My transmission needed to be replaced and was under warranty. Bill at the Worley location was amazing! He absolutely went above and beyond to get my vehicle back to me as fast as possible. He called me with updates frequently and handled everything with the warranty company. I was confident my vehicle was in good hands the entire time he had it. Absolutely would recommend and will definitely be taking my vehicle back to Bill the next time I need anything.

Battery light came on. Alternator was bad. Tested it at an auto store. Custom said tow it there because they could immediately fix it. 6 hours later they had fixed nothing and still didn’t have the part. We could have brought the alternator from the auto store, but instead Custom ruined our whole day and caused me to miss a wedding rehearsal I was traveling to. Don’t trust a word they say about what they can do.

This is the second time this summer I’ve taken my vehicle to Custom. The first time was for replacing my breaks. This time my air conditioning was acting up. Boy times the staff and crew were courteous and accommodating. The pricing was fair as well. I had done a lot of research on the breaks ahead of time; and while they certainly weren’t the cheapest, they were solidly reasonable. Thankfully the air conditioning issue ended up an easy fix that was labor, no parts.

Bill was great. From the 1st phone call and all the way through, he was friendly, honest, efficient. I greatly appreciate finding an upstanding mechanic/garage in COMO!

I was originally very happy to have my car repaired. Of course repaired correctly would have been nice. After first repair the same thing occurred about a month later. They claimed defective part. Great right? Silly me, the same thing happened a third time a couple of months later and instead of taking it back for it to be repaired again by Custom, I just decided to pay another garage to repair it. The mechanic was really surprised that they chose such a cheap part the first two times. They (Custom) also did another service for me and although repaired, I believe I was really severely overcharged. Needless to say, it may have been a convenient location for me to have work done. If I was to break down close enough to that location and manage to coast into their parking lot, I will wait to be towed somewhere else as I will never ever use them again. The quality of work is nothing like it used to be.

Went here for safety inspection. I was third in the queue but I only waited about an hour and a half and their waiting area was comfortable enough to stay seated the whole time. They were very professional and provided me a quote for work that needs to be done for my car to run smoothly. I will definitely be calling them when Im ready to get the work done.

Staff was professional and service was excellent. Their driver took me home and brought me back when my car was ready. The service cost almost double what I expected because of parts being so expensive right now, but I will take them at their word that the parts prices were beyond their control. Would definitely use them again.

My AC compressor broke, taking a random bolt with it (that had to be special ordered from another state). The resulting repair eventually involved taking the dash completely apart, which required removing the seats. The team here was thoughtful and friendly. While it’s never good to have a mechanical issue with your car, it’s definitely made better by quality people helping you get back on the road.

I had just a very minor issue with my tire, and these guys immediately came out, took a look, and fixed the tire within 5 minutes. The issue was small, but they didn’t charge me a dime and they were so professional & helpful. I definitely recommend for any tire service, big or small. ;)

I called them at 9:00 a.m. and asked if they could look at my car. They said they had a couple hours of work ahead of me. So, I asked if I should bring it in at 11:00. They said that would be great.When I came in at 11:00, they said they dont take appointments and said it would be a couple hour wait. So, I waited two hours to bring it in for nothing. Why didnt they tell me that?Three hours later, they still hadnt looked at my car. The guy at the desk--Bobby--was kind of a jerk about it. I asked for my keys. A total of 5 hours of waiting. Never again.

My car suddenly sounded like a gocart and was shaking excessively. I called and they fit me in immediately! They called me and kept me updated throughout the afternoon and Eric even stayed late because I worked later than they were open. I had my flex pipe and converter completely rotted and I thought it would be well over $1,000 but it was a little under $500. These guys helped me out tremendously!

I took my car here to have my a/c checked and they put a dye in to determine if there was a leak but said it would have to circulate though the system for 2 days and said I could bring it back Saturday or Monday. I visited the shop on Saturday and they were unable to help. I understand Saturdays are busy but I should have been told Monday would have worked best. Also while researching more you can actually test if there is a leak after circulating the air for about 15 mins after the dye is injected. (Maybe they don’t have UV dye) I’m just going to take a $100 loss on this and take it somewhere else. Update: just took it to a different shop and it doesn’t have a leak it’s something completely different. I told Custom Complete that my car wasn’t low on freon and told me that it was. They didn’t do anything to my car!

These guys went above and beyond for our little family, we had an unexpected major breakdown with our jeep traveling to our new home, these guys were amazing, kind and helpful. Highly recommend them and I-70 towing!

I hit a pothole over near nifong and all that construction, which broke the spring to my back tire and I had to have all new system put in and replace 2 tires. I had just purchased my 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix and started the process of preventative maintenance. Ive only had the vehicle for about 2 weeks and had to make a late night drive from Warsaw to Sedalia Sedalia to Columbia. During this process I noticed that the temperature gauge was running hotter than what I was comfortable with. I completed the trip with the heat on low. I was referred to custom complete automotive for help the tech tested and advised that the thermostat needs replaced and coolant flushed. This place saved my life. Passing the town my air conditioner stopped working and I was on a long long drive. This place took me in on short notice. My old shop was too booked to see me, so a friend recommended this place. I’m always hesitant to take my Hummer anywhere other where the previous owner has taken it.But these guys just changed my mind!!I’ll be coming to them full time now. They were speedy, accurate, and gave me a heads up of what repairs might be needed for the future (without me feeling like I’m being swindled). I really felt like I was taking my car to a family-friends to get it worked on, they genuinely care and want the best for you!

CCA has consistently taken care of my vehicles for 10 years they always have great service and staff. I have never had to come back due to any issues with their service quality. The techs are really great and honest with all of their repairs. They know the golden rule and have always followed it! Highly recommended!

This was a terrible experience. I was quoted a time frame and price for changing my heater core: day and a half/$750. My car was kept for 3 and a half days and they ended up charging me $1500, and completing work I didnt ask for. The service person wasnt able to explain why this happened, or why i was quoted such a low price in the beginning. I wasnt offered a refund or money back, or even an apology. To make matters worse, the air conditioning button no longer works, which will be extra money trying to figure out what happened there. Overall, terrible experience. Will not be back, will post negative reviews wherever I can, and will tell people not to bring their cars here.

Had a slow leak in a tire while in Columbia for a softball tournament. They got me right in. When I told them I was on a time crunch, they got someone on it right away. Got the tire fixed and back to the ball park in short order. Thanks so much!

Had my oil changed and tires rotated on Saturday, and of course they tried to sell me new tires. Made it seem like my current tires were going to fall off, which they arent. Im still good for SEVERAL more miles. Then last night, Monday (2 days later), I noticed oil on my garage floor. Checked the oil gauge and it was really low. Filled a quart at the gas station and came home to clean the garage floor. Moved the car on Tuesday morning and a nice liberal amount of oil was on the floor (see 1st picture). So how much oil did I really lose overall? Took it back to CCA and they said the oil plug gasket was torn. You couldnt have noticed this when putting the plug back on Saturday? Or how about seeing how well everything ran after the oil change?  Dont worry, Ill change my own oil from now on, because I can...and I definitely wont be buying tires from CCA either.UPDATE: had to go back today, 2 days after my previous review... Still leaking oil. After 3 hours, they finally figured out that my oil pan plug hole was practically stripped smooth. Funny how one of the techs said he noticed that before, but I was never told about it. Also funny that until this oil change did I start leaking oil. Well guess what CCA, you can take your $450 oil pan replacement and shove it. It was fixed with a $3 bolt. And it will work just fine. Oh and that supposed new oil you put in today... It looks recycled. Why would it be dirtier than the first picture when the first picture had more miles ran on it.

Had my 07 Nissan Titan here. called them on a Saturday and they told me to come on over whenever Im ready. After a short wait they checked it out. Turns out after initial diagnostics they found it had some deeper electrical issues that were going to require more time to figure out. Since Im from out of town I decided to take it to my local shop. The awesome part is they didnt charge me a dime because they really hadnt solved the problem. Will definitely be back if I ever need anything else.

Very nice and professional. Price quoted was price paid. Eric the manager, even offered me a ride to work and to my hotel until the repairs on my truck were completed. A bit pricy from where I come from (OHIO), but Im sure its comparable to the area. Hopefully I wont need to but if I did, I definately would use their services again. Thanks again Custom Complete.

I was ripped off. I brought my car in because I was having trouble with my driver’s side headlight. I expected a quick and easy fix and knew I would pay a little more because Custom Complete is well known in Columbia for overcharging for their services, but I didn’t expect to pay $500 to replace one headlight! I came home and ordered the second matching headlight for $60 to replace it on my own. I was charged $250 alone for the headlight they installed, and $500 total after the cost of labor and their failed attempt to repair the headlight before deciding to replace it. I will never again return to Custom Complete for any work that I need done.

Thank you for fixing our car so quickly .my husband and I went to the va hospital on a Friday .. our car broke down and we were from out of town .so we rented a car to get home and .they had it fixed the next day ..we were able to return the rental and pick our car up on sat instead of Monday ..only having the rental 1day instead of 3! Our car is running great ...it was a fuel pump and fuse .

My experience at this shop was exceptional. They looked at my car in a timely manner and fixed it quickly as well. The manager there was upbeat and very friendly. He had great customer service skills because he explained to me what was wrong with my vehicle and the price without coming off as pushy. I would definitely go to this shop again! The main reason is because as a female it is nice to find a repair shop that you can trust.

They were kind, professional, and only did the work necessary to repair our car at a very reasonable price. We HIGHLY recommend this shop for any repair work needed to be done. Lee and his staff were GREAT!!

Although we didn’t follow through on the repairs on our end, the staff was very helpful and useful in guiding us. I will 100% be coming back the next time my car has an issue.

I brought my mothers vehicle to custom complete expecting an incredibly large bill as there is something wrong with the transmission. So I took her car there for an oil change and had them check the transmission while it was in there. Let me tell you, the guy who runs the show is one of the most honest mechanics I have ever come across! They got the oil change done then looked at the transmission and turns out it was a really simple matter. My mother is on a fixed income and really did not have what it took to try to fix a transmission or to get a new vehicle. Lee Ailworth from Columbia transmission over by the Columbia Mall, you are incredibly honest stand up individual and you have won my business from here on out! A big thank you from all of us out here that cannot afford these expensive bills thank you for being honest, and because of that Honesty you now have a lifelong customer!

100% dissatisfied with my service at this location. The staff at the front desk was fine, I only remember one name, Nathan...and he was nice. This was my experience — I brought my car in at 11:45am for a simple routine state inspection, I was told it would take 30-45minutes, perfectly fine. I decided to get picked up, leave and come back for my vehicle at a later time. I returned at 1pm, thinking that plenty of time had passed, but my car was still up in the air. I asked how much longer they thought it would take...front desk attendant said he would go ask only to return and tell me that “The mechanic had stepped out, so he’d ask him as soon as he got back”...why the mechanic stepped out before my simple inspection was done...I have no idea. It wasn’t long until I realized that the mechanic had not stepped out, he had simply just started working on a different customers car...complete lack of respect for my time. Finally around 1:30pm he calls me over and informs me that my vehicle failed inspection due to needing a new power steering pump, informed me it would be $500+ to fix it and wanted to know if I wanted to do it today. ABSOLUTELY NOT, first off, you have already wasted way more of my time than expected and second off...I have NO signs of needing a new power steering pump. I immediately knew I would be taking my car to my mechanic for a second opinion...and what do you know, I do NOT need a new power steering pump, there was just a simple leak. I absolutely whole-heartedly believe that Custom Complete was just trying to get $500+ out of me because I’m a young female college student. I’m disappointed that they failed my car for state inspection over a faulty claim that I needed to replace my entire power steering pump. If you get a failed inspection at this location I strongly urge you to take it somewhere else and get a second opinion.

I had the best customer service experience here than any place I’ve ever had my whole life. These people are completely amazing. Today was my first time going to Custom Complete Automotive and I can confidently say I won’t be going anywhere else from now on. They took amazing care of me and went above and beyond in showing me exactly what was going on with my vehicle. They were just amazing. Worth every penny and minute going here.

Told me things needed to be replaced when they were fine.Brought my car in for an oil change, and they told me my front brake pads were at 5%. My pads are nearly new, with over 90% pad thickness. They also said my rotors were badly rusted and pitted. They arent. My brakes work perfectly, without any noise or pulsing.They also told me my serpentine belt needed replacement. Its in perfect shape. Its perfectly quiet, and has no cracks, edge wear, or missing belt ridges.These are friendly people, but they dont mind selling you things you dont need. They also put down that I need to change my oil in 3k. Almost no cars need an oil change that soon nowadays. Mine needs one every 4.5k.Aside from them trying to fix things that arent broken, they missed that my rear wheel bearing needed replacement.

We drove from Kansas City to Columbia. Ran over a blown out tire on I 70. It broke some of the plastic underneath my car. Custom complete automotive was two minutes from our hotel. They were able to get my car put back together so we could drive home safely. It was quick and easy. Very affordable. Everyone there was friendly and the lobby or waiting room was clean and spacious. No complaints. Great service.

My starter went out and would not start after making a stop in kingdom city for lunch. Had my 2002 lexus towed here. They were able to get me in pretty quickly. Within 3 hours they had a new starter installed and i was good to go. They do good quick work here.

Lee is probably one of the most honest and down to earth people Ive met. My girlfriend had problems with her car and they saved her thousands of dollars in repairs. These guys will have my business for sure in the future when I need it. I would give them a 10 stars if I could.

Had a state inspection today. They found a worn out ball joint. Repairs were made that day and at a very fair price. Jeremy and the team handled it all well *** I stopped in without an appointment and Chris, Kevin and Thomas made everything happen quickly and without any drama. Drivers side windshield wiper stopped working after a night of snow with another one on the way. I ran in on a Saturday afternoon with the expectation that my 13 year old car might finally be having an issue that isnt minor. Instead, Custom Complete had me in and out in 10 minutes with thankfully a minor issue and are one of the few shops in town that didnt try to sell me more than I needed. Great experience!

Midway through a 12 hour road trip, our car started making a funky noise so we stopped by the shop because it was one of the only places open Saturday. They were very courteous and fit us in even though it was quite busy. The wait was longer than promised, but they diagnosed our car, gave us the OK to continue traveling and didnt charge us a dime, which more than compensated for the delay. If I ever end up in the area again, I would certainly return for service. They were polite, accommodating, and most importantly fair.

I took my 2001 Ford Focus to Custom Complete Automotive on Business Loop in Columbia, Missouri. It was having a lot of problems. The original diagnosis was that the catalytic converter had gone bad. I ordered a new one from Amazon. I did some research online and the problems my car was having did not seem to correlate with the diagnosis of a bad catalytic converter.I called Custom Complete Automotive and spoke with Bill, the Service Manager. He asked me to bring the car in for a second diagnostic with a different mechanic to be sure. The second diagnosis proved that the problems I was experiencing were due to the vehicle speed sensor and not the catalytic converter.When I took my car in to have the speed sensor replaced an employee drove me to and from work. I did not pay for a single diagnostic and also received a discount on the part and work to apologize for the incorrect diagnosis. My car is now running smoothly.Bill advised me to send the catalytic converter back and promised that Custom Complete would reimburse me for any shipping fees I incurred. About a week later, I took the catalytic converter shipping receipt to Custom Complete and Bill reimbursed me that day.Although Custom Complete Automotive made a mistake with the first diagnostic, they listened to what I had to say and went above and beyond to fix the problem. I felt comfortable having them fix my car. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Poor customer service and pricing! My first experience they claimed I was misinformed on a AWD harness being bad and said it was just a loose wire a week later had the same issues and had to get them replaced. I then took my vehicle their giving them a second chance to do my inspection to register my vehicle. They quoted over a $1000 to get it up to par. Some of the pricing was reasonable but they were charging over $500 for a rear tail light! I was very upfront with them and had said I think they made a mistake while they were checking me out I found the part for $40 on several sites. They said nope thats the price I was wrong. I called back later and found out where they were quoted the parts from. Turns out they had priced out the entire rear hatch not the light. Ridiculous! I can see them making this mistake initially but when a customer tells you several times their concern with the quote you would think they could of made that second phone call rather then their customer. They have lost my business for the the foreseeable future I was able to get all the same work they quoted me done and done honestly and professionally for under $500 @dents unlimited. Save some of your hard earned money and quote out some other mechanics!

Custom Complete did a great job with our trailer hitch on our Nissan Ultima. We needed it for our bike rack. I had checked three other places and most would not touch the job. Custom Complete did a great job and at a fair price.

Brought in my death trap expedition for a inspection. The guys at the shop were amazing. Provided me a ride home (20 miles out of town) when it was discovered unsafe to drive. They finished it more than a day earlier than estimated and pretty close to the estimated cost even with a couple new problems popping up.

Love this place have been going for a while in all honesty they cost a lil more than average but the service is unbeatable a smile a hand shake and explantation on the problem how to fix it what can be put off and what needs to be fixed immediately. I love this place. Ive heard bad stuff happening there and Id believe some of it. But Ive been coming here for over 8 years now and have only had one experience that wasnt great and it was because of the mechanic in the back. He has since been fired and no problems since. Joe is awesome (at the front desk) and always shoots me straight. Heres what could be done, heres what needs to be done, what do you want done?... always the way of it. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone!

Their prices are about the same as anywhere else. You can get custom work done. They work with you, but just be careful. Not only with them but any car shop honestly.

This shop saved me over $2500. I called with concern as my car was leaking radiator fluid. When Lee and I talked next, his words were, “I don’t want you spending any money on this car here unless you tell me you’re in love with it.” My car is 17 years old and absolutely out of its prime days, but I was unaware of how bad things were until I took a look at the undercarriage with the staff. To START fixing my car would have been over $2,000 with no telling how much more it would have cost to fix my motor. Incredibly thankful for this shop and their honesty. I will be taking any future car troubles to Lee and his staff. Thanks again, guys. I will be back!
