My insurance company sent me to this place. The person refused to give me an estimate because you people wont use them. Then told me to come back on Monday to drop the car off so that they could mark all the dents with pen. I was so frustrated when I left. I drove 30 minutes to get there to spend 3 with the guy. So I went to Caliber who gave me an open estimate and now they are getting my insurance business with extra work I want done.

The owner, Dave, is one of the most impolite and unprofessional people I have dealt with in a very long time. My insurance company gave me incorrect information which resulted in my truck sitting at the shop for a month. State Farm paid Dave a storage fee and cleaning fee which he requested, but apparently that was pennies on the dollar. He could have asked for more, and State Farm would have paid it. But apparently it is my fault that SF gave me incorrect information about the claims process. I called and politely asked Dave if he would confirm with SF that there was some additional damage that was not repaired by the other shop, that Fix Auto had noted on their original estimate. He told me he had absolutely no desire to help me or do anything for my truck whatsoever. I took my truck to Fix Auto because they were the highest rated shop on the State Farm select service provider list. However, after I learned that I could take my truck anywhere I wanted, I chose to take it to a shop Ive used several times in the past and have had excellent experiences with. Im not sure why Dave feels the need to be so incredibly rude and unprofessional to someone who did him no harm. Yes, my truck was in the way for a month. I apologized profusely. Dave was paid by State Farm the amount he supposedly requested, and hes still incredibly upset about this. He feels as if hes the bad guy and is upset that I didnt want them to work on my truck. Dave, it was absolutely nothing personal. I am sorry I offended you by choosing to use a shop I have used many times prior, that I know and prefer. I wish you could have been a little more polite and understanding. All I asked you to do was communicate to state farm that my wheel was damaged and was included on your original estimate. Maybe 5 minutes of your time on the phone, but apparently that makes me a terrible person. You told me you had absolutely no desire to help me with my truck in any way. Truly sad and incredibly rude. State Farm also agreed that you were incredibly unprofessional and rude, and the claims specialist I spoke to said she would be speaking with you about the way you treated a State Farm client. You are one of their select service providers, after all. I dont think they appreciate you treating their clients the way you treated me. Nobody deserves that. I will certainly tell everyone I know about this experience with you and steer them away from this shop.

Dave and his team are truly incredible at what they do. I am amazed by the work they recently completed ok my car. Being in the insurance industry myself, you find that there are a lot of shady people who do windshields, body work, and roofs. Fix Auto does it right and treats their customers with respect. If working with an ethical business is something you’re looking for, I’d 100% recommend this locally owned body shop.

This place was way overpriced and did not consult with me before they did repairs. Poor communication to customers and tried to over charge my insurance company for remaining balance after I paid 500 dollar deductible. As a mechanic myself I would not inflate prices and overcharge the customer like they have. For instance a plastic wheel cover they charged 77.95 for 1 when I got all 4 for 60.00 at the same place they got theirs from and then charge $53.00 to snap it on that takes about 3 min to do. This is just crazy.I would not recommend this price gouging place to anyone.

AWESOME and Friendly! Extremely personable. From the first phone Call to the last. Anytime there was an adjustment with the insurance and the original claim. They spoke to me about it first. Asked if I wanted to stop over and see what changes are needed and discuss how to proceed (Awesome).Thank You for remembering how important it is to still keep in touch with the customer. My car is fine however it took 19 days for my repair to be completed. My husband had a wonderful experience and that is why I took my car here. When I initially brought my car in, I explained that I had a check from my insurance company that was written to my finance company as my car is a lease. The lady at the desk told me she would write me a letter proving to the finance company you were doing the work so they could issue you a check. I dropped my car off a few days later and asked if I could get the letter. There was a different lady there and she told me she would email me the letter ( she never did) and that she would call my insurance company asking them for a new check (which goes against their policy.) She also asked me for my check which was not made payable to you so I refused. A week later I learned that the work had not been started on my car as you were waiting for a new check. Meanwhile I paid for a rental car for 19 days. You also charged my insurance company for a windshield that was already replaced and then wrote me a check for the difference which I then paid back to the insurance company. It was the most ridiculous experience of my life. I was also there 4 times and 3 out of the 4 times I was there, no one was wearing a mask. I am immune compromised and I do not appreciate the lack of care that was taken during the pandemic. My family and friends will never use your body shop and my insurance company is not happy about going against their policy to write you a check instead of my finance company and the fact that you ripped them off for my windshield. They thanked me for being forthcoming and honest as your body shop is clearly not.

I was in for a bumper swap out only. Dave and his team got me in and out at warp speed (only a few hours). I had expected to leave it overnight, so not having to arrange rides on two consecutive days was great.

Excellent customer service and very quick ordering parts needed and completing my repair. I will definitely be coming back in the future! I highly recommend Fix Auto!

I’m actually happy that I got into a car accident my car looks brand new after they fixed it up and they even detailed and cleaned the whole interior I am absolutely ecstatic about how great this place is I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Excellent work. I would use dave beem at fix auto for any of my repairs.He did a hail repair on my 2018 challenger and when i got it back it was immaculate. No traces of hail damage anywhere. There was $9000 of hail damage and it needed paint work as well. The entire car looks beautiful again. True professional and knows his trade.

Fix Auto (formerly Beems) outside Peterson AFB has been our “Go To” collision repair center for nearly 15 years. Perfect workmanship, professional. USAA approved. Some reviews say the owner can be gruff, maybe-I can see it; but in the end you want your vehicle repaired perfectly. I think he’s just “old school” and “All business”. He runs a tight shop and produces superb quality work. So that’s all that matters to me, and I will keep driving all the way from Falcon to use his business! I experienced a hit and run while my car was sitting in the parking lot at my place of employment. State Farm works directly with Beems, and I chose it above the other shops. I am very glad I did. I was given excellent service, friendly and professional people to talk to, and an overall painless and quick experience. Of course dealing with car damage is never fun, but I never had any problems after the fact thanks to these guys! Would very much recommend!

It is completely disheartening to have a brand new car and then have damage done to it. My 2013 Dodge Charger was damaged on the left rear quarter panel and I had many concerns about the quality of work that any body shop may do. I asked my insurance company for recommendations and they suggested Beems. I spoke with people at several different shops before talking to Tony at Beems because of the one bad review posted here. After talking to Tony I realized that he was very knowledgeable and personable. He didnt beat around the bush with the well we could do this or we could do it this way, he simply said for the best results this is the only way to do it right. That kind of confidence sold me on trying Beems and I am glad I did. It took a couple weeks with a terrible rental car but when I got the car back I couldnt be happier. They did a most excellent job, it was absolutely brand new again. I couldnt find any flaws. I highly recommend them to everyone out there. I would have given them the 6th star if there was one. Garbage shop. The owner is a jerk and their work is sub-par. If you want an estimate before you get work done, dont go here. Theyll slip the work authorization form into your packet and say they wont start work until you tell them to, but then theyll start ordering parts and hold your vehicle hostage until you pay for the parts. After I got tricked into signing their authorization I ended up having to pay for most of the work and told them to not fix whatever they hadnt started. The paint work they did had dust in it and the body panels had to be adjusted after the fact by another shop.Fun story, Colorado Springs used to have several good independent, small body shops, and a few years ago the big chain body shops came through and started buying up the good ones. This place clearly didnt make the cut. Save your time if youre going through insurance and pick one of the chain shops. Theyll get it done faster and stand behind their work, and they wont try to scam you into using them.

I went to this shop once before and they did an decent job.... so I thought I would try to go back again after my wife got into a wreck. But this time it was the worst experience I have ever been through!!! They were very disrespectful and did not care to listen to my concerns or my wife’s!!! They were very demeaning and talked down to us so we then asked for the manager, turns out he was the manage that we were talking too!!! I guess he thought we were just a bump in the road but I hope no one else will use them after reading this!!! Our car was not fully fixed when they said it was done and the color of the bumper was not even close to the color of the car!!! So now we have to take it to another auto body shop!!! Please use our experience to avoid problems for yourself!!!!

My car was recently in an accident at no vault of my own. I was told by Progressive to take my car to Beems to have an estimate done. I left my car with them for 2 days. On the second day they called and left me a voice mail message that they could not get my car to turn off and that my ignition was spinning round and round so they had to unplug my battery as well as take out some fuses, by the time I received the message they were already closed. The next day I called Beems and they tell me that I need to pick up my car or they are going to start charging me 30.00 a day to keep it at their place of business. After picking up the car, the adjuster at Beems stated to Progressive that the damage done to my car was not due to the accident I was involved in, this was a bogus statement and I was very upset about it. This was the most unprofessional and mind blowing experience I had ever had to encounter. I will be informing Progressive of the experience that I had with their referral. At this point I feel that I was low balled on the estimate, my ignition still needs to be replaced, and my car is still not repaired. I am extremely unhappy with my experience as well as the lack of professionalism with both Beems as well as Progressive.

I was in a car accident and picked them (certified with State Farm). They originally quoted me a month to get it fixed (like $7,000 worth of damage). But they ended up finishing 2 weeks early. My 2010 Subaru Outback looks better than the day I bought it (used). They also thoroughly cleaned the inside of my car, put all my coins in a ziploc bag, and everything else in a box in the back of my vehicle. Its little details like that, that show what a great company they are. I definitely recommend them. They also took a charge off my account for a tire they had to replace that was already worn minus being messed up in the accident.

Customer service could use some help. The work done on my car was great, I wouldnt know if it was fast it was my first time getting my car repaired.Update:Paint came off car.

Excellent service, professional, courteous and very easy to work with. My step daughter needed work done on her Dodge Nitro after a young boy drove into her doing extensive damage to her car. Beems repaired the damage to factory new condition and handled the insurance claim with no problems at all. This company is a preferred USAA Insurance repair center.

This was a horrible experience My car was in a hit and run so my insurance company brought my car to them and they had my car 3 weeks and when i got it back i still had broke sensor lights on my dash and it has a horrible knocking sound and they didnt put my front licence plate on which is against the law in Co and when I Took my car back to them they insisted that my car was already driving ruff and that the sensor wasnt caused from the accident and they told me to install my license plate myself. My car is now going back into a much better shop to get fixed. My car only has 30,000 miles on it and its a 2015 it drove perfect before my accident. I would not recommend this shop to anyone unless you like throwing away money on rude people who can care less about their customers.

Not super pleased with Beems. I had my car repaired (over $10K of damage) from the hail storm of 2016. I have pieces missing to my car and the windshield wasnt sealed correctly so now I have water coming in and damaging the interior of the car. I didnt notice until this past year, so now Ive got to pay to have it repaired again out of my own pocket. Really upsets me. I wont be using them again. Very disappointed!

My car was in a front end collision this last winter and had some front end damage. Beems was one of the body shops on the network list of my insurance company so I decided to take my car there to have it repaired. Took about a week for the work to be done which was great however I had some fitment issues with my front bumper and headlight. So I took it back and it ended up not being OEM parts which was NOT their fault as the insurance company only paid for certified non OEM parts. Since the parts did not fit right I had OEM parts approved by the insurance and they came in a week later and were installed. Long story short my hood ended up having runs in the clear coat near the tip of the hood and my headlight, had a huge gap between the bumper and the headlight and also did not fit flush with the fender. Took it back a 3rd time for the clear coat issue and they tried to buff the clear down on the hood which worked but in turn left buff marks in its place. The nail in the coffin came when my bumpers paint started to peel and when I tried to open my hood to check the oil the hood latch wouldnt budge. I finally asked the insurance if I could take it somewhere else and after a week or two in that shop they had it all fixed. Some of the fitment issues ended up being that there needed to be some frame adjustments and they found shims under the headlight and the top of the bumper, which was Beems way of attempting to get it to fit flush with the hood.They also found a few missing clips and screws here and there in the mix. Just glad to have my car back and in one piece. In a nutshell, the customer service was ok but the workmanship I would not recommend. Cheers ;-)

I have used Beems for a few incidents, and the work is solid. However, I will not go back as the people working there are extremely rude and short tempered. Especially, the guy that does the estimates. Crotchety old dude that wont even look you in the eye. I dont know why...and, never will.

The guy I spoke with at the desk was rude and dismissive as soon as I came in to ask for an estimate on repairing the damage to my vehicle. He curtly told me that they only take customers who are serious about getting their car repaired and don’t have time for estimates.
