My truck is old and has a lot of problems. When it completely stopped running I had it towed to Lighthouse and they fixed it within a DAY. I am beyond impressed, the amount of work they did to get me back on the road would have taken most other shops 2 or 3 days to do. They fixed the major issues and were respectful about how much money I could afford to spend on repairs. They even gave me some advice on other solutions to minor issues I could fix on my own. These guys are the real deal.

Lighthouse automotive has great expertise and experience. They have an electrical wizard who fixed me up in short order. After a lengthy dealership experience, I took it here to get it fixed up. They were very methodical and found the issue right away, and werent afraid to dig in and get it fixed. Saved me from buying an expensive computer module for the system or giving up on my truck. Speedometer was fixed correctly, and the differential was happy again after the service. Took good care of me, and they had the knowledge and know how to get it done and get it out. Saved me a bunch of time. Wish that I knew about this place before hand, but I was definitely glad that I gave them a shot, and they were super helpful and friendly. I got my truck back, all my safety systems are happy again, speedometer is working, and I feel better about driving it around. They are good people and they took care of me, no nonsense friendly and knowledgeable. Id highly recommend them! It was quite a journey but Im glad that I found them and they were able to get me sorted.

Came in for a Pre-purchase inspection at an awkward time in the middle of the day. Even though their bay was jammed with vehicles, the owner, Rylan, still managed to get me slotted in and got me out in a timely manner.The mechanic that inspected my vehicle was very knowledgeable and talked me through everything.

I had high hopes for this business, unfortunately, the there was more sizzle than steak in the end. I called to inquire about an oil change for two of my vehicle and was told it would be $55 each. I arranged an appointment to have one car completed at 830am and then the second would be done right after along with a diagnostic check of a rattle in the front end.The first oil change was completed in 40 minutes and then I was told it would be $109, not $55. I told the owner that when I called I was told it was $55 and he just shrugged his shoulders and said something about labor charges not being included in the quote. What???So bottom line here is to ask for an out the door price for whatever service you are requesting as this bait and switch tactic is bogus and needs to be called out for its lack of professionalism.by the way, I took my second car to another auto shop closer to my residence and it cost only $44 out the door!!!

I am so grateful for this auto repair facility. My car broke down on the side of the road on my way to an interview. I walked into the repair shop extremely worried. Raylan was really nice and made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them(Ive had bad experiences in the past with other places) He understood that I had limited funds due to being unemployed and other events. He helped by cutting the my cost where he could, and made sure my car was fixed properly so I wouldnt have to worry. I didnt feel like he was trying to hustle me by adding more charges. I called to inquire about the cost of service, seeking an estimate for rear brake pads and rotors, and was told to come in so that they could look and provide a cost. I was informed that it would cost $75 for the estimate, which would be absorbed if I completed the service. None of this information was shared over the phone - I did not allocate time to have the service completed immediately and was simply looking for a general range for what I could expect for costs. Staff was very nice in person and on the phone. I wish I felt comfortable using their business.

About 2 weeks ago Labor Day) I had an emergency with my 2007 Dodge Nitro. Though they were closed that day, they did look at it thbe nest day. I was afraid to eveb drive it there, but they have a super reoutation, James met me at the counter and listened (actually listened to how muh I needed the car, as I am single income and it affected my jod(. Rylan (the owner) promised me he would give the car every attention, and I got it back in two days, expecting about five days! He personally went over every detail of the work done. He is a devout christian, and we had prayer for him, his family, and his business. He is a man of great testimony, keeping his word.

I had called Lighthouse Automotive because the key to my truck kept getting jammed in the ignition. Rylan promptly ordered the part and scheduled an appointment for today, January 21st. Even though his technician, Gary, wound up sick shortly after we made the appointment, Rylan, the owner, came in himself to repair my truck.This was huge for me because I drive all over Colorado for work, every long drive could have easily left me stranded in the middle of nowhere, and Thursdays are my only day off through the week.Rylan saved me a nightmare and was very respectful and reasonable throughout the experience.I know the world has gotten crazier and crazier each day, especially for small businesses. I’d give this repair shop a big fat 10 stars!!!! They worked with me in every way they could, was very very helpful. Got my car fixed as fast as they could and it’s been running great. They’re closed on the weekend but the man running the shop came in on a Saturday specifically for me so I could pay him and get my car back. I’m extremely satisfied and I told him I’d let google know that this is the go-to auto shop in Colorado Springs. The least I could do for the help they gave me! You won’t be disappointed.

Had a pre-purchase inspection for a used vehicle I was thinking of purchasing. In addition to a full inspection, they also offered to hose down the car’s aftermarket sunroof to see if it leaked, which it did. Worth the wait! Slipped on the ice and ran into a curb this past winter. It took awhile to get in, but they were quick and thorough and understood doing things as inexpensibly as possible while still doing a good job. The problem was bigger than originally thought, so I brought it back, and they made sure to keep all the new parts they had just put on the car when they had to replace a bigger piece. I was recommended here by a friend and think I’ll stick around!

I was very pleased with the kindness and courtesy of the employees that helped me yesterday. They explained options (that were easy to understand) and I decided what service I wanted that also were in my price range. As a single mom, I am usually apprehensive about getting taken advantage of...however, this was not an issue at Lighthouse. The owner spoke to me directly and in a Christian manner. As my automobile is over 15 years old, I plan to be back for tune-ups and other work. I would recommend this automotive repair shop to anyone who respects honest hardworking service providers.

Never again, poor follow through, expensive and 2 days I had to find other transportation because of no communication on the status of my car.No responsibility taken for not communicating with me. They charged me almost one thousand dollars to rewire and install fog lights.Live and learn. I question the honesty of the work done and I got no itemized receipt.Had to return twice to complete what should have been a one day job.I honestly left feeling Id been ripped off. I cant prove it but I trust my gut.Never once did the owner take responsibility for delays or not doing the job right the first time.People often say what they believe and what they do but the proof is in the actions. Nice people but I question their honesty.

Was given a quote from Firestone for a wobbly back wheel of 3500 dollars. Went to Lighthouse instead because something seemed off. Was down on my luck, ended up having a surgery but Rylan was incredibly reasonable. Ended up paying a third of what Firestone quoted with 10 times better customer service, and saved a lot of trouble. Took my Jeep Wrangler in due to an oil leak. I had done my research on this business and felt it was a good shop, based on many positive google reviews and their rating with BBB. They determined the cause of the leak and stated that the repairs would be $1,700. They had my Jeep for several days and also replaced the clutch for an additional $1,500. I am a single parent and have 1 vehicle so when I was presented this information I was not in a position to take additional time off of work and take my vehicle to another shop for a second opinion. I put my faith in this business, thinking they knew what they were doing After the repairs, the jeep ran fine...for a short while then I noticed it was leaking oil again. I took it back down to the shop, as all the repairs they had done were under warranty. After literally looking at the jeep for 5 minutes, I was notified that the leak was a new leak, and therefore the warranty wouldnt cover any work. Clearly I was upset since I had just dropped $3,200 with this shop not even 2 months earlier. The owner was adamant that it wasnt their work that was done incorrectly. His offering was to diagnose the oil leak (again) and draw up a new quote for the repairs. I advised him that I wouldnt spend another dime at his business, so declined the diagnostic. My thought is if the mechanic was unable to accurately diagnose the issue initially, why would it be diagnosed correctly the second time? I ended up taking my vehicle to another shop who quickly and CORRECTLY diagnosed the issue, which they then also repaired CORRECTLY, for a small fraction of what i spent with Lighthouse Automotive and in under 5 hours, as opposed to 3 days. It was this new shops determination that the work that L.A. did was good work; however, it was not the work that needed to be done to fix the leak...Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, I wish I had.

This shop is 100% all in all legit. I took my truck to a shop in Dallas and got the Catalytic converter replaced. I got about two hours outside of Dallas and my check engine light came on. I pulled into the a Chevrolet dealer and they made some adjustments and 10 minutes later back on the road all I could hear was an exhaust leak. I made it back to Colorado Springs and brought my truck to Lighthouse. They put it on the lift and did a smoke test finding multiple leaks on all parts that the Chevrolet dealer fixed. They had me all done and back on the road in about two hours. They fixed what two mechanics could not do right the first time. I test drove the truck for 30 minutes and everything was perfect. Thank you Lighthouse for being straight with me and doing it right.

This is the best service we have had in a long time. Went in needing a big job for our Dakota rt, and expecting to pay money I couldnt afford at the time. I was not only greeted with great customer service but given affordable options to my problem which I really appreciate. Fantastic service! I’m a reasonably experienced hobby mechanic and usually do all the work I need done to my vehicles myself. Recently I had a problem with my car that I didn’t have the time or energy to troubleshoot and fix, so I took it into Lighthouse. I am thoroughly impressed! I could tell that the information they gave me was truthful and accurate, and I never felt strong-armed or pressured into having work done that was not necessary. Took my vehicle in for some power steering issues. They gave me same-day service and only recommended the parts/service I actually needed to get back on the road running smoothly. I will definitely use these guys again!

Had to get my breaks and rotors done is what most big companies was saying I know its slow and everyone is just trying to make a buck. Found this place and had them just look at it and come to find out that my rotors was still able to get resurfaced and when I was quoted 600 and more elsewhere he was able to do everything for half that only cost me 300 and was able to save some money. This place is great and they work with you financial situation definitely coming back for future work not to many people like this left in todays society.

One of the best shops I have ever been to. That being said, my car was towed there due to a broken CV Axle. They were quick to diagnose the problem and even save me a substantial amount of money on repairs. I got calls every step of the way, so I never felt left out of the loop on the repair. This team is great! I first brought my car in for a transmission rebuild and I was amazed! They had the transmission rebuilt and replaced the clutch. It was like driving a brand new car with the exception of the looks. This was 4 years ago and I have brought my car to Lighthouse for all repairs. I have never been discouraged or unhappy.
