Initial purchase of a used washer and dryer went fine and we even completed their process to fill out a five star review for a discount. After a little over a month our dryer stopped working, but we had purchased the extended warranty, so no big deal, right? Contacting affordable has been spotty at best, only getting a hold of someone after 2 days of trying. Additionally, after we started the warranty process we have been given the run around at every step of the way, there have been days where they said it would arrive and theyd give us a call to let us know when it got there, only to never receive a call, only to find out when reaching out ourselves the replacement never showed. Ive been out of a dryer for almost a week, and I dont expect coordinating delivery to go any smoother with Easter weekend coming up on the most recent day Ive been told they will receive it. For all of the warranty headache and lack of communication on their part, it would have been easier to go elsewhere and pay a bit more for less hassle. I wouldnt suggest Affordable Used Appliances to anyone.

I got a decent deal on a decent fridge, not great, but not bad either. Since it arrived, Ive liked the fridge quite a lot, works well and has a nice functionality. However, when they delivered the fridge, some brain surgeon decided to put scented dryer sheets in the drawers, on some of the shelves, and, worst of all, in the ice maker. After approximately two months, the ice still smells (and tastes) like freakn dryer sheets... YUCK!!!

They have good prices on used appliances. You can also get a one year warranty added on to cover the appliance. The sales rep is nice and Im knowledgeable about the appliances.

Appliance Factory in Colorado Springs has this used appliance store inside. The store is quite nicely laid out. Ethan was very helpful and I bought a used washer and dryer set, plus the extended warranty. Ethan was lowkey and there wasnt any pressure to buy, or to buy new. Great experience all the way around. Would definitely go back if I need any other appliances. Maybe even a new mattress!!!I live outside the delivery area, but had a pickup and straps. Ethan loaded the washer and dryer for me. Got the set back to Buena Vista safely yesterday. Ethan, thanks again for all your help.

Affordable Used Appliances had the parts i needed when our front load dryer went out due to wear and tear. I called several other places and they did not have the parts. Of course, Amazon had them, but they were up to a week out for the parts that I needed. Being a parent in a house with 4 other children, a washer and dryer simply CANNOT go down. Glad Affordable Used Appliances had the parts on hand and were fair priced to get the job done then and there.

Id give them no stars if I could. This store is literally the epitome of poor customer service. Called several times for my no show delivery and absolutely no call back. They are thieves. Will sell you a faulty product, make you pay extra for a warranty they know youll need. Then take forever for any kind of replacement. The replacement will then be faulty. Then the 2nd delivery wont even show up. 😒 might as well go spend your money elsewhere.

Good products, great people, terrible delivery.Bought a used fridge from these folks. The sales team was friendly and knowledgeable and they had a decent range of products in good price ranges. We paid extra for Saturday delivery and installation. However, come delivery day there was an issue with installation and haul away of our old fridge. It took several tries to get someone from the store to call us back - the phone nearly always goes to voicemail. Eventually we spoke to the manager who was very kind and rescheduled the installation and haul away. We spoke a few times and confirmed the new date on multiple occasions. On the new day we cleared our schedules, made sure the water was off, and waited. And waited. The haul away/installation team never showed and we’ve heard nothing from the store despite leaving voicemails while the store was open. Had the delivery gone better I would sing this store’s praises. As it is, I wouldn’t recommend unless you can pick up and install yourself.

A couple months after receiving a replacement washer and dryer set (to replace the washer I bought with broken suspension rods), I now have a broken dryer. Even if I was under warranty I wouldnt go through the hassle of receiving yet another poor quality unit. Im now going to do what I should have done in the first place... Buy a brand new appliance.
