Loved this place. Definitely going back. There are so many things to choose from! The quality of chocolate is literally unmatched. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable & the chocolate was just out of this world. The flavor literally explodes in your mouth. I’d recommend trying their truffles and bark. 10/10

Bought a bunch of candy here including some truffles and chocolate-covered strawberries that were fresh and delicious. The staff was helpful and did not rush us in choosing, which was good because we were taking our chocolate selections very seriously in that moment. Everything we had was great for a taste while exploring OCC and Bancroft Park, and later for the munchies. Great place to satisfy your sweet tooth or to pick up some gifts for other chocolate lovers in your life.

We walked around looking at the library story today and stopped in to talk about the page that was posted at their store. The staff was so great with our kids at their stop! The kids were so excited to talk about the story and get a special treat here, well definitely be coming back! It made the kids day!

Cute little shop, and beautiful display of chocolates and candies. Their fudge is smooth and classic, and their chocolate was very well made. The chocoloate dipped orange peels are some of the best Ive ever had! Will absolutely be returning!

World famous. People from all over the country order from here. Whether youre local or visiting, this is a great spot to check out in the heart of Old Colorado City. This is the original store where the franchise started. They have fresh chocolates including some funky options like dipped gummy worms and dipped jalapenos that will melt your face (only available during certain times of the year). Many times you will be able to watch them make the chocolates and mixes in the cutting and assembly area in the front of the store. Could be fun to watch with kids.

Such an amazing selection! We had to try a little of everything and the staff was fantastic at making suggestions! Candied apples, hot cocoa bombs, truffles, toffee and cream filled chocolates of many flavors, yummy!!

The best customer service I’ve ever received. I called and asked for a 10 piece chocolate covered strawberries for my dads wedding. They had it ready within 30 minutes and custom decorated them without me even asking with no extra charge!

The lady gave me sea foam! I bought chocolates, & she justadded a whole bag of sea foam- it was delicious too! Plus, 2 or 3 doors down theres an AWESOME Mexican restaurant.

This was certainly a nice treat after walking around OCC. And the ladies working there were sweet and so helpful too! I had the chocolate dipped strawberries and the choc. dipped cheesecake - both were very good!

This place is ridiculous.My mouth is watering, writing this review, a week later, at 3:26AM. I just walked around with my mouth open and smiled for five minutes when I first walked in. We were on vacation. The apples alone, were amazing...This place, and THE PRESENTATION of the chocolate goodies, is a piece of art. Im serious. It reminds me of the reworked Zaharakos in Columbus, Indiana, that my great-grandfather (and many people and generations) had a hand in over the last century.Wonderful, beautiful, gorgeous CHOCCCCCCOLATE.I bought fudge mostly on my visit here. I teased the girlfriend with it and basically acted like a three year old taunting her with it, and brandishing it like a magic potion, that if swallowed, would make you a sugar-chocolate-super-hero.If nothing else, when youre in the area, just come in here like a little kid and stare at the main display case like you cant believe that all this wonderful chocolate is here, and youre about to eat ALL OF IT. Just smile. Just do it.

Excellent chocolate here no doubt. My only complaint is how they are handling covid restrictions. I get doing your best to follow the rules on occupancy but keep it consistent. People in line were getting edgy because they were supposedly only letting one group in at a time when another was st the register. The clerks all had different rules though, and so people were being told to get back behind the line, then at other times they would have 6 or 7 people looking at their delicious treats while others. It was overall not a pleasant dessert buying experience.

The chocolate is wonderful and the smell is inviting, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. An older gentlemen serving us actually yelled at my mother when she couldn’t hear him. It was so rude we actually looked at each other in shock. We are trying to support our businesses here in town but I don’t really want to come back as long as those are the kind of employees that are running the place.

This place smells good and tastes good. Theres so many Carmel apples and different flavors of fudge and chocolate even chocolate covered gummie bears. Awesome customer service.You get a club card and they even cut the apples for you. They were do good I had to get 2. It was neat to watch the fudge being made. The store is warm and inviting and who doesn’t love picking out some decadent handmade chocolates. A little spendy but that’s to be expected.

Helpful staff. Good variety of products with some free samples. Prices are a bit steep and parking can be a challenge but worth the trip to satiate your sweet tooth.

This is a dangerous place so visitors beware...you might have to be escorted from this place in the midst of a sugar-coma. This is one of those places where one has to exercise an extreme amount of willpower because it would be very easy to spend 100s of dollars and leave with a huge bag of chocolate. We have yet to try something that we didnt like.

This is the best location of theirs!!!! Absolutely awesome selection and good prices for holiday shopping. They are adequately staffed for multiple people coming in, which varies at their Citadel Mall location. Both are still great locales, though. And did I mention how amazing the chocolate actually is?! Some of the best chocolate (and fresh) that you can get in the state! Highly recommended.

My favorite place to go when I get depressed. I light up like a Christmas tree in this place. I really enjoy going here. Everyone is so friendly, courteous and so very helpful. Absolutely wonderful experience 💯

It was delicious, even after we brought it home several days later and finished all the remnants. So many delicious types of caramel apples. The truffles were delicious, i went for a grapefruit hibiscus. It was awesome and smooth inside and floral and fruity. And when we walked in we were welcomed with fresh poppycock cooling on a big marble table. We bought a bag off the shelf and that was delicious too. Wish we could visit more frequently.

I had the best apple ever from the store! I ordered the cheesecake apple and I want to go back and buy 6 more. My friend also loved his apple. They give out samples here which is nice. The staff is very friendly and willing to answer and questions.

Disappointing on so many levels!The shop itself is very inviting and convenient. The selection looks great, but after one bite we almost broke our teeth! My reviews are very fair, and it takes a lot to give a 1 star but here goes.We purchased a Carmel apple, some truffles and some chocolate. All was so hard that the plastic knife broke in an attempt to cut them in half! The truffle and chocolate was so hard that we almost broke our teeth.We called to complain and were offered a refund but we never went in to get it.We spent almost $20 on a Carmel apple and a few pieces of chocolate and truffles that were so hard we actually threw them away.Sorry but we will never go back! We did however find another local place for our sweets. Read my reviews.

Greatest store on earth

Amazing local made chocolate creations, various flavors, great selection for every taste.

I wanted to order candy for my mom during the pandemic and Maize went our of her way to help me. I ordered from this store from my home in Missouri, to ship to my mom in Kansas. I wanted to surprise my mom and this store went above and beyond with the order. Thank you so much and I will continue to order from here.

We have been coming here for many years, and each time we enter, it smells like heaven. They have redecorated and their caramel apple display is over twice as large. They have a great selection, and there has never been anything but quality each time. Addictive!

My favorite is the tiger butter and the Apple Pie apples. Prices are moderate but the quality is 5 stars. An especially good stop on First Fridays!

I’m a local who goes in here a lot and I’m just going to be upfront I only ever go in there really fast for chocolate because I do not have time for rude environments. Every single time I’ve gone in there the manager( lady with brown hair and glasses) did not say hi or acknowledged me walking in, one time I even tried to ask a simple question about the establishment and she didn’t even look at me gave me a half answer and walked away, she just kinda stands there writing in her book giving everyone dirty looks every time I come in literally every time I come in. Everyone else there is super sweet though, that’s why every time I go in I literally pray I don’t see her and can just run in without being stared down.

Best place to get chocolate anywhere

This place was fantastic. I was curious about marzipan and a worker allowed me to try it. The workers were very kind and the chocolate and marzipan are significant.

Every visit we make to this place (from our native Dallas, TX) we visit Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! Nice folks, beautiful city. You get to see the chocolate goodies made right in your face. Lots of sampling and happy times my family has made here. A must visit in Old Colorado Springs!

Absolutely amazing locally made chocolate. Many of the items you see are made right in the store. They also make their own candy apples and various popcorns. These items are exceptionally made, and the price point is commensurate with that. Local staff. Local owners. Great food.
