I had a Santa Fe that experienced engine failure as a result of the Engine Recall Campaign. I tried taking my car to the Cool Springs dealer with early suspicions of engine knocking, but they sent me on my way saying nothing was wrong. A week later, our car broke down on the interstate. This time I contacted Columbia and immediately answered and owned the whole process from the tow in, processing the recall claim, and installing the new engine. John in the service department provided exceptional customer service and was happy to answer any questions! Highly recommend this team at Columbia!!!

We are from out of state and had to come to Nashville to deal with an emergency medical situation with our college aged daughter. On top of that her Elantra began having serious issues...stalling at lights, minimal acceleration. A local Hyundai dealer did not have time to fix it and referred us to the Columbia dealership. I cannot say enough about John and the rest of his service team. I brought the car on a late Friday afternoon. I was in tears because of everything that was going wrong. John and team were compassionate and understanding and professional. I had no way back to Nashville and they called the local car rental company and arranged a pick up for me. Once the car was fixed they even drove it back to Nashville so that my daughter wouldnt have to arrange a way to get there. Truly exceptional customer service from beginning to end. Our first visit to the Columbia Hyundai for an oil change. We tried the walk-in service and was pleasantly surprised that is took less than an hour while we waited. Very pleasant Service Manager and staff. Definitely will be our new Hyundai dealer.
My spouse and I had been trying to upgrade our vehicle for a few months. Our sales representative was considerate as well as determined to help us. It didnt matter how many attempts or how long it took to get us into a vehicle that was just right for us. Mr. Marshall is cut from a different cloth. He genuinely cares about the people who walk through the doors and is transparent about every possible aspect of the process. We will definitely be back in the future.

The new 2022 Tucson Hybrid is hard to find. David did a masterful job of finding one for us and we were able to do a great trade on our 2019 Tucson. David went over and above to help us with this transaction. The sales and service staff at Columbia Hyundai are top notch. We live in Franklin but drive the extra miles to use this dealership. It is the place to find your new car or have one serviced.

Service was very good, on time, and efficient! I had a few recalls that were done on my car. My only suggestion is that if you want something looked at ask how much it cost, I was charged $138 to look at my trunk button after I picked it up. It was actually a diagnostic test that was ran ( that cost to do apparently)however it wasn’t mentioned in the beginning when I asked about it or I probably would have waited if I knew how much it would cost or was clarified to me that it was an additional charge.

Chris and all the staff at Hyundai of Columbia, service department, are all great, attentive and very courteous. In the 2 years I’ve been taking our Santa Fe there, they’ve never recommended service our car didn’t need. Their very detailed inspection report at every oil change keeps me up to date on what should or shouldn’t be on my “radar” for the future; down to little details like the material thickness left on all the brake pads.

Great experience. Got a oil change and filters did not have to wait. Service was great. Personnel was the best. They were extremely helpful and kind. The facility is very clean and spacious. I had another visit today for my oil change, tire rotation. The service was excellent!! My wait was less than 45 minutes. The restroom was cleaned as if it was my personal bathroom. While waiting I had a choice of snacks and free drinks. The building is so clean, the staff knowledgeable of the service that is offered. If you recommend someone to get a car and they purchase it you get a financial reward. Of course its been a year since I recommended someone, not received anything yet but Mr. Price (the owner) told me he would make sure I get it soon and I believe him!! If you want a good car and qualified mechanics and salesman I truly recommend you shop at Columbia Hyundai tell them I recommend you😀😀. Perhaps I will get my gift then!!
Got a good price on a Ram. Salesman was good but I experienced 2 flaws.1. Gas tank was on E and had to get almost $90 in gas after I left the lot, salesman just kinda giggled about it when I told him when I was leaving.2. The biggest issue was the battery was dead. Service cleaned it (not really, I had to clean when I got home) and thought they were putting in new battery. Nope tried to leave and dead. After waiting another 30 minutes a tech came out and finally replaced it.Besides that I’m happy with purchase so far. 4*’s

Great service, their website in incredibly helpful, and the vehicle you get is good quality for a good price!We came here after having a horrible experience at a Greenway dealership in Florence, AL. We had a great experience here, and even with computers going down while we were there, we were able to buy our truck within a very reasonable time.The salesman we worked with was honest & upfront about anything we asked. He never took offense to me double checking information. He never tried to push us to get something we didnt need. He listened to our concerns and list of needs in a truck. I cant find where I wrote his name down. He is a salesman, but he said he usually deals with their technical needs.We, also, met with the owner. He was there to help sort out all the stuff with the computers being down. He was knowledgeable and efficient in finalizing our purchase the old way. Even with a stressful morning, he was kind & answered my questions about bills overlapping.

For a month or so Ive taken my time looking for a good 4WD vehicle for my hunting guide business. Mr. Jose Suarez has patiently assisted me in finding the right rig -- no pressure, just courteous, professional, and attentive service. Hes the reason I bought a Jeep from Hyundai -- which once I found what I was looking for, took only about 30 minutes from test drive to paperwork. It was a quick and painless process -- and you cant say that about some dealerships.
I bought this BMW from Hyundia of Columbia. I drove an hour to see it because of the great reputation they have. Never would I expect a new car dealer to not do a thorough inspection on all used vehicles before selling them. Below is the text I received from my salesman regarding a brake service required message that I got the next day.Also, I already had my financing lined up, with my CU, pre-approved letter in hand. I explained that I was not interested in the dealers finance options because we are in the process of a new mortgage and I did not want another hard pull on my credit. The dealer was on the list from my CU and I completed the credit app (as part of the paperwork required by the CU) after being assured that my credit would not be pulled by the dealer. That day I received notices that Hyundia of Columbia hard does a hard pull of my credit.

It was my first time there. It wont be my last. They were quick, courteous and great to deal with. My oil change and tire rotation was half of what it cost me in Alabama. They have a great waiting room. Cold drinks and coffee were supplied. I will be using them again.
I arranged to purchase a truck from this dealership via telephone because I live 4 hours away. As a part of the purchase, I was going to trade in my paid off vehicle. Originally I was offered 8500 for my trade in. After talking back and forth and sharing photos of my vehicle it was agreed that I would receive 10,000 for my trade. I drove almost 300 miles to the dealership and the manager test drove my truck. After test diving my truck, he tried saying my transmission was having issues (nothing is wrong with my transmission). I gave him his keys, took mine and left the dealership. I then get a call saying they will give me 8500 for my trade since I drove so far. I declined and we ended our conversation. I then received three more calls from various employees asking me to come back to the dealership for the original deal. I drove my truck another 300 miles home (with no transmission problems). Out of State BUYERS BEWARE!! I believe they thought I would settle for less on my trade because, I traveled so far. If something was truly wrong with my transmission, I would have returned to the dealership when they offered me the original trade in price again. (Also my salesperson Carlos knew for several hours that I was on the way to the dealership. The truck I test drove only had enough gas in it for me to go a VERY short distance. The coolant level was low, the engine was muddy and the oil looked like it needed to be changed. I understand it was a used vehicle but these are things to look at when buying a used truck.). Carlos never asked me what I thought about the truck after my short test drive. All they cared about was trying to squeeze some extra money out of my trade.
Being a first time car buyer is usually scary and very nerve wrecking but at Hyundai Columbia they made the process so easy and simple. They made me feel comfortable and explained things very well to where I could understand the whole process. They even took the time out of their extremely busy day to find a location that would finance the car I chose for a cheaper price that was in my budget. My experience at Hyundai of Columbia with Damien our sales rep was a 10/10. I would give him a 12 if I could. The selection is way above anyone else in the 200 mile radius. I have been looking for a couple months and this selection was amazing. We arrived an hour before closing and they stayed until 10 pm to make the deal go through. I will definitely use them again in the future!!!

Extremely disappointed with my dealings at Hyundai of Columbia. First I will say my sales rep Jonathan was very helpful up front. I found a work truck online and contacted the dealership for info. The rep sent extra pics and videos. Unfortunately in the pics you see online of a 2017 F-250 with steel bed do not show the amount of damage there is to this truck. After several conversations on the phone and messages I was persuaded to drive 3 hours to test and purchase the truck. Not one time was it disclosed that the truck should be totaled for the amount of hail damage. It looked like a golf ball. Not one tire matched on the truck, and there were caps broken in the engine compartment. I am not sure how it would make it through a service dept. After traveling across the state, the story changed and the helpfulness changed to lies to still try and get the deal done. Buyer Beware!

It was a busy place. Everyone was as nice as they could be. Bought a 2016 F350SD Lariat dually. The price was fair and seem to be a good truck. I was impressed with the number of vehicles on their lot. It took a little wait on getting the truck cleaned up but other than that thing moved right along. I would buy another vehicle from them. As a matter of fact I am thinking about buying a Santa Fe soon.

I bought my 2021 Palisade at Hyundai of Columbia. Absolutely love it! The dealership took care of everything. After some minor body work, I had to bring my car in for a minor repair after a sensor had to be re-calibrated. The waiting area was very nice with free drinks and snacks available. After staying 2 hours waiting, they sent us home in a very nice rental. They brought my car back to my home the next morning, fixed and in perfect condition. I received a call that I needed to take care of my balance. I wasnt given a bill the day they brought my car back, but that was no problem. I asked the gentlemen if my husband could call and pay it by phone. (We live 1 hour away.) They said that would be fine. My husband called to pay the bill, and the person on the other line was rude. The person even hung up on him. All he was trying to do was to pay the bill. Overall, we have had wonderful service with Hyundai of Columbia. My husband was a little disgruntled and felt that 3 or 4 rating was sufficient due to that incident. Im sure the gentlemen on the dealership side was just having a bad day.
David Peirce did an excellent job and very professional, have not had anyone treat us so well. Most dealers are all about what they want not about the customer. May God bless him and your dealership.
