This company provides great customer service and Mitch did an excellent job fixing my German shrunk piece!! Mitch also made a drawer cover for me on short notice and matched it perfectly with the other drawer. I am so pleased with the results and would recommend him for all your woodwork needs.

Did a really horrible job on my cabinets in my home and took my money with a horrible result. They are taking me to court instead of just doing the job properly in the first place since I canceled my check after not completing the work. Never do business with these guys, very unprofessional and can’t take responsibility!

When my family and I moved to Colorado Springs one of my big priorities for the new house was closet space. It seemed like none of the big closets could fit organizers or dressers though. We decided to have custom cabinets for the master bedroom closet space made by Heartwood, and now we have EXACTLY what we wanted. I thought custom cabinet space would be a weird request, but the Heartwood crew knew what they were doing. Im very happy with the results.

Vic and Mitch helped me out with a custom wood refinishing project. It was so specialized that I was having trouble finding anybody with the expertise to complete it. The work involved some water-damaged, 50-year-old walnut paneling. If that wasnt intimidating enough, all of it is curved, including a single 20-foot-long piece of walnut used as a balustrade or handrail for a spiral staircase. But these two know their stuff. And handled everything with personable, knowledgeable experience and aplomb. I highly recommend Heartwood Custom Cabinetry.

The team over at Heartwood did a custom set of cabinets for my garage/workshop. Not only did they come in under budget, but the cabinets turned out really nicely. Its allowed me to clean up my garage a lot. Im thinking about having them do another project for me when I remodel my kitchen next spring—I would happily deal with this company again. This company is legit. We had to have our kitchen remodel done by Thanksgiving giving us 3 weeks. We were having 22 people for dinner and partial completion was not acceptable. Heartwood got it done.When I read their reviews I was somewhat suspect as they had 52 reviews- all 5 star. I’ve never seen that before. I’ve worked in construction since 1980 so I’ve dealt with all kinds. When it comes to “meet or exceed customer expectations”, Heartwood was way beyond exceed on our kitchen.

We hired Heartwood to build the commercial cabinets for our offices in the Springs. Our offices are in an old building (early 1900s) and there are some funky corners and walls in the building, so we were a bit concerned about how everything would turn out. Heartwood not only knew exactly how to fit cabinets elegantly into the space, but they built us gorgeous custom cabinets. We get compliments on them from clients about every other day. This is a professional team with fair pricing. We were very happy with the results.

When going through the process of a building a new home in the Springs, you dont always walk away from working with contractors saying Wow, that was a really great experience. Unless youre working with Heartwood. Through the process, my husband and I kept commenting to each other how good the service was. AND they came in around our budget. Heartwood custom cabinetry has been working on our kitchen for 2 days. They are refacing our lower cabinets, and made custom upper cabinets.The fit and finish is completely substandard.If things change by the end of the project, Ill update this review.

I really wanted a custom bathroom vanity to match our rustic-style late 1800s home in the Springs, but my husband and I always assumed it would be way beyond our budget. What I loved about Heartwood is they gave us a range of options at different price points so that we could decide for ourselves what the trade-offs were within our budget. Tracy is one of the best local business owners Ive had the pleasure of working with. When you call a company for a bid on a refacing project, you dont expect the owner himself to come out and meet you to do the inspection. Tracy and his team at Heartwood treated me fairly and gave me a decent price for excellent work. My wife and I could not be happier with how the project turned out.

These guys are the real deal. They came out and were very professional, gave us a reasonable estimate, and completed the project a couple days ahead of schedule. Got our bathroom cabinets redone by Heartwood last week and could not be happier. The team was knowledgeable but also extremely friendly. Sometimes its hard working with contractors as a woman—some of them will talk down to you. But that was not at all my experience with the crew at Heartwood. They really valued and respected my input and took good care of my home. They also made me feel safe inviting them to come in and work on the cabinets. Really a top-notch company.

Custom cabinets are not always the cheapest option, but they can definitely spruce up a kitchen or a bathroom in ways that stock cabinetry just cant. If youre going to go the custom cabinetry route, then Heartwood is a great crew to go with. The guys that I met clearly had a big work ethic, a sense of responsibility and professionalism toward their customers, and were just generally positive people. They made the whole experience just very nice and easy.

Did an awesome job on the kitchen cabinet refacing job. They look brand new! I couldnt believe what these guys were able to do with 20+ year old cabinets. Since my husband and I moved to Colorado Springs back in 2017, weve now had Heartwood build us custom walnut kitchen cabinets, custom garage storage cabinets for my husbands tools, and now were having them build custom bathroom vanities in our master and guest bathrooms. Heartwood built a custom setup for us in our walk-in closet. We decided to stick with the dark wood theme we have in other parts of the house, including the bedroom attached to the closet. I have to say, we could not be happier with the results. The cabinets in the closet not only look incredible and match EXACTLY the stain we were hoping for, but the cabinets have really helped us get our closet organized. The finished product was well worth the price.

My experience with Heartwood was for a refacing job on my old kitchen cabinets. They took a little while to get back to my request for a quote (the owner said they had been busy with a bunch of other projects), but after they came and refaced my cabinets, I understood why they were so busy—this company does really exceptional work. I was happy to wait for it because it turned out great.

Cabinets really turned out nice. Installation time took a little longer than I had hoped, but I asked around after the project was finished and found out that the install time was pretty standard—actually, probably faster than average—given the scope of the project. Kitchen is my favorite room in the house now, in no small part because of the beautiful cabinets Heartwood made and installed for me. These guys rock.
