Great place to grab some gear and look around. Picked up a survival manual and a few stickers. The uniforms and boots are a bit overpriced compared to base, but its tailored to civilians as well as military so i can understand. Great selection of armor and accessories anyone could use. Id highly recommend you check them out

Its a really nice store. But its really only boots and uniforms. But they had a decent selection of plate carriers.

Clerk was clueless about drill sergeant badges and no female DS hat emblems at all!!! Crooked badges not sewn in line with pocket pattern lines and name tapes and rank sewn over velcro is clearly visible! Worst work I’ve ever seen! I caught it too late and photos are tomorrow! They schedule the pickups to be after 1800 but they close the alterations section then so they can’t fix it the same day if something is wrong. Rude employees! Go to magic alterations!

I needed some boots (steel tow) for H8 school bc I ordered the wrong one’s. Ms Jordan Scott and Ms Shirley Craft, helped me exchanged them. I mean soon as I told them I needed the boots they went to work to get me those boots in my size. They went above and beyond to ensure those boots be on my feet when it was time for me to fly to Iowa. From making calls to Shaw Af base to calling warehouses to find them. They got them Next Day Air through UPS. I really appreciated them taking their time to ensure I left a satisfied customer. The staff was also great we had casual conversation while I was waiting. The customer service there is like no other. I will not buy my military boots anywhere else. Thanks for taking care of my needs before your own. Forever a customer. Thanks again

Pricey pricey pricey. Not sure how much longer until service members no longer have to pay two limbs for less than half a uniform.

Their business hours shows they close at 6pm. I arrived at 5:40 pm and the tailor is gone for the day? No thanks.

The staff was super friendly and very patient. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help every customer they encountered including myself. This was the best experience I have ever had while trying to get gear for work. The asst manager Ms Shirey(I believe her name was) was outstanding and did everything in her power to get me set. I will be going back. 5 star establishment with 5 star employees.

I made a purchase almost a year ago from their website, when I recieved my item I realized that I did not specify my title. Well, COVID happened and I kinda forgot about getting this fixed. I went into the local store outside of Fort Jackson, totally prepared to pay for fixing this issue which was an oversight by me, but after explaining what happened to Shirley, the Assistant GM, she told me they would fix the issue for free and they totally did. I really appreciated this. They went the extra mile for me when they really didnt have to. To me that is great customer service. She was super courteous and really listened to my story so she could understand the issue and help me.Also I have called the online sales before and they wete extremely helpful. Thank you all again. You have definitely made a customer for life.

Shay specifically was very intentional and thoughtful with walking me through alterations with the best price!!! She is brilliant and kind. And Roz pristinely prepared my altered uniform for the best impression possible. She even helped me clean up the frills so selflessly!! I love them!!!! So thankful for this place.

I highly recommend Jordan and Shirley. They are professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Our kid was having trouble finding the proper and correct fitting boot. We drove 90 miles to this US Patriot location in Columbia and spent 2 hours trying on boots. Jordan and Shirley made the experience highly positive. We would drive the 90 miles again just to have assistance from this staff.

I had an issue with my Oakley boots ripping at the seams. After contacting Oakley corporate, getting the runaround and referral to the 90 day policy I contacted the local store. The staff and managers were more than happy to do anything they could to accommodate me since I was deployed and had the boots roughly for 90 days without a receipt. I cannot say enough nice things about these people who understood and helped me.

They have the best boot selection around. The staff was friendly too. I recommend going there if you need a campaign hat press or carrying case or a new pair of boots. The also have a barber shop in store too!

Im giving an one star rating due to the haircut area. If you want to wait 30-45 minutes and on a time crunch do not go there. First time I went, was busy which is understandable, but the one cutting hair did not wait for his replacement and he left, leaving one person to cut hair then which I left. Second time I went, sat and waited, was one ahead of me. Waited 20-25 minutes, barber would cut and then stop for a few minutes to talk then cut again. Then I got up and left. Do not waste your time getting a haircut there. Unfortunately I hate to say it I think they maybe a little racist which is sad to say.

I usually go here to visit the barbershop which is amazing. It is located in the back of the store and the staff always greet you when you walk in. The store is very clean and bright and easy to navigate. They have everything you need for your military uniforms and they are great at it. Plus theres a cute blonde that works there with a great smile. Win, win situation!! :)

I got an excellent goatee trim. It had not been trimmed since march, due to the virus.

US Patriot has three things: a barber shop, alterations, and a gear store.On the barber shop:I used to go once a month for about six months to US Patriot for the barber shop, and initially, it was good. My first visit was to a black dude with dreadlocks (apologies, dont know his name), who gave me the best cut Ive ever had in my life. The next month I went, some random dude gave me a horrible cut, which I felt worthy of a beatdown, but I knew my hair would grow back, so I left it alone. The next two months I went to a lady, and she did a fair job. Next month, I went back and the second dude cut my hair again, same quality worthy of a throttling. The last month I went, I went to a bald guy, who did a decent job, but nothing like the initial black dude with dreadlocks.Why this long-winded story? I believe quality and establishing a relationship with your clients, especially in a visual service, should be explained as thoroughly as possible. I didnt go back after the last visit since I couldnt consistently get the same service.Alterations:Never had to use this service, but I perused their selection, and knowing what military dudes use, this portion of the shop is great. All the badges, tabs, and patches one would need.Gear store:This is primary reason for the store being in existence, and I have a much shorter take on it.I bought items that I wanted to return, and it was an easy process to return them. Staff is distantly friendly, but pleasant.

Taylor was awesome!!! I was in a huge hurry and called ahead to make sure they’d be open. Taylor gathered all the things i needed so when i arrived, i just double checked and paid! It was so easy and she’s the best.

I love this place! There is such a large variety of different military insignia and some clothing. They carry various different types of field gear and footwear. Their morale patches are definitely a sight to see. LOL

Its an interesting story filled with the usual military stuff. They do a good job sewing on name tapes and they have a nice selection of tactical Gear, knives, camelbaks, you name it anything you need military related you can find it here. The people Behind the Counter are very friendly too so definitely a top notch experience....

I just got a garment bag embroidered by Mrs. Shay at the U.S. Patriot Tactical store on 5560 Forest Drive, right by Fort Jackson main gate. Mrs Shay wad so patient and really took time to make sure I got what I wanted. She did an amazing job and I will definitely come here again.

A tactical guys paradise! I walked in to check out the base layer clothing and had a conversation with an employee that struck me as a manager or owner but I wasnt sure. He was obviously a great people person and I showed him a new bracelet that I had gotten recently that doubles as a tool and he was so interested in it that he said that he wanted to offer it in his store as soon as he could get them. I just had an over all great customer experience here and I can promise you that I will have many more trips here and will recommend this to my entire family and friends! Go check these guys out!

Pretty decent selection of tactical gear that is a cut above standard GI equipment. Stuff can be expensive but its definitely for those who want to make long term gear upgrades

The tailors/seamstresses really went out of their way to help me as an out of town visitor. Shay specifically took her own time to rush something for me for no reason besides the goodness of her heart and a clear commitment to customer service from the whole alterations department. Promote both those ladies ahead of peers! ;)

Barbershop takes forever. Went two weeks ago. One barber there. Waited almost an hour to get hair cut. There was no one in front of me besides the guy in the chair. Just straight convo the entire time between the two with very little actual work being done. Then the barber left and went to lunch, not a word was said to me.

Great supply of different things. Store is bright and clean fairly well stocked. Staff is very friendly!!

Barbers talk and watch football more than they cut someones hair. You better expect a 30 min to an hour wait even when they have 3 barbers and only 3 people waiting. Also do not go to the fat guy with the beard that snores while he cuts your hair. He is terrible at fades. I asked for a low and clearly got one much higher and it looked terrible.

2 stars for their customer service but overall I have been very disappointed with my experiences here. Their alterations is slow. It took them a week to do a sewing job. That same job was done the next day, utilizing the alterations store on Fort Jackson. They left their chalk lines in my uniforms, very unprofessional. To top it off the name tapes didnt remotely match my OCP top. I brought it up and was told There is nothing we can do about it!👎🏾

Great costumer service but the barbershop is terrible been here for an hour and theres only been on barber. Then when the second barber got here the first barber took a break after he cut someone hair so I dont recommend the barber

Great service, barber shop cuts great hair as well. The only reason why I would not give it 5 stars is because it takes to long to get a haircut. The barbers are great but there would be a long line with 3 barbers, but then the other are just chilling for 10 to 15 minutes before taking someone.

The alteration staff was inattentive, rude, and nasty. I took in my fiancé’s shirts to be altered and when I asked about the turnaround time, the older one snapped at me. When I came to pick up the shirts, the younger one just stared at me without greeting me or saying anything. Overall, a very uncomfortable and unacceptable experience.

I would like to say thank you to your Employe, I think her name was Shelley. She went out of her way last night, to make sure my Son was back at Fort Jackson !Her main concern was, that my son that just graduated would not be late and get in trouble .We called a cab at 5 p.m. from your Store and the cab never showed up . At 6:50 Shelley said she was driving us on post . She moved the havey carseat stepped in a big puddle and got her feet wet and took My son, myself, sister and my husband back to the battalion . Im writing this, because I want you all to know and understand how grateful we are for what she has done . she didnthave to do this, we are complete strangers and she went beyond to help. I loved how she explained the company Us patriot and that it was Vetran owned and that everyone is a family or also has family members work for the company. And at the end she didnt want no money for gas, all she asked for, is for us NOT to forget U.S. Patriot .We are on our way back to Guam and we want to say, WE WILL NOT FORGET YOU SHELLEY and the Company !God bless you!
