I love to work with local businesses, and think everyone should try. But I also think local businesses need to act like a personable local business rather than a big box store if theyre going to charge more.I could get past the lack of negotiability on price in exchange for fabulous customer service during the sale.But I didnt get that, so I bought my lenses here to feel good for buying local, since its pricing was the same everywhere; but had to purchase the camera someplace else.Heres the deal:The feeling I get for buying local isnt worth $100 extra to me. $50 maybe. But not $100.
Very disappointed the people at the store in Columbia MO refused to help me with my camera problem. I just asked if they could put a charge on a camera battery for me, to determine whether or not buying a camera battery charger would work for my needs. They wanted to sell me a charger first, but with a supposed return policy. (do they really return opened electronic items for full cash refund? I bet not.)I will buy NOTHING from you, now.
