The menu here is AMAZING. They are very vegan friendly and the owner is SO nice and accommodating. The vegan yuca fries are one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. From taste to price to service, this place is incredible!

Visiting Colorado Springs and found this place. Loved the food and the gelato was fantastic. Also tried the moon milk and it was so good, had never seen this on a menu. Also the owner was very attentive and even came out with a sample of the chili sauce that was on my dish to make sure it wasnt to spicy. Really like the attention to good service. Large menu with many options for the gluten free and vegetarian diners. Visit this establishment you wont be sorry.

I found this place by accident, but I’m glad I did. The coffee is good and the gelato was a pleasant surprise. Overall I really like this place and can’t wait to try it for breakfast. It looks like they have a good menu. The coffee alone will keep me coming back though.

I had some spare time before my sons haircut so I stopped here since it was next door. This place is so cute and peaceful. I ordered coffee and a bagel, and the lady brought out fresh fruit with it for my baby. She was very kind. There was a book section with children’s books as well, so we read them while I drank my coffee, which was delicious. We had a great experience here

I love this little spot! They have great food, drinks and so many different flavors of gellato that change daily. There is even a loyalty program for perks. The really nice lady that owns it is always there with a big smile on her face and an incredibly friendly personality, just like her employees! I try to stop in for a pint of ice cream at least once a week to treat the kids.

He gave us informative answers and went to the back THREE TIMES for info for us. Very coolSecondly, the food was dope. The panini was very flavorful, the curry bowl was thick but great, and the moon milk (made with in-house oat milk!) was Interesting! I would order again, for sure!I can’t justify giving a 5 star rating to a place that serves dead animals or their excretions, so I give 4 stars

Walking into this place made me realize how nice a quaint and clean atmosphere makes a huge difference in perception. The background music and light modern decor brings an interesting charm and welcoming vibe that can not be duplicated.We were greeted by the clerk who was happy to have my wife try many samples and was patient the entire time. Once we picked our flavors, we were shocked to realize that he was doing a 20% off special during this COVID time today. It was a great surprise and was a very nice gesture.Overall, this place is quaint and fairly priced with wonderful staff and gelato. We will be back for dinner to try some of their other menu items. Great first impression!

Nice cafe place with cute decor of chimes and dream catchers. We ordered their vegan burrito and vegan avocado toast -- both were delicious. Also tried their vegan rose and vegan roasted almond gelato, they were nice too. They have a small little corner for story books and games.

I loved this place! The food and drinks are delicious, but then I started to see signs that the owner was mistreating the employees verbally. Today I went there for coffee, and food with girlfriends and before they got there, the owner yelled at an employee right in front of me, who asked a question. Then continued to vocalize her distaste in front of me, and the other customers. The employee rightfully stood up for herself, and then the owner continued to yell at her, for all of Javalato to hear. I sadly will not go back. I loved this location, but I will not support the mistreatment of an employee. People deserve respect and kindness.- Misty Weatherford

Love it! The best thing about it is that they have vegan options. I personally am not vegan but my best friend is, and I love that they have options for both of us. They have the best gelato in my opinion.

I went to my daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner, that she had planned weeks in advance, and this people ruined it. My daughter took the time to ask us for food orders weeks in advance, and it appears that the restaurant lost the orders. They served one person in our table, not without us asking for the food before, because it had passed over a good 45 minutes already, and he had to eat alone because they never served the rest. Also we ordered drinks and they told us that they didn’t have the ingredients for our drinks.Two hours and half later, the waitress came to ask us what we had ordered weeks ago, and since no one remembered what we had ordered, and everyone was really upset, we told her to bring whatever she had, and we were hungry. They still took more time, It was a complete disaster, when they came with food that we didn’t order, they ended up boxing must of the food because it was soooo LATE, and we had to leave to other engagements. COMPLETE FIASCO! They ruined the day! I won’t give them less points because the system doesn’t allow me, but I am still very upset. They gave us a lot of excuses, that the cook had walked out on them two weeks before, that they were short staffed…JUST EXCUSES! They never notified my daughter. You should have let her know you weren’t able to perform….we were about 30 or 40 people and everyone was nice and waited hours, HOURS FOR THE FOOD, the only reason we didn’t walk out is because we didn’t want to make it harder for my daughter, and she was mortified, saying sorry to everyone. What a horrible experience they made us to go through! MORTIFYING! This was supposed to be a private engagement, and since they took so long to serve, they opened the place to other customers and people were just walking in and ordering their food. YOU PEOPLE RUINED OUR DAY!

I cant give this place the praise it deserves. Its calming atmosphere, chill instrumental music, library in the back, wonderful comfortable seating, and amazing loose leaf tea. I will be back as much as I can.

This place is soooo cute! The entire shop is aesthetically pleasing. They have a lot of vegan icecream options thats not just sorbet 😍 theres also some vegan food menu items. The owner is super sweet and adorable. It was also really affordable, which was a pleasant surprise (only $4.85 for 3 large scoops!) Love that I dont have to drive all the way up to Denver for some good vegan food and love that theyre open until 9! I feel like that is very rare for icecream shops. I cant wait to take all of my friends and family here the next time I visit!Update: Tried their vegan burrito and it was bomb!

This place is ridiculously good. They make the gelato in house and it is apparent!! I struggled to pick only 2 flavors to eat because they were all so good. As soon as I was done I wanted more! I ended up with red velvet and pistachio cheesecake. Honorable mention for the pineapple and lemon basil. The decor and vibe is very welcoming and chill. I could see myself spending quite some time here once this quarantine is over. They also serve boba and the food looks amazing. I will most definitely be a regular here!

Great selection of gelato... even vegan. But incredibly ridiculous that I ordered coffee (cold brew) and then was told AFTER that I had to pay 50 cents for cream. Seriously thats absurd. Its coffee and many people have coffee with CREAM and sugar. It doesnt even clarify this in the menu.

If you’re trying to sit down and eat here with a family and wait for an hour for just a drink and gelato,go ahead. They’re so unorganized! Just terrible management. The staff is over worked and overwhelmed at the same time. Me and my family have gone three times this week, sat at the same table and the table was never cleaned! It had the same ice cream stains and just sticky. They need to hire more staff.

Came all the way from L.A. for a wedding reception dinner and witnessed some of the worst catering service. You would expect to eat together with your family and your new family at a wedding reception dinner, but that wasn’t the case at this venue. All of the meals came much after the event start time and at different times with very long waits in between servings, which is why no one ate together. Very sad. The waiters seemed very overwhelmed and over worked. It appeared to me that this place was not well equipped for a group this size and out of courtesy should have informed the bride and groom. My meal actually never made it in time. The event was over when they had just begun to prepare it, so I told them that I would go to the Target store across the parking lot and come back to pick it up. Of course I never got to enjoy a fresh meal and once I did get to eat it at my hotel, I was further disappointed by their overly cooked dry salmon. Another flaw I noticed was that they where allowing other customers to enter the cafe and order which overcrowded and slowed down the event even more. Very unprofessional and unorganized service. It is irresponsible of the owner to have allowed this. Please don’t have your events here. You will leave very disappointed.

Visited with my parents for a Sunday breakfast. We all got coffee with our breakfast. Parents are vegan so they ordered vegan avocado toast and a vegan breakfast burrito, I ordered myself a normal breakfast burrito. The presentation was fantastic, ambiance was pleasant, and the food was tasty! Customer service was great.I will be returning.

Im so happy this little café/coffee/gelato/boba place is in my neighborhood! I love being able to add CBD to just about anything, it really helps my day. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere is so inviting. I love what they have done since opening! I was actually blown away to see theyve even started serving alcohol. Im so glad to see theyve survived and thrived even in these uncertain times.

If you like Gelato this is a great place to start. They have a great selection and the taste is wonderful. However, that is not all they have. Their menu for breakfast and lunch will suit most people and their coffee is above average. Pricing is a bit high, but understandable due to location in a new building. The staff is OK, and the primary reason for the 4-stars. A bit of customer service training may be in order. The facility is comfortable with lots of room and Wifi, so it is a good place to go for a meeting or to do work. The staff seems Covid-19 compliant, but they allow customers to violate social distancing while not wearing face masks. However, they do have outdoor seating for those who wish to not push their luck. So if you want a goid snack or a great Gelato to go, this is one place to remember.

This is a gem in Colorado Springs. Its a quirky and fun, yet also elegant cafe/eatery. The pillows make it cozy and fun. But the food! The food is amazing. So far, I have had the kalbi beef, zucchini sausage soup, five spice soup, and curry soup. I loved every dish. The five spice soup is definitely spicey, so if you are a spice wimp, you may want to try the zucchini and sausage soup. I loved the noodles in the 5 spice soup. Theyre the best rice noodles Ive had. I heard the owner makes them. This soup has tender beef brisket and fried tofu in it, as well as some veggies. What a filling and delightful soup! ALL the soups have been hearty and tasty. Tanya knows how to mix her herbs for the best flavors.I have friends who will go for lunch and stay for dinner. The variety of food is insane! You can get avocado toast, an everything omelet, noodle soup, curry, meatballs, club sandwich, teas (soooo many teas), Italian soda, boba, AND the best gelato in town!I also love that she has the entree + drink + gelato deal. Its a great deal! (All entrees can be made into the deal except the kalbi beef).Tanya is a talented chef whose menu is deliciously culturally diverse.

Even though it takes a little bit longer to make, every second of waiting is totally worth it! I love their range of dairy free, egg free, and gluten free options, and I am so grateful for their vegan gelato!! Girls outing to celebrate my moms birthday at Javalato. What an excellent choice! We each ordered different menu items, and everyone was pleased with their meals. Good sized portions with some to take home for some of us. We appreciated the effort made to present food that was top quality and a little healthier.Limited menu currently, but they will be expanding it soon. I personally don’t really like it... it’s all bland food and expensive prices. And every time I’ve gone the employees have been really rude or they just don’t talk at all. Granted I did go about 4ish months ago so they could have new employees and maybe changed the menu up. But last time I went it was all kind of bland and really expensive.

My first time in and was not disappointed. A vast variety of options from tea to coffee, gelatos and food. I got an espresso cold brew and breakfast sandwich. The picture presented did not show justice on how delicious that sandwich was. Ill be returning whenever Im in the area. Highly recommended for those steering away from Starbucks or trying a new coffee place

They are SUPER stingy with the boba pearls that they put in their Boba teas. I thought maybe it was just that they ran out and only had 5 bobas left, and returned again to find out they are always that cheap with the boba pearls. Don’t go here. Very stingy, and not very good. Looks like the Amazon flavor power as well.

First off, the coffee was delicious. This place was so neat and different. Meals with a drink and gelato ice cream are very reasonably priced. I only had a breakfast burrito but, next time Im trying the 5 spice spice noodle bowl because that looked so good, and the person next to me loved hers. The gelato is also very good. The ambiance was great and so was the service. I dont know the ladys name but she was very kind. Ill definitely be back.

This is a hidden gem! The staff have great suggestions and they have an extensive menu. The gelato is addictive and every flavor I have tried has been amazing. Kids menu, good coffee drinks and so much other stuff I want to try.

I would like to first state that I think this is a very calming and well decorated establishment. I love the books, the music, and the atmosphere. They also have great gelato and acai bowls. However, my mom and I have gone here several times and we have often been served bad drinks or food that likely had expired ingredients in them. My mom ordered the boba once and it had tasted like it had gone bad, she did not want to finish it. This last time I had ordered the breakfast sandwich and the eggs looked, smelled, and tasted like it had gone bad as well. We asked for a replacement and were told we would not receive one. We are disappointed and will be unlikely to return.Edit-In response to your comment, we were not looking for a free açaí bowl. The eggs had appeared bad in taste and smell and so I told the employee at the counter. He had asked if we wanted it remade but because I was unsure of the quality of the eggs I had instead asked for an açaí bowl. You had not addressed the issue with us personally and instead stayed in the kitchen. You had not even checked the eggs and instantly told the employee it was made fresh and that you would not replace it. We would have gladly payed the difference but you had not even talked to us. This is the whole story from my perspective, I can understand your perspective seeing as you stayed in the kitchen. But that is no reason to be rude.

Tried the nova lov spread bagel and the taro bubble tea. The bagel was a different take on traditional nova lid, I really enjoyed the lemon on top. The bubble tea want super flavorful but still delicious overall. The boba itself was sweet and cooked to perfection. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very nice as well, lots of comfortable seats and books everywhere to read while you wait. Highly recommend going if youre in the area

Best hot chocolate Ive ever had. It was served at the perfect drinking temperature. We also had Gelato, the mago and red velvet was great. I also got the green apple but it was sweet when I was hoping for sour. Makes sense because its all natural. Overall loved it and would highly reccomend

Lived down the street for almost a year now and went for the first time tonight to do takeout. We got the vegan panini and vegan noodle bowl. Was convinced to get vegan ice cream so we got mint chip and cookies and cream. The food was phenomenal and we will be going back again this week. Tough to get good vegan options in the springs and this is a go to now. The woman that helped me was awesome!

Customer service is great! I had the vegan spicy noodle soup and it was good, I was pleasantly surprised. The gelato is really good, all made there and they have vegan options too. Definitely recommend.

This place is wonderful. Great to spend an afternoon, lunch, coffee and gelato for desert. The menu is amazing for any dietary restrictions and the staff is happy to modify things to help you out. The environment is relaxing and fits well for a sweet date, or a study session. This is for sure a new regular spot for me.

I LOVE Javalato. If I could rate 10 stars I would. Its that hidden gem you find and you cant stop revisiting. Everything that Ive tried at Javalato from the club to the gelato has been absolutely amazing. If youre a foody and looking for a place to fall in love with you wont regret stopping by.

Javalato might be the cutest cafe I’ve seen! It’s beautifully decorated with soft, calming music & has vegan options! The twilight moon milk is magical & I love the variety of gelato, coffee, and food for breakfast/lunch/dinner. It’s a bit out of the way for me, but 100% worth the drive.
