A very large collection of shoes to choose from. The store is set up very nicely with ample space to walk around while shopping. Highly recommended.

I couldnt shop in peace. I were followed around because I didnt purchase anything as fast as they would have liked. So, a purchase was not made. They lost a customer.

Me and my mom went to the store went into the store looking for shoes at shoe carvinal in Petersburg, VA located in South Hill. A white lady in the white and purple shirt followed us around the store looking at us while we were shopping. We felt very uncomfortable and we left. Show carnival needs to do better to help their customers!

Nice and clean store. They have a good selection of shoes to but one pair I wanted I didnt see my size but I made up for it with 2 other pair.

The store was clean and organized. I just have the same problem I always have there. No shoes for women in size 11.5. I try to get mens shoes but theyre either too wide or make my foot look huge. I just wish I didnt always have to order my shoes online.

Its not hard to understand why these stores are going out of business. The stock is great, mostly because no one actually purchases the over priced shoes. The constant sales and really the only thing keeping the store relevant.

It was little difficult to find what I needed, as shoes are displayed on shelves by style, not sizes. BUT, I was looking for very wide width athletic shoes and I found a great pair at a good price. Oddly, no employee offered to help me .

Great selection of shoes, sneakers, sandals and boots. Great clearance section with awesome markdowns for ladies, men and kids shoes. Name brands galore, as well as decent off-brands. Best prices on Nike. Also accessories (socks, shoe strings, etc). Plus they have a rewards card program. Only thing is, for the high end sneakers, they only have one shoe in the box...you go up to check out and a staff member must go retrieve the other shoe. This practice maybe keeps down theft, but I had to wait more than 10 mins at the register for someone to go get the other shoe. Frustrating. Other than that, I say go check it out.

Could not find shoes to fit me. My wife found some for her but not me. They need to have a bigger selection of wide shoes.

The general manager was very knowledgeable and took the time to fit me for the correct shoe.

Hello! My name is Tessa (husbands Richard). We visited your store on January 20, 2018. We visit the Colonial Heights, VA. location often (have never left a review), but tonight we felt we needed to do so. Sales associate, Grant, is absolutely the best!!!!!!This guy is the most caring and patient sales associate either my husband or I have ever dealt with. We were in the store for over 2 hours and Grant helped us with nothing but a positive attitude. He never made us feel like we were getting on his nerves (LOL). Grant has the most kind spirit. He was extremely helpful to us. My husbands shoe size is a 15. When my husband would find shoes he liked, his size wasnt available. Grant would take the time to check online to see if he could possibly get his size for him (I know he did that for us about 4 or 5 times). Grant NEVER seemed bothered. We sincerely appreciate Grant!!!!!!!! My husband asked him did he work on commission. He said no. We purchased 5 pairs of shoes and it was all thanks to Grant. So he may not get commission, but my husband and I feel as though Grant either deserves a raise or a promotion (GRANTS THE BEST. PLEASE DO ONE OR THE OTHER)!!!!!!Once again, THANK YOU Grant for making my husband and I feel truly welcome in your store!!!! We both look forward to coming back...purchasing more shoes and having YOU as our sales associate. ;-)

Excellent customer service by the employees !

The employees are excellent. However, they dont carry speed for women in large sizes, 11 wide - On. They claimed they did have some but sold out, and couldnt order more, which they by had MORE THAN ENOUGH signs stating that if you couldnt find your size, they will definitely order them. Well, after trying 5+ pairs of boots on, then seeing if they could order them, it was a no. Straight up no. They should have womens shoes in bigger sizes at all times. I am extremely upset.

Thankfully the store was somewhat organized otherwise I never would have found what I was looking for because there was not an employee anywhere on the sales floor. I opted to buy childrens soccer cleats there instead of a sports store because of the lower price on similar brands, but the lack of customer service on the sales floor was disappointing. The cashier was very courteous, but it would have been better if he had at least been available to find where the cleats were located in the store.
