Asked for an in-house consultation to get a complete house entertainment house system with already installed in-wall speakers… was supposed to get a quote and a timeline… after 3 months still waiting for it and called 2 more times to check in…Bottom line, they might be great at their job (don’t really know), but they have a terrible costumer service and professionalism

Stopped by to browse and had a great chat with Bob. The shop has a great range of stuff from a vintage silver face Marantz integrated amp all the way to Paradigm Persona towers. Picked up a DAC Magic 100 from their consignment inventory for a steal of a price and couldnt be happier. Ill for sure be stopping by again. Thanks Bob, cheers.

Disregard all negative reviews left for this company . I went into their store to get a 3amp 250volt time release fuse for my vintage Denon POA -2200 Amp which no one carries in Colorado Springs. I showed Scott the fuse he went back into their service department and within in minutes he returned asked me to hold out my hand a gave me two fuses!!! i offered to pay his reply was dont worry about it!!!.this is what you call top notch customer service!!! I can imagine that their service department is top notch too. They have a lovely layout of all their high end audio systems and speaker systems i asked about their lovely display of vintage high end especially about this reel to reel, Scott laughed and said NOT FOR SALE!!!!!!! This is a review of their “service.” I called requesting repair services and they referred my to their service guy who only works part-time. After making arrangements for their repair person to come by, he had to cancel on me and never contacted me again to set up another time. I reached out to him to reschedule but he never responded. All the guy had to do was respond to my text and say “no.” Quite frankly, this place shouldn’t even advertise that they service equipment.

Like many others I have been dealing with the Sound Shop for decades and rarely buy my audio equipment anywhere else. I am especially fond of their preowned equipment which is always a good bargain. I’ve never had any issues with used equipment. Where else can you buy a high end audiophile quality sounds system for pennies on the dollar. Their inventory is great and you can place equipment on consignment there as well. Definitely recommend The Sound Shop. Be sure to visit and check out all the goodies.

I really like this shop. Kelly, the consultant, was extremely helpful and put together just the right system for me!!!! The techs did a great job installing my new equipment!!! Their prices are very competitive; would definitely give them more of my business!!!!

Kelly was great at helping us pick out the best floor speakers for our space, and more importantly, our budget. Even though we couldn’t buy the expensive stuff, we weren’t treated as any less valuable of a customer. The personal service we received from all staff was welcoming and made for a great experience.

Recently The Sound Shop designed and installed a home theater system for my wife and I. Kelly and the Shops install team of Michael, Dylan, and Connor did a superb job. The situation was challenging, in a fully finished basement with limited wall space and a joist structure that was not designed to be passing speaker and projector wires above the ceiling. They got it done, and we are quite pleased with the result. The Sound Shop staff is very customer service oriented, always leaning forward to ensure they deliver on their promises and exceed expectations. High recommend them!

Absolute trash. I called in a Geek Squad repair a month ago. Ive been told ten different times Id be getting a call from the tech and no work has been done. Stay away, they will just waste your time.

I have been dealing with The Sound Shop for going on 30 years. They are without a doubt the most honest and capable retail audio shop I have ever dealt with. They will bend over backwards to satisfy you in any way that they can, even to their own detriment. I would recommend The Sound Shop to virtually any buddy regardless of their skill/knowledge level of the audiophile hobby, or their income level.

The Sound Shop is one of the best places to get your home theater set-up! 5 out of 5 stars! Scott was a lot of help with getting me caught up on what we could do and how we should approach this with my new home. Everything sounds amazing and I will always recommend their work to friends and family!

Wow! Great HiFi and speaker shop. The prices here are often better than other major retailers (cough cough Best buy). Not to mention the great customer service and supporting a local business. These guys know their stuff.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The Sound Shop is the only place I go to for audio / video gear. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the latest tech for home theater and audio gear. I would much rather support a small locally owned business then the big box stores. If we dont support small business then there wont be any.

Very good sales and knowledge if high end products. If you need customer service because your 84 tv went out, you should lower your expectations to 0.Costco automatically doubles all electronics warranties. I will shop there or listen up from this day forward. Goodbye 20 year relationship!

The Sound Shop is a very customer-oriented company. In particular, Mike Fallert has rescued us and our in-home theater more than once this year! He is quite knowledgeable, a technical guru who is able to isolate a problem almost instantaneously, fix it in a timely manner at a most reasonable fee.If I decide to upgrade any of my equipment, I will definitely seek the advice and counsel of The Sound Shop and purchase what this company recommends.

Being somewhat of a newbie in the home theater area I went by here to get some advice and take a listen to what they have. When I entered the store there was an associate behind the counter that was very nice and began to answer my questions. I was kind of concerned as he said his prices can beat even crutch field even before we knew what I was asking for. After trying to answer my questions he didnt offer to go listen to anything or to show me what the receivers are or speakers. He just told me to go push some buttons and let him know if I had any questions. Other places have actually taking the time to show me many different combinations of Amp and speakers. Nothing like that here and in fact no one said anything to me other than to hand me a card. I know where I am going to go to get my home theater and it will not be here.

I love this store just got back from there with some new equipment for my son-in-law I bring everyone here. Forget the big box stores Kelly is awesome.

I had a customer service issue and spoke with the owner, Patti. She rectified the situation quickly and refunded a trip charge. She listened to my complaint and did something about it. Refreshing in todays world.

Not a place to go to for repairs. they do sell decent equipment. norbern at least told me they couldnt repair my high end denon audiophile cd player upfront nor my Stax headphones. Rosstronics fixed my Stax headphones and told me the parts just arent available for Denon gear over 10 years old. I settled for a very nice new onyko cd deck which is built like a tank. Audio Research will have to wait till I win a powerball jackpot.

The most important things in running a business is honesty, integrity, and professionalism. This organization lacks these qualities and it is truly amazing they are still in business. I had a bad experience with this business and waited over three weeks for them to make a repair that was promised and never done. All I got was lies and the run around when I asked when a technician would come by and repair a mixer for a local church. They were all about money and not customer service. I believe you should always be up front and honest with your customers if you either dont want to do the job, or cant get it done. I dont recommend this so-called company to anyone and it is truly sad they even exist.

Knowledgeable staff just didnt have what I needed

Purchased a home audio system 3.5 years ago. Had a problem. Manufacture customer service was no help. Went back to store and they helped me diagnosis the problem and gave me the replacement part for free. EXCELLENT service. Will continue to but 100% of my home audio at this local business.

Ive purchased new and used components from these folks as well had them service equipment. It seems that theyre always talking me out of spending money - finding the least expensive equipment or approach to meet my needs.

I purchased a Sony replacement bulb from The Sound Shop, for my Sony projector. Paid over $200.00 for this Sony bulb, only to have it be bad out of the box. I tried to get them to replace it and they refused. The salesman tried, but the manager wouldnt do anything. I called Sony to see if they could help, they asked for the serial number of the bulb, when I gave it to them, they told me it wasnt a Sony bulb, but a cheap aftermarket knockoff and that they couldnt replace it for me I had to deal with The Sound Shop since the bulb didnt come from Sony.I wouldnt recommend The Sound Shop for anything. They charged me for a Sony bulb and I got a cheap knockoff that didnt work and Im out over $200.00 what a rip off!!!

0 stars. Only authorized Sony repair shop in Colorado. Very unfortunate. Rude customer service, won’t return phone calls. I have an $800 tv that’s 2 years old that stopped working and they have no interest in working on it even though they advertise for out of warranty repairs. Disappointed with Sony and The Sound Shop. I wouldn’t buy a stick of gum from this place.

Good luck with these misfits: given the run-around about what services they could or could not provide, failed to return most phone calls and unprofessional when doing so, given bad information repeatedly, etc.Go somewhere else for television repair.

Comperirive procing but way below average service after the sale. It depends how much you spend here and home theater is what they specialize in.. However. I was treated poorly by management and0 told they would not handle a repair of my CD player. There is no repair service here jusr installers.
