Thanks for taking over $1,000 of my money to buy as well as rent equipment for myself and my family, having me pay full price for being late. (I’ll own up to this as my own fault balancing being a father and taking care of my kid instead of returning your equipment on time and I was okay with this fee)- My issue is with you/your staff allowing customers to bully their way to be served over others as if they are more important. So on top of treating me like third class, allowing three people to be served before me that came in after me- I especially appreciate that you allow two of these customers showing up after me not only to cut the line but also to parade in the rental area without a mask like they own the place. No, you cannot have a referral nor any future business from me. Thanks for allowing my and my family’s safety off the slopes to be of no concern to you.

Walked into the store not knowing what we were doing at all and everyone was super helpful and knowledgeable. Walked out with the perfect set up at a fair price. These guys definitely earned my business for life.

Hands-down the worst base grind and structure I’ve ever seen in a “tune.” I asked for an aggressive base grind on my snowboard and what I received seems to have barely touched the surface. The structure is inconsistent or nonexistent on the majority of the base. It appears as if they ran it through the machine once and didn’t even look at it. I’ve been snowboarding for more than 30 years and I was an instructor for 15 years, and when I dropped off my board for the tune I made some specific requests that have been easily accommodated by the shops I’ve used in the mountains, but was told instead that they couldn’t do it because of the limitations of their equipment and the poor quality/construction of Never Summer snowboards like mine. Based on the many positive reviews of the store, it seems that they offer great service and other areas, but I would not recommend them for snowboard tuning.

Bought a 2020 model board, left it to be mounted, waxed, etc. Called to see if I could pick it up early and they had it ready so I came in to get it.The board was dirty, had some marks on it from whoever worked on it, and the rust on the edges, which accumulated from sitting in the shop, was still there even though we talked about removing it. I voiced my dissatisfaction and they agreed to fix it and I’d pick it up in a day or two.I called to check the next day and it was ready. I picked it up and they had completely cleaned and fixed every little detail I requested to be fixed. The board looks beautiful now and it was delivered with excellent customer service from salesmen to the shop workers. They took good care of me even though I complained. Says a lot

If you have never skied or been snowboarding before, make sure you come here to rent and ask questions. The team working on boots and rentals are super helpful and knowledgeable. I went with the wrong boots for so many years and came here to look and ended up buying a set of molded snowboarding boots which helped immensely. My wife always rents from here and prices are excellent.

Horrible experience with customer service from the owner, Rick. I bought boot heaters from this shop that malfunctioned and didnt fit properly, and asked for Rick when I arrived to solve the problem. He couldnt get on to the next customer quickly enough, brushed off my concerns about the fit of the boot with the heaters he installed, and refused to start with a new set of heaters even though I asked him twice to do so. He offered no apology or any remorse when I spoke to him about being treated so poorly. Being a Colorado Native with skis underfoot from the age of three, as well as a business owner dealing with consumers on a daily basis, I cannot support this business with such an abrasive person at the helm. I will never enter this store again.

I went skiing for the first time on Tuesday. I didn’t know a thing about it. When I went in Monday to get rentals, I thought I’d just pick up some skis, poles, boots in my size, and I’d be good to go... obviously not.Luckily, I had Ashley there to help me! She seemed genuinely excited for me to go skiing. She was thorough in explaining to me the reason for differences in the stiffness of the ski boots vs the flexibility of snowboard boots (I’d never tried either before). She was patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable! The following morning at Monarch, my friend was impressed I didn’t need help putting stuff on. Turns out I’m pretty good at skiing, too. :o)I live in the NE Springs. I initially came to this shop because of their prices, but I’m not going to go anywhere else because of the phenomenal customer service provided to me!Ashley — You are AWESOME!

I grew up in a high-service specialty sports retail business, and must say the Ski Shop always provides a high value experience the way my folks would want things done. The crew here found me just the right pair of skis and custom fit boots to my wide, high instep feet. The custom boot fit service made a world of difference for me. I just love the powder jacket I purchased here for ten degree days. Everything we have purchased or rented here has been first class. Rick and his crew at the ski shop are simply the best.Oh, almost forgot— the Ski Shop’s season rentals and a Monarch, Cooper or Loveland pass is totally the way go with kids. So much fun to see a good weather forecast and just decide to head to the slopes knowing equipment is dialed in and you can get first tracks if you want to. When the kids get good, the performance rentals take it to the next level. We had such a great year in 2018-19. Thank you, Ski Shop!

They did a great job on waxing my board! Ski techs seem very knowledgeable. I did get some very rude looks from an older lady who worked there, might of been cause I had my 10lb weenie dog in my arms.... maybe choose another ski shop if you have your dog with you.

The first boot he put me in fit perfectly but that did not stop Scott from bringing over several other boots to make sure I was making the best choice. I did end up walking out with the first pair he fit me with knowing that was the best boot for me as all other options didnt quite measure up to the first one. It was a very nice place. The staff was very nice and polite. I talked to two younger ladies, one who helped me greatly getting my next pair of snowboarding goggles and the one behind the counter at the register who also came right up to me and greeted me when I walked in. Their was also a very knowledgeable guy who helped me with the type of tune I needed for my board. I would recommend this place to any of my friends from the experience I had. My family and I are from the east coast and moved here not too long ago and thought we would try skiing! We came into the ski shop to get rentals and Daya helped us and was such a sweetheart. This ski shop is amazing! Absolutely incredible. I have flat and wide feet so it is hard for me to fit into ski boots here comfortably. I went in and Scott was great at finding me boots and being very patient while I try on lots of different pairs. I found some I thought I liked and bought them. After bringing them home figured out I didnt like them anymore, and so Scott worked with me again for hours the next weekend to find the right pair of boots.The customer service here is amazing, and they really know their stuff when it comes to skiing and boarding. They will also work with you to fix and help mold the boot to get it to fit if you ski on it and find something wrong. This shop is amazing! I would recommend Scott and the team to anyone that needs new ski gear.

I loved this place !!!!! Traded in my old snowboard boots and got store credit which was super great. I also had a great employee help me out his name was Spencer super nice guy and really helpful. He explained a lot about getting new snowboard boots and new insoles for the boots. Ended up getting a new pair of boots, that our my new favorite boots...... would never go anywhere else.

Very helpfull staff who were happy to help get me set up with an awesome new pair of soul sevens. They were running a bit of a sale at the time so I was able to get them $200 off, and my boots $200 off as well. This store doesnt really have any lower end gear, so if youre looking for a set up expect to pay $1200 to $2k.

I apologise for my initial review of being 1 star. My review should be 3 stars. The service is nice however pricing is a but much. Its family friendly but lacks the staff to attend to most folks.

I needed some new boots and I received amazing help from Scott. I have a high arched foot and its a challenge to find shoes that comfortably fit, much less ski boots. These guys are absolutely amazing, I cant recommend them highly enough. I brought them in a near dead Never Summer, she was covered in rust and random pieces of carpet (the general assumption is the board was flooded and left to die). I brought it in to see if the was anything they could do anything and hot damn, she looks like a brand new board. The staff is polite and professional and didnt feed me any bullshit about pricing or what would need to be done. Outstanding place to go for your ski and snowboard needs.

Have been going to the Ski Shop since I was a kid, and now I take my family here to get all of our Ski & Snowboard gear. The guys and gals at the ski shop really know what they are talking about and will never push you to buy anything that you dont need. There is no pushing to buy the newest/advance stuff on the market when they can find something that best suites you, your budget and your skill level. The service department is also top notch, always doing a find job on any tunes, waxes or repairs we have ever needed.

I bought new boots at the Ski Shop and am so appreciative of how much time Kevin spent with me to make sure I got the right ones. He also made numerous custom adjustments to the boots based on my feedback, how I ski, the width of my feet, etc. and told me to come back any time I had any issues. Unhappy experience.Main gripe:We rented boards and skis to take a ski trip in three days. We were to pick up the equipment in two days (the day before our trip). The associate assisting us recommended we come in as late as possible to ensure the previous renters returned the equipment and the store had time to maintain them before we showed up. He said they close at 7 so we planned on showing up at 6. Contrary to what the associate claimed, they closed at 4. They gave us a call around 3:50 informing us they close in 10 minutes and that they would stay open up to 10 minutes late if necessary. Unfortunately, we were closer to 30 minutes away so we wouldnt have made it. We stuck with our original travel plans and rented boards and skis at the resort. When we returned after our trip, we spoke with a store associate explaining the mistake of telling us they close later than they did and asked for a refund since we werent able to use their equipment. The store owner refused a refund claiming they would have stayed open an extra 90 minutes after their posted close time, which contradicts what the store associate said. Instead he gave us 50% rental credit.Secondary gripes:We had little ski and snowboarding experience so the associate had us try on boots for sizing. He had us spend 30 minutes trying on boots before telling us they have no boards left for rental during our trip. He offered high performance boards with no discount. After choosing boards, he let us know theyre out of bindings. Ultimately, we postponed our trip a day, which was fine. I just wish he had told us at the beginning.

I have worked at several ski shops during my collage years, and I was thoroughly impressed with their operation. The tune I got was fantastic, as was the customer service. The owner brought out a rocking horse for daughter while my wife tried on boots. The place is warm a lively. The less experience kids working there were being mentored by more experienced ones. I really enjoyed this place. I wish they carried telemark equipment, but I understand that the demand is low (Garmont is even getting out of the business). This place is up there with Larsons Ski and Sport in Wheat Ridge!

Having just moved to the Springs, we are constantly looking for family-owned businesses worth of our money. This is absolutely NOT one of those places. My family came in for ski rentals after having shopped for ski-wear here a few weeks before. Aside from the high prices, our experience in the retail section of the store was pleasant. The young women working there were polite and attentive, so we expected this same service when we went in for rentals. Instead, we were met by a short, dark-haired man wearing glasses who completely ignored us for the first 15 minutes while we stood just across the counter from him. Excited for our trip, we tried to make conversation with him about local ski resorts, but he rolled his eyes and reached over to hit a service bell that he made clear we should have used. Thankfully, a young woman came to help us, but we had to listen to this man (who I later found out is one of the owners) verbally harass his employee, speaking to her like a dog, and at times he would direct his attitude back towards us. He explained very simple paperwork to her over and over in front of us in a tone I would never let someone speak to me with. We got the impression that clearly this man needs to feel superior to someone in his life. Feeling embarrassed for the employee, I asked another employee to speak to a manager about the situation and she politely informed us he was an owner. I was shocked, but we just wanted to finish the rental process and leave at this point. One of my family members felt the need to explain to the young woman that nobody should be allowed to speak to her like that. She handled our comments and the situation very professionally, but I sincerely feel very, very sorry for anyone who has to work under this man. He took an experience that was supposed to be fun and exciting and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Needless to say, we will be taking our business to one of the other countless ski shops in Colorado. There was no excuse for his behavior.

I love this local gem of a ski shop. Great prices on a variety of gear, and a staff that is very informative and helpful during the shopping experience. Their repair and tuning department is the best in town.
