NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR GLASS! My glass had a chip in it and I called my insurance company and advised them and they gave me a list and ace was the first one so i went with them. BIGGEST MISTAKE. the guy came out to replace the windshield and after the trim around the glass was damaged so bad. it honestly looked like a 4 year old did the work. i reported the damaged to them and they tried to file another claim with my insurance company saying i didnt like the way the trim looked. NO IT WAS DAMAGED. then they tried to say it was already dry rioted...my car is only 7 years old. i have had windshields replace in car that were in the 90s and didnt look this bad! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND.

Excellent customer service! Needed 2 glass shelves cut for a china cabinet. They cut them, burnished the edges, & had them ready within 30 minutes. Their prices were great, and they were so friendly. We’ll be doing a new shower enclosure & mirrors for our master bath, and they have exactly what we need - we’ll be going back to them!

Ace glass was quick and efficient when they replaced our glass after a break in.

I dont begrudge a company charging a premium to do a good job, but there is a difference between making an honest living and taking advantage of people. Ace tried to charge me $220 to replace a 2 sq. ft. window pane. I did it myself for $10, including buying the glass, cut at Lowes. It took me less than 10 minutes. What on earth was going to cost so much to have Ace install it? I could have replaced the whole window for $200. If the job wasnt worth your time, you should have just said so, instead of sticking it to me and hoping I lack the sense to question it.

If you have a sedan, be careful pulling in. Parking lot not small car friendly, you will bottom out. As for service, I frequently buy from them. Usually, my order is on point. My advice, if you request edges of glass to be sanded, make sure they actually sand it.

Can’t recommend Ace Glass enough- a great local company who cares about their customers. I don’t “review” companies often, but I like supporting local businesses, especially those who go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. Ace installed glass shelving and mirrors at our wet bar. We had something unexpected come up, but Ace made sure it was handled it and the finished product looks great!!

ACE GLASS COMPANY does far more things well than everyone realizes. They have the very best customer service representatives anywhere! I came by to have the driver side window regulator and motor replaced. The lady who had talked to me on the phone came out of the front door to greet me when I had just parked my car, and handled everything both efficiently and nicely. Inside while looking around, I talked to the other ladies who manage different parts of the business. They were also very nice and treated me like a valued customer. Im coming back again and again.

No show for an estimate that was scheduled between1-4pm. I called the very next morning to follow up and they claimed they already came out to take a look at my windows🪟 since I had marked them with blue tape. Kinda hard to do since one of the windows is on second floor 🤔. A representative called me today (several days later) wanting reschedule, she had an attitude and was quick to say she checked a gps to confirm that someone indeed came out at supposedly 1045 and how nobody came to my door.That makes perfect sense that nobody came to the door at 1045, my appointment was between 1-4. Left to come home from work for nothing😡. Glad my realtor referred me to another glass company because they came out to my home on time, gave me a reasonable estimate and ordered windows for me.

One star is over gracious. Customer service staff very nice but NOT ONE person working there had on a mask, including the tech working on my car. Not only did you create an unhealthy place for me to do business but you simply wasted my time. The chip in my windshield is still visible and what a lazy technician. I understand that my windshield replacement is a bit more complicated in that there are cameras in it but you should be smart enough to know that cracks in windshield as not acceptable by state law! You lied to me and told me that State Farm wanted me to try your poor job first, NOT true. I am going to another company who will do this right. Dont lie to me, dont waste my time and take care of yourself and your customers. Irresponsible!!!

Ace is not a good place to go years ago they use to be good but not now they are rip offs they wanted to charge me $75.00 to check for a water leak and twice they told me it wasnt a glass issue I took my car to another glass company they replace it . And it was a glass issue my insurance company took care of it I paid nothing

This company provides excellent customer service and results. We are first time customers with an emergency request. Even though their schedule was booked for days, they made it their mission to help us through rebuilding a shower enclosure in order to ensure we were able to close on the house on time. We had 3 broken windows in our home under construction/renovation. They had go to the house 4 different times to measure, were back and forth on how the windows would need to be fixed, windows versus units, and it took 6 months to finally get them installed. Then, the install work was terrible. They had to use old stops from previous windows, which required cutting them to proper length and instead, they used the stops that were too short and broke one with zero attempt at fixing it . They proceeded to increase our bill by $300, charged our card BEFORE we signed off on the work or knew what the cost difference would be, and refused to acknowledge or correct the problem. Do not recommend!

This Family owned company, has always been easy to deal with and gets the job done right! I recently needed a windshield replaced in my Dodge Ram from a rock hit on the HWY. They handled all the insurance for me and came to my home to replace the glass. They were even at my house a little early from their scheduled arrival time!

Ace Glass Company is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. The customer service was absolutely horrible. I ordered a piece of plexiglass on Monday. They advised that it would be ready Tuesday morning and they would contact me. Never received a call. I contacted them around noon and they stated that the employee was cutting the glass now and it would be ready Wednesday and that they would call me. Thursday comes no call. I give it sometime and call Friday and they advised it would not be ready until Monday. I asked why I was told the glass was already cut and if it were possible they could give me a discount due to the poor customer service and almost a week turnaround. I was put on hold and advised to be there by 5 and it would be ready but no discount nor did anyone apologize. I then called back to advise that we would be running a little late just to confirm that someone would be there. An employee continued to cut me off stating I needed to be there by five and hung the phone up in my face after I asked her severaltimes to please listen to what I was trying to tell her. My friend was there by 5:10 and the glass was still not ready. The glass was not ready until 5:30. I asked for a refund due to the poor customer service. At first they advised they would only give me half of the payment. After debating with them they finally gave me a full refund. I would never ever recommend this company to ANYONE.

One of the most disappointing experiences Ever dealing with the Ace Glass Co on August Highway in Lexington S.C.!! On my first visit to get a simple 16x20 piece of glass cut, I was told that no one cuts glass there after 8:00A.M., I should hop on the Highway And go to the Two Notch Rd. location( at least 20- 25 miles down construction ridden I20)! I declined that option and asked when I could expect the glass to be cut at this location. She had no clue. I then asked for a written quote for a non - glare 16X20 piece of glass. Later that day we got a call from another employee saying the quote was wrong & the cost would be over $50.00 ! We could get regular glass not non glare for the quote, and she didnt know when it would be ready either ( Most companies would honor a written quote).I called the next day to ask if my glass could be ready by Friday as i would be in town that day and her reply was rather curt I Said Id call you I have your numbers ! No call . I retrieved my frame (which I wish I hadnt left) and got the glass cut at another nearby location where the staff were friendly, polite, & on the ball . Oh, And by the way, my glass was ready in 5 minutes !

Excellent service center for windshield repairs. My other truck had a piece of loose trim on the top edge. In & out approximately 20-30 minutes. (From the time I arrived til the time I departed). Great people!! :)

Great Customer Service. Great work. I called 2 other places to have my glass front door replaced. One place rescheduled me 3 times. one place never showed. Ace showed up when they said they would and kept all commitments. They even cleaned up the little pieces of broken glass that were left. Amazing Service.

This was our first experience with having a windshield replaced. I spoke with Linda at Ace Glass to set up the appointment for a technician to come out to my job. She was such a pleasant young lady and so very helpful! The Ace Glass technician, Russell, called me the next day before he came out to my office to let me know he was on his way; instead of just showing up... I watched the entire process and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. He was very professional and did an excellent job!I would definitely recommend Ace Glass on Two Notch Road. Thanks to Linda and Russell for making it such a positive experience for us!

Had an excellent experience here. I needed custom glass shelving and every other glass company called said it would be 7 to 10 days for delivery. I ordered yesterday morning and they were ready for pickup this morning, all at the price quoted (no rush charge). Thanks for all your help!!!!

Horrible customer service. Jobs are left half finished no communication with customers. Office staff poorly trained and not customer friendly. In good faith we can not recommend this business.

I needed the glass replaced in an excavator so I took them the window frame at 12. They measured it and gave me a price which was way higher than everyone else but they were close to where I was and said they could have it done by 5. The price they gave me was 240 and they wanted a 200 deposit which I thought was odd but I gave it to them anyway. When I got there at 4:55 they hadnt even touched the window and said they could have it done Monday. When I asked about what time they could have it done Monday a young lady who I wasnt talking to yelled out we cant give you a time but itll be done Monday. So I promptly asked for my window and deposit back. I dont mind if someone cant get something done but dont tell me you can and then not even attempt to get it done. Dont waste your time going here. Theyre over priced, rude and wont do what they say theyll do.

These guys really know their business, and they go above and beyond. I was well past upset by the damage caused by an asphalt dump truck when I took my new car in to them. They got everything right again much more quickly than I would have imagined. Thanks!

They came out jan 27 to measure a window over my bathtub. two weeks later they came back and couldnt install the window because they said it was the wrong size. remeasure and said they would get it right away. came yesterday march 1 and installed the window. I will show you the picture. I called today and mark said he would call me right back to schedule someone to come out and look at it. that was almost two hours ago.

Worst customer service Ive ever encountered. Do not waste your time, money, or energy on this disorganized, unprepared, unhelpful business. Details below...Ordering/Install Problems:I contacted Ace Glass in February 2019 to install a doggie door in my glass patio door and was told this could be accomplished in 2 weeks: 1 week for a new piece of glass to be ordered, 1 week for the doggie door to be fitted in the new glass, and 1 day of installation.4 weeks after Id paid a $250 deposit, dropped off the doggie door, and made 2 phone calls asking about the status of the new glass order, an installation date was finally set, although 3 weeks later than promised.The technicians were late for the install, had not fit the dog door in the new glass like planned, and did not have the right tools to remove wooden frames from original glass. The techs didnt even know where the dog door was (still at the shop) and did not finish the job that day like planned.Ace Glass did not contact me to finish the install. After a few days without hearing from them, I contacted them.Again, the techs were hours late for the 2nd appointment, and had not measured and cut the wood framing to be put on the new glass like planned. Once again, they could not finish the job that day.Just like the 2nd time, techs promised that the scheduler would reach out to me to schedule a final work day. She did not, and I had to reach out to Ace Glass for a 3rd time to get the 3rd work day scheduled. This time I spoke to Lauren, an owner, to describe my frustration with the whole process. She assured me the techs would be on time for the final work day. They were not - they were hours late again.Instead of 2 weeks of ordering and 1 install date, this process took 7 weeks and 3 install days.Refusal to Return Materials to Owner:I told the techs on each work date (3 days) that I wanted to keep the original piece of glass from the door. Its worth $300+ and gives the future home buyer the option to replace the dog door. The techs said they would drop this off the next day (3/19), or the following week. They did not return the glass the next day or the following week. I called Ace Glass on the following dates requesting to have that glass returned to me with the following actions:Tue 3/26 - was told someone would call tech a/b glass and call me back; nobody returned my callThur 3/28- was told someone would call tech a/b glass and return my call; nobody returned my callFri 3/29 - was told the scheduler had my order # and would call to schedule a glass return date - she never calledTue 4/2 - spoke to owner (Lauren) again and she scheduled a time the next day for glass to be returned - nobody showed up or called me on Wed 4/3.Thur 4/4 - was told someone was looking into the situation and would call me back; nobody called me backThur 4/11 - was told the tech has the glass and someone will call me to return it; nobody has called by 4/16.Lack of Service:From the start, Ace Glass has shown a complete lack of customer service. The customer should not have to continuously follow up with the business to remind them to complete orders, schedule install dates, and return materials. Ace Glass never initiated communication with me, I had to call them numerous time to get any answers or action to take place. Even 3 months after paying my deposit, Im still waiting for service to be completed. This business is completely unorganized and constantly unprepared for their jobs. The employees regularly shift the blame of these issues onto their colleagues. I wish I had never wasted my time, money, and energy on Ace Glass and will never use them or recommend them to anyone.

I wanted to get a piece of glass to replace a broken piece for a cabinet door. I went in on a friday and had to listen to what a horrible day the employee was having while she was taking my order. I was told it should be ready on Monday afternoon and someone would call me when it was ready. The following Friday, I called to find out how much longer it would take and was told they couldnt find any record of my order. I gave them the measurements again and was told they would do it that afternoon and someone would call me to confirm it was ready to pick up. Its a week later and still no one has called me. Luckily I hadnt paid for it so today I went to Lowes and got them to cut a piece of glass while I waited and it was half the price of what Ace quoted me. They may be good if you give them a large order, but if you at looking for a single, smallish piece of glass, dont bother go to Lowes.

POOR (MANAGER) CUSTOMER SERVICE. A tech came to my house to measure a replacement window pane on August 10th, 2018. It was stated to me by the receptionist that it would take a week for it to come in. When the order came in the following week, the receptionist called and stated that the order was wrong. She stated that she would reorder it and that she would try to express the order but if not again it would take a week. It is September 4th 2018 almost a month later and I STILL do not have the glass that was suppose to be reordered. I call to find out what happen to my order, no one seems to know (clueless). When I ask to speak to the manager they kept me on the phone holding for 10 mins before Phyllis Price the manager took my call. I told her the issue that I was having with the glass reorder and that I was not happy with the service that I was receiving from the company. She stated to me Feel free to take my business somewhere else and that there was nothing that she could do if the company that they order their glass from is on back order. And that is exactly what I did, took my business somewhere else. Im sure that if shes just an employee working for Ace Glass that the owner would have felt differently about her statement and/or probably fired her on the spot. But un fortunately she’s married to the owner and don’t care, how sad is that. As a owner of a company you put in years of hard work to build a good reputation and brand for your company. But sadly hiring the wrong people or person to represent your vision (company) can destroy it in a matter of seconds with bad customer service etiquette. I gave this company a rating of a 1 but thats because the system did not have a negative rating. It should have been a -5. Words of advice to Phyllis Price, the manager/ owner of Ace Glass company on 5506 Two Notch Rd... You need to do better and take a class on CUSTOMER SERVICE. And be a better example of a leader as the manager for this company because others (employee) become what they follow. I will never do business with this company again. I am going to tell everyone that I know not to do business with this company because of Phyllis Price (the manager) the person that represents your company.

Store Front Glass was to be installed at business. Ace Glass was instructed to call us before showing up to install. Guess what? THEY SHOW UP WHEN THE BUSINESS IS CLOSED TAKE OUT WINDOW that is no good AND SET OFF ALARM, and leave.WOW..... really?! I am called, have to come to the business and deal with the mess. I called Ace Glass to discuss the way this was handled, and was told they would adjust invoice for trouble and they would investigate what happened, and get back with me. NOT! Today, they call wanting payment, and have no record. Funny I called them 2x!! Thats a bunch of.... The owner Phyllis Price response is -- pay the invoice or take the window out! >> She wouldnt even come to the phone. WOW>>>Think .... DO YOU WANT THEM TO INSTALL GLASS WHEN YOUR NOT THERE! Not me, never again. You would at least think they would appoligize for the inconvenience. How rude. I wasnt expecting them to eat the invoice, just adjust somewhat.

Just walked out with a mirror that was ordered several weeks ago. The mirror was not in any protective box or wrap and it had not been polished.There were smudges all over and then a young lady in customer service wanted to argue with me when I suggested it should have been in a wrap or box for protection. I will never shop this Ace Glass again.

Showed up when scheduled, order time was fast, install went well, gouged mark put in my ceiling, Id fix the gouge, but they accidentally took my ladder. Thats why only 3 stars. No one has returned my email about this at this time.

By far the worst experience Ive ever had. Said they were going to call at least 30 min ahead and I never got a call. Contractor didnt come out to take measurements until I scheduled the second. I was put on hold for nearly 14 min and transferred two separate times inquiring about the quote. It took 4 days for the to quote me on a glass replacement for 36 residential window.
