Very good customer service, knowledgeable staff. Took in some Gamecube games to get resurfaced. No luck on the games working again but they had a GameCube system plugged in to test the games out right then and there.

There is a ton of content in this store. They carry video games, movies, comics, and a little bit of everything else. The guy behind the counter is always friendly and informative. I think one of the best parts of this whole store is the pricing. You are likely not going to find anything cheaper anywhere else locally, and his prices compete with Amazons prices.

Absolutely wonderful store. My friends and I went here because they wanted to add a SNES to their retro game collection. We see ourselves as people who enjoy older consoles and what the have to offer. On sort of a whim I bought a Sega Dreamcast along with Quake 3.I just wanted to stay how nice and accommodating the person behind the counter was (sorry I never got your name!). The console was super clean as well as the controllers. I don’t think many of the local game shops in Denver have that level of deep cleaning on a console.The prices here are VERY fair. Sometimes even cheaper than online. I regret not buying more games while I was here. I guess I’ll just have to stop in whenever I’m in the Springs.Thank you so much for letting me live out a childhood dream with the Dreamcast!

I came in with a bunch of used video game stuff in they purchased $10 in cash worth of stuff. They were looking for things in good condition and in complete sets. They did advise me of another company locally that would be happy to take everything off my hands! Super organized shop and very attentive employees. The owner owner always seems to be venting to customers. Whether it is talking smack about something an employee did or even publicly name shaming customers for disagreeing with his pricing and leaving reviews.Decent selection and some cool old memorabilia. If you go you might want to use an alias so you don’t make it onto the stores Facebook.

I take my son here regularly to pick out new Pokémon cards and to find PlayStation 2 games and I have yet to have a bad experience. Patrick is super sweet and helpful and never rushes my son when he is looking at the Pokémon cards. I would definitely recommend this store.

Awesome, bee coming here for awhile now and it occurred to me that Ive never left a review. This is hands down my favorite place for retro games, comics and trading cards. Great section ad the staff are top notch. I even found one of my most wanted games here. Cant beat that!

Excellent shop. It is a small shop but its very well organized and very clean. The customer service is above and beyond. This is my familys new favorite shop for games and comics. We will be going at least once a month now. Its an awesome place.

Ive left a review for this place before but I have a new account and wanted to make sure I showed this place some love. Havent been here in about a year because my wallet was really feeling my visits to this place. There were always many nostalgic gems in this place. It would sometimes take hours for me to settle on a handful of items to buy.The customer service is always exceptional. I brought in an NES that I had purchased somewhere else because it wasnt playing a couple of games and they not only figured out what the problem was, but upon discovering that they didnt have the part I needed, they actually called a completely different store in town for me, made sure they had it, and even convinced that store to discount the part for me. Thats amazing customer service.Im gonna try to come back here soon just to see whats treasures are hanging around here. This place is also amazing for gifts if you have friends & family who like stuff like this.SPEND MONEY HERE!

Ive been in this store many times and Ive always had the same excellent service as the first time I walked in. Patrick and Connie both take really good care of me and other customers when we come in. Ive been allowed time to test games before I buy them to make sure Im going to like it and to see if they work. This store cleans and tests every game that they get in to make sure its top quality for collectors and regular gamers alike. Ive bought several game systems and games from this store and Ive always been 110% satisfied with what Ive purchased. There isnt a store better than this one for retro gaming in my opinion. 5/5 stars for the best customer service Ive ever had plus 100% clean game systems and games.

I had a great experience at Video Game Exchange & Comics. They have a very helpful and knowledgable staff, but are not pushy at all. If they dont have something in stock, they are willing to call around to try to find what you are looking for. Their video game console prices are very reasonable compared to some of the national video game stores or online websites and they have a great game selection across all gaming systems. I highly recommend you stop by if you are looking for video games and consoles, old or new.

Great stuff if you like games like I do they have what you are looking for at great prices. The staff was incredible and friendly and did not even mind that we had walked in 10 minutes before closing time. My five year old son loved to take is picture with Mario and had a fantastic visit we will definitely return.

I was really satisfied with the games they had in the store they had me look at the condition to assure every game I buy is working this is what I call a store but the downside is I wish the prices can be dropped a tad bit I know retro games are old and all but I think I can buy more games if the price was lower,still a great store very helpful too I enjoyed my first experience 2nd time was really cool too and once the Crysis is over Im coming back for more but hopefully prices are dropped a tad because it would definitely help the store alot.

This place is great - the only place that had the display cord I needed, and they even tested my old GameCube console when I wasnt sure if it worked or not. Super awesome people. 🙂

Great place. It’s hard to find a good retro game place in the area and this place definitely delivers. I’m not into comics so I can’t really speak on their comic selection but it seems like they have a big variety.They have an NES set up so you can play/test the games, which is nice, and their selection on retro games is awesome!

I always go here when Im looking for games or for equipment. Patrick is the absolute best and Connie is always super friendly. It says a lot too, for them to respond to each comment about their store! They really do care about their reputation, the products they sell, and their impact on the community. Was friendly unfortunately sold me a game and didnt inform me I needed another accessory in order to play the game. I bought a Wii with the game Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. Just found out in order to play you need the motion + device. If your going to sell something you need to make sure your customers know if other accessories are needed to play the games they purchase.

The owner is a super knowledgeable video game, comic and anime enthusiast that is probably the nicest person you will ever meet, and extremely fun to talk to. I have been in the shop probably 40 times already and I ALWAYS leave with a smile on my face. The shop is very family friendly. I see families in the store every time I visit, and everyone always has something in hand to purchase. The store has a vast inventory of video game systems, games and accessories at fantastic pricing. My favorite section of the store is the comic section. Every time I come into the store there is fresh inventory ranging from silver age to modern and the pricing is the best I have experienced in Colorado Springs. The owner really shows his love for video games and comics by making the hobbies affordable and realistic for anyone who is interested. He will go out of his way to absolutely ensure that you have a great experience every time you enter the doors. The world needs more businesses like this, I will remain a loyal customer forever and I recommend this shop to everyone I meet!

I give them a 5 star review because of their friendliness. I love little hole-in-the-wall store and Im happy this place is here. May not have the largest selection of newer games, but you can trade-in systems and games and find all kinds of older games that are getting harder for the average person to just find. They are helpful to in that they can notify you if they get a game in that you want. They do pre-orders too so thats nice. All in all I really enjoy that this place is here and I hope it stays. Im a return customer myself and they happily see me again
