Went in with my friend for some shooters, they had an extremely small selection. While the cashier gave us a box of them to grab from, the man working there said that they needed the register that we were on and that the shooters were on the top shelf. I felt rushed by him even though I had selected what I needed, he was rushing me and my friend who were also making purchases.

Queen Liquor provided our alcohol for our wedding on 9/16/21 and they were WONDERFUL to work with!! Friendly, personable staff and great communication throughout. Chris is incredible and we appreciate him so much!! My husband and I have been regular customers at Queen Liquor for a few years now and we will continue to purchase our alcohol from them for years to come. Highly recommended!!

I wrote a really nice review about a week or so ago, but posted on the wrong business site. It wasnt even a liquor store. I guess I like Queen Liquor a little too much.

Jacqui is great! Always greets me with familiar banter and recognition. They know what I like... Summer Tequila and Cold Weather Whiskeys. Old Soul Pinot and Mexican beers. Quick in and out joint with tight quarters that require some advanced decorum with regard to COVID protocols... ...but thats todays game. Wear a mask and follow the green tape. Too easy. Locally owned with easy parking. Highly recommend.

Love this place! They have the best organic selection I’ve yet found in Colorado including Denver. Beyond the selection though their service is AMAZING love Gavin love the owners really these folks are the bestest

Selection is fine but the employees, likely the owners, of this business, are very unkind people; absolutely not the type of human that belongs in the service business. They followed my roommate around the store, peering over her as if she was going to steal something, or as if she was not the correct target demographic for their business. She mentioned what she was looking for and they literally scoffed at her. Although the man before my roommate checked out at the counter, directly in front of the female owner, the female owner very rudely and abruptly spoke to my roommate to ensure she stayed on the 6 foot line; she had a mask on the entire time.. From this point, after being spoken to like a child, my roommate went to collect her ID from the counter, and once again, the woman just said nuhuh, back, back. As if to tell her to stand on the X again, but did not have the common decency to speak to her like a human.I understand there is a global pandemic; understand more than most, being in the healthcare field myself. If you are going to follow the regulations, please follow it for all customers. Otherwise, your business will be viewed as a joke. You had 2 regulars who are my close friends, they will not be returning due to this situation. Cheers!

Gavin is the man! He’s very knowledgeable about wine - great sommelier. I was experiencing occasional headaches, and Gavin recommended some organic, vegan reds that have no sulfates other than the soil - these really solved some of the “day after” issues I’d been experiencing. Queen Liquor has an excellent selection of fully organic wines, larger even than big box wine retail stores I’ve shopped.

Staff was rude. Treating people of color as if they are criminals. It would take me forever to tell the whole situation so let’s just stick to the facts...I’m a military veteran of age and I did not appreciate how you treated me. You have lost a customer for life. I’m never coming back there and I hope you treat other hardworking customers with much more respect than you did me. Especially those of color.

Woman who seemed to be the owner was quite rude, wouldn’t leave us alone as we were browsing-as if she was trying to keep an eye on us. Upon paying I had to put my ID and card on the counter and step behind the green line for COVID. Woman did not give me a total and signed my receipt for me! I asked if she needed me to sign my own receipt, and was rudely told that if I needed to sign it, she would have asked. An ok selection that you can find somewhere else with a heck of a lot less attitude, and what feels a bit like fraudulently signing someone else’s name without permission. I will never go back for a multitude of reasons; she did not allow me to sign my own receipt, and seemed a bit intoxicated. Also, I mentioned how the counters were set up so when you walk in they look like aisles that you would walk down-that woman stated I would be in her space and said under her breath that she would get her gun. In no way am I going to put my safety in the hands of an individual that may or may not be taste testing on duty and threatening the use of a gun on her patrons. Sorry, your selection is not that good!

Great selection at every price range. They have unique gems as well as big names . all the employees are knowledgable about the products and have tried them personally. The owner is very friendly as well! Probably my favorite LQ store on the Westside, onmy complaint is wish it were open til midnight, but I understand why not....great place to fimd a unique bottle to take to a party or dinner. Lots of Colorado products.

Where liquor stores go to die. Bright, like an interrogation room. Old store for old people. No discounts, no interest in serving Joe six pack. Buy beer next door at King Sooper, buy liquor at Costco. Is that Christmas décor still up???

Rude staff that wears masks with their noses hanging out yet has the strictest rules for customers of any liquor store in town. They should hold themselves to the same standards they ask of others.

They have a good selection. And usually the staff is great. Unfortunately the man on staff today seemed occupied with his tasks. I felt like I was bothering him when I asked questions. I got the idea more than once that I was annoying him. I work in customer service and even if someone annoys me, you pretend like they dont cuz thats what good customer service is. I love this place. The woman who is usually there when I go is super helpful and goes above and beyond whats expected of her. They have a solid selection, including a good mix of gluten-free options (God I miss beer...).

I live right across the street from this liquor store and shop here at least once a week for cider. Everyone is so kind and helpful, but theyll leave you alone to your selection instead of bombarding you, which I like. Ive developed a wonderful relationship with the employees here and will shop here for my cider (which is cheaper here than it is at Coal Train!).

Looking at other google reviews, looks like this store has an on-going issue with the staff having bad attitudes and poor customer service: Which was my experience as well. Other than taking my money and bagging my bottle the guy behind the counter didnt say a word to me. Come on guys, RETAIL 101 greet your guests and make them feel comfortable!

Certainly not the greatest liquor store in town. But they do have a great selection of beers and the staff are really helpful in finding and trying new things. I enjoy seeing familiar faces when I go.

They try to sell you wine like used car dealers. They should be called Queen Wine. Everything costs more there than anywhere else that I have seen...by a large margin

Queen liquor is our go to for great service and selection. I just cant say enough about the helpful staff! Whether I am looking for a craft beer, a bottle of wine, or a locally distilled bottle of bourbon, I can count on great advice from Kit and her team. I have to say that they have never steered me wrong in all the years they have been helping me-- and just as importantly, they have always kept my budget in mind and havent tried to upsell me! Hooray for Queen Liquor!!!!

I dont know anything about beer etc . I was there to get some wine for cooking and cig for my friend. They sure do have a lot of choices of everything in there and the sales people are quick to help. Seemed clean as well.😎

Very helpful staff, they didnt carry my wine of choice but pointed me in the direction of one similar and I like it! Lol This wine is like $1 and some change more expensive that my favorite so Im hoping I can talk them into carrying my favorite as I will be shopping there more often since my work location changed.

I have been here several times but will not be going back. I live very close so it is rather convenient but everytime I go in, the employees have a bad attitude, and they stare at you like they think youre going to steal something! The prices are definitely a few dollars more a bottle than most other stores.Sure, they ask if you need help finding anything about 10 times but the customer service is horrible. The last time I was in there buying alcohol the total amount was around $25. I had cash, plus a roll of quarters ($10) that I was planning on paying for it with. However, the cashier said they could not accept the quarters because he couldnt verify how much was in there??? I even offered to count them out in front of him! But nope! And they still treated me like trash.Every friend of mine that has been there tells me they have had a similar experience too. I recommend NOT shopping here to everyone I know.

I walked in and couldnt figure out what I wanted So I decided I was going to get my husband who works in the same shopping center. As Im walking out, the old lady with the super short white hair says to a customer shes checking out, Creepy. Because I didnt buy anything yet and was just looking? I realize they get a lot of undesirables in that area but that level of unprofessionalism is damaging. I will NEVER walk into that place again. I wouldnt pee on that woman if she was on fire.

Never have had a bad experience here & the staff is always polite & professional. Its pricier than its neighborhood competitors for no discernible reason beyond that its close to King Soopers. Convenience tax I guess. They also close too early, which seems to be a trend on this side of town.

I was just here with my 10 year old daughter who asked are you going to get the same one as last time? I asked her which one that was and was told by an employee that my daughter was not allowed to talk about alcohol in their store. Ridiculous! I will NEVER, EVER go back!

Im local and have come to this liquor store often, never had exceptional service but never thought anything of it. Today, I had just purchased a bottle of wine and Ill admit I was in a bit of a hurry, but as I as walking out the bottle slipped through my hands and shattered just by my feet and right in front of their door. I was startled to say the least, and I offered to clean it up, which the staff denied to. Anyway, I wasnt expecting a free bottle of wine, but the cashier at this time could not even fake a sympathy look as she glanced at me, nor did she ask if I was alright. I will not be returning to this establishment.
