Best breakfast burrito in the springs, maybe in Colorado. The coffee was fruity and bright. I love their espresso as well, goes great in lattes. I always visit every time I come down from Denver!
Love this place! They have incredible beans. My personal favorite is their single origin natural process Ethiopian (for my fellow picky drinkers). B3 has a warm, loving atmosphere and stewards to match!
Really good gluten free food. Great coffee. If I could score them more stars I would. The lady taking our order was very patient with my mentally disabled brother. She talked with him. Allowed him to take his time. And never once looked to me to help him. Even though there was someone waiting behind us. Outstanding!!!!
This is an awesome place for coffee. The hallway part of this shop gives a good private conversation spot. The coffee is good and the pastries look yummy!
The best coffee in Colorado Springs and probably in the state. Ive tried many coffee places in Colorado and this one is my favorite one as of last week. Ive been ordering the beans for my morning espresso at home. The scent and the taste are extraordinary.
Excellent! Absolutely wonderful staff, food and coffee. I have met both the husband and wife that own the business. The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well with both of them and their care for customers and personal engagement is impressive! Go here, give them your money! on a personal note, I called on a weekend and asked about the process of how and where they get there beans to be sure that it was as close to a gluten free product as you can get with coffee (its hard to guarantee due to processing facilities) and they were able to tell me that they got to see the whole process. It was re-assuring for us as my wife has celiac disease. So in closing, Great folks!
This is a super cute place. An old elementary school was turned into a gathering place. This coffee place took over one class room. Although there were quite a few people in the coffee house it was quite. It seemed to be the place to study and why not so was a school. There space is simply decorated which gives off a sense of relaxation.Their food and teas and coffees were perfect. If you are looking for a laptop coffee house this isnt for you becuase plugging in will be challenging. Instead bring a book or a friend. Sit down, lean back and enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee.
Very open and well lit space, its modern and comfortable. The barista is fantastic and the coffee itself is really good. Their americanos alone are a step above the average. They do have vegan foods/desserts and have their own roastery with a decent selection available as well as granola.Overall its a lovely place and I can see it becoming one of my new favorites
One of the best single source providers of coffee and coffee beans in town. I buy all of my unground beans here and have since they opened. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the owners are just great people. If you need an excellent cup of coffee or just a great place to hang out, work or reflect, you wont be disappointed.
Unique schoolesque atmosphere. Ive had very friendly and personable experiences with the staff the few times Ive been. Coffee is tasty. The fifth star would come with some comfier seating. Its all metal and hardwood, and maybe some plant life or something. Just to bring what used to be a school classroom into something that feels a little more welcoming. That and they were out of breakfast borritos at breakfast time (which I know is maybe overly critical, but its the little things)I do like the location, staff, and coffee! Good job!
While the espresso that I had at the store itself was fine, the real ringer were the beans I bought. Very much worth it.
On a work trip and stopped by for a visit. The espresso was delicious! Got a chance to talk to the owner (Sean) as well. Super nice guy! The atmosphere was great, and the baristas were all very friendly. I will definitely be back when I am next in town!
Wonderful coffee shop! Very cozy! They enforce social distancing and have sanitizers available. Great spot to work from and for those that care, they do have vegan options, too!
Awesome place to linger with an old friend or new friend. Very friendly service. Good food. Coffee is roasted on site.
Great local spot. Love getting bread next door at the bakery then stopping in for a coffee. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Coffee is good, although a little over-priced. Not a good selection of teas. Nice hip, minimal ambience. Staff friendly. (Baked goods are much better next door at Nightingale!)Update: less enchanted with coffee & baked goods really arent worth it. Id give it a 3.5 stars if I could. I was happy they provided a high chair though!
Seriously some of the best coffee in the springs. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Great coffee, and a very live and healthy environment.
Great coffee and great atmosphere, staff are lovely. Would be 5 stars except the other day I saw someone (who i was then told is one of the owners) walking around and interacting closely with customers without wearing a mask. He was behind the counter without a mask also. Makes me question how seriously they are taking COVID precautions. There was no signage for masks either.
Take it from a local, this is the best choice shop in town. Great coffee, staff and environment!
Their cold brew with a shot of vanilla is AMAZING! Best cold brew I’ve had. The stone fruit cake was really good too! Definitely recommend sitting outside to take in the view of the mountains. Beautiful.
During the pandemic, I ordered lots of coffee from their website and it magically appeared on my porch the next day. (We are local.) When the world feels crazy, starting my day with Jesus and delicious coffee has been so nurturing to my soul. Sean and Jenna are some of the kindest, most generous people weve ever met. Their love for Jesus and the community is evident in the way they run their business and the way they are so quick to love and serve people. We LOVE Building Three Coffee!
I have been a loyal Building Three customer for years, both in their excellent space and taking their beans home for my own pour-overs. Highly recommend!
This is one of my favorite spots! The baristas are always super friendly and the coffee is delicious!
Best coffee in town.*08/21/20 Update: Just stopped in today and received the coffee pictured. It’s 3/4 full on top of being half ice. It’s impossible to drink the coffee with the lid on because the ice blocks the opening. I had to wait until I got to work to take the lid off.I used to refer my clients from out of town here for good coffee but can’t any longer. It’s sad this will no longer be a staple for myself or what I’ll recommend to my clients.
I love that the Springs has more local cafes. Cool spot located in an old, repurposed elementary school. Inviting space, friendly staff, and a great pour overs. A great spot to hit just before heading next door for a haircut. The breakfast burrito is super tasty and goes well with the latte. Often quite lively. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Free WiFi, too.
Caution--the baristas repeatedly wear their face masks under their nose or chin. This not an accident. Other Google reviews reveal that the management seems to support this uncaring behavior. They claim to address the issue, but the carelessness continues.
Slow slow service and you dont get what you pay for. Small portions not worth the money. Took 10 min to get a bagel and the large coffee was only 10 oz.
The coffee tastes weird but the employees are great. Specialty drinks are alright, but plain coffee just doesn’t taste right, not sure why. It’s weird because they roast the beans in the same building, or so I’m told. Also I thought everyone that worked at restaurants were required to where masks. Although I was served through the window I could see inside the workers were not wearing them.
I had a maple bourbon vanilla latte. It was delicious! The staff is so welcoming.
Love this place! Great coffee and nice people
Great design and great drinks in a perfect location.
First time here. Great customer service and coffee. Excellent homemade syrups to complement the perfectly roasted coffee. Interesting, hip place. Would recommend.
My main go to coffee shop! Airy and spacious, family friendly and of course delicious coffee! Such a pleasant, beautiful atmosphere.
Very charming, cool space. Coffee was excellent. Friendly service. Thank you!
The coffee is decent, but I’m more concerned with their mission as a company. As a devout Christian, I want to support businesses that reflect my beliefs and value, and this company simply doesn’t. Jesus taught us to love one another and put others before ourselves. But the owners of this coffee shop have decided they’d rather pocket profit instead of taking care of their employees. I’ve heard from some of my friends and family members in the community that they threatened to fire employees who applied for unemployment during Covid-19, an unbelievably heartless and hypocritical act that doesn’t reflect Jesus. Shame on them. I will never, ever visit their shop again, and I hope other Christians will join me in doing so.
Awesome place to get a good coffee and get some work done. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, WiFi is very fast, and coffee and food (especially the burrito) were delicious. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the bench seating along the wall could use some cushions to soften the seats. Love this place, will definitely come back.
So far Ive had both the cold brew and the bourbon pecon latte... 5/5 would reccomend. If youre hungry, go for the breakfast burrito with the green salsa. The staff is really nice and enjoyable and they offer a military discount. I dont come here often, but when I do I always leave satisifed.
I LOVE this place. Quality coffee, outstanding pastries, and great customer service. Plus its extremely well priced, and very cute :). Brandy was outstanding and awesome to talk to. Im from Denver, and this beats any coffee shop there!
The people here are always super nice and their coffee is delicious. Great atmosphere as well
This place is super cute but VERY small. My friend and I got Honey Vanilla Lattes which tasted good but wasnt very strong on the espresso. I would recommend this place!
I just came in on a recommendation from friends at Urban Steam and Storybook Brewing (Ive been in before, but never stayed and really enjoyed my coffee --usually just meet people here briefly), and I had a cup of Salvadoreño coffee on drip. The coffee is a fantastic washed, mediumish roast, with up front pepper and subtle fruit. Previous experiences yielded good espresso-based drinks. No snobbery, just craft. Pricing is downright low (except maybe compared to Story Coffee Co).The barista was so kind as to tell me about the coffee, the business, the roasters/owners and the bean importer for this coffee. The owner recognized me from a previous job and even remembered my name (I was unable to return either kindness). The ambiance here is pleasant; there is room for socialising at a community table or among couches, and there are smaller tables lining the walls appropriate for getting some work done behind the gentle hum of the goings-on. Its about 1:30, and its fairly full of people, with a slow but steady stream of new guests coming in the door. The location in the Lincoln School is ideal.
They have a great macchiato and a fun environment
Perfect local coffee spot for folks with dietary restrictions. Had so many dairy alternatives to choose from including whipped cream alternatives! Settled into a comfy chair and enjoyed the quiet space with my sweet potato latte (with macadamia nut milk subbed) and enjoyed a gf, vegan chocolate chip cookie.
Awesome friendly place. Lots of seating space to sit and chat or do work. Fresh baked goods and great coffee.
Our server is super friendly and explained well.
Average coffee, nice location
Building Three is amazing! Super friendly staff, Jeremiah was so kind!! Tasty pastries and homemade syrups for the coffee!!! It is a must visit in Colorado Springs!!!
Great owners who love our city. Top notch coffee
Theres not a lot of places where you can get a good cup of decaf coffee, but Building Three Coffee is definitely one. Their coffee is so delicious that I have bought some to brew at home. The staff is also very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
In a town overflowing with great locally roasted coffee Building Three rises above the rest. The quality of their beans, whether you get a drip cup, a handcrafted pour over, or take them home and do it yourself is unsurpassed in this town. Their cafe is friendly and inviting. The staff is always pleasant and definitely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what they do. Location is wonderful and great views of the mountains make this a go-to spot.
The first time my boyfriend and I went was on a Sunday. We didnt know our only option was coffee and tea so someone had to tell us, and it is paid by donation. We didnt understand why they would be open if they dont actually want to be open/do their full menu. Looking at their blog, the money goes to charity, which is a nice idea, but the experience was confusing.I emailed them about displaying art and they never responded.Another time we went my boyfriend got a cold brew and it tasted bad. To me it tasted like a kick to the throat, he just said it was very tangy. Im not sure if it was made with a light roast, but cold brew is supposed to be much smoother and this was not. He couldnt even finish it.The shop is cute, the employees were nice.
Unique place with lots of character, a variety of coffee creations, and plenty of seating. Will definitely frequent this place and also explore the many nearby establishments adjacent to Building Three Coffee.
I love this place. The coffee is superb, the staff is friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is great for both work and conversations! Definitely recommend!
A comfortable and bright space. Good coffee and snacking (including gluten free), all well presented. My personal favorite is the the mocha ... a crisp bittersweet edge with a touch of saltiness.
This is the best coffee place in town. Americano is super solid...and the staff is incredible. Owner is one of the coolest guys I know. So thoughtful and full of integrity. He has such vision for being more to the community than just another business. Simply fantastic all around.
Friendly staff. Good coffee. Comfortable atmosphere.
One of the best atmospheres for a coffee shop! They border a very nice bakery and a cafe that serves delicious food. Great view of the mountains as well with outdoor seating
Cool setting. Inviting staff
What a cool little place! I think its really neat to convert an old elementary school into a shopping center. The coffee was really good, and the young lady behind the counter was very nice.
Love the owners!! The atmosphere is very hip for the coffee scene. They know their coffee and love their community. The location is super sweet. Its in a renovated elementary and next to some other hip shops. Check them out.
Great coffee, super cool location, great service, and I loved the music they were playing which is always a big thing for me at coffee shops.
The coffee and prices are pretty average. Nothing to marvel at. Amazing space though! Peaceful, quiet, and rustic. A great place to get away, read, work, and enjoy a nice warm cup of Joe. I recommend it!
Great coffee in The Springs with friendly staff.-Some of the best coffee in CO Springs-Not Starbucks / Dutch Bros.-Friendly Staff (seriously thank you)-Comparable to some of the better places in Denver-Unpretentious & inviting environment-Large open spaceThank you!
BEST COFFEE. The sweetest people. Im a photographer and I edit my photos at Building Three once a week.
Great drinks and delightful service. I always enjoy showing people this coffee shop for its atmosphere and drink choices.
This place is incredible, The coffee is roasted in house and its good coffee. Though it can be hard to find seating. There are also a lot of cool places attached to the same building like a bakery. There is more than enough parking which is very good.
I work down the hall and come here for coffee all the time. The employees are always friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the coffee is always excellent. I recommend the chai, the cortado, the pumpkin loaf, and the apple muffin.
Jeremiah is a fantastic barista! As always, the coffee was amazing!
Every time I walk in to this place the employees have a mask around their chin. They have a complete disregard for the health and safety of others.
Excellent, strong coffee and laid back urban atmosphere. Average prices. Clean. Cool location in a repurposed high school.
Great coffee (roasted literally 15ft away). Fair moderate prices. Knowledgeable batistas. Nice, bright, high-ceiling atmosphere. Built into a converted old elementary school with a bunch of other cool businesses.
Hip, comfy, and wonderful coffee!!!! Breakfast burritos are also amazing. Run by great people. On a super cold day I ran down with my dog and they let him chill inside instead of freez! My only suggestion is add another comfy chair section:-) The last few times we were down the area was full and I prefer to sit in a cozy chair to at a table!
Nice customer service:)
One if my favorite coffee spots in the Springs. A latte with the breakfast burrito (highly recommended) are my go-to for breakfast on my way to work in the morning. Their early hours during the week (6 am) makes it a perfect spot to grab a coffee and breakfast on the way in to work if you are an early bird.
Awesome community conversion. Love the idea and scones. Super pleasant staff
Great spot- excellent coffee and amazing people who forge beautiful relationships with growers in various countries
Great staff. Nice atmosphere . Truly enjoyable coffee. I will definitely be returning!
Love the fact that its part of an old school revitalization. Only open since July of last year, this place has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee was great as well!
Great coffee! I love getting the London Fog.
$9.20 for 2 sweet potato lattes. Not very tasty and too expensive. Came for the lavender latte but apparently it’s seasonal. I’m pretty sure you can buy the syrup year round. The music sucks.
Very hip and trendy. Beautiful space. The coffee was expensive for what I felt was just okay. Though the portions were large they didnt have just exactly what I wanted. If you are looking fancy and fun it is great, but for a simple latte maybe not.
Building 3 is my first choice coffee shop in Colorado Springs. I love the community centered environment, kind staff, delicious coffee and beautiful aesthetics!
