We are now proud parents of a beautiful Goldendoodle puppy thanks to Corey and the Pet City team. The staff was a joy to work with. They were professional, knowledgable, and friendly.

Jame helped us and she was great. She made sure everything was good to go before we left. She explained everything to us in detail. Jame was great we will go back and continue business through Jame.

We just recently got out new little baby girl from there and the experience was great! Jami was awesome and helped us get the perfect pup for our son!

I had a wonderful experience here. Jami was absolutely phenomenal. She let me visit TWO kitties in a row (with plenty of time with each) to make sure I had the perfect choice. She has an insanely friendly personality that makes you feel almost like your picking out a pet from a friend rather than a business. She made sure I got everything I needed in the kitty starter kit and I even got to take my sweet boy home same night. Thank you Jami for bringing me the perfect addition to my family!

I came in looking for a puppy and I thought the prices were insane! However I did apply, unfortunately I didn’t get approved. But I worked with Edward and he is the go to guy if you’re interested in getting an animal. He let me play with every puppy I was interested in, guided me through breeds traits and information, was so friendly and upbeat, and tried his hardest to get me approved. The puppy I wanted required some sort of training on feeding it? As well as it needed a next day vet appointment which I couldn’t do because I worked the following day anyway. He right away informed me of these rules and went in to great deal about the importance of the policy and I could tell how passionate he was about the animals himself. Was very interested in making sure I got the right animal for me as I am a truck driver and work a lot. Go to Edward, he rocks!

There’s an employee there named Edward. He’s the sweetest, most fun, handsome guy there! He let me play with two puppies that I certainly could not afford but he told me I was helping him out by exercising the puppies. You can tell he truly cares for the animals and does an excellent job. The whole time I played, he was cleaning up their potty in their kennels and training another puppy. You are the best, keep being amazing guy!

The staff is friendly, too friendly, because all they care about is making a sale. Granted, it is part of your job, but when an employee is so focused on making a sale that he would forget people who needed to think about it first and then return a few moments later because he was ready to move on to the next customer is a little absurd for a shop like this. This place isnt terrible but it feels so fake, and most products are more expensive than your average pet store or not the best quality things you can find. The animals are absolutely adorable though, we even decided to pick up a ferret since they actually had some; I dont think Ive seen a ferret since before the COVID-19 pandemic began! They let you interact with the animals in a small room if youre considering to buy which is nice, even gave is more time than we were expecting!All in all, its not the worst but its not the best either. Definitely stop by to see some cute animals if youre in the Citadel Mall!

We bought our precious little Maltese (Buffy) two weeks ago. He has given us so much joy these last two weeks. Linda and Jamie were so helpful in finding just the right puppy for us. I went into the looking for dog toys and a fine Gentleman named Edward approached me and helped me pick out a few toys for my dog he was so helpful to the specific things I asked overall a great attitude the entire conversation. I was very pleased!!!!!!

We are so in love already with Fenrir our new ferret! Edward and Linda at the Citadel location were so patient and kind. They took time to make sure we had everything we needed, and explained a lot to us. Highly recommend!

I had bought my guinea pig Milkey Way just a couple days before my birthday at the one in the Citadel. The staff was incredibly sweet. I had stopped in the place twice and Jahlenna was the one who helped me both days. She was extremely sweet throughout the whole process of getting him. She helped me understand the basics of taking care of guinea pigs and what I should do. She took proper care of the guinea pig even when she was just handing him to me to hold for myself. I definitely recommend this place and working with her!!!

We were told by an employee that he would hold a puppy for us over night while I was applying for credit. They then sold the puppy to someone else that same day. They also said they would call me first thing in the morning and didnt. I had to call them, then give them sensitive info over the phone, including my ss # and birth date, just to realize I applied and had my credit checked for nothing. My 11 yr old daughter will be devastated that they sold that puppy out from under us.

First off I cant believe the prices they charge for mix breed non certified dogs! Second they rope you in by offering financing which in the end costs almost twice as much as the initial cost. My daughter bought what she was told was a Shiba Inu which was actually a Shiba Inu America Eskimo mix, false advertising!. They also wanted $600 in order for my daughter to return the puppy because she realized she had made a mistake in buying a dog. These people DO NOT care about the well being of the dogs and are just running a business with profit over anything else. DO NOT buy from them! Thankfully I have her now and she is the sweetest thing ever but no one should pay that much unless they are AKC certified show dogs. Do not be scammed people!!

First, if youre going to visit this place, ask for Jahleene! She is wonderful and pleasant; knowledgeable and helpful. Her customer service is off the charts! If I could give her 100 stars, I would. I am so happy with my new dog. Yes, buying an animal from any pet store is expensive and takes time but I know I have a pure breed puppy up to date on all vaccines and already chipped. They also give you a starter kit with essentials for your new puppy to transition to their new home. And they have financing options too! I already cant wait to get another pup and this is where Ill be getting them from. They get their dogs from responsible breeders and they are all happy and and well cared for.

The staff is very helpful ! They never push you into anything.. Very clean store. Just over all great place to go and get puppy kisses !

We didn’t really now what to expect when we got there. But we were seen by Jamie she was extremely helpful and attentive. She helped us pick out the right dog for our family, and she ensured that the paperwork portion was thoroughly explained and quick. I think one dog is enough for us for a while, but I absolutely recommend.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of coming into your store and buying our new baby girl. The entire staff was so wonderful and understanding to help us entertain our two little ones while we did all the necessary paperwork in order to get our girl. I would like to thank the staff at Pet City in the Citadel for their wonderful service not only to me and Corey, in particular, who was just fantastic from start to finish of the purchase of our puppy. He took time to share all that would occur in the process down to taking us through the store and pointing out things we might (no pressure either) need for our new little one.I found everyone in the store quite excited and dedicated to not just the puppies but all the animals there.We left with a lot of information about our puppy starting with the breeder to the name of the food our puppy had eaten for his breakfast. I was so impressed that I received information about his current shots and medical care.The staff was caring and loving and I noticed spent time with all the animals not just the ones being looked at in the petting rooms.Quite frankly, I just asked Corey about procedures and not other staff members, but he knew everything I needed to know.I had read on the internet about buying puppies and I feel Pet City in the Citadel was exactly on target for a safe adoption. Besides, Corey even helped me to my car at the end of the sale! (which I desperately needed.) Thank you.

Got my new mini schnauzer from here yesterday. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They are also very informative about their finance options and walk you through the whole process. Jahleene was amazing. I would recommend visiting.

I’m so horrified. I thought buying puppies from a pet store was illegal now… they literally keep over a dozen puppies there in small cages without human interaction. They all looked so dreadfully sad. I can understand wanting a specific breed but this is disgusting and abusive. When asked if the dogs go outside to play, the associate told us NO, the puppies remain inside the shop until they are bought so they remain good on their vaccines. I burst into tears when I left because of how awful this is for these poor dogs. DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM A PLACE LIKE THIS!!!!!

Edward at the Citadel Pet City store is awesome. He helped me visit with three different puppies giving me the opportunity to find the one that I felt was the right fit for me and my lifestyle. I named him Bandit and he is adorable. So glad I got him. Also what was really nice is that pet city includes the first vet visit, sends you home with a crate, puppy food, toys, chews, a bed, probiotics and more. definitely recommend the store.

Really nice pet store. Had a great selection of different breeds of puppies. They had two kittens the week before but none today. No birds either time we were here which was disappointing. They have a few small pets. Store is clean and staff are very friendly

I JustI just called to get a price on a Shih Tzu puppy and they wanted $4700! Its terrible that these poor babies spend their early puppy months in a box because they are too expensive. It would be nice if prices were more on par with others so they could move them yo loving forever homes faster.

Buyer Beware: Stay away from this place. We just had the worst experience with Pet City. We went into buy a new puppy. They were over $2000 higher than any other competitor were listing them. We were able to get them to lower the price by $500 but when we got to the register they tried to sneak in all kinds of hidden upsells and things we did not agree too. They didnt even tell us they were doing it. Even worse they are supposed to include a Ready Set Go Kit with every puppy purchase. The sign is posted in the store.When we got to the register they refused to include the kit (even though there is a sign stating its included) and also tried to charge us for a couple of the items that were supposed to be included on top of it. Staff was very rude when I brought this to their attention that it was supposed to be included. They didnt say at any point when they initially lowered the price that it wouldnt include the kit or that theyd sneak in upsells or extra charges. They just tried to hide everything.Id also like to mention they tried to sneak this all past an elderly lady who was purchasing. But, fortunately we caught it. Shame on them.I cant with good conscience recommend this place. Instead go with a more honest place.

I was absolutely blown away by every aspect of this pet store- the staff was friendly, but not too pushy. The store was clean and the puppies seemed genuinely taken care of. Jami and Corey were both incredibly knowledgeable about each breed that we inquired about.

If I could give this place zero stars that’s the rating they would get from me. They don’t care to give the dogs a good home they are only about the money. Commission is what they want, they lie to you and make it sound good when your purchasing a puppy they even told to me lie about my monthly income while financing almost 6000$ For a dog when I make good money. So what I’m trying to say is they are liars and all they care about if money don’t shop here.

We had a great experience at Pet City! Initially, we intended to adopt and stopped by the pet store just to check it out and look around. We didn’t expect to purchase a puppy here, but we’re so excited that we did! Jami was very helpful, kind, and patient with us as we looked at and played with two puppies that we were torn between. Once we picked our puppy, Jami was also very supportive with the financing process, the paperwork, and getting our puppy kit together. We’re grateful for the awesome customer service, and we’re looking forward to being new puppy parents!

One of my favorite places to visit in the mall is this pet store. Everyone is always so nice, and it’s the best time just looking at all the animals. One employee, Edward, was very awesome because he kindly offered and allowed me to play with some of the puppies!

I had a amazing experience while shopping here. An employee by the name of Jahleene helped me with all my questions. She was very knowledgeable and was such a joy to speak to. Jahleene went above and beyond to help me decide exactly which type of pet would be a great starter pet for my child. She took time out of her day to walk through care instructions. Edward was a lot of help for me and my girlfriend, he helped us choose a puppy and let us even play with him for a while before we made our decision to buy him. Overall customer service is great! The representatives are very knowledgeable and helpful. I am giving 3 stars only because it is a little misleading on the process of finding a vet for the initial “wellness check” and getting to take your puppy home. The in network vets for this area are so overwhelmed and busy it’s just too difficult to get an appointment. Just be aware that you may not get your puppy the day of purchase (incase you have children like we do) who could be upset or not understand! With that being said, we had a good experience and we are so happy with your new baby!

First of all, the store hours online are incorrect. Though I found the staff here to be very kind and helpful, there is a major problem with this pet store- most of the pets cost $3000-$8000. If you love animals, Id recommend you spend $50 adopting a pet at a shelter and donate the other $7950 to save a few hundred pet lives. The pets arent being given the best homes, theyre being given to the richest homes, and that is all it comes down to.

I’m amazed at how nice the employees are any time I come in, especially Edward, anytime I go in I see how happy he is working there and always helps me pick out things for my dog, recently helping me buy a new toy and especially grooming equipment for my aussie sheppard

I recently visited this pet store, and I was very impressed by the immaculate costumer service of a certain employee, Edward. I was browsing the puppies, and he kindly offered me to play with some of them. The whole time I never was pressured to make a decision! When I do decide to obtain my furry companion, I will most definitely make sure that he will help me!

We just got our new fur baby from a nice lady Janmie. This is the third puppy we have bought from Pet City and have never had anything but a great experience. We got our first puppy from here 17 years ago. I will admit the price of puppies has gone up a lot and now they require a new puppy wellness vet visit set up before the puppy can go home but after the health warranty was explained to me it made sense. We were able to take our new pup home the next day. Linda, Jolen, Ed and the manager Cory are all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the different breeds and products..thanks to Linda, Edward

Linda, Glenn, & Monica are AMAZING! They are so helpful and resourceful. We immediately fell in love with our teddy bear and they made the experience even more rewarding. They taught us everything that we need to know about our puppy and how to be successful pet owners. We absolutely love Benjamin and cant thank the staff enough for all of the support along the way.

My wife and I had the BEST experience with Jami and Linda. The whole staff stayed late to help us get our loan figured out and the next day, they called to make sure we had our vet appointment so we could pick up our new puppy, Theo! Linda was so patient with us even when it was very busy in the store and she kept us occupied through conversation while we went through the anxiety of waiting for the loan to be approved. Jami had Theo ready to go as soon as we walked in and we were united with our new baby. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable of the animals there and they are obviously very genuine when it comes to giving the pets a forever home. I was hesitant to buy from a pet store instead of a shelter, but there was a lot of trust built with this store while i was there. Thank you Linda and Jami for an easy experience and our adorable puppy!
