This Barnes and Noble in Colorado Springs was well stocked for Christmas gifts. I got a good start on my shopping today.

Great staff. Still wearing masks. Found the book I wanted.

Much more variety than books these days. Huge entertainment section (music, media, pulsating cards etc.) With shipping being a pain during Christmas, you can find plenty of stuff for the kiddos when it comes to STEM toys.

I love this Barnes and noble have been going there since I was a kid. Little pricey but pretty much always has want you want

I was looking for something very specific for a child, and an associate came back and helped go through a ton of books until we found one that would work. Always helpful. And dont forget your Godiva chocolate bar as youre checking out

They always have a diverse range of books to choose from. The displays are always changing and interesting to see. I like to go in an browse before selecting a book or two. The layout in the fiction section for YA made it a bit difficult to locate some titles as I didnt realize it was two sided due to the narrow gap in the back of that shelving unit.

Great selection, helpful employees, clean store. Wish the Starbucks wasnt permanently closed.

I just went into the store just to look around. I saw many books i will be getting here shortly. I bought a couple of books and the lady that helped me was awesome. I got signed up to their awards card. I love this book store, will be coming back in a few weeks

Always a great place for our family. When borders closed and went out of business at the mall this became our new spot and while it wont ever be the same, they still try to make it fun for the kids. After all, education should be encouraged and the fact they have a whole kids area not only made me excited, but my kids loved that there was an area just for them. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because a. No company is perfect, and b. Im not a fan of their prices. However that said I like to support any local bookstores I can find even if they are chains as reading is becoming a dying art.

Its a nice book store and got a lot of collection. You can read books there. Enjoy your quite time.

Felt Ill while shopping ...recovering from cardiac surgery....and my daughter asked if there was someplace I could sit down. Person behind the counter was 100% apathetic, and told my daughter I could lean against a shelf if I wanted. I think its safe enough for Barnes and Nobles to return chairs and sitting areas to their stores. After all....they have a sign at the front door stating masks are no longer necessary for those who have been vaccinated. (would like to mention as well that although the book I purchased was 20% off today, it was even $6.00 less than what I paid for it at Amazon)

Love the selection they’ve got here. Plus The games, toys, puzzles, stationary, electronics,knickknacks and brick brak section is always fun to peruse as well.😋

We love B&N! We go there quite a bit in the summer for books for the grandkids. They either always have the books we are looking for or they order them in within 3 to 5 business days. Ill always recommend them!

This store never seems to carry anything considered controversial, and they seem to have got rid of most of the stuff they used to have a few years ago. Notebooks that cost 30$? No thanks. B&N has made me a solid Amazon customer.

OK. But not the kind of place where you can sit and browse through books til you find exactly what you a looking for. For a bookstore, its not very welcoming. More of a get in, find your book, get out. For that, I can use Amazon and save on gas.

This Barnes & Noble is fantastic! I could spend so much time at this location. Theres so many collectables and fun things to look at. Great place to buy gifts for kids. They have awesome boardgames that are for 2 players (I find that most are 3+ players, so that was great). Theres also a Starbucks attached for all of you coffee lovers. All around fun place to be for both adults and kids!

This is always my happy place and I think the renovations make it look even nicer. I like the way the new shelves are arranged vs how they were before, it makes the store seem more open. Customer service is always pleasant and courteous.

I was honestly surprised as to how varied the occult/metaphysics section was here, I didnt expect to find so much variety in this part of CS.

I love that bookstores still exist. I enjoy having a place where we can touch and hold stories that are educational and dear to our hearts.

Couldnt find the books I was looking for. The cashier took me to where the series of books was at. She knew immediately that they were out of stock on one of them and offered to order it for me. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Theres a man that works there thats a bit older and tall. He and his hair are super nice. He seemed a little sad though. I kinda wanted to give him a hug.

BN used to be a bookstore that i loved. A vibrant and conversational venue despite its chain store format. Now its empty, cold, unfriendly and staffed with semi literate high school kids either glued to their phones or doing their best to be invisible.

Large store with a good variety of books.

I love Barnes & Nobles stores. However, this location tends to misplace their stock under the wrong price tag quite often. Speaking of price tags, a TON of items are missing them and it is frustrating having to continuously go to the front to figure out a price and waiting in line to do so. Apart from these issues it is a wonderful place but would appreciate if they improved on the issue presented. It is clean, smells great, and the staff is friendly. Starbucks next door is a plus!

Great place for books and fun and games. A place to get informed or just get lost to get away from the real world for a little bit. Glad its still standing from our upgrading digitized world.

Very nice selection, but 2 out of my 5 books were damaged. I recieved 20% off the one I noticed at the store so that was nice but came home and saw one more I didnt notice. But would definitely recommend it! I just needed to be more observant

I really love Barnes and Nobles atmosphere in general. I think they offer a kind of special ambiance that a lot of larger chain companies dont provide and it adds a lot to their authenticity. To add some transparency to this review, I want to mention that I have also worked for Barnes and Noble before and greatly enjoyed my time there. The clientele, coworkers and leadership were all fabulous. At other locations where I have visited but havent worked (like this one) I have found friendly and kind booksellers/cafe staff.

Still a good place to find the reading material you want.

Awesome place, awesome selection. Felt like I was a bit profiled after the 4th or 5th time, the same guy asked me if I was finding everything ok. AND OPEN UP THE MFn bathrooms already! Your the only store left in the Springs that has them shut down over covvid.

This was the first time Ive been to the Barnes & Noble in probably 10 or 15 years. I have to say that Im pretty disappointed and the prices show it you know we should go to a place called Half Price Books and get really good deals and we used to be able to sell them our unwanted books. We could either get cash back or just takes Credit at the store to get new books but I have a habit of reading a great deal and then we could Shelton back to the store it was wonderful yeah Im really disappointed in this NPR service there was one Checker with about 10 people in line and there was no sight of any of the books I was looking for

Cool place, but when I asked a worker for help she didnt seem like she cared about her job.

They have bathrooms and coffee.....but the most bizarre was they have books...that was a mind blower......what a really neato place

Called everyone up front cause the guy thought he profiled my brother and husbands as shoplifters.we so are not . I worked in retail my whole life and would never be so obvious 🙃

If you have a Nook and have questions, stay away from this store. Absolutely no help, no effort to find answers to your question, just tell you to either 1) buy a tablet and download the app (I am not kidding, thats what they told me) or 2) go onto the B&N website and research to see if there was an answer to your question. I was told by the two people I spoke with that there wouldnt be a Nook specialist in the store anytime soon and that B&N was not going to have Nook much longer because they are made overseas and they probably werent going to provide Nook support much longer either. I should have bought a Kindle years ago instead of starting with Nook. When I asked them how long B&N was going to support the app (they did tell me to buy a tablet and download the app after all), they told me probably another year or two.As long as you dont have any Nook issues or questions, this store is pretty good and the staff will help you find or order the book you want.

They reorganized and read their store it looks wonderful! Much easier to find things!

Was looking for adult coloring books and was told they are behind the counter. Impossible to browse them. I was told they are behind the counter because they get stolen often. I can browse through the Amazon books online more conveniently. The store is looking more and more vacant. Now they dont have a Starbucks. Dont waste a trip.

Very helpful staff. Helped me with an album that had just been released but hadnt made it onto the shelf yet.

CASHIER with long dark hair was rude and unprofessional. She glared at me with Stank face and seemed like she just wanted me out of the store. Didnt offer me a membership like she did the person before me, and I actually wanted one. Didnt bag my purchase or pass me my receipt. she stuck it in the book and stares at me waiting for me to leave. I said i,d like it in a bag please. She slammed a bag onto the counter top and made me bag it myself. I will not shop there again..

I love that I can find a book about anything here. Their pokemon card collection is amazing also.

The store is clean and spaced for social distancing. I couldnt find the specific childrens book I was looking for, but found a good substitute. Clerks were polite but didnt offer any help with the item I couldnt find.

They were able to take back the books we orderd and resend them to a correction facility

The space is well organized. The staff is nice. The different sections containg various texts covering a large number of topics. The also have toys, office supplies, and music. Next door is a Star Bucks coffee shop. They are going to undergo remodeling of the bookstore. Hopefully, the new configuration will take into account social distancing requirements to maintain health and safety. I like going to the store to see new literary arrivals.

I always love going to this store. Im an avid reader and I love adding new books to my growing collection.

Got a planner for 2021 and to my luck they are all 50% off. If only I kept up to date with my reward card here. Mine expired in 2003

Today was my first time going there with my daughters. I purchased 4 books. The only reason I didnt have 5 stars is because we never once got greeted by anyone, even when they walked past by us. Also, my daughters were looking at the toy section and I felt as we were being watched like if they thought I was going to steal. Made me feel uncomfortable.

Nice selection of books and other material

Ive always liked Barnes and Noble. Sure they put the mom and pop bookstores out of business but look at what Amazon is doing to them. Still there is a whole lot to be said about getting to feel the cover and read the first few pages of a book before you buy it.One day theyll put the chairs back in and well be able to smile at the staff and the whole experience of buying a book will become personal again. In the mean time thumb your nose at all this COVID mess and read a book.

Enjoyed coming to Barnes and Noble to get books. Will eventually come by again once I get the time and all this craziness calms down a bit more.

Barnes & Noble is remarkable in that its a brick and mortar store in the age of Amazon. The selection of books in stock is fantastic and the employees are friendly, professional and helpful. In addition to books, they have games, toys, vinyl and movies. If they dont have something in stock, they will special order it if its available.The biggest concern I have with B&N is that they are a chain store and I would usually prefer to buy from a locally owned business.Still, a great experience.

A very peaceful location with helpful employees. The store has a small coffee shop and several other locations to read and relax. My only concern is that they only carry one copy of most books. If I am looking to buy in bulk I can order what I need.
