Very prompt at drop off, they kept me in the loop throughout the process, start to finish. My car was hit by another vehicle, causing a hole in the bumper. They replaced all necessary parts (as expected), and were respectful of my property. The sun was very bright so the new bumper is reflecting the side walk haha

I dropped my car off July 26th and have had the worst SERVICE ever. At first it seemed like it was all the insurance company and the lack of communication between shop and gieco... well here I am over a little over 3 weeks later still with out a car cause my original agent got fired from the shop on the 6th so all his work went up into the air my new agent from gieco told me this and thats why it was taking so long and that he would submit my supplement to the shop would get started on be done by 9th.... so I call to check and find out the supplement still hadnt been submitted finally got told it would be ready the 18th! So I call the 16th to check. They told me oh no not the 18th anymore it will DEFINITELY BE DONE THE 19TH (TODAY) GUESS WHAT STILL NOT DONE THEY TOLD ME MAYBE TOMORROW! I WILL NO LONGER BE USING THIS SHOP NOR GIECO FOR ANY OF MY ISSUES!!! BOTH ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE WITH COMMUNICATION!

I was in an auto accident and Geico sent me here. My trunk never leaked until I had the back fixed here from the accident. I took it back to be fixed and was told come back Monday we can’t get to it now. Brought it back and a different guy says I don’t know how this is on us but wait here. Takes the car and an hour later says we fixed it.. checked the trunk just now since we’ve had a lot of rain and it’s leaking again!!! So I will have to take it back again.. in the future I will ask Geico to not ever send me here again..

You know I would have no problems with the delays or the time its taking to fix may car if it werent for the fact that Ive had to hunt these people down for simple updates. This is also a problem with geico as well. Keep in mind that the wheel of my car just flew off after being serviced by a dealership and yet both companies do not want to do anything to look into that. I still dont know the full details of what needs to be fixed for it to take this long

Update: I took our new car back to them because I realized other panels werent aligned correctly and the rear gate rattled. The manager, Jeremy, walked around the car with me marking all of my concerns and then went on to ensure a loaner was provided to me from the Enterprise around the corner. I got the car back after a few days and couldnt be happier with the results.Dovell was great...very polite, patient, and courteous. What an awful experience dealing with TriState Collision. I was referred by GEICO for a broken taillight. They do not communicate well and I had to call several times to figure out the next steps. When it was time to replace the taillight, I was told it will take 45 minutes to an hour, and its ok to just wait. The guy who checked in the car told me a few times wont take long or 10 more minutes. I waited for 4 hours. I asked for the manager several times and he wont come out and talk to me. I didnt even get an apology after all of that. What a horrible experience from start to finish. I would never take my car there ever again, I recommend you dont either.

They earn 2 stars only because the damage to my car seems to be fixed well enough. That being said, like many others mention, theyre communication is awful. I understand that delays happen, but dont expect them to keep you informed. On several occasions I called on or after the date of pickup to find that the car wouldnt be finished, but that it should be ready soon and was told that they would call when its ready. This went on for more than two weeks after the original date of completion and nobody there took any initiative to let me know what was going on. I took my wifes Toyota Prius to them as insurance company recommended them. They did the work fine even though it took longer than their estimated time but we were fine with it as you find out exactly what work is needed only when you start fixing. They called when the car was ready. We went to pick up and about five miles on our way back we found out the car diagnostic system was throwing an error and weird sound was coming from engine. Check engine light came on. I drove the car back to them and they said they will have someone look at it only on Monday. They then called on Monday and said they are sending our car to Toyota dealership to have the diagnostic system fixed. In the first place, I preferred them over the Toyota dealership and it was my mistake. Few days later they called and said the car is fixed. I went to pick up and found out while driving the Passenger airbag light on the dashboard was not going away. It stayed on all the time.I did not feel like calling them as they had already wasted lot of my time. IMO they just fix but have no quality control. I will not go to them again in future. Not recommended.

Body shop does excellent work. If you are unfortunate enough to get a guy named Dave for your case worker, ask for someone else. He yelled and cursed out my insurance manger because he wouldnt release my car until he had the insurance check in his hand. Insurance companys usually get a screen shot or email showing the check has been issued and is on the way so that the customer doesnt have to keep paying for the rental car. My insurance company could not extend my rental car because my car was done. So I had to pay full price for a rental until the check came. That was 5 days!! VERY unprofessional. Ive used them in the past and they do excellent work. Just ask for someone else if you are given to Dave. This is why I am giving them 3 stars. It would have been 5 but Dave ruined that. Take your repairs somewhere else. They have gone down hill with basic customer service, which is almost nonexistent. I have had three cars repaired here over the years. They operate in tandem with Apple Ford, which is a bit sad due to the lack of customer service. My first experience was great and my second wasnt bad but could have went better. The second experience lacked communication and a sense of true customer care. It also came with some workmanship issues that they eventually fixed after an additional week tacked onto the repair times. This last experience was by far the worst. They made errors ordering parts which resulted in extending repair times. While the time extensio. Isnt so bad, not relaying to the rental car company is. We were charged and only paid back after complaining. When picking up the car several issues were found. Most were fixed but the rim was scratched. The estimator David thought it odd only one rim was scratched, especially since the car wasnt even a year old. He and I looked at the other rims and saw no other blemishes. His manager said they would not cover it, claiming they couldnt have possibly done it. When I went back to get the car after they corrected the defects in their work, we found another rim was scratched. I asked what they would do now since it was sure to have happened with them. David spoke to his manager, and despite having seen this scratch, which is more of a gouge, happened with them this time the manager said they were not going to fix or replace it. Basically a not my problem mentality. They offered to buff the first scratch, but nothing for the second. A bit odd if they didnt make the first scratch. I also doubt the estimator supported my claim when he spoke with the manager. The manager stated that they were not liable if damage, like a rock, hit the rim and caused the damage while driving the car. That brings up a question of why they were driving my car fast enough to cause such a thing, and did they drive my car which was not part of the repair process. Why can they claim it wasnt part of a direct repair, but fail to back damage they caused? They are quick to take your money, but not be responsible for their actions. Check your car thoroughly before signing over insurance checks, because they will drag their feet if they have to do anything after that, if they do anything at all. Go somewhere else.

While I’m sure they do good mechanical work at this location, the absence of customer service and failure to deliver by verbal deadlines given is extremelyfrustrating. After 5 days, I called twice and never received a call back or response to my voicemail. I had to call 2 more times to get ahold of the tech who said my car would be ready on a certain date. It should be standard practice to not only return customer phone calls but also provide regular status updates on repairs. On top of that, verbal confirmations regarding the day a vehicle will be ready should be adhered to. In the instance that more time is needed, the customer should be notified. On the day my car was to be ready, I did not receive a call. I, once again, had to call and get an update because no one from Tri state thought it was necessary to tell me my car wouldnt be ready as promised. Had I taken the employee for his word, I would have wasted my time showing up to get my car just to be told it wasn’t ready. It’s a blatant lack of respect for the customer’s time and does nothing but expose the inefficiencies of Tri-State’s internal operations. Looking at the other reviews my situation has been a regular occurrence for quite some time and management clearly doesn’t care as long as the money is still coming in. Don’t log complaints just for the hell of it and please don’t lie to customers. I was lied to a total of three times during this entire ordeal and In the 11 days they had my car I never received an update or phone recalling the status of repairs.

I am insured by Geico and I liked the courtesy and professionalism of the Geico Representatives. The five stars are for their professionalism and the work that was done to fix my car. However, the gentleman that represented the Enterprise Rent-a-Car company, was not as pleasant and professional as he could have been. He lectured me on how I should take care of the rent a car which was very dirty. The car also had many scratches and the front passenger seat was stained. He warned me that I should make sure that I returned the car in the same good condition that it was is in. I, then, proceeded to take pictures of the car. He then agreed to mark on the lease that the car had normal wear and tear. Needless to say, I could not wait to return that car and get my security deposit back. Long story short, I had gotten hit by another driver on my right front passenger side and Ive never been thru a body shop. So when I tried to get my car back, one of the Managers wouldnt let me take my car back just yet due to the bill not been paid. Instead of breaking things so that I could understand better this Manager told me that basically I couldnt get my car til the bill was paid. Took it here and they had the repair done quickly, but ended up not putting all the parts back and actually loosing some, not correctly reinstalling the pieces they took off, and scratching paint on surrounding parts of the car. When I showed them this before I left they the estimator said that she would look for the missing part and order the damage ones. She has yet to call, does not return email and does not have a clue when I call her about the issue. This was at the end of July. Just calling me to let me know the status would have been nice. I had mixed experiences with this shop. I came in 6 months ago for a minor paint and detailing job, had a great experience.I recently came in to have major work done because I was rear-ended. Had some tin rattling in the undercarriage, and had to come back to the shop twice to fix it. The first time, it was a temporary fix and if that didnt work, I was told to come back.Another major issue...they put the wrong car model on the trunk of my car. I drive an X###, they put a couple of extra letters there, making it XXX###. Came back to the shop, was told they had to order the right parts, and that they would call me when they received them, so I could come back in. For those of you keeping track, this is the third time Ive had to come back to fix mistakes THEY have made.Never received a call, I had to follow up with the shop and found out that they had received the parts 2 days ago. So I come in, but I have to do so before 4pm because the technicians dont work after that time. This is my fourth visit at this point. All of this could have been excusable if they had shown an ounce of concern for their customers. No apologies, no acknowledgement of their mistakes, and Ive actually been ignored in their office, waiting for someone to help me (there were 5 people at their desks who looked at me, and decided what they were doing was more important). On top of all these indignities, Ive had items stolen out of my trunk.I will never be coming back and honestly, it is a poor reflection on GEICO to be associated with this body shop.

Dishonest and unprofessional! I had the great misfortune of experiencing two car accidents over the span of two days. I took my car there because Geico uses them as a preferred body shop for their claims, and Geico was the insurance company of the lady who hit me. I explained to the Geico agent and the TriState agent that my car had two areas of damage and I thought we were all on the same page that only the Geico damages would be repaired. The TriState agent even marked the area with a green marker in my presence and assured me that the other damage would not be repaired. This is Lie #1. The insurance adjuster for State Auto Insurance had to evaluate my car while it was at TriState, but they said the issue of liability was still being determined so they would not pay for the repairs. I had already explained this to TriState when I dropped off my car. Well, they repaired the damage anyway. Then, they called me to tell me my car was done but they could not release it because State Auto hadn’t paid but the Geico claim was all done. When I asked who authorized the repairs on the second accident, the agent said the State Auto adjuster authorized the repairs. This is Lie #2. I called State Auto and they denied the authorization and refused to pay for my car. I called TriState back and asked again who authorized the repairs, and the guy actually said that I did! This is Lie #3. TriState made unauthorized repairs to my car and ended up with an unpaid invoice of over $2,000 that they couldn’t get paid. I would have had to pay the entire $2,005 invoice myself if my insurance company, State Farm, had refused to pay it because they never even got to evaluate my car’s damages! TriState put me in a terrible situation and I had to pay $400 to get my car released to me. That was my children’s Christmas present money. Don’t leave your car with them. You will get stuck with a bill you didn’t expect because they do what they want instead of checking with your insurance company and they don’t listen.

I do not recommend anyone to take their car to this shop. They have awful customer service, and Im not convinced they even know what theyre doing. My car was with them for 4 weeks, and I can understand that they dont control when parts come in, but they did not communicate anything to me the entire time.Over the course of the 4 weeks, I had to call them to get any sort of update on when my car might be ready, or what was even happening to it.On the day my car was finally ready, I was told that upon last minute inspection, there was a switch not working in my trunk (it was apparently a third way to enter my trunk that I had no idea about) and I was given the options to either leave my car with them until the part comes in, or to bring my car back when it comes in. I opted for the latter because I had already gone 4 weeks without my residential parking permit and it was a huge inconvenience. That Saturday after I got my car back, I was very low on gas and went to fill up when my gas cap door would not open. Since they are closed on weekends, and my tank wouldnt last me until Monday, I had to scramble to find a shop that could help me out (shout out to my hero at Meineke on Route 40 in Ellicott City). Turns out, my gas cap door was TAPED SHUT from the inside because Tri-State Collision Center left the tape on and the guy at Meineke had to pry it open with a screw driver! So I bring my car back about 3 weeks later (35 min drive for me) when the part for my trunk came in (thank GOD I didnt leave my car with them). I wait 30 mins for them to call me back and tell me that MY CAR DID NOT COME WITH THAT FEATURE. Over an hour of my life that I cant get back. All around, a terrible experience. I am now on my 5th or 6th time to have TriState repair the work they did in 2011. Currently, my issues are that the paint did not adhere well to the front bumper, the molding has fallen off multiple times, body panels are rusting where they did work, rear bumper is bubbling and rusting, and the weather stripping around the glass has peeled away from the glass. In the times I have gotten my vehicle back, they released it to me with non-working windows, body filler still showing without any paint, front passenger door would not close, front bumper and headlights misaligned, paint issues just sprayed over with no prep, orange peel, poorly pre-paint prepped areas that I could still see what was going on under the paint. I believe the definition of their quality of work boils down to the last time I brought the vehicle in. They fender-well was rusted (the first time) and they said they would weld a new metal panel in for that area. It rusted 6-8 months later (non winter months) which ONLY means they sanded it down and sprayed over it again. Furthermore, you can see on the inner fender-well that there was no new metal installed. Two weeks ago, I just tried bringing the truck back to get repaired two weeks ago on a lifetime warranty, the shop director is grasping at straws trying to say that the missing paint is due to chipping from rocks or debris from the road, and is refusing to honor a portion of the work they did. The paint is literally peeling off which means that the paint did not adhere to parts of the bumper which can only mean poor prep. You can tell the difference between scratched or chipped OEM paint and this body shops un-adhered paint since it is peeling away and no impact marks can be seen from any road debris. In closing, all I ever wanted was for my vehicle to be repaired back to OEM specs, and I am now on my 7th year of dealing with the issues from TriState Collision. This is my nightmare!

Based on the insurance companys decision to total it I came to collect my belongings thats when I noticed the parts missing from the vehicle. The customer service here is BEYOND TERRIBLE nobody could explain why my vehicle was totaled, or even wanted to try to take some time to speak with me about it, my adjuster had to come outside with me because, like I said, nobody from TriState could be bothered to provide even the slightest bit of customer service. Heaven forbid I get hit Ill NEVER bring my vehicle here again!! Do your self a favor: read reviews of shops before you leave your vehicle with them an talk to others who have been to where youre considering taking your car to

I had a really bad experience. I got my car fixed there after a hit and run, and after leaving the shop I noticed they hadnt replaced my hubcap which was broken. After about 6 months of harassing them, I have given up, because they obviously dont care about their customers. Also, the tire that was hit in the hit and run loses air now. So thanks for bad customer service, and bad work.

IT WAS UNDERWHELMING...AND MY CONCERNS WERE PRETTY MUCH IGNORED. HERES THE BOTTOME LINE...NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR PORSCHE TO TRISTATE...THEY WILL BREAK YOUR CAR TAKING IT APART & CHARGE YOU MORE MONEY TRYING TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER...IM TOLD ITS A PART OF THEIR PROCESS. I WISH CAREFUL & COMPETENT DISASSEMBLY & REASSEMBLY WAS A PART OF THEIR PROCESS.

I am getting my car repaired there RIGHT NOW through my Geico Insurance, and I must say; I have NEVER received such impeccable, efficient, QUICK, and nice service from a auto repair place ever! The Geico claims representative there, David Udan, and the rest of the staff (Kisha Fleming, Lauren from Enterprise) were such a huge help. They called me and left me emails updating me on the status of my car, they took care of EVERYTHING. I never felt so pampered!! And by a insurance company and a auto repair shop! I cannot give this location enough praise. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I had a good experience here. They fixed the damage to my car and did a great job. Like the accident never occurred. Ill admit, the time estimate they give is unrealistic, but that seems quite common with any kind of car repair.
