Children running wild in the store, parents would not control their respective children. I almost got knocked over, by the children.Store shelves are in disarray. Store was potentially understaffed. Had to wait a while to pickup a curbside order. No phone number to call on sign on the front windows. Thus the required entry to crazy atmosphere of the store. Staff was friendly, but overwhelmed.

I just wanted to say that the young man working in the front of the store today between 12-1pm was such a good employee and you should know that. He was so nice, spoke to everyone and acted happy to assist and answer questions even though he was busy, alone and doing it all. Just have to applaud someone who does all that and with a smile. You got a good one there. Give that man a raise....just saying.

Overall a great store but as usual there is always something I need not there... Especially after I look on line & it is reported to be in stock 🙅

Good selection. It was a little picked over when I was there. But it looked like only one person was there, so that could explain it. He was nice, friendly and eager to help. Many masks and party accessories and ideas.

Went there for two balloons and birthday candles. After waiting in line for 35min finally got to the register bought my items only to be told there was a three hour wait for balloons to be blown up. They really should put a sign on the door before you even go in the store. I was so mad I ended up just getting money back. The three people that was in line behind me also walk out. The girl had a major attitude because I wanted a refund. I told her if you would told me about the three hour wait before I wouldnt have bought anything.

After a terrible experience at the Midlothian store we researched more and drove south! Completely worth the trip! Grace (I hope that was her name!!)was happy to help us and filled our balloons so our long awaited weather project could be completed.

Great place to make someones birthday special. Good customer service balloon lasted 4 days. My wife laughed and wore the crown for several hours. Thank you party city!

Horrible the staff here are so very rude the manager or supervisor Tai was horribly rude and so were the staff on duty with her that day. They messed up my order and my sisters order and were even apologetic for their error instead they were laughing and making jokes. The store was empty they didnt have much instock and Im annoyed that I even gave them my business. Go there if you want to be annoyed or recieve horrible service.

1/8/2021 Ordered only 8 balloons & a couple party supplies for curbside pickup. I let them know when I was on the way as well as I called the number when I arrived which rang off the hook. So, I ended up having to go in the store. Which defeats the whole purpose!! Only 1 person at the register helping someone. Two others on the floor that seemed to be just chatting away. One decided to come help me but was pretty rude. I guess I was interrupting her video call. Which she stayed on as she was helping me. Then they didnt follow the simple instructions of separating the balloons. Also, she almost forgot to give me my other supplies. Which then I had to wait for her to go find in the back of the store. So sorry I made you do work..... Be happy you have a job bc theres plenty of people who dont!!!

I bought birthday balloons for 31.00 two numbers and twelve balloons. I got two numbers and 9 balloons. Count them before they bag them

DeAngelo at this location has PHENOMENAL customer service! He went out of his way to deliver something to me AFTER WORK! That is among the best customer service I have ever seen! Speaking as someone who has been through multiple customer service trainings with multiple organizations, this was extremely impressive! DeAngelo deserves to be commended greatly!

The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is for the cashier that had more questions and not many answers when asking about what they were selling and when they would get more of certain items. If I shop again it would be online.

Got 26 balloons blown up and not even 12 hours later none of them wouldn’t float anymore.

I can already know why this store was completely alone without customers when I arrived. The attention is very bad. The woman who attended was upset because I spoke Spanish and little English made gestures that made the client feel very bad. I really prefer to spend twice what I was going to spend in that store, but pay for better customer service. I dont want to go back there.

Its a good company with a great selection but the fact that I had to pay for getting balloons filled that I bought there was absolutely appalling. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but I think its total BS!

We visited on Sunday afternoon and interacted with 3 different staff members and all 3 were extremely friendly and helpful. 5 stars for customer service!

Emplyees stood around the front registers and had a party while we waited.

Ordered balloons for curbside pickup. We couldnt get in touch with anyone at the store; the telephone line was always busy. We had to go into the store to pick up our order. We came to pick up balloons 50 minutes after our pick up time & not everything was ready. Very disappointed.

Only 2 people in front of me at checkout and still had to wait about 20 minutes before I made it to the register. When I left there were about 12 people In line to check out. Definitely need more cashiers

Very unprofessional. Had a pick up order TODAY 03/21/2020 already PAID FOR. Store closed. Never was notified about closure. Never got my refund nor balloons. Cashier never took my information. I have my receipt.

We will drive a lonnnnnng distance if we ever need Party City again, to avoid this location. This location is disheveled and unfriendly. During this visit we needed two small items, we located the items with the help of a staff member in the back(hes the only reason for the 1 star). We waited in line for around 10 minutes along with a few others, some gave up, ditched their items and left.. Finally someone came from the side door, food in her mouth and an attitude. No smiles, no apologies, no have a nice day... Just the total.

I am always amazed at the vast selection the have of every conceivable party item. I always find exactly what I want. Strongly recommend it.

We went there to look for costume for Halloween .Service was okay they had a dressing room to try costumes are which was good. Cashier was kinda rude.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Service was TERRIBLE. We spent so much money here for my nephews birthday party and the people here were so rude and made you feel stupid. I would suggest never going here if you don’t absolutely have to. We bought a bunch of big balloons and just because we didn’t buy them from THIS LOCATION they made us show receipts and everything to get them blown up. Such an inconvenience and will never be using them again unless it’s an emergency last minute thing. Worst party city by far.

Only had one cashier doing everything from ringing customers up to filling balloons with helium. You could tell she was frustrated during the interactions with customers. And to top it off their instore inventory was non-existent. I needed a huge Sweet 16 balloon but they didnt have it so I had to purchase several small sweet 16 balloons to get the same Wow effect. Think this was just a way to make the customer spend more money.

Well stocked location. Hard to find things. Staff stayed at the counter and didnt ask to help. I did find what I was looking for eventually.

Prices a little high but a huge selection. Great clearance items when looking for party items for large groups. However, Wal-Mart had more Paw Patrol party items than Party City had. (Go figure)

Super disappointed in this location today. I came in to get a few 40th birthday party balloons. They seemed to be out of all the balloons that said 40th on them... there were a bunch to choose from. The only one they had was a HUGE one for $15 and it was the very last one so I chose it. There was only one girl working with a line of people. She rang me up and then started to blow up my balloons all while answering and helping other people. The balloon... the last 40th balloon in the store... was defective and would not inflate. Poor girl had to go back to the register and ring up the people in line then do a return for me so she could go back to being the only one helping and assisting people in the front.I give her 5 stars because she kept her cool and she did her best to make the situation work. This store was in poor shape today and looked very out of stock... especially in Balloons. It looked very disorganized and there was no help. Took over 30 mins for me to walk out disappointed.

Needed to find a specific color for cups for a very special birthday party and Party City come through.

I only come here for balloons and they never seem to have what I need. Its always close but exact. Then again its party city my expectations are low to begin with.

I had went into the store on July 29, 2017 looking for a bouquet of balloons that I had saw online. Unfortunately the store didnt have the exact bouquet that I wanted but one of the associates (purple hair) was so kind she went above and beyond to help me create the one I saw online. Ive been a customer for years and I spend a lot of money in party city but Ive never had a experience like I had today!

Wait was a little long to get a balloon filled but everything else was great

I went in looking for the ever so popular LOL doll party invitations. The website stated there were 6 in the store. There were none hanging in the appropriate area when I went into the store. When I asked an associate about this, they stated that the online system is wrong. They didnt look in the back or check inventory. I looked at the Midlothian store and they had 2 listed. I ordered online and when I went to pick it up, everything was correct. That store was much more organized as well. Colonial Heights needs to do a better job of accounting for their inventory and making an effort to find it when a customer comes in. A friend told me the same thing happened to her so how many people are coming in to purchase items that might possibly be in the store and are turned away?

I spent over $80 Had ballons blown up. Had to pay for them. Shopped for additional merchandise that totaled $57. I had coupons for over $60. Combined it was over 60. But they insisted and I could not use my coupon. Very frustrating!

I usually go here to purchase balloons for my children’s birthday only for the selection, each time I’ve gone to this location the staff are not pleasant or friendly and usually wait a long time to check out even when the store is not busy. I will not be shopping here anymore at either location.
