I am so thankful for the awesome customer service, professionalism, and empathy Megan showed from start to finish with my service. I was so frustrated I had been recommended to 3 other repair shops and no one could help. I called and got her knowledgeable and friendly voice on the phone. She offered me a ride home and back to the shop once repairs were done. I was equally impressed with Darryl when he called to let me know what the issue with my car was, explained where I could understand and did so in a timely manner. I am impressed with Broad River Auto Repair and will most definitely patron them again.

I highly recommend this family-owned business to anyone. I live in Maryland, but I was in Columbia, SC to pick up my daughter from college, when my Suburban blew the water pump. Paul, Ernie and Megan did everything they could to replace the water pump at a fair price. This business is a gem! I used to be a mechanic 25 years ago, and I am very critical of anyone who works on my cars. These folks were incredible to work with and they are fair. They saved our vacation! Driving down to Savannah, GA we heard a horrible noise and had to pull off the highway. Lucky we were very close to Broad River Auto Repair, I called and they said they could take a look. So happy with Paul, our technician, he found the issue, showed us and gave us options. In just a couple of hours we were back on the road. Its horrible when your vehicle develops issues on vacation because you dont know the area, we were so lucky to find them! Very thankful to them. I took my car there for service for the first time. I had just put uber on my phone and for some reason it didnt work properly. The lady in the office (Megan) I think was her name. Gave me a ride home and back. Very reasonable and took care of me and my car!!

I do most maintenance on my vehicles but when there’s a problem I can’t handle this is the only shop I’ll go to. The technicians have decades of experience, they always do excellent work, they never start work without checking with the customer first and the price that they quote you is the price that you pay...and most important of all, they truly see their customers as their number 1 asset.

The staff at BRA are wonderful to work with. Quality work is all you get from them. I have know them for 20 years and I never had to go back for work they done on my fleet vehicles or personal truck. If you take your vehicle somewhere else then you are not getting the best service there is to get on vehicle repairs or service.

Excellent service.I have now been to them three times. Brake job, windshield wiper transmission replaced, and AC fixed. They are always professional, fast, and do excellent work. They are honest, and their prices are fair. I highly recommend!

Extremely Nice Staff. Had my truck towed there after it broke down on us on our family roadtrip.We were 200 miles away from home. They turned a fustrating situation into a convenient one. Between Broad River and AAA I couldnt have stayed sane without them! They kept me informed and allowed me to hold my truck there until I was able to arrange for pick-up. Thanks again!

Ernie was very knowledgeable and explained everything so we can understand what was wrong with my Kia. And he also said we should take it back to the Kia dealership because the problem would be covered under the Kia warranty. Very honest very good people.

I have my major maintenance work completed here. I do the minor work myself. The owner does honest quality work, at honest prices. I have never called for a quote like the other reviews, so I can not speak for that aspect of this business. I went there from a referral from a friend. In person the owner is quote personable, professional and polite. I would imagine all mechanics get lots of calls a day asking for quotes that lead no where. The waiting room is basic and clean, with free coffee. Also when ever I have dropped off a car they have usually had a full bay (good sign to me).

Broad River Auto Repair is the best repair shop around. They always do great work at fair prices! The staff and owners are excellent honest people. I would and do recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to have their vehicle repaired.

We broke down yesterday after buisiness hours trying to evacuate Myrtle Beach with our six kids. Im so thankful if it had to happen it happened near Broad River Auto! Ernie went the extra mile to get our truck fixed and get us back on the road by the time we had to check out of our hotel. Yesterday, Don did an awesome job giving us a tow and stopping by the hotel to let us unpack stuff for the night. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you!

Ive been bringing our cars here as long as weve lived in the Columbia area. Its a small, honest shop where 2 of the 3 full time mechanics are co-owners.

Ernie and his guys are top notch. We take our personal and commercial vehicles to them anytime we have problems. They give you details on whats wrong and pricing for repair.

Got my truck serviced here, Great crew and fast. I will be returning if I need auto care.
