Paid $945 for tires and came back in 6 months for a rotation and they told me I wasn’t in the system and I had to pay! Absolutely ridiculous I showed the receipt that I have. Had to pay 56$ to the richest store on 🌍 earth

All of the automotive folk very knowledgeable and helpful to all their customers July 6, 2018. I observed interactions with all of them. KUDOS🤗But alas, Walmart corporate inventory lacked their best selling platinum AGM series batteries. And their MAXX H7 lead acid batteries were more costly than their own superior Platinum AGMs. Recommend corporate interview the knowledgeable folks working at Two Notch

This section of the store is serious under-staffed. There should be at least 2 full-time cashiers always there, and at least 1 automotive staff member for auto care always stationed at this desk - and not moving away from desk, to take in automotive customers.The people here are all nice and friendly but being under-staffed can lead to frayed nerves. And this can be seen when dealing with some rude customers.Also, their waiting room is a joke - I have seen walk-in closets that were larger. This one seats 6 on a good day but not if anyone has kids with them. Many customers have no choice but to stand around outside the room or in automotive area since most wont walk around the store to alleviate crowding.Walmart should seek to enlarge the automotive department into another wing, like Sears, with a larger waiting room. The Walmart at Clemson & I-77 is a perfect example of this - Large waiting area, and 3 cashiers desks for checkout separate from automotive check-in.Service here is excellent. Many employees have been here for years! (At least 12 years I have gone there). Oil changes rarely take 30 minutes per car (they have 2 lines for oil changes!) - but your wait may be longer depending on how many cars are waiting. The clean out your car mats and even seem to check your fluids. (Not really certain about this).That being said, Wait times are shorter at beginning of the week and Huge at end of work week and Saturdays. Of course, it is also worse on biweekly paydays (1st &15th?).The only downside to going here is that some of the adult customers are rude or lacking in good manners - I have seen some incidents over the years that really surprised me, by both White and African-American customers.The majority are nice, respectful people and are treated quite well by even the lowest of employees. It may be just a job to them to some but these people enjoy their work and it shows. They even have women working on cars who have been there for years and are more experienced than some male car workers at pro shops. No sales pressure here!So unless you are up to no good, you will enjoy having your tires or oil replaced here. But BEWARE - If you start any trouble or come here to cause a problem, the Columbia Police are only 2 minutes away! (Usually stationed at the school across the street!)

God bless the guys sole who fixed my tire didn’t catch his name. My tire popped in the I-95 and Columbia was the closest city to me, drove near 100miles to get a fix. End up getting in at 6pm New Year’s Eve, everything is closed or closing. After getting denied at Audi and Nissan I drive into Walmart. They just closed too but the guy agreed to fix our tire and help us out not leaving us stranded in New Year’s Eve. Really really thank full. Great end to 2018.

Lacked communication between customers and employees. I waited at the customer service desk 30 minutes before anyone came. I then had ask them to check on my car which I knew was ready. They didnt have enough people available for whatever the reason. I feel that the service desk should never be unattended for more than 5 minutes at the most!!

Needed a new battery installed. The folks both at the counter and in the bay were very helpful! While they couldnt locate the battery in the store at Camdens Walmart they did find the Spring Valley Walmart did have it. We were in and out w anew battery in less than an hour! Thanks for the help!

Come on folks... You have an elderly couple traveling, flat tire from road construction. And you wouldnt help by getting them in. They had to get a hotel.This location always packed busy waiting in lines, waiting for parking. Just not worth it in my opinion

Terrible experience. The assistant manager refused to switch a defective battery they had sold me 5 month ago. I had to ask to speak with the store manager just to get some professionalism. Then he warned me this was the last time. What? If I buy a battery from Walmart with a warranty and it doesnt work, IM GOING TO BRING IT BACK! Just 5 months ago the other assistant manager accused me of stealing the exact same battery after he saw me pay for it and then followed me as I walked through the store to the parking lot. Ridiculous for me or any other customer to be profiled and judged while buying merchandise from Walmart. The slogan for them should be, Cheap prices, cheaper service.

Terrible customer service even with a 50% discount. I rather be serviced by a place that is truthful and owns up to their mistakes than one that tries to cover it up with lies. How are they going to tell me they werent the last ones to work on my car when I have the receipt on me?!?! They damaged a part on my car that disabled them to do the oil change unless it was replaced. So I had to repeat it was them who damaged it and I wont be paying for it. All that arguing when they couldve said ok and just replace it so I could get my oil change right then and there. All that waste of time when they fixed it anyways.

I was there at 10 44 am and the service on my car start until 13:00,because technicians start going on lunch break at 11:30 am and only 2 people was there,and if you go first, it doesnt mean that youre going to be first on the line.very upset.

DO NOT USE WALMART TO SERVICE YOUR CAR!!! I used to use them all the time for an oil change but every time I have taken a carthere over the last year or two they find a new reason why they CANT OR WONT change my oil! Todays reason your car is tickingDuh I need an oil change and lube!!!
