I had a remote start out on my 2018 Dodge Ram about a year ago and they did a really good job. They thoroughly explained my options (no pressure) and explained how the mechanism was put together and how it functioned. Great attitudes as well. Highly recommend

Adam was the audio expert who answered every question I had even though I am at most a novice when it comes to car audio. He did not try to oversell me rather he listened to what I was looking for and gave me a number of wise suggestions. I will be going back tomorrow to set up my appointment for my sub installation. I am returning the car sub I bought on Amazon and Amazon is not charging me shipping after I explained why I made a mistake buying from a company called Creative Audio selling car subs on Amazon. Adam gave me the knowledge to explain to Amazon why I was choosing to buy and install locally! I cant wait to get my new sub installed by Audio Express. I feel confident I will not be disappointed!

Great service!! Went there to get my subwoofers connected. A month later my amp went bad and they didn’t have the amp I needed but they gave me another more powerful amp for really cheap price compared to the original. Getting door speakers installed and definitely coming to them to connect them

I brought my SUV in because I thought I was having a remote start issue. Nope, it was the battery. What did they do??? They fixed it! The battery had nothing to do with the remote start and they fixed the problem that wasnt even their issue. They could have sent me to Nissan but fixed it while I waited. Thank you!

Wanted a remote start for my new “old” beater. They laid out out my options and let me decide without pushing me in any direction. They answered all of my questions and were 100% cool with what I decided on. I love it when people work for you and not their bottom line! They are genuine car audio people. They are not like every other nickel and dime shops, they care about their customers, and put their customers above making a dollar. This past week I went to Audio Express looking for a little better sound out of my stereo. Thanks to Colonial Heights Audio Express store I got my sounds back!I came in with this Crazy Squeaking Sound in my Double Din Clarion unit.Not knowing where the sound was coming from they checked out the complete sound system to discover it in the head unit and also a bad Rockford amp. they got me back on the road with a quick new Kenwood Head unit...thanks Audio Express,Reggie

I went to audio express in colonial heights to get a new radio. The radio is great and looks amazing my only problem is when they took off my dash they broke the clips to put it back on so they thought it would just be ok to GLUE IT BACK ON!! Not too happy about that. I dont think you would have someone doing that to your stuff, so why do it to your customers?!

Ive been here twice now and have received nothing but great service each time. Adam has helped me by not only instructing me on the right product but taking the time to look at my current set up really adding value vs. selling expensive things I dont need. Most recently I bought an amp for my subs two RF 10 p2s. He tested them with his voltmeter and picked the exact amp I needed. This place is awesome no over selling and quick service.

I recently had Audio Express install 2 remote start systems as Christmas gifts. Both vehicles presented different challenges and the entire staff stayed on the job well past closing ( hours ) to see that it was completed properly. Everyone there went above and beyond to get it done. That started with Adam, who set up and saw the transaction thru to Jason who did the installs. When challenged he refused to let us down. Too seldom do I see this level of service. For that I thank you.

Just had our 12 year old remote start fixed at this location, I can not believe how very knowledgeable and helpful Adam was in getting this fixed so quickly. We thought we would have to have it removed ( since 12 yrs. is a long run for any system). But it turns out the system was fine it was a switch malfunction on the truck that was causing the problem. I am sure that other places could have taken advantage of this situation but not this audio express. We are so glad that there people like this still around and that they know what they are doing.We will return to them in a minute if the need occurs. We highly recommend this location.

Really bad experience whit this ppl i was looking for jbl speakers they dont have it and they offer me others speakers supposed better jbl. They not even close to jbl. I spend about 500$ and spekers installed sound like the same before change speaker now they told me i have spend like 350 and amplified that will help realy if u looking to upgrade u speaker found other place could be better and installed charnge 220 just for change speker realy hight price good luck

I bought a kenwood excelon ddx8901hd from these guys and they hooked me up right and helped me configure a system for exactly what i wanted. I would effinately recommend these guys for any of your car audio needs and will definately be back for speakers.

Audio Express Colonial Heights sold me expensive audio equipment without addressing the noise issues!I bought a 10-year-old Nissan Sentra in early 2013. All speakers were worn out, including the weak OEM subwoofer, and there were high-pitched noises in the system.I took it to Audio Express Colonial Heights right away and asked them to replace the speakers and address the noise. Note: the existing aftermarket head-unit had a built-in 22W RMS x 4 MOSFET amplifier. We agreed to install four new Rockford Fosgate (RF) speakers and an RF amp; and the goal would be a superior-sounding system with no noise.When Audio Express completed the work I paid over $1,000; about half of it went toward the speakers and other half toward the amp. Audio sounded great in the new system, but there was a problem: while the original high-pitched noises were no longer there, the new system was emitting a sound that was characteristic of alternator whine.I returned to Audio Express about the noise and, to fix it, they slapped an RCA noise suppressor on there and reduced the gain on the amplifier. This did not fix the problem. Given the fact that they initially installed the new hardware without addressing noise, and still didnt fix it when I returned, what hope did I have that the problem could be fixed; and what was the value of having RF Punch speakers and an RF Power amp?Fast-forward I moved to Richmond and, this year, I took the Sentra to Audio Express Richmond. I asked the Richmond location to pull out all of the stops to identify and address the alternator-like whine. $200+ later they applied a band-aid that eventually unraveled--and the noise returned within weeks.After enduring the noise for too long, Ive decided to remove the amp from the equation. Lo and behold, now my head-unit from 2013 is powering the speakers, and the noise has disappeared! I certainly understand that my head-unit’s amp cannot possibly compare to the exquisite RF Power T400-4 that Audio Express sold me. But Audio Express upsold me an amplifier that, in hindsight, was unnecessary because the gain was set low anyway and it was amplifying the noise that occurred somewhere between my head-unit and the RF amplifier.
