Harlen was extremely helpful with my car that needed a new alternator. He made sure I had a loaner car to use as long as it took them to get that part because they were first informed it was overseas and could take up to a month. Amazing one was found in the US and I got my car back in 3 days. They were so helpful and made sure I was taken care of.

South Colorado Springs Nissan definitely deserves 5 stars! I just bought a used car from there and my experience with Nikki H. was amazing from beginning to end! She listened to all of my wants and needs! She was able to provide some great options for me, and we went on multiple test drives until I found the one that worked best for me and my budget! Nikki definitely went above and beyond for me and made my experience as smooth as possible! Everything was straightforward and to the point. I also had a great experience with Chris in finance, he was very transparent with me (which is what I want), and I know exactly what to expect going forward!

I went for check engine light and had run the code at Autozone before, so I was at least somewhat aware of the issue. They ended up keeping it overnight and not informing me that they were or why. Lack of communication one. Ended up calling the next day about 9 and the lady wasnt sure but said she would go talk with service rep and find out. Got a text about 5 minutes later saying it was done. Picked it up. Was told they replaced engine fan a reset check engine light. Drove to go 2 errands and light came back on so drove back to them to let them know. Didnt even have it an hour. They pulled code again and it was the same one. So, they didnt fix the issue I brought it in for. They said they would need to keep it for a little while. I said thats fine but to text/call if they were gonna keep it overnight cause they failed to do that last time. That rep said thats funny cause theyre supposed to but he would make a note to do so this time. Went home. They kept it overnight again and didnt tell me again. Failed communication two. Ended up calling 24 hours after drop off again and was told they were test driving. Got a call a little later that it was done and they had finally fixed the issue I had taken it in for. Picked it up later that afternoon after they had it for 2 and a half days, minus the hour I had it for the errands when it was fixed.They were friendly and apologetic. I just wish they were more communicative and listened to what I was bringing it in for.2 out of 5 stars.

It was my first time visiting the service center. I must say the staff were nice, professional, knowledgeable, and upfront. I did not experience any beating around the bush regarding cost for auto service. I gave a 5 rating because my expectations were met, that is: nice and fun to be around staff, knowing the $ for service, very clean, and the coffee was great.
I will say up front that we did receive an excellent oil change for my wifes vehicle and they were generally respectful. That said, when we brought in our vehicle there was a check engine light on and who he wished to know what the check engine code was and they said to do that they would have to charge us $155 to perform a diagnostic on the car.Considering that I could go to any AutoZone, OReilly, or Napa that have them do that for free, or simply just buy a $23 scanner off Amazon which I ended up doing, absolute highway robbery.Very disappointed with South Academy Nissan.Will not be returning.

We just bought a jeep from them, and they refused to fix any of the issues it had (back hatch wouldnt open, emergency break wont engage at all, ect.) because its too old so after 3 hours of fixing it at home its now fixed. They could have easily fixed it in an hour since they had the proper tools. They also told us the winch controller was missing so as we are cleaning out the cargo area we open the bottom hatch and right there is the winch controller. I highly doubt they did any inspection on this vehicle at all they just saw Jeep and slapped a price on it. They have a cool finance guy though.
I took my Rogue in to be checked after being involved in an accident. I had a terrible experience at the collision center I was referred to by my car insurance and knew I needed true professionals to take care of me. I worked with Justin at Nissan and he gave me so much reassurance. I didnt even get great news about my car but he made sure that I understood what was going on and what they could do to help. I left feeling educated and valued.
I had a 7am appointment to get my Nissan Versa serviced, Ashley was AMAZING!! She told me she would have me out in about an hour & she did exactly that! My car is in great shape & it was squeaky clean when I left. Great Experience! -Alyson

I booked an appointment to have my clutch replaced as preventative maintenance in May. I went in for my CONFIRMED appointment in August and the dealership did not have the clutch in stock. My car was then later test driven by the mechanic who recommended the clutch not be replaced because it was in working order. We were contacted and had to explain again that we were replacing the clutch as a preventative measure for an upcoming cross country trip and the fact that the clutch was at 60k miles. The car went at least a day without maintenance. The car was supposed to be ready for pick up on Monday but was not ready until late Tuesday. We were informed that the maintenance tech had not worked on an standard clutch for a Nissan Sentra ever nor had he seen one in quite some time so he was taking his time to make sure everything was done right. That’s good I guess but then the service manager explained they were short staffed and also pulling the tech away from my car to work on other projects. We were offered a discount of $252, $152 of which was due to the military discount we were already getting.Needless to say, The only time I will ever go back to Nissan for my car is if my battery or clutch require maintenance within their covered periods. I will never be a Nissan customer again. Thanks for the sh*t service and joke of a discount.
Needed repair on my Nissan Titan for windshield washer. The staff member was awesome and she notified me immediately when the necessary part arrived. Will continue to use this business even though we live in Pueblo. A++++
South Colorado Springs Nissan has the BEST customer service and mechanic specialists. We needed to get the lower block of our Titan replaced. Jamison did a fantastic job with it and made sure everything went smooth. Our truck was returned clean and sounding amazing. I would highly recommend this place for servicing.
We have consistently had good experiences with the Nissan service department on South Academy. They are thorough but don’t push things on you. They communicate well and are reliable. I cannot say this about other dealership service departments. I would buy more Nissans in the future because we know we will get good service when maintaining the vehicle.
I love this dealerships service department and I trust them implicitly! Whenever I need to have something checked on my car they are very thorough and I receive a full report of anything that needs to be repaired and when I ask about anything I wondered if it’s needing to be done, they could certainly tell me it did and I wouldn’t know the difference but have told me it’s not necessary at this time and to wait a few months and check then! I took car in recently concerned about undercarriage felt like it slipped but they kept car overnight to have another technician drive to be sure and it was fine! All diagnostics were fine and they did not charge me and I am very grateful to have them for my car and my peace of mind!And on another note- they have a great personable guy; Keith, who drives the shuttle and will take you home and pick you up with a smile- can’t beat that!
Just had some work done on a Nissan Titan and the customer service was awesome! I believe i coordinated with Harlen most of the time. I’m pretty busy and was able to have my vehicle towed there, diagnosed, coordinate what I wanted done, and didn’t have to stop by until the service was done. They have a pretty user friendly way of communicating with their customers with out having to play phone tag. I was pretty impressed with the team at this location, thanks guys 🤙

Took my vehicle in for a diagnostic because the check engine light was on. After 6 hours of “testing” they didn’t find the issue that caused the service engine light. They only reset the “light” only for it to come back on a few days later. Although they didn’t charge me for the diagnostic the original issue they did not correct. If that is the correct diagnosis for the situation than I’d say service was great but not quite time efficient. If the process was done incorrectly than I do not recommend coming here.

I’ve purchase my 2011 Nissan Altima in 2016, tried to go back to the dealership to trade it in for something newer or better because I was needing a new transmission that cost $5500 with me only owing $2400 more on my vehicle before it’s paid off I a thought it will be better to trade it. Long story short every time I go to Nissan and speak with salesman Marty I always get the run around with him, first he says well you got approve then he tells us we are not approve after getting the paper work done. I ask him why we weren’t approve he said because we needed a co-signer if you knew that from them beginning why you ain’t said that, that is also after we have explained to him our situation. I felt my time was wasted and he did not go above and beyond to try to get me in something that was suitable and reliable for me and my family. I will never recommend going to him who is located at the South Colorado Springs Nissan.
First time we went in we were greeted by a nice kid who had been there less than a week. Didn’t even had business cards yet. But we were going to make it easy because we knew what we wanted. Obviously this kid was left to sink or swim by the sales manager. Asked him to keep in touch and follow up. They didn’t have what we wanted. Never heard from him. Two months later we go in and another new kid greeted us. Nice but was also floundering by the lack of mentor ship by the sales manager who answered our questions later with one word answers like we were 5 years old. We bought our 350z there 10 years ago but will never go there again. Very unhelpful and unfriendly. Woodmen Nissan was much better, friendlier, and explained everything with a smile.

I had the worst experience buying a truck with this company. I traded my 2019 Ford Raptor for a 2022 Nissan Frontier. I was in the market for a new truck and wanted to test drive one of the Frontiers with several upgrades. Needless to say… the truck I had stated that I wanted was sold while I was in the store. In speaking with the sales manager, they promised me that if I agreed to trade my Raptor, they would add everything I was wanting upgraded to a similar vehicle. I accepted the offer from the salesperson, but this was a huge mistake. I should have read the contract better as they charged me for the extra addons that were supposed to be added to make up the difference with the other one and constitute the pricing. I spoke directly with the sales manager, and he assured me they would take care of everything as asked. This was a complete lie. They did not do any of the addons aside from tint. As if this were not enough to make me question their business practices, they charged me $999 for a clear bra and window tint that I clearly could have gotten elsewhere for less. After going back several times and requesting that I cancel the contract I was informed that their GM did not want that. Read your contract carefully they will charge you +$3500 for extended warranty .

I’ve been to seven dealerships here in the springs and this one had the most predatory staff by a long shot. Staff at this location are like the brokers from the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street”. Luckily I know my stuff but if you don’t, make sure you know what you’re doing before you step foot in here.
Was misquoted on a transmission flush service. The lady on the phone set up the appointment told me it was $199 with a $25 coupon bringing it to $175. When I brought the car in they took pictures and had you sign an iPad. BE WARNED. DO NOT SIGN THAT IPAD UNTIL YOU READ EVERYTHING IN THE FINE PRINT. I was in a hurry and signed it thinking that I was simply leaving the car in their possession. Actually when you sign that you’re agreeing to pay for the service. When I went to pick the car up they told me it was $259!!. When I confronted them about the misquote they basically said oh well not our problem you signed agreeing to it. They honored the $25 discount but that was it. These people only care about making money. The new management is terrible they would rather screw you on a deal rather than own up to their screw ups. I’m getting ready to buy a new Nissan soon and I won’t be buying here. A chance to have a great customer/ dealer relationship is in the toilet. I will not be taking my car I purchased in 2011 back to them for any service related jobs either. Customer service is at the bottom of their list
Own a 2012 Nissan that my teens are using to learn to drive. Love the car and my kids and wanted this dealer to take the car in and inspect it. Was told that I cannot get an appointment unless I specifically identify what is wrong with it. I am not a mechanic thats why I am calling! Told them it needs an oil change for sure - cannot have an appointment for that, must just show up and stand in line. Well, there are other things wrong with it...dashlight are on. Was told unless I tell them specifically what light is on I cannot get an appointment. Told them its an old car, things are squeaky and leaky and I would like to just drop off the car for a few days and have them inspect it. Was then offered a 1hr appointment for an inspection at a rate of $155 for EACH AND EVERY issue/topic they need to diagnose. 2 dashlights on? 2 x $155 diagnostic fee. Squeaky front end? Another $155 fee. What? Maybe COVID turned the world upside down and I am too late to realize the new order? Maybe I just got ancient over night and need to get with the program? This (lack of) service approach is totally mind blowing to me. Finding a legit business who wants my money. This is actually sad as I have used this dealer for years and loved the service and customer focus.

Jaida was very knowledgeable, professional, personable. She knew what my wife and I wanted and very promptly made it happen. Our appointment was near our lunch time, when we mentioned missing lunch, she suggested our taking the truck to lunch, for a further test drive, and she would have the paperwork done by the time we got back. When I called her two days later with a question about the truck, she thought for a second, then answered my question completely.

Took it in to have a small noise looked at. The technician could not replicate the situation. But they found other things that I had done within the year to the truck that I needed done 🤔 . So I think they dont even look at the things they said I needed done. Not happy 😞

Im giving this locations sales a 4 because I own a 2013 Nissan and have used their service department with great experience in the past. My wife I decided recently on a Saturday, we would stop in, take a quick look at a Frontier and see what the sticker price was and just take a quick look. Things didnt go as we planned so we left. I called in a few days later and asked to share my feedback and was able to speak with a loyalty rep to explain how we didnt have the best experience. We received a call two days later from the GM who wanted to hear our feedback and really valued our discussion. This went a long way in recovering my business because it showed me they value feedback and customer experience. Most large businesses like this just delegate to someone to hear the feedback but hearing from the top shows they value customers. Definitely will go hear when Im fully ready to buy.

My daughter purchased a used jeep from this location on Saturday. The next day, she discovered a serious oil leak. She called the dealer on Monday and Hanna, the sales person advised her to bring the vehicle in at the first opportunity. The first available appointment was Wednesday.The service department called to advise her that the vehicles rear main seal had to be replaced due to a leak at a cost of $1550. She went to the dealer to see what could be done.The sales manager told her that there was nothing he could do because she bought it “as-is”. He then tried to sell her a newer car and spent a good deal of time telling her that the car she has with a blown seal is a bad car, needs expensive repairs, and is likely to need even more over the coming year. He really made it sound like the lemon of the year. He kept pressuring her to buy a newer car using the car she bought as a trade in citing the fact the car she now has is a bad decision and needs the repairs. No offer to fix it, no offer to even split the cost of repairs.She decided to keep the jeep and will take it elsewhere for repairs and pay out of pocket. As we left, I advised Hanna that I listened to this speech for about a half hour and I listened to the sales manager and her tell us how bad the vehicle was that she now owns, how she really would be better off with a more expensive vehicle, how it would better for her and her children. I then told Hanna simply this - that “you sold her this vehicle, you told her it received a 125 point check, and you failed to disclose that it had a major leak.. and then you sat here and told her how bad it was yet— you sold it to her” I then advised her that Nissan should regret this because of social media but more importantly, because they simply only cared about a sale—I will never shop Nissan and will encourage everyone to be careful of or avoid South Colorado Springs Nissan
I am from New Mexico my family and I were headed to Denver, I totally never expected for my 2017 Altima to break down (transmission). I barely made it to South Colorado springs Nissan but I think everything is meant to be, because I met the most wonderful lady (Ashley) and she was an angel 😇. She literally jumped through hoops to get my car fixed, and allow me to enjoy my bday vacation. It runs better than before. Theres no words to express how much of a blessing you were. Also I never got the technicians name who actually fixed it but I also thank you from the bottom of my ❤️. A 1 out of 10 theyre a 10.5!!!
Most professional and honest dealership in Colorado Springs. Ashley is phenomenal and it was a pleasure working with her while my car was in there for a couple of days. They heard my concerns, got me in immediately and then put me in a fantastic loaner car. Then I got a thorough and detailed overview on everything with my vehicle, and my transmission that was replaced runs like a dream now. Ed is a phenomenal mechanic who clearly works with precision and concern. All that, on warranty work. The initiative of this place is clearly customer service first, which is hard to trust in this industry, but SCS embodies it, even if theyre losing money working on your stuff, theyll go teeth and nails for you. Super grateful to everyone at SCS Nissan.
Not at all satisfied. Two major items needed repair one of which was repaired by the shop already. The shop told the warranty company the car was damaged which it was not so the warranty company did not cover any of the work. Amazing as I bought the Platinum bumper to bumper plan from the dealer that did the repairs, twice. Also needed a new battery, $170 and it was Installed wrong so I had to fix that myself. Looking for a new dealership. I only bought 4 cars from this one so it wont be 5

I had my 2020 gtr at the service area although it tools some time to diagnosis Harlen kept me updated every step of the way and made sure that I knew the the timeline to get the car fixed was being worked as fast as possible. I commend Harlen in his ability to communicate and relay the information to me as a customer efficiently and at articulate all of the I for.
Hmm where should I start with this review. My wife and I drove two hours from north Arvada down to this dealership to purchase the 2010 Mazda 3 priced at 5599. When we got down to look at the car the sales lady was bouncing between my wife and I leaving me to twiddle my thumbs at her desk while she helped out customers who had bought from her in the past. We took the car for a test drive and it ran great. It didn’t look the best but that’s because it had taken over a week to get through detailing.After the test drive we inquired about a 500$ coupon that we were given via an email. We were told the would honor it taking the price down to 5099. We told them that we had all cash and would purchase the car for 5500 out the door. Yea it’s low, but that’s how bartering works right. She said she’d talk with the sale manager about the price. We left so that we could make it to another appointment. About 4 hours later we were told the beat they could do was 7500 (including a 67& discount! Aren’t they the best) this included 686 for a security, on star like system, that is automatically included in the price of the car. We were told that it would cost more to remove the system than to leave it installed. On top of that they magically forgot the 500$ coupon and made sure to tax me on all the taxable items in the amount 286$. They also included a clear coat on the car, (it’s a 5k car really) that they charge you for and give you the privilege of having reapplied for 2 years.When I informed them that I didn’t want any of those extras they did not get back to me until I sent them this review. When they did get back they said they were busy. Once again servicing everyone else but the customer at hand. This dealership is the antithesis of the shady car dealership. We are now going elsewhere to pay 2k more for the same car but with decent honest service.
We were in town visiting our son. He will be buying a car at the end of the school year and we will not have the chance to visit again before then. We were not buying today but wanted to help him figure out what the right vehicle for him will be. When they heard we weren’t buying today they were very pushy and the sales manager came out and said we could buy today and put it in storage until he was ready. We said we would be waiting. He walked away and we thought they were getting the vehicle ready for us. The salesperson then told us we couldn’t test drive one because they didn’t want us putting miles on a new car. How will we know if this is the car for him if they don’t let us drive it? Every other dealer we visited let us test drive and they knew the situation. We found a very nice salesman at another dealer and will definitely be purchasing a vehicle from him in a few months.
They have not followed up with any of the promised items. Its all fun and games while youre there, but once you leave you can forget about it.

Terrible service! One day before my appointment I called to see if they could change my appointment later and they said no. I arrived early 15 min. And when I got there they told me that I would excuse them that the person who was going to do the work would arrive until 11 and arrived at 11:45 a.m. and I asked him how long it would take to get to work and they told me 30 to 45 min. It is worth mentioning that I left my house from 8:30 a.m. just with my breakfast and 3 kids. Well, it is almost 3 oclock and I have them well educated, they did not want to go and ask for anything at the cafeteria out of grief, but after time, hunger and despair overcame them and they stopped being good children. I cant complained about the cafeteria service the woman was nice and patience with my kids!
Ive been speaking with Jaida for quite some time about the new Frontier. Over the past several months she has kept me informed about the status of when they would start to arrive. She new exactly what equipment package I wanted and let me know when one came in that had what I wanted. She made the purchase process very simple and seamles without any of the back and forth games, and we were able to quickly come to an agreement on the purchase price. I own a 2006 Frontier that I bought new and have been waiting for the new design for about 2 years. This is my 4th Nissan pickup and if it is as reliable and my previous ones, it may well be the last vehicle Ill ever have to buy.
They were very helpful and explained anything I had questions about. Will definitely be coming back to this location.

Great place, no haggling, and its straight forward in an out in a couple of hours. Maia Sevin was charismatic! Although finance wasnt the friendliest, they were pretty slow, but thorough. Maia was very informative on the vehicles, walked me through all of the functionalities and assisted with getting everything set up! One of the best customer service experiences Ive had! Dont waste your time elsewhere start here and call for Maia, I fully recommend her.

Oil change. Wheel alignment. The service was excellent had an appointment which is the best way to go, got in there they got me out within an hour the customer service agent was extremely knowledgeable she went step by step over everything that was worked on the car, they also was offered refreshmentsthe staff was very friendly and highly knowledgeable I recommend that if you get your car worked on to come to this service center.

I bought my dream vehicle here! My husband and I had previously gone to Phil Long and it was a horrible experience. So we were nervous about coming here, due to our bad experiences with dealerships. But the people here at South Colorado Springs Nissan are angels in disguise. We ended up trading in my 2015 Nissan Altima for the new 2021 Rogue. Our salesman was Marty. He did everything he could to make sure we left satisfied customers. Our Finance guy was Kevin and he is outstanding. We had our 2 baby girls with us and after a long day, he made sure we were out fast. So incredibly military friendly. My husband has his eye on the Nissan Titan Pro 4X, and he will definitely be giving SCS Nissan his business when that time comes!
The service department here makes all the difference. I have my go to guys (Doug and Justin) that have been so helpful over the years. Recently I have had the same service from Kimberly. She helped me out with several scam letters and today I finally got to meet her in person. Thanks so much very always being so friendly and helpful!
I have had the same service advisor for at least 15 years. He has never let me down and I really like them. Also the person that works on my car I can’t believe how many years he’s been there for me probably close to 20. All in all I’m really happy with NISSAN.

My wife and I purchased two Nissan Rogue’s after the massive hail storm in 2018. Both vehicles are the basic models but have all kinds of features I still haven’t figured out. Fast forward to August 5th, 2020 another hail storm. I took my vehicle into the service department and Doug Flores greeted me. Doug explained the repair process in detail, worked with me while we contacted my insurance company to start the claims for both cars. Doug got the rental cars set up and covered every detail for us. He kept us up to date with the status. All I can say is thank you Doug for taking the time to take care of us. You’re a great customer service manager, you have superior multitasking skills. The care my car receive at South Academy Nissan always surpasses my expectations. they are extremely courteous every time I bring my car in. they are always willing to explain in great detail their concerns and give me the options of accepting or rejecting their findings. there is never any added pressure for me to sign on the dotted line, I greatly appreciate their need to let me pay for what I can afford and not to exact greed on their part. Justin always takes care of his customers. The mechanic did leave the air intake box open, but it was easy enough to take care of myself and I’ve never seen reoccurring mistakes at SCS Nissan.

Kimberly generally answers the phones and schedules my appointments and does a wonderful job. I have been working exclusively with Justin for almost 9 years now and he has always provided the absolute best service experience. I do have multiple vehicles from other brands, and have to take them to other shops for warranty work, but the experience with my Nissans is always the best.
