I enjoyed visiting PF. They have a huge and diverse inventory; from art to complete furniture sets. I was left to enjoy my wanderings after I was greeted. I did, and have in the past years as well, make a purchase.To my great surprise P.F. now delivers! There is a fee but not having to worry about how Id get something home was so nice.All of the employees that I encountered were helpful and pleasant. The delivery was on time and although the fellas had a heck of a time getting these huge couches into my older home they remained focused and in the end all was well done, and the youngmen very nice.Thank You PF for another great purchase experience, but with the added Cherry on top; DELIVERY!D. The store has lots of eclectic items that change fast. It took me a minute to figure out their system. If you like something you get the tag and bring it to the checkout. They need more salespeople but overall I am a VERY happy customer.

Great product, and employees. They always help load. Selection changes daily on what they have available but they have things that you cannot find in the traditional Box stores. Well worth it everything Ive gotten here has held up and I love.

Ive shopped here, off and on, for yrs but since revamp, prices have increased exponentially. Completely overrated for arc/goodwill/garage sale type used furniture. Spend the customers money on expensive revamp of store and what trickles down is the loyal customers whom carry the brunt. I used to go into store freq and employees were friendly and helpful, now they are rude and dismissive. Something has shifted within the store and will look for used furniture elsewhere. Have given store last visit. Too expensive, not friendly environment.
Love coming here & just perusing around the store. There are so many neat antiques and unique Furniture items. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask them about their continuing discounts. The longer the furniture sits on their floor, they will take off 5% for each week that the item remains. They also offer military discounts on most items, except for brand new mattresses. Relax, take your time walking around. You may even want to do two laps because you will always find something you missed the first time around!

I love Platte Furniture. I always check here first if Im looking for something for my home. I love the layout and how easy it is to see their wide variety of pieces. I try to go once a week even just to window shop. The ladies that work the floor are always in a good disposition and ready to ask how youre doing. The men that help with the furniture are also very polite, hard working guys. We now have a piece from Platte in every room of our house. Love any place that reuses, reduces, and recycles in such a wonderful way.
Great prices but selection is limited. Walked around for 30 mins with no service, but honestly we werent needing to be hounded either so that worked out for us. Not a bad place to shop on a budget.

Lots of very nice furniture in like new condition. Most if it was new. Mixed with some preowned. We bought a quality Hon 4 drawer cabinet. I used to sell these file cabinets in the 1980s and know theyre a quality product and last a lifetime. We were looking for a cat proof couch. That unicorn still seems unobtainable. Well continue our quest. Otherwise the staff here was friendly and attentive without being clingy.

We recently bought a new house and needed furniture to fill it and this place is my new favorite place in town! The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The selection is AMAZING! They are constantly getting new things in and the discount structure means you always find a good deal. The furniture is always in good shape and inspected. Also, when we had it delivered, the staff was so kind and it was a very smooth process. We have gotten couple pieces form here and will continue to shop here!

This place always had a wide variety of furniture. I go in often to see the new things they have for sale. The only issue is that its hard to get around since everything is arranged a bit messy. Otherwise I love it here. They have reasonable pricing and they are more than willing to help move anything you need or get prices if anything is missing.

This is a fun store. The stock turns over quickly and a person never knows what one might find there. Always very helpful and cheerful staff. There can be some really high quality furniture here for a great price. If your in the market for any kind of furniture, its worth a look.
Trying very hard to turn into a snooty business. Employees acted like you were in their way and the lady trying to describe the new finance option kept on messing up and contradicting what she had just said. Sad to see this place try to become snobbish while still in the rundown part of town.

Everyone was helpful. I would have purchased a particular couch but it was very dirty with brand new prices. The gentleman did not want to negotiate. This was a $500 price tag. At that cost, the items need to be clean.

Wow and I mean wow. This is the best place to shop for used furniture in Colorado springs, at least for me. All pieces are clean, great prices and huge selection of everything. Plus their inventory changes all the time. Weekly visits will net you great deals.Will be back very soon. We bought 5 pieces for our home for $200 dollars. They are amazing! I stopped by to sell some used furniture that was in good condition but found that the guy who would have inspected the furniture I had wasnt there and he declined to buy what I had via pictures sent to him by another employee.I figured Id bring some stuff to them since they wont even come out to see some furniture if it isnt enough pieces. They are VERY picky about the stuff they take in which is understandable if the furniture has too much damage, mine wasnt, but still...very disappointing. Plus, a lot of the stuff they sell has some form of wear and tear.Also, if you get recommended to Another mans treasure dont go there unless the furniture you are selling is basically new or vintage. Save yourself the drive...
Just came to Platte furniture for the first time today and found three excellent bar stools for a great price! Then I was treated very well when I inquired about getting $10 off after doing a review. I would highly recommend this used furniture.
We have purchased and sold furniture here and have always had pleasant experiences. The owners are responsive and friendly, and the furniture movers are great. They are very careful with your items.
It is a strangely addictive experience to walk through this store, looking for those special pieces for your home, checking tags for the current discount, leather for the living room, red leather for the theater room, oak for the bedroom, whatever your fancy, they have it in droves. The prices are good and the selection changes from week to week. If you see a piece you like, grab the tag!

This is where I’ll be looking for my future furniture. My MIL and I stopped in this weekend me they have beautiful furniture and great prices!! I wish I needed a new couch because there was a really nice brand new one for a under $1000. Can’t wait to come back and look around again. The people working were all helpful and nice as well!

We absolutely love Platte Furniture. The staff is a really nice blend of friendly yet professional, and I love just walking through and looking at the neat new items. Of course, we usually end up buying something. We have gotten in the habit of always going there prior to going to a new furniture store, and often dont have to go to the latter! The quality of the merchandise has definitely improved over the years, and it goes great with my eclectic style. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 6 pieced we purchased there and were not disappointed in any of them! Thank you!!!

My starting spot when I need furniture. They have some great stuff and a good selection, in good shape and clean. Ive bought several pieces from them over the years. I also bought a couch and love seat set from them one year and sold it back to them the next year, when I decided to change the room from a parlor to a game room. Nice working with them and they deliver for a fee.

This store is amazing. Huge variety from industrial, country classic, modern chic, funky solely-Colorado eclectic-shabby, ( you know what I mean, where else can you find a gorgeous lavender sofa?..) old world one of a kind pieces. There is just too much too list. Inventory changes practically daily so each time you go its like a new store. There honestly is something for everyone. The coffee is always hot. Staff is personable and friendly, never pushy like most sales people. Youre allowed to browse freely without a person hoovering over you yet theyre always ready to answer any questions. Just as advertised. LIKE NEW Used furniture at great prices. The longer its in stock the price goes down on most items!!! 5% each 2 week increment. Roughly 10% a month. Many items state professionally cleaned I saw no pet hair on any of the pieces. No claw marks. Solid quality furniture and deeply discounted prices. Name brands galore as well as some new stuff at 1/2 of retail. If you are on a budget, or even just thrifty (translates to cheap), you most certainly could decorate a whole house for pennys on the dollar.I WILL BE BACK
I purchased a box spring last week. It was delivered the same day, something I was not expecting. The guys who delivered it came right when it was scheduled. They actually removed these two particle boards I was using as support for my mattress. Im thankful I purchased from them instead of purchasing from a big box store, and paying way more. Overall, great purchasing experience and I highly recommend.

You used to be able to go to this place and buy used furniture, at a fair price. NOT anymore. Some of the furniture is nice but the owner has decided his used furniture is worth much, much more than its worth. It was a great place at one point. Not anymore. Its just an over priced used furniture store and I dont ever buy there anymore. To bad.

Quality USED furniture, rugs, accessories worth looking into. They deliver but I dont know if there is a cost for delivery. Not many sales personnel to ask questions about anything, but very nice items and you can sell your items through Platte Furniture and I believe they pick up your items.
A friend recommended that I visit Platte Furniture to find peruse some unique items at fair prices. I had read the reviews here and had some concerns. I could not disagree more with the negative reviews. I can only surmise that there are people out there who do not understand the prices of quality furniture. Even used, a good quality couch, or chest, or table commands a good price. There is cheap stuff out there, but in a walk through of the store, I could not find any of it. The store is clean. The employees are wonderfully helpful, there is a buzz of activity indicating to me that they move product. No comparison for me, this is far and away the best used furniture store I have ever visited. Good on ya. Were coming back.

What a shock! You go in and are assaulted by a huge inventory - all kinds and styles, old and new, every era and so many choices. Everything is in serviceable condition, maybe brand new in box or old classics needing Reupholstery. We were blown away and walked slowly through this huge space. You must see this place. Some of the prices are crazy high, but most are crazy low!!
I absolutely LOVE this store. Unique, quality, gently-used furniture at great pricing!! I live 2 hours away and whenever I make a trip to Colorado Springs I make sure I stop in for a little down time and to see what new pieces they have in stock. Kyle has always been professional, pleasant, and flexible. The floor staff answers questions enthusiastically and nicely. Definitely a store to keep on your list to visit!!
