I enjoyed my appointment! Myla was such a sweetheart and was so helpful! The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and professional. The doctor was very nice and answered all my questions. They were able to change my lenses the same day, which was so nice, but I did have to wait quite a while for them to get done. That’s okay though, it was still nice to get them done that same day! While I was waiting, I had about three employees come up to me to make sure I had been waited on and they even checked the status of my lenses for me. They were very attentive and professional. Definitely will be returning!

The physician was very kind and explained my prescription in depth so I understood what could be possible causes and how my glasses will help. The staff was friendly and helpful. They explained my options and the cost/deals available. They also were very careful to follow all of the Covid protocols. Will go back.

Very dissatisfied. Visited the Collierville location. Everyone was rude. I got an eye exam that i paid for TWICE, by two different optometrists At this location and neither of them could get my prescription correct. Nor did they take the time to care. 6 minutes in an exam. On to the next one. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to make this right and they couldn’t. Spent $600 here and on the 2nd attempt my prescription was still terribly wrong. They DID NOT care. The man today 9/24/2020 running the desk, gave me a refund for the glasses and would not refund me for the eye exam. When you pay for an eye exam you are paying for the prescription correct ? Well he stated the failed two time eye exam wasn’t refundable. I GAVE THEM TWO CHANCES to make this right and obviously they hire incompetent optometrists. You have one job. And they still couldn’t get my prescription right. I want a refund for my eye exam as I paid for an eye exam to get a prescription and that wasn’t satisfied. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the staff is knowledgeable. But if you’re getting an eye exam and glasses, expect a 3-hour wait. And that’s IF you setup an appointment. I’ve been skipped several times, and overall will go somewhere else next time for my eye care needs.

The worst location I have ever dealt with for eyecare!The eye exam was rushed and she didn’t even seem qualified. I tried to get fitted starting in Dec of 2019.Now after all this time, now Feb 2020, I still have no contacts! The staff is very slow and incompetent. They do not follow up or call back. I tried to contact them with an update for some samples at least six or seven times no one seems to know how to help me!I finally give up and I will never be back! Also with my exam charge I still have no contacts and I have to pay to go some where else!

I was seen at the Collierville location today by Dr. Braswell and she was amazing! As well as, Jamal and Markel! They were very informative and helpful. I was hesitant to go to get my eyes checked due to Covid-19, but they were so thorough and thoughtful. There was a guy cleaning glasses and surfaces as soon as customers were done trying them on. I felt safe throughout my stay and feel confident enough to bring my daughter for her annual visit. If you need eye care you should definitely go them out. Tell them Mrs. Turner referred you.

Walked in without an appointment for an exam, contacts, and eyeglasses. Customer service was so amazing as soon as I walked in and waited only about 5 minutes to be seen. Ladies who helped me in the eyewear department were phenomenal and so very helpful looking up every detail of my insurance policy to help me get exactly what I needed. Left with contacts that day and my two pairs (One free - thank those ladies again!) of glasses were ready within the next two days. I have been to many eye doctor places over the years and this has been by far the best experience Ive ever had. Definitely recommend and will be returning yearly from now on.

They was extremely nice and did a wonderful job with my children. From here on out this will be my childrens eye doctor. We got a next day appointment, they was very patient with my kids and the wait time wasnt long at all. My kids was nervous because it was their first eye exam but they made them feel safe and my kids love it there. I will recommend anyone to use their service. Would give a 10 star if I could.

I had a new lady optometrist who administered my exam eye....very knowledgeable!! And the lady who helped me pick my glasses and handle all the paperwork & payment was extremely knowledgeable about my insurance!! In this store, they only have demo frames for you, and this is a $196 frames. I keep asking for a new frame because I can only have a pair of glasses in two years, so I want a good quality glasses. But they insisted the entire company do not have a new frame. OK, if thats the case then please let me know, I can choose another frame or go to other store. The total cost for this basis single–vision reading glasses is about $400. But, tell you the true, I had a new frame and good service two years ago.

Had an appointment scheduled for 4:30. I was a new customer, so I showed up at 3:50ish. I was in and out by 4:30. They were very quick, but took enough time to explain things and make me feel important.I have good insurance, so I didn’t have to pay a penny, but everyone was extremely helpful.

Jamal was incredible! I am in town visiting my hometown with my girlfriend. I accidentally packed contact lenses cleaner thinking it was daily solution. Needless to say my girlfriend soaked her contacts in it over night. When she went to put her contact in, she was met with an incredible burn! We rushed to Vision Works and after having her prescription faxed over Jamal gave us a pair of contacts (monthly ones) for ABSOLUTELY FREE! Completely ignorant to insurance guidelines. Told me a contact lens fitting wasnt covered by insurance- I called, covered at 100% told them this and they still acted like my insurance company lied to me. We had an eye exam on Wednesday and were told it was ok to come back and pick out frames on following Saturday and we could get them that day since the lens were in stock. We go up there and again total disorganization and we were then told that they wouldnt be able to do the frames and lens that day. They had the lens in stock but werent able to verify eligibility- we were just there 3 days before. I was told that I could go ahead and pay my copay and they would verify Monday and get them done for us to pick up. Called at 1 pm Monday- still havent checked insurance and not ready. Manager on duty got snippy with me and I told him to cancel the order and I would be back by this afternoon to pick up my money. He hung up on me. Per my insurance, no one had called customer service regarding benefits except for me. I also had a pair of frames being replaced under warranty. . When I first called, no one knew anything about my order and didnt know anything about warranty frames or new frames/lens. I was told I need to talk to this person and not this person and given the complete run around. I asked for management and was told Jan is the manager but shes out until Friday. I called insurance and let them know and wanted to insure no claims would be paid for the services. Eye exam its self was less than par. I would never recommend them at all. They need to learn customer service, insurance guidelines and professionalism. I will also be notifying their integrity department since they boast on their website about their high levels of integrity and customer service. Now, heres to hoping they have my warranty frames and copay and prescription for me to pick up this afternoon.

Great customer service, I came in today for my daughter broken glass . Jamal took care of us like we were family. As a walk in, you expect to wait a long time, but Jamal and his colleague ( African American young lady) made it happen all in less than 20 minutes . I went in to Visionworks to get an eye exam and my doctors were very generous. Even though Sherita works on doctor side she took time out to help me look for frames and quote prices. She also made sure I was very satisfied.

Make sure to ask for Devin the very second you walk in, because he is gonna make your day. Also, dont let him change the thermostat. Rumor has it that he changes it all day long. This makes no sense. I have 10 days for a contact shipment and they have 5 days worth of dailies contacts for me when I ordered. Told me that I was able to get another box until my shipment arrived. My 2 year old broke my glasses and its going to rain and the only rx glasses I have are my shade. This is BS. Switching companies after I get my contacts. Rules of this place sucks. They are misinforming their customer and not telling things clearly. If I knew I had to make a new pair of glasses I would of just did my glasses then but wait it is another up charge and because of the wait on them making the glasses.... they would leave me blind and cant work. Great customer support and services that wont give me a different brand so I can work until I get my contact shipment. Wanted me to do another eye exam for 120.00 when I have already spent for the exam and the 6 months supply of contact.

Horrible customer service! No one spoke when we entered. Several associates just looked up and didnt say a word. Finally we were acknowledged. They werent able to verify my insurance (they dont have online verification access and the insurance closed on weekends), but they did not offer to go ahead and take measurements. Only said come back Monday. They should be familiar with common insurances.I even called prior to visiting the location and gave an associate the insurance carrier. That person did not tell me they couldnt verify it. I was told to come inA wasted trip! I went to the one on Poplar and Ridgeway and received grade A customer service the second I opened the door! They were able to assist and the glasses will be in soon. This Collierville location will NEVER have to worry about receiving my business or referrals. They werent even busy! Poplar location was and still made sure everyone was acknowledged and helped.

I wish there was an option to leave a comment without adding a rating but I just wanted to say I wasnt impressed. I scheduled a 4pm appointment for a vision test and I was sitting there in the waiting area after checking in for a good 10-15 mins without even been given paperwork to fill out. The workers there were busy working hard so I dont put anything on them but I just feel that when you schedule an appointment for a specific time, you should be seen within that specific time. I value my time too much to leave it in the hands of people who are disorganized so I just ended up walking out. I rather give my business and recommendations to Pearle Vision, across the street.

Visionworks in Collierville is a fantastic “one stop and shop”. I got a complete eye exam, picked out my frame and had my prescription filled. The doctor and staff especially Landi were knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. They had a huge selection of frames and I was able to use my insurance. They also had all kinds of deals going on to use if you don’t have insurance. I would highly recommend them!!

Terrible experience! I needed and eye exam for new glasses. My chief complaint was blurry vision, distance and near. My optometrist never introduced herself or asked me if I had any problems. I did not get a thorough eye exam. My near vision was never checked.After wandering around the optical shop for an hour with no help at all, I was asked if I was ready to check out. When I sat down to review my eyeglass choice I asked if my near vision prescription changed. Neither my near or far prescription changed, and my near vision was not checked.When I asked to be brought back to have near vision checked, I was told the optometrist is not to be bothered during her lunch, I could come back in an hour.I left without a new prescription and a significant amount of time wasted. I would not recommend vision works in Collierville at all!This facility is a terrible example of healthcare.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in over an hour before they closed just to get frames (I already had my prescription from my doctor). The ladies at the desk told me that I had until 7 pm to pick out my glasses, even though they close at 8. At 6:55, I had them picked out and was ready to buy them. Then the ladies told me that it would take 25 minutes to process my order and that since its almost 7 pm and the visionworks doctor is about to leave, they didnt have time to enter my information into the computer. The doctor passed me on the way out and wouldnt even wait a few extra minutes for my order to be placed. As I said before, I already had my prescription, so the doctor didnt even need to perform an exam. So this was a wasted trip. I dont recommend coming here.
