This company knows what they are doing and have all the bases covered. Pictures do not do it justice. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From design, to installation, electrical, plumbing and tiling - its a one-stop shop and they are meticulous, customer focused perfectionists. We took a totally unworkable kitchen (1st picture) and turned into one of the best kitchens weve ever had. Totally functional, everything just fits and works like it should. Highly, highly recommend Dimensions In Wood.
I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Dimensions in wood. Not only were the DIW staff professional but their artistry and craftsmanship was second to none. Our process started with Maryann giving us a design that checked every box plus some. We were looking for a way to separate our kitchen from the living room and breakfast area while maintaining the open concept. What Maryanne designed was beyond what I even thought was possible. After the design, the install team took over and again, the quality of the work and the attention to detail was exceptional. Adam led the construction effort and was the picture of patience as he listened to our endless questions and on-the-fly changes. Darren installed the cabinets, was extremely friendly and obviously took great pride in his work – it shows. As the project began to draw to a close, we became close personal friends with Jim who took care of all of the final details and made sure everything was perfect! I know I haven’t mentioned everyone who worked on our project but suffice to say that they were all great. We could not be happier with the end product! On a side note, we have lived through a difficult remodel with a different company and I would be remiss if I did not mention that the DIW team made the entire process extremely easy. They started by providing bins to store all of our kitchen and bar items while the remodel took place. They then began work and kept the cleanest work site I have ever seen. DIW installed the kitchen sink and had temporary counter tops installed while the quartzite was being templated and cut, so we experienced only minor inconvenience during the entire remodel process. The fact that we were able to use our kitchen during the several weeks we had to wait for the counter tops was great. Our overall experience was great. The quality of the cabinetry and the professionalism of the staff are second to none! I highly recommend Dimensions in Wood.
We had a long oak trestle table which we were told came from a monastery in Europe, from the 1400s. My father in law put it back together in California, and soaking it, and weighting it down with a railroad rail, tried to use the CA sun to finally bring down one plank which was permanently bowed; he did a wonderful job, but over time, it continued to warp upward. We use that table like a sawhorse, cut patterns, assemble furniture, whatever we want in addition to eating on it 3xday. Years ago, I left a jar of OFF insect repellent on it onight, and it dripped and ate away the varnish, never to be rubbed out with Old English Polish. Besides that, we had begun to wear off the marine spar varnish which Grandpa applied, it was looking pretty ragged. You should see it now, the warped plank is brought into alignment, the finish looks and feels like brown satin, and will be very durable, even to put wet glasses upon (we wipe it down after each meal). The price for the job was less than I feared, and I am so very happy with their care. The guys who worked on it told me of their appreciation for the ancient wood grain. Our complete admiration and appreciation for their work.
If you are looking for a company that is passionate about their trade these guys are second to none. They take pride in all aspects of the project and have some of the best craftsman around. They are an excellent company to work with!
High quality, detailed craftsmanship! The best ever!
