I have done business with this location on several occasions. Each time I have approached the counter I have been treated with respect and had all my questions answered with confidence and always felt the reps had the knowledge to provide me with safe and accurate information. Recently I was present when picking up my ride while a irate customer was being verbally abusive and completely unreasonable all while the staff was trying to accommodate the requests. As a person with experience in the highest levels of customer service I was impressed with the way these individuals handled them selfs with great patience and professionalism and they should be recognized for the behavior they exhibited. My daughters lifted 2018 Jeep JLU had a rattle from the rear shocks. She being new to Colorado, I asked around while moving her in to Woodland Park and I was directed to this store in Colorado Springs. Dylan at the front desk came out and crawled underneath to confirm the left upper bushing had worn out prematurely from the Skyjacker Black Max shocks in our new-to-us Wrangler. While other places would have tried to sell me more than I needed, Dylan found that the problem was not a safety issue, just a noise issue. The replacement cost on the one shock was reasonable but I appreciated Dylans integrity to advise us honestly & I decided to replace both rear shocks anyway. I hope other businesses my daughter finds in her new home town are as trustworthy! Thanks!

Prices to high, there are not alot of places to go and see what you are buying, but alot of parts have to be ordered anyway which defeats the purpose of going to the place to look. As a customer when you enter an environment like this if you are a beginner enthusiast that has little experience you dont seem to be as welcomed. In the stores employees like to sit behind a desk in a chair. Its good customer service to get out there and talk with people see what they like instead of letting them figure stuff out on their own. I con do that online.

Gave me the wrong parts twice. Guys at the counter were rude. Not a good experience. Back to predator 4 wheel drive for me.

Have them verify their stock before you make the drive. I called for some lug nuts and was told they have two sets in stock in chrome and black. Made the drive and the chrome set was missing 7 lug nuts and they didnt even have the black set in the shelf despite being told over the phone they did. Total waste of a trip.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had at 4wheel parts Colorado Springs. The guy at the front desk was not only inept at his job he was also extremely unfriendly. After a few mistakes that could have easily been fixed with a little humility on his part, he decide to put the blame on everyone else. He then proceeded to tell me “ I didn’t pop your tire” as if that would help the situation. He had zero professionalism or accountability. Without the prompt service recovery from his manager, I would not be returning to 4Wheel parts C.Springs.

I have done a fair amount of business with 4 Wheel Parts but I am finally done with them due to the fact that they can not deliver on time the correct order. Anything involved with Transamerican Auto Parts, you can bet on your order will be incorrect and late. About 70% of the orders that I have placed with them over the years have had some kind of issue or problem. I have come back due to their great prices but it usually costs me in the end. Reliability like that is why I am doing business elsewhere. It has cost me headaches and bad relationships with my customers over the years. I highly do not recommend 4 Wheel Parts, or 4WD Hardware due to the fact that they are all owned by Transamerican Auto Parts which is a joke of a company that does not care about the little guys trying to make a living.Update: I later received a response on my review which infuriated me even more because they won’t take ownership of their own internal issues. Before evening placing an order, I call and check inventory at the Denver warehouse and with the Colorado Springs stores. So when I’m told that a product is in stock and quantity available, I place the order. But then I’m contacted to inform me that they don’t have this or that, it shows me that the employees or upper management don’t have a clue about anything going on with their business internally. One thing that the staff is excellent at is passing the blame to every vendor, or delivery company instead of owning up to their own mistakes.

Super busy when I got there. They still took time to make sure I got what I wanted in 5 minutes.

Though they were helpful in ordering my tires, putting them on was another story. It took them 5 hours after claiming it would only be 1 hour. Additionally, I ordered wheels that they claimed would fit but they called me during the installation saying they needed spacers. Would have appreciated knowing that before I ordered them. Overall they had good customer service but were lacking in some areas

They installed a 6” pro comp lift on truck. It now wobbles when driving down the road. When I took it back for them to fix. They were unable to correct the problem. They ruined my 60k truck. Never again will I work with this joke of a company. Did I mention, I brought it back 3 times. No fix.Update 3/8/20214wd parts reached out to me. They are ordering parts to fix my lift. I will update with progress.Update 3/26/2012The Colorado 4wd parts store is top notch. Chris and Cody are very Knowledgeable. They were able to fix one of my problems. We are waiting on new struts(on back order). Once parts are installed. I will update again.

Very disappointed with their customer service I am driving from Florida towards California and my Rancho Shox gave out I stop bye to get them replaced and they told me they did not have them in stock I asked them if they could be replace with a different brand and half credit towards the new shocks and they said that it was not possible.They referred me over to the Nevada four wheel parts store in Las Vegas they told me to call them and they would probably have the shocks that I need it.I called the store in Las Vegas and they also did not have my shocks in stock but they told me that I could upgrade to any other shocks and pay the difference and labor for the install which was exactly what I was asking here at the Colorado Springs four wheel parts store I made a U-turn after only being away from the store about 10 minutes only to find out that they had already closed on me.I am very disappointed that their customer service we’re not honoring their exchange policy as it was explain clearly from the Nevada four wheel parts store.

He then indicated he could get me a better price because I’m a first responder which I appreciated but did not ask for. Garrett said he would call me back later that day and never did. I called the following day and a female took the message and said he would call me right back since it was 930am. Guess what he never did. I called again after 1pm wanting to get this order started and willing to put money down but he did not follow thru, AGAIN. Then I started reading reviews and researching the 2inch lift I intended on purchasing with the new tires and wheels. Come to find out the estimate which I have on paper DOUBLE charges the Labor cost from that of three other providers in Springs including Les Schwab. His tire cost for the Toyos was more than others and then they try to add a 90$ lift warranty fee And a 90$ tire warranty.. Read the SIMILAR reviews which are very consistent in awful customer service, straight up lies about actual work time, and POOR quality of work completed. STAY AWAY. BY THE WAY THERE HAS STILL BEEN NO FOLLOW UP AS OF TODAY, 9 DAYS LATER. I had all the work completed at almost a thousand dollars less today. Too bad. when I was stationed in Arizona those guys from 4WD in Phoenix were awesome unlike this low quality manager.

I went in to have a spacer lift done and Install new tires and wheels and i had the worst experience i have had with any company ever. How dose it take 10 hours to do a simple lift. And then also get told my tires will not fit. And then get laid to by the sales man Chris.that the will align without the two 33in tires and wheels in back. And then told i might need to move out my bumper to get the new tires to fix and it would take 2 hours and 260.00 to have them do it. But Discount Tires did it in 15min at no cost and there is no rubbing at all. So i guess Chris just wanted 260 dollars for free. And when i went back to pick up two of my wheel i seen i was missing parts and when asked he told me they never removed the wheelsfrom the back of my car. So what the lie. Did you align it with or without them in the car.Why dont your worker wear masks. I guess your workers are to cool to get COVID-19. Or is it the fact that your company does not care about there customers. Every time I go into your colorado springs store their masks are pulled down or off.

Overall a decent experience. Only reason for the three star review is because after spending 2200 on a lift kit I had to come back to their shop another three times to get, or order, missing parts. The first time I felt I wasnt a priority to them, even though I had already paid in full, and had to constantly contact the shop and remind them I needed the part pretty badly and my vehicle was sitting in my mechanics shop, just costing me money. The second time I was barely communicated with, waiting for over three hours just to have to call them back to find out if theyd be able to get my part in at a decent time. They definitely need to work on their prioritization and communication skills.

Had 5100 Bilstein struts and shocks and a spacer kit put on my truck with also new control arms by they’re suggestion. Chris, has been a big help being honest. Have taken great care of me so far will continue to do business with them. Love my truck.

So they did some work for me recently. I asked them to swap out my rear springs and fix a track bar bracket that the weld broke. while they did a good job on the repair they told me my spare parts were in the jeep. I went to look today a few weeks later because we havent been able to wheel with Covid19. Yep, they kept all my songs and 1 in teraflex lift pads. Ill be talking to them when they open back up.

Took our Jeep in that other shops couldn’t get right. Worked great when a week later steering wheel wasn’t straight they found problem and didn’t even charge us. They are always busy but we always have gotten good service I never expect perfection because the human factor but these guys are trying hard. Good job

Im giving one star because after I drove about 1,500 miles into AZ and NV. All highway miles and took it to another 4WP for some other work in another State, I was told I needed some of the same parts replaced again. Ball joints!!! Do ball joints go bad after 1,500 highway miles? They were unaware I had them just changed out or so I thought. So when they told me I needed new ones I became suspicious. Was the work done or not? I have to say, when I got my jeep back from Colorado Springs 4WP I struggled to see if any of the parts looked new. I had my doubts. After I had them replaced again at 4WP in another State, they definitely looked new. No doubt. They also told me one of the brand new steering wheel dampers I had installed in Colorado Springs was leaking. And a few other things that Colorado Springs didnt even mention.

Staff is pretty friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the biggest problem is the prices. Every single item Ive price checked from this place is 10% or more less expensive online through amazon or just simple google search, including shipping. Depending on your needs you might opt to use them to warranty certain items, depending on their policies.Overall a reliable source for parts and advice, but it isnt cheap.

Terrible customer service! I called was put on hold, 15 min later the phone hung up, called back and they wanted to put me back on hold I said I was already put on hold and he said I would have to wait again!!! Ridiculous, if there that busy they should hire another receptionist.

Went in looking for a quote only for my 4runner. Met Charlie Brown there, no joking. Heck of a nice guy. I knew what I wanted to about 90%. Ended up dropping 3g because of the atmosphere and knowledge. Made me confident in my purchase. Ended up deciding to go with a tire different than my original selection and they were able to accommodate it no poblem Only A Couple Days Away From Install . After asking some questions I already knew the answers to they furthermore embedded that they were confident and knowledgeable. The in store prices on accessories were higher than amazon but I would trust them to do the install and service. Ask for Charlie Brown and you wont be disappointed.

They probably have great stuff. They dont seem to be very woman friendly in their service. They have detailed conversations with the male customers. When I come in with questions they are short with their answers and attention. Maybe its just me.

Several issues. Prepaid for install, went to pickup vehicle. Said I owed $592, where Id already paid for install, $423. Massive price difference. They thought I was providing the top. After Id already bought top through them before install appt.Completely stripped 2 phillip heads on door handles. Lower soft doors wont come off my Jeep. ...AND my Jeep has a few new scratches around top!!! Plus doors are hard to open from inside.

1/21/18 - Considering the number of competitors in the local area .... you would think these guys would be a bit friendlier and helpful ..... there was no ‘thank you’ or an offer to carry the heavy battery out to my vehicle ...... at 60yrs old I appreciate those small favors ..... there was no talk of assuring the battery was going to fit my vehicle .... there was no mention of the ‘free installation’ coupon that was available during purchase ..... I should have mentioned that but again, it wasn’t a very friendly atmosphere...... I suggest driving a bit further North and visit one of the local shops that have more reason to get you back as a repeat customer ...... 4 Wheel Parts has a pretty good reputation nationally, but not so much the local store .....

I got a lift and a set of wheels from here a month ago and the service was just terrible. When speaking to someone they just acted like it was putting them out every time I ask a questions. They didn’t offer extra services that I really didn’t know I needed until I went to put the items on my truck. I will never return, And I want a lot more parts for my truck.

Bought new wheels at the grand reopening sale last year, relying on their expertise. The associate ordered the wrong size. The Assistant Manager, Chris Dickey, let me pick another style at no extra charge but took two weeks to get them in.Decided to give them another chance a couple months ago and purchased an AFE intake and exhaust. Again, relying on the expertise of Asst Mgr, Chris Dickey. This time I received an intake that doesnt fit my F-150 but the Website says it does. This time I had to wait for a K&N intake to be ordered.Last week I tried to rotate my tires and discovered my lug nut key didnt fit. I called and spoke with Chris and expressed my disappointment. He said they would do the normal free rotation for me when I bring the truck in to install the leveling kit. Funny how these Experts who install my front struts and wheels sold me a leveling kit when the issue is really a lift rear suspension and after I got my truck home I discovered they still didnt give me the right lug nut key. After walking in, noticeably unhappy, and asked Chris for the right key already, he laughed as he said sorry you were given one from a different manufacturer. I was not amused, and cannot understand why so many people like them with this kind of quality control, or lack of.

Pleasantly surprised! I had shopped at this same store one year ago, and I agreed with a lot of the reviews on very poor customer service. I decided to give it a second chance. Because they do offer a lot of selection for four-wheel-drive stuff. I walked in and went to go look at the winches, witch I was in the market for. One of the sales associates noticed me in came out and was very helpful. His name was Jason Parrish he did a great job explaining my options and even went outside to test fit a parts see if it would fit on my ARB bumper.

Donovan and Jason are excellent to work with. Every time I go in they are able to help me with a great solution for whatever I am looking to do. Prices are competitive and their advice is fantastic! Repairs in the shop are always correct the first time around and they are able to align my Wrangler better than anyone else who has tried.

This is a place to find parts for trucks, etc and as such it is useful because there are not many places like this in the are (that I am aware) and performs a function. However when I went there, even thought there were like 3 employees working, they did not even acknowledged my presence. When I got some service, the guy have me a different number of what I was given in the phone even thought O was specific and answered all the questions and nothing changed. The final number was ridiculously expensive. A job that a was quoted on the phone taking one hour became much more. The place is centrally located and it seems like it could be a good place, but in my opinion and according to this experience, I will not trust these people making an installation. May be purchasing a part I can install (because they go by catalog, it seems) but not a install or service.

Bought tires for my dodge 3500 and service was great..2 months later i had a nail in the sidewall that they replaced. Also told me some stuff that was wrong with the suspension..great people and great service. It might take a little longer but they really go the extra mile

I love this place, Ive gone here quite a few times. Last time I went in there I bought $1200 dollars worth of many items within 2 days, both times the employee Jason helped me out, he gave me absolute great service, he had no problem answering my million questions and thoroughly explaining in an easy fashion to someone who clearly isnt a mechanic lol he helped me find all of what was needed and which option was best for my use, explained why, and was able to order what they didnt have, and it blew my mind when they had every delivered to the store the very next day. Everyone else there was cool, good vibes, great shop, I will definitely be back alot more

These guys are always slammed, but they do a good job of handling it. There is always a line or a phone ringing. It may be easy to see how someone may think they are being rude, but Ive never noticed. The service department is just as good, just put new tire tires on i couldnt be happier. Hopefully they will work the same magic on my new grill insert.
