes you feel like you have known him forever. This is our second Dodge purchase and we bring it back for all service calls. Oil changes, tire rotation, etc and anything else. My son or myself will always ask for Jes Hawthorne and after he hears thesymptoms he knows pretty well what needs to be done. So this was initially a 5 star. This is second person Ive referred (and just to be clear these are not paid referrals) to you guys that had the same negative experience. And thats vehicles not being cleaned. At 20k+ a clean car should be a given. This one was a little closer to home as it was my sister. The vehicle was filthy spills on the seats trash under the seat dirty doors ect. Though her salesperson did attempt at the time of purchase to have issues corrected on the spot it appears that only the issues that could be readily seen were attempted. She took him up on the offer to bring it back for a more thorough detail yet she still had stains on the seats and trash under the seats after the second attempt.

Just want to start off with I have a 2020 ram 2500 that I bought brand new last year from dodge land. It has 41k miles and is on its 3rd transmission, 3rd key fob, the windows go up and down by themselves when I hit bumps, the radio still freezes (I ask them to look at it every appointment) and after the latest appointment, my front tire was making noise. It wore my tire out within a month and I just picked my truck up today and they said it’s because of the tire. I heard it making the noise in their parking lot and turned around and they said I’d have to leave it again. My truck is the main part of my business and I can’t not work. While the transmission got fixed the first time they didn’t give me a rental for the first 3 days and then I got a car that I couldn’t work out of. The second time I was given a rental 1500 and told I couldn’t tow. The service advisors are beyond rude and the technicians don’t do a good job to say the least. The ladies in the service department are the only ones that are respectful and helpful but that only goes so far when everybody else in that department doesn’t do anything.
I saw a vehicle for sale on the website and decided to stop by and take a look at it. I was greeted kindly by the salesman. Props to him for being so nice. On the other hand, the vehicle I was going to look at was priced extremely incorrect (Noted by the floor manager?). The salesman spoke with others about it. They said pricing is done outside of the dealership. If all of the other vehicle information is on the website “correctly” for the said vehicle, how is one of the most imports part of the vehicle (Price) entered incorrectly. They claimed it was a typographical error. Look at the fine print on the website. Very dissatisfied in how the conversation went and they just claimed it was a typographical error. Is it a way to get people into the dealership? Who knows. Lost my business for sure.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced at a car dealership in a long time. One of the dealers sent me a truck to come look and test drive and when I get there they tell me there’s too many issues with it to even bring it around front. Why tell me to come then? Will never go back to Jts Dodgeland on Greystone.

I was so frustrated with a noise coming from the front end of my Dodge Journey and it was a tricky noise to identify. I ended up losing my patience and leaving some terrible reviews that I must clear up. The service manager Maria is extremely professional and patient! I became very emotional about not being able to identify what the problem was and she listened to me and immediately came up with a game plan. I mean immediately!!! She was able to provide me with a rental while her technicians did everything they could to diagnose and fix the problem. She talked with my warranty company for weeks to make sure they knew it was extremely important for them to cover the repairs and my rental. She did not let up, did not give up on us, and she kept me updated everyday on everything. She was very nice, professional, and so determined to help me!!! I am impressed with the level of empathy she showed. She made the process very easy for me. She respected I had just started a new job and couldn’t miss a beat so she worked with me 100% and I am so grateful for managers like her that go above and beyond for their customers. If it wasn’t for her, I do not think I would’ve given Dodgeland another chance. I will be continuing my services with this company going forward! Make sure to pay attention to the paperwork. They try to get you to think you will get a great deal on a vehicle, but you wont. We didnt buy and went elsewhere.
We sold our F-150 to Dodgeland based on a Kelly Blue Book online estimate. Chad was the rep that evaluated the truck and made the offer. My expectations were very low but he paid us a very fair price (higher than the KBB offer). Chad made this a quick and painless process. There was a little bit of body damage and he deducted $500 less than an estimate we got from a family friend in the business. I really thought this would be difficult and painful but it was surprisingly fast, easy, and painless.
Top notch customer service by Weston in the service dept, kept me updated during my repairs and got me completed just in time for the weekend.

Its rare to find any car dealership with over a 4 star rating but after doing business with JTs Dodgeland a couple of days ago I give these guys 5 STARS! I live about 70 miles away and I found this dealership because of their GREAT SELECTION and PRICES in Ram trucks. I dealt with Jon Mallard who was super helpful over the phone and in person. No high pressure and no BS games. Right now dealer inventory is dwindling due the chip shortage and some dealers are inflating prices over MSRP but NOT JTs Dodgeland. Jon and the sales team got me into the truck I wanted at a great price and even the Finance office handled my transaction super fast! Kudos to Jon and the sales manager for doing what it took to make this customer completely satisfied. I will be doing more business with this group in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Made an appointment weeks ago told the woman booking it was my only car and I would be waiting for it. Arrived for the appointment was told it would be 150 just to check it and give them a couple of days. I purchased this car here but I will not be purchasing or servicing my car here again.
Our 2014 Jeep Wrangler was losing power while driving through SC on vacation. The check engine light was flashing and we were instructed by roadside assistance not to drive it until we could get it towed. Unfortunately, the closest Jeep dealership was booked until the following week before they could look at our Jeep. So we towed it to JT Dodgeland, where we were greeted by Jes Lawhorn. He informed us 3 fuel injectors were being flagged on the initial diagnostic but could not guarantee his service department would be able to get to it until Friday. Jes called us the next morning to confirm it was a loose wiring connection. His service department reconnected a wiring pin and cleared all of the errors on the final diagnostic. Thank you Jes and your service department for such quick and thorough repairs so we could get home!

Horrible customer service. My car Sat at the dealership for a whole week to be told it was just the battery I had to get a rental car... Now Im out of pocket for what the battery cost dealing with the rental.. There were no call backs. I was transferred to a voice mail everytime And Noone had any answers. And my warranty that I spent 5k on wasnt honored. Terrible services never been treated so bad

I bought a used car at JTs Dodgeland. 1st complaint is all the added fees. Which they did adjust some off, but still more than id like to have paid. Also and check engine light came on 50 miles in. Looks like a thermostat/cooling issue. I know its As Is. I will reach out and see if anything they are willing to help with. Well see.

Super fantastic buying experience!I Located my new 2021 Ram Rebel at JTs Dodgeland of Columbia using the Cars.com app.I then went to their website easily found the truck and was also able to get the value of my 2019 Chevy Silverado Z71 RST for trade in all online. Also took advantage of some great coupons that really payed off!I received a call from Kayla and asked her if it would be cool if I sent her photos of my truck since I lived 2 hours away? She said that would be fine. She then answered several of my questions about the truck. Just to make sure this was the exact one I wanted.She was very knowledgeable and familiar with all the features I was interested in. She then explained that I would be contacted by a product specialist to begin my credit app.I was then contacted by Marcolous and we knocked out the credit app in just a few minutes over the phone.Marcolous called me the next morning and needed a little bit more information to complete my credit app and said he would be in touch soon with their offer.I waited till later in the afternoon and after not hearing from him I decided to call the dealership and unfortunately he was unavailable.I didnt think it was fair to him to ask for another salesperson so I asked to speak to a manager and was put in touch with Eddie.In just a few minutes Eddie had my deal pulled up and asked if he could call me back with the final numbers. Within 5 minutes he called me back and to be honest the amount they gave me for my trade was a lot higher than I thought it would be. But I did click on one of those coupons that said Ill receive 20% more on my trade in and I guess it worked!He then gave me my out the door price to be financed and I agreed! It was great deal!He asked me when I wanted to come in and I told him I could be there in 2 hours. Eddie told me that the truck would be sent to detail and that when I arrived I should ask for Quincy and he would have my paperwork ready.2 hours later I met Quincy within minutes of arriving at the dealership. I looked the truck over and drove it around the parking lot while he inspected my truck. He asked if I was ready for the paperwork and I said absolutely!All the numbers matched up perfectly with the deal that Eddie offered me over the phone and I signed the deal.Quincy offered me a water and we walked outside swapped the tags and the keys while talking about football, cars and trucks.It wasnt long and Quincy came out and took me back to finance to meet with Tara. She apologized for the wait but assured me she would have me on the road in no time. Tara is an absolutely rockstar! She has this desk that is a full LED screen... I mean really it should have a HELLCAT logo on it! Tara nailed my interest rate and had me out of there in about 10 minutes!Quincy walked me out to my brand new 2021 Ram Rebel and even though I was the last customer there and it was very late and everyone had gone home. He took his time to go over all the features of the truck including popping the hood!2 hours later I made it home and my family loves the truck!Thank you to everyone that took part in this deal! Called to make a full price cash offer at open of business on a vehicle but instead info was taken down and told I would receive a call back. Instead I called back again at 1500hrs and asked the operator for the sales manager or general manager not a salesperson and she said nothing once I said that and just put me through to.......a sales person. I then told the salesperson I had asked for a manager and he acknowledged that I had been sent to a salesperson. He then stated he would put me through to one. Another operator or secretary picked up and said they all were in a meeting or tied up and one would call me back. Neither Phone call Back ever took place. So whether you have cash or need financing they really don’t care. Customer service and family owned to them means something totally different to me. That was clearly shown with each and every person I spoke with and their work ethic. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.
My mother purchased a new vehicle in March and she has yet to receive her 2nd key to the vehicle. I have went to the dealership twice to pick it up - and they cant find it. Windows were tinted on site and when the vehicle was picked up there were hand prints all over the windows.
We were on an emergency road trip to see my husbands father. We hit something in the road about 60 miles from JTs. Our lug nut remover broke!!! I called them and they gave me directions and were concerned we wouldnt make it to them.Thankfully we made it!! They were just GREAT. Courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. They even let us keep our pup in the waiting room!! They ended up bringing in a repairman from another location as he was the only person that they thought could do the job properly!!I cant thank you folks enough for all your help and graciousness!! Had a power steering message. Took my car to the service center...the tech was nonchalant and they didnt have any loaner cars in which my warranty covers.I think highly of Dodgeland by last experiences with them are making me reconsidering cutting ties.
Went there to have my vehicle serviced. Initially it would’ve been $150 for the service. Got a call later telling me the part was installed improperly and it would be about $650 for everything to be fixed. I get a call 2 days later telling me my vehicle will be ready by the afternoon and my price would be $1093. I’ve been told they would call before they do any work to let me know the price so now I ended up paying it. 2 days after I picked my vehicle up I had a heavy oil leak in the same area that was serviced. Took it back, quoted me another $1200. I picked my vehicle up and said I would never deal with that service department anymore. Took it to another place and found the oil filter was loose. Waaayyyyyy cheaper than $1200 fix I was quoted. If you want to rip people off try not to make it obvious.
Being told, no matter what, no money down,, poor credit,, we can trade in your car or get you into something better, getting down there and finding out you need money down and a better credit score and payments are going to be sky high

Great staff all around!!! Ben and Quincy are the best in the business! Even though I didnt buy a car from them today...I will be getting one from them in the near future!...NOT!!!...DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SS#!!...I originally gave them 5stars in November 2020...I told them I was going through my own bank for financing... I just found out that they ran my freaking credit through several different financial companies (one including their own)....causing my freaking FICO score to drop!! Again...DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SS#!!!

A great experience and we will be back the next time we need to make a vehicle purchase. The finance manager also was very helpful and the closing process went very smooth. One of the best experiences we have had at a car dealership.
I drove all the way from Georgia to this dealership. Initially everyone was very nice and friendly but after i concluded my purchase, i saw a whole new side of this dealership.First of all, it took almost 2 months before i got my original tags and during the process of trying to reach this dealership on the phone, NO ONE answers the phone, except the sales line and even when they do, they transfer you to another department that never responds. I was hung up on, on countless occasions, i risked being pulled over because my temporary tags were expired! Sarah was the ONLY one that eventually took it upon herself to help. Chuck was the guy that concluded my contract and i was very shocked when he wouldnt even talk to me or even return any of my calls.This was all in February and i thought it would be any different. I went to the dealership here in Georgia to service my car, i was told i dont have no warranty to that effect that i would have to purchase a warranty! I had to pay out of pocket to service a 2018 dodge challenger! Yet again, i called the dealership yesterday and after being hung up on 2 occasions, i called DODGE and they placed me on hold while they attempted to reach this dealership on the phone...guess what, NO ANSWER!I am completely done with this dealership and the fact that i experienced this, even after traveling the distance to make a purchase and still get this kind of treatment, speaks volume about this dealership.The car i bought was my blessing but the experience i had here, was obviously the curse.

**UPDATE** After speaking with the service manager, Maria corrected the service issue and our car has been repaired. The service department compensated us with a dealer provided rental car for two days. Thank you! Grace, Maria, and Kyle made this a much much better service experience.**Worst service I have ever experienced. Buying the car was great. Service was awful. Bought a car with a two year warranty. One week later the trunk faceplate fell off. They refused to fix it. 2 months later, the push button ignition fell back into the dash and I had to remove a panel to start my car. Waited 3 weeks for a service appointment only to find out the appointment is to speak to a service advisor, not to fix the car. Waited on my car at the dealer for 6 hours and it still had not been touched. Dealer would not provide a rental even though I had a warranty. Quick to sell, refuses to warranty their products. Grace in service department did all she could.
Hands down 5 star service to the manager Chris, salesman John, and finances Tara for the smooth start to finish process. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Drove all the way to this dealership in Columbia for a 4runner, after a 4Runner I was supposed to purchase in Pennsylvania was sold right under me to someone else! I’m glad that other dealership fell through because I got a better deal for an even better looking/more decked out 4runner. I couldn’t be more happier. Great people to do business with. Thanks again Chris and John for everything.
I normally do not write a review unless the experience was exceptional. In this case it was. JT Dodgeland of Columbia service department really went above and beyond taking care of my need. Ms. Ty, the office manager is definitely a people-person. She has the perfect customer service persona. I will continue to use them for all my vehicles future services.

I would have given them a 0 stars if i could. The service was terrible. We went in to make a purchase and the salesman looked over our head for most of the conversation. Seeing that they werent interested, we took our business to Wilson Dodge in Winnsboro, SC and got great service. Our salesman was Josh Carte. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a dodge.
Had a apointment they couldnt find key or truck wasted my time what a joke not the salesman fault piss poor management truck should been clean at at front door they message me 5 time confirming my apointment. I never go back they should call it jts jokeland
