Great Customer Service. I got quoted $2000 for door replacement. I called in Home Depot to see if I could get a better quote. I did and they also offered warranty on the door and installation. They were very informative and friendly. Thank you Jeffrey for being very helpful. I had such a positive customer experience.Update:The new doors have been installed and it was A++ experience with their customer service. Ms. Linda was very helpful when I had any questions.
Visited about 4 P.M. Friday afternoon. Found what I was looking for and went to check out. No registers were open!! A young woman was working the front and I asked how to pay for my items. I was told rather curtly to use the self check out or use the carpentry counter. So i walked over to the self check out area. 4 machines available with 3 in use. I went to the 4th machine which did not work--no sign or warning. Very negative experience. How do you expect to keep customers if you have little or no customer service??
I ordered almost $2000 worth for product for a fencing job on 04/28/21 to be delivered on 05/08. Shorter delivery time than I expected so thats cool. They deliver my order, with confirmation emails and receipts in my mailbox. When I arrive home, they only delivered half of the order! Receipt says two pallets and they clearly only dropped off one. This is for a fencing project and they didnt deliver the fence panels...the main part of the project. Called the store and they said they will refund my delivery charge and deliver the product on 05/12. Still waiting for that refund. They deliver the panels on 05/12 but they brought the WRONG FENCE!!!! I call back again. They said they will pick up the wrong fence and deliver the correct one on 05/17. Its 05/16 today and I receive a call saying that the order that I had paid for was wrong and that I owe more because its a special order that is not available in stores. THE DISPLAY IS OUTSIDE THE STORE. I ORDERED FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE! They say the fence cost $73 when the display says $63 (I will attach a photo if I can). The employee told me that the $63 is when you order more than 3 panels....Im ordering 25! The manager will not honor what Ive paid and insist that I have to pay the difference to get the correct fence. I have not had a fence for 3-4 weeks now. Im very inconvenienced because I have dogs and I have also had to reschedule my contractor 3 TIMES!! This store is ridiculous. Lowes is down the road and they care for their customers.
Their receiving department needs to do a better job at verifying contents of orders shipped to store, especially if the box isnt scanning/ripped during transit. They assumed two boxes were my whole order and marked it complete, when in fact the second item was still in transit.To be continued...
Home Depot is essentially the same wherever you patronize. The layout is exactly how you would anticipate finding it. The staff is knowledgable and helpful if you have and ask a question. Today I utilized the self checkout kiosk and everything was smooth. All in all, a good experience. It did not utilize the restrooms therefore I cannot advise you of their cleanliness.

38 mins to get one board cut. 27 mins 2 get a piece of rope cut. ignored by pro desk employees until finally one of them cut the rope. Cashier (Georgia) dismissed my wife with a talk to the hand when trying to give her number for rope. Should have gone to lowes.

Good visit i brought 3 boxes vinyl flooringI got to check out ring up $40 I told the clerk I didnt want it..sign said $31 ..so I pushed cart to the side and left. Guess what I came back 🤪 cart still their so I got it and got back in line and brought it. Lol I also brought a light kit for my ceiling fan that went well.
I shop at Home Depot for my husbands tools. The tool department associates always go out of their way to help me. Theyve even followed me to the check out and carried large tools out for me.Thank you all so much!

U shop at Home Depot often. My only complaint is there is a need for more help loading all my large home improvement items. Eighty pound bag if concrete and 4x8 3/4 inch plywood is a bit much for me the lift alone.
Young cashier rude as can be. Manager had to come help bc he didnt feel like entering a sku # to ring up. I could tell he was new and wont trying to give him a hard time until he popped off with some smart disrespectful mess.
Got me a beautiful plant, and garden hose, not a bad price either. Everyone was very helpful and nice.

Make sure your chargers are correct before you leave the store. My card was charged a total of $700 for 350 deposit on a tool rental. Everything fully processed through the bank. The lady that works in bookkeeping said she wasn’t gonna waste her time to even look up the transaction to see what was going on the problem was my bank. My bank told me that it was an issue on their end because they charged two separate charges. Find it very frustrating that the lady wouldn’t even take any of my information to try and look up the transaction she just simply told me to wait 5 to 10 more days
I shop the Home Depot for plants mostly. They have some great deals most of the time on some of the more rare plants if you catch them on shipment days. Good customer service and friendly associates and lots of products for all your needs.

Cashier on personal cell phone appeared bothered by the interuption of ringing up my purchase, not customer friendly at all. Leaving, I witnessed Home Depot associates tieing sheets of plywood and drywall with white twine on the roof of a sedan. Deadly accident waiting to happen.

I was struggling with a sheet of 7/16 plywood because I put myself in a difficult position and one of the workers there gladly helped me in my time of need. We had a laugh about it after. I really appreciated that.

Needed pressure treated pickets for railing. Stock supply was there and in good shape. Store associate even cut them to length. Great customer service.

Loved Mr James in flooring from the Colonial Heights store didnt have everything in stock that I needed but called several stores to confirm inventory listed online versus sending me store to find they didnt have it. Wished this could be said of the Chester store they failed. GREAT JOB ONCE AGAIN MR JAMES.
Usually a good place to get home repair material, but these days the shelves are in disarray, employees non-existent. Some shelves are fronted and faced, but with entirely wrong stock and wrong prices. Store management is lacking and has been for a while now. Morning staff meetings seem to focus more on stretching and clapping hands then actually addressing stock and department staffing issues. As much volume as this store does, you would expect a better management team. Stick to Chester or Midlothian if you want consistent stock and better customer support.
