2020 Explorer XLT. 25,000 miles!!! Only made 6 payments. Transmission problem! Never pulled a trailer. Dealership said 2 months to repair, and offered no rental or loaner car for my family. I offered to just trade. Dealer was more interested in making more money off me than doing what is ethical to retain a life long Ford customer. Even when they were asked by Ford customer help center to help, they refused. I had to WALK to catch a ride from the dealership.I have purchased 3 new Fords in 6 years. All covered by Ford warranty.Never been treated worse by Ford.

Worst dealership we have ever dealt with. We were in a terrible situation due to a computer issue with my husbands truck and the lack of resources to fix the vehicle. The service department was unhelpful in relaying information and flat out rude. After being forced to sell the truck back to Ford or wait another 3-6 months to hope for a part to come in, the salesman was also rude, sarcastic, and in proficient in filing paperwork properly to pay the vehicle off. If I could give negative stars I would. Every ounce of dealing with everyone at this dealership was pure awful. They should scratch the entire staff and start over with competent, friendly people who actually want to do their jobs.Edit: Thanks for your reply...In response to your reply, I tried calling Bob Guiseppe and was told that he doesnt work at the dealership. Who is even responding to your google reviews? We own small businesses and our google reviews go directly to our emails. This is absurd.

This has been the best car buying experience I have ever had. I cant say enough good things about my Salesman, Daveyon (DQ). We purchased a used F-250 and had a couple of things that needed to be addressed after signing the paperwork, and he has been such a great advocate for us. He has worked with the Service Department as well as the Loaner Department to make sure our concerns were addressed promptly and secured us a loaner truck while Service was taking care of the issues. He is a great asset to Landers and I want him to receive the recognition he deserves! Thank you!

Landers Ford Collierville did a great job getting me in and out within an hour and a half. Noel Driver assisted me with no hassle pricing during the day while I was at work. I was able to get off work and pick up the car after signing the paperwork. Very friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle. I did not feel the normal pressure/tension as a normally do at other dealerships.

I don’t know about the sales team, but I would not recommend the service dept. I dropped it off, requesting a brake inspection and an oil change. They had my truck 3 days and never even looked at the brakes. I had to call to get updates instead of the other way around and even on the 3rd day I couldn’t get an estimate for when they would inspect the issue. If you’re like me, you have a vehicle because you drive it to go places. Most mechanics would have completed inspections and repairs in the same day, at most 2. Either way, I would expect calls or texts to update me on progress. I don’t know if management is aware of these issues, but someone needs to reevaluate their customer service strategies.

Got to Landers Quick Lube and had the works and replaced my wipers. Very disappointed that at every other visit they offered coffee and donuts. Nothing was offered this time. Waited an hour at 6:30 am until 8:00 am with no coffee. Wasn’t even offered a way to buy any. After getting in my truck noticed the steering wheel was not aligned any longer. Also went to parts department to order an update for my maps. After I got home I was called and told that more information was needed to order maps. I did not have my truck at that point so I will have to go back by the dealer to reorder navigation update.

I took my car in and after a week I got a call back saying that they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and the car was fine. 10 minutes after leaving the place my car does the same thing that it was doing which was why I took it in. I was told they test drove it multiple times and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Had to pay for my car to get towed back to the place. Another week went by and I had no update on it. It took them over 2 weeks to get my car checked. I don’t understand why they put me at the back of the line again if I had just left their place 10 minutes prior and nothing was fixed. Don’t recommend this place at all. I called multiple times for updates and would just get transferred to service and nobody would answer. The only time someone did answer they were clueless.

Mr Boyd called me a number of times asking for more documentation, but I didn’t mind because our situation was a complex one but he got it done.

The dealership process was quick and painless. Calvin is a great salesman, and his communication is constant and he is very accommodating. Jason was very helpful and patient, and explained things when the lender tried being difficult and demanding. I will definitely buy every vehicle for the rest of my life of owning vehicles provided these two, or employees like them are there.

On my 2015 F150 xlt, at 35000 miles Ford technicians recommended changing all lug nuts (24) at $8.50 each totalling $204.00. I wonder if any other manufacturers recommend lug nut change at 35k. Looks like Ford dealer is making money!!

13 weeks in and still no call-back on my 2020 Explorer Transmission Oil Cooler “recall”. I’ve made multiple visits (@35 minutes each way) to the dealership including a meeting with the Service Manager with no results. In fact, in meeting with the Service Manager, he set an appointment to get the part replaced (around two months ago). Assuming his word and that they dedicated the recall part to my vehicle, I dropped the car off and got a call about an hour later that they didn’t have the part. Service department is absolutely horrible here. I will not be back. Driving to Millington now to get both of my vehicles serviced.

Contacted dealer before this review, no response in 5 days.Dropped truck off for oil n lube and DEF top off. Got truck back and DEF said 1/2 tank. Told service rep and he had a mechanic with him. This mechanic should never speak to customers again. Very rude and dismissive. Said this was a normal issue and just drive the truck and it will fix itself. WTH!! I said I wanted it fixed. When I got truck back DEF WAS ALL OVER MY TRUCK & RUNNING BOARDS. But manically tank showed full. To management this on their own website and still no response. Epic customer service fail! This dealer is normally great for me...

I scheduled an appointment through the Ford app two weeks in advance to get my 20,000 mile service and a recall completed on a Saturday afternoon. I entered all my information in and described what I needed to get done but when I arrived for my appointment I was told the service department didn’t handle what I needed to get done and that they couldn’t handle my recall except for Monday through Friday. (This is definitely something they should have mentioned or notified me about when I booked the appointment and not when I showed up) Afterwards they mentioned I try the quick lane. I went to the quick lane in which I was told they couldn’t honor my appointment I had made and that they had 15 people in front of me and didn’t think they could get to my car that day and suggested I come back during the week. I work Monday through Friday which is why I scheduled the appointment for Saturday in the first place. I don’t think the matter was appropriately handled and wasn’t very professional. If someone takes the time to schedule an appointment and write down everything they need to get done weeks in advance it should be honored.

Landers Ford in Collierville has the absolute worst service. Ive gotten the runaround on an issue for my truck now 4 times. I can not get any communication from them other than actually going to the physical dealership. They continue to put a band-aid on an issue and refuse to fix it, and they cannot locate my extended warranty that I purchased one year ago and have receipts. The service department is poor, the Quick Lane is awful, does not honor appointments and they are severely understaffed.

I also had the parts department fella replace the battery in my key fob and purchased a navigation sim card update. Ron who checked my car in was helpful and pleasant as always. I have to give acknowledgment to Alan Dahabieh at Landers Ford Collierville.This gentleman took absolute care of me during my visit at the dealership this morning. I was under the impression that I would have to go in for an inspection this morning to ‘see’ if I needed proper service and then become scheduled in another day for that service.However, Alan inspected and fixed my vehicle’s major issue within an hour which took care of every small issue in itself. Without cost at that. I’ve only had my new vehicle for almost a year now and it rides just as smooth as it did when I first purchased my car.To top it all off? He said there’s nothing else he could find wrong with my vehicle. She’s in perfect shape! Thank you again, Alan!Oh, and thank you to the gentlemen coming to my rescue on 4 different occasions to get my car unstuck from their lot! 💪🏼

Dealership is very unprofessional. Liked and negotiated a deal for a family member. The car was slightly over priced and when asked to split the difference (roughly $450) they quickly become upset and through a fit over it by showing they were angry. (Aggressively moving the chair, hitting keyboard keys) An audience of employees outside listening to the 5 minute negotiations and shaking their heads over it. NADA was lower by $1600 and found one online for $300 less then their asking price. Simply just looking to be fair price (not the best). The next day, an entire dealership of people are lazing around yet claiming they are very busy. Hours and hours pass after saying the car will be ready in an hour that morning. All day event to purchase a car? This is 2020 and you can have a car delivered to your house with a click of a button, and for less money. After the finance guy was ready, they had added $1000 to the vehicle price (not total price) and tried to rush through it so he wouldn’t notice. Once I said the number was wrong, they argued for a second, followed by “we accidentally put the wrong number in”. The only reason we bought this car is because it is for an old man that needed a car this week to have access to a vehicle in case of an emergency for his wife. If it were me, I would never buy from an incompetent group of people that are selling an overpriced car and attempting to scam the customer. Can’t believe they would take advantage of an old man. Pathetic place. I recommend another location.

Poor experience. Had to return truck after discovering requested work was not completed. Oil/Filter, Tire rotation/balance, navigation update. I discovered the tires were not done, navigation update N1 17 to N 1 19 was not done. I was charged and paid for all services. Just hoping oil change was really done.Could not get a return call from Service Advisor despite leaving 2 voice mails. Service Mgr call went to voicemail as well. Finally had to drive back to Dealership to get explanation.Explanation: Tech overlooked the tire rotation/balance. N 1 19 is not available from Ford so upgrade only goes to N 1 17.Despite being a comeback, truck not ready until 2:00pm next day and I had to place 2 calls to find out when it was ready. No windshield sticker showing next oil change mileage.Generally, poor service, poor communication and poor attention to detail. Unlikely to return to this dealership.

My wife and I were travelling through Tennessee and experienced a problem with our Ford F-150. We called Landers and asked if there was something they could do to help us continue on our travels. We were two hours away when we called and when we showed up they already had a ticket ready and waiting. This is a great service and completely eliminates having to go to the dealership. Ford Motor had for two years been requesting to change the airbags out in our 2012 Mustang GT show car. I was amazed how easy it was with their new service vehicle right in my driveway. Did not even have to move the vehicle out of garage. They only started it after the work was completed to check the warning lights for the airbags. There were none! This is one great service!! Being a Ford buyer for over 45 years I would tell you..... try it you will like it!!

I am a pretty forgiving person and it takes a lot for me to take the time to write a review but I have had enough. I have even tried calling and emailing the service manager but even that was ignored. Plan and simple, the service center is really bad... no other way to put it. Once you drop your car off good luck getting someone on the phone again. I have called multiple times this week and 4 times today. Nobody answers their phones, voicemails are all full and if you do get lucky with an answer they will immediately place you on hold till you hang up (the last one was 15 mins on hold) or they will promise a call back, which they never will (I heard this promise 5 times this week and 3 times just today). Just this past week, I have called no less than 15 times and only got help once. Its really bad and Im unsure how they stay in business.

Start to finish, did not do a good job with our vehicles service. Communication was very poor. I never received any updates throughout the entire process. I always had to reach out to find out what was going on.During routine oil change, it was discovered that the struts were leaking oil, and would need to be replaced. Rather than take it to the main repair garage (which is less than 100 yards away in the same parking lot), I had to make a whole new appointment for a different day to bring it back to have that repaired, because the computer systems for the two different repair garages cannot communicate with one another.Made an appointment, and told them EXACTLY what the problem was, as had been diagnosed by their own mechanics. Dropped off my car at 8:00a the day of my appointment, and the car was not ready by 5:00p, because they did not have the part in stock. Why was I allowed to make an appointment to have my struts fixed, if they did not have any in stock??Made another appointment to have repair done, and dropped vehicle off at 8:00a. No updates throughout the whole day, and I show up at 5:00...vehicle still not ready. I cannot get my vehicle, because it is still up on the lift. I explain that I need to pick up my children from daycare before 6, so I am offered a loaner vehicle, which is a two-door truck that can only fit 1/2 car seats, so my wife had to leave her shift early to go get the other girl from her school.FINALLY get the vehicle back the next day, and less than a week later, something is rattling under the front of the car. It is still under warranty, so it would be silly to take it anywhere else to get this new repair done, but I have very little faith in them being able to do it correctly or efficiently, at this point.

Took spouses car 2015 Ford Fusion in for a repeat Gas vapor noise in the nozzle of the tank. Should have been a freebie for me, a repeat item that fails in 2 years.Enough said, Fell under warranty, But I hand to pay a co-pay, that should have been waved.

Wow!! Where to begin?!?!First of all, this review is really just for the service department. I run a company that uses Ford Transit as our company vehicles and we recently took one of them to this dealership with transmission trouble. One week passed by and we had heard nothing. We called and had to leave a message but after another couple of days of not hearing back from anyone, we had to physically drive over and see someone to get any type of communication. After talking with the service Manager, Jonathan, he told us we should hear something about it either Monday or Tuesday of this week. Wednesday rolls around and we STILL have not heard anything. Keep in mind this is closing in on 2 weeks without one of our vehicles we use to run a business. So we have to physically go back up there because we have still not received a phone call back and they say it should be done that evening or Thursday at the latest. Thursday comes around and still no phone call. We call up there and of course no answer. So we go up there to see if it is ready like they HAD NOT EVEN BROKEN THE TRANSMISSION DOWN OR COMMUNICATED WITH FORD ON WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!! So then they changed their story and said it would be no earlier than next Friday. They had already taken the transmission out or I would have driven off their lot right then and there!!!!This is the poorest service I have ever received anywhere. I will NEVER use this dealership for service or purchase a vehicle from this dealership EVER again!!!

We have bought and had our vehicles serviced here for past few years. My Ford Explorer broke down I called AAA and had car towed there. I called three ahead of time including right before car arrived to let them know and give them information. The next three days never heard from called 6-7 times no reply to any voice mails. I was put in touch with Service Manager he said they had no paperwork on it being dropped off and said he would go look for it when rained stopped and call us back. Two days later no response. I spoke to AAA and towing company to verify it was taken to right location which it was. He gave keys to service tech. I will never do business with them again. We will like others in reviews drive there tomorrow to look for my vehicle since they aren’t responding to calls. I’m tempted to call police and report my SUV as stolen let them deal with dealership.

The buying experience at Landers Ford was pleasant and efficient. All staff were friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely trade there again if the opportunity arose.
