Out of a horrible evacuation from Hurricane Ida bringing my car to Sam’s was one of the best things that could have happened. He helped us so much with my car and his main concern was to make sure we got home safe. One of the nicest people I ever met and he really goes out his way to help you. Awesome place of business !

I love this place. Anything we need, we call Sam! He has great prices and tons of technical knowledge that has kept our cars going for years! He’s very easy to work with and turn around time is quick. I definitely recommend him.

We evacuated for Hurricane Ida -my daughters car broke down on interstate heading to our Airbnb- she found this mechanic with great ratings and bought car to him--He was wonderful! Her motor was blown and we could not stay to fix it because we had to get back to NOLA and he didnt even charge her!!!-he went thru Katrina and all he cared about was that we got home safe-he went above and beyond and took an absolutely horrible situation and made it so much better-

I dont know why I keep calling this place, but I was desperate. My boyfriend called he quoted him a price $20 cheaper than what he quoted me. This guy is a rip off!

I had the most pleasant experience with the senior auto mechanic today at Auto Tech Shop. My car was slow in starting and a local auto parts store checked out the battery and alternator. Both checked out fine however the parts tech said I need a new starter. Ishmael, the mechanic quickly found the problem and saved me several hundred dollars. The connection to the starter had corrosion and a loose wire which was responsible for the slow starting of the engine. A huge thanks to the honesty and integrity of Ishmael, the mechanic on duty at Auto Tech! I will go there again for future auto repair needs!

They do not take a long time at all they get the job done

I needed help with the brakes on my car, and he said its $200 to bleed brakes. Thats crazy.

He’s A Scam! He don’t have any idea what he’s doing ! He’s rude and don’t have respect for the customers! He didn’t put all my lugs back on my vehicle and he didn’t even tighten. Trust me and don’t take your vehicles up there because it’ll come out worse than when it went it !!!! He’ll give you one price and change it before he is finished. And his help is scared of him and will lie for him... overall Customer Service Is Bad and recommend this stop to no one

Auto Tech is great! I suggest that everyone try this shop. I would not take my car anywhere besides Auto Tech. Sam is the owner. He is very talented, honest and a good man. Best service Ive recieved!!! I went to firestone to get a full service check and they told me I would need $2000 dollars Sam did everything I needed for under $500! Very honest and helpful. I called about an issue that I was having; and instead of bringing me in and taking my money they gave me honest feedback that saved me time and money. I called all around the city and couldnt get an honest answer anywhere else.

Long story short, car went in broke, came out more broke.Took my car in for a stuck throttle. Engine was operating normally, but the gas pedal would not depress. Probably in need of a throttle body cleaning. Dropped it off to take a look and I got a call

Its a scam, he doesnt know what hes doing. Took my wifes suv in because it was running rough. He took the spark plug wires, spark plugs, and distributor cap off i had put on, and installed more expensive ones. Changed fuel filter. Did nothing. Then it was the catalytic converter. Then it was bad gas. Then it was the gas tank was bad. A simple tune up basically cost me 700 dollars and didnt fix it. Took it to christian brothers, and found out a mouse had eaten through a wire. Problem fixed.

It was a big rip off

DO NOT get your car fixed here, especially if youre a woman. Again i say Do Not!!! To make a long story short the owner Sam is a liar and a snake. I took my car in to simply replace a radiator and he told me he would charge me $600 because it was leaking really bad and he made a really big deal like it was a lot of work to do and i wouldnt be able to drive so he strongly recommended that I leave my car @ the shop, so i did leave ot there that morning. This was on a Mon so i told him i dont get paid til Thurs so he could start working on it Wed and ill come get it Thurs morning and he agreed. So later that day i decided to call my brother and tell him about the car and what i was being charged and he immediately went No no no thats extremely to much money so i call another shop and they say that the max i should pay is about $275 so i was floored. I called Sam back and tell him hes charging to much & im just gone take my car somewhere else & informs me that no, he is already working on my car which h6e wasnt suppose to be until Wed! So it all boiled down to he didnt let me get my car so he told me to call the police were called & i ended up having to pay him $240 for the work he started doing on it but my car still had to sit at the shop fopir 3days because i didnt have the money. So I got my car back & it was riding relly bad with a real bad leak so now i have to pay another shop some more money to fix what i believe he caused. So like i said DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY @ this shop because Ive been through hell & back dealing with this. Terrible Experience!!!!
