Went there Thursday 10/28 for a brisket sandwich. Ended up saving it for Friday. Omg still freaking awesome reheated it was so good!Would go again! Staff were patient with me as I got really shy and quiet at the counter and register.

The food was good, mac n cheese was bomb. And the green beans !!!3 stars for cleanliness, appearance stays a lot. I don’t want a mop bucket by my food.

I usually go to this place quiet often but will not be back soon! I walked in for some lunch and I ordered my food, quick service didn’t wait too long, then after my quesadilla was prepared walk up to the counter to pay told him this was it and he asked me for my ID. I gave it too him no questions asked but to be a frequent customer that buys food, gas, and propane from this store I find it odd to be asked that especially without ANY alcoholic beverages!

Amazing BBQ chicken! We love getting their half chicken, either by itself or the plate. You really do not need sauce. Good flavor and very moist. Pretty good breakfast tacos and ranchero beans too! Looking forward to trying other things on the menu. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

In my experience of my visit, I felt like the employee who checked me out didnt want me there. It seemed like everything I was doing was wrong in the eyes of the employee. I Will say he was respectful and cordial the entire time. I just feel the employee was more focused on the negative portion of my less than 5 minute visit.

Firewood is good. Little pricey but ok.

I did not go to Halls Wine and Spirits for alcohol. I went because I heard their barbecue was good. I got sandwiches for myself and my family and they were absolutely excellent. Its hard to find barbecue that is actually cooked on a pit. There are no shortcuts with this place the meat is absolutely superb.

Dishonest owner. Great beer selection. Only sells store picks on weekends.I came in as a first time customer based off a recommendation that they have good store picks (especially Buffalo Trace and Russell’s Reserve). The person who told me said he thinks they only sell Buffalo Trace on weekends. It’s a Thursday and I’m buying over $200 of beer and liquor and tell the employee I heard they have a Buffalo Trace store pick and wanted to see if they have any because I couldn’t find it on the shelf. Employee comes back looking obviously uncomfortable (about lying) and tells me they don’t have it.My sister shows up 2 days later and it’s magically there. The same number of cases that I was told was there last week. My sister said there was a girl there that immediately piped up and said they didn’t have it, but the gentleman next to her politely walked her over to where it was.Dear owner,Why would you hire staff and instruct them to tell consumers that your stuff is unavailable for purchase?

This is my go to spirits store. It also doubles as a BBQ restaurant.I will review the BBQ first. The BBQ is decent. There are plenty of other good BBQ restaurants in the Grapevine area but this place is slightly cheaper. Also, the food is not as good as other places. The service is quick.The spirits selection is very good. This place frequently has free tastings. They also have specials on spirits that you have never heard of before. The price is always slightly cheaper than average.

Just have the BBQ sandwich and forget about the service. This is the Dicks of the convenience store and deli business.Thank me later. Make sure to get extra BBQ sauce.BEST damn sandwich in the BBQ business.

Showed up at Halls great Grocery at 8 :48 pm last night We usually buy our alcohol at Total Wine In an attempt to help out Mom & Pop. We were yelled at and told to leave because I didn’t have a mask on and would not sell me anything what a disgrace. There was not another person in the store!!!!This is Texas! Have a set of balls!!!

We came just for the BBQ as it was recommended by a friend. We ordered BBQ sandwiches which were really good. Great sauce and meat is tender. No place to sit though. Takeout only.

Very helpful! We were asked several times if we needed help finding anything and when I did ask, they helped us find what we were looking for and answered several questions. Only complaint is they need better signage.

Severely lacking in customer service. As a shopper, I enjoy grazing the selection of beer. I typically spend $50-$100 per transaction. After several visits, I’ve yet to be greeted in a friendly manner at any time. An older man (possibly the owner) is especially uninviting. The selection is decent. I will avoid because they don’t seem to make customers feel welcome or valued.

Two stars for a great selection of beer, wine, and liquors. I go here when I absolutely have to because its close to my house, but if I have time I try to avoid it. The parking lot is very difficult to navigate, and the aisles are very narrow so you bump into people as you pass. Cashiers will stop the transaction if you are holding a cell phone, even if you have the person on the phone on hold, and are not talking and looking right at the cashier and getting ready to make payment. The cashier will wait until you set the phone down on the counter top and then will start ringing you up again. Seems a little nit-picky - I would think as long as the customer in line is moving fast and paying attention to the cashier there would be no reason for the cashier to purposely slow down the line.

This place has a great selection of beers, from local craft to import craft. When I lived closer, I would come here to get some domestic craft brewery beer. It also has a nice liquor selection as well.

Rude and disrespectful. Will not be returning or ever recommending.

10/10 CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!I had to make a stop this morning at my nearest exit because I was having car trouble. I just so happened to stop at the right place! The owner of the Valero and Wine shop was amazing! He managed to get my car back running mind you its 29 degrees outside!! God bless him, his family and their business.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We have been going here periodically for years and have had several bad experiences. Wanting to give the benefit of the doubt and possibly a bad day, we have tried going back. NO More! Everyone here must have miserable lives because they are all RUDE! Bob the old man manager is completely rude and belittling. Im sure the owner carries the same mentalities and empowers this attitude. We will NOT shop here ever again.Sure some may continue to go here simply because they have alcohol. However, i will go out of my way to avoid this place and deal with fair honest people elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. I always get a bad vibe when visiting this place. Just visited it a few moments ago and made a promise that it will be my last time. I will just drive a few more miles away to Goody Goody for a larger selection and hopefully better service. I advise anyone whom is looking for that at well to keep on driving.

Five years ago, I was a big fan of this place because the staff was knowledgable and they had a great selection of beer and whiskey.Cut to today. I was picking up supplies for a fossil hunt with some friends and just got lunch. I pull in to unload my trash and maybe look around at the selection since they moved into the bigger location. Soon as I finish unloading, a short Indian-looking man comes out in the Halls uniform. I would guess hes the general manager.He immediately asks if I was going to buy anything Put off by his tone, I said No and that I was just finishing emptying my trash.He immediately told me to leave, that I couldnt unload my trash AT A PUBLIC SERVICE STATION if I didnt get anything.I have never encountered a gas station that polices their trash bins. Awful management, and I have no idea if their selection is any good anymore. What a sad waste and decline of a Midcities landmark.Until they get new management, DO NOT COME HERE!

I never write reviews. I just thought I needed to after seeing a few of the comments. I have been going to this place since it opened (roughly 10 years ago?). I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Sure, sometimes it’s busy and the staff is very “to the point,” but never rude, condescending or belittling in any way. Sometimes I wonder what the personalities are of the people writing these “horrific experience” type of reviews?!? Just my 2 cents.

2nd time stopping by today not for the liquor(I dont drink) but for the food! I try the brisket sandwich with spicy bbq this time, Let me tell you it is one of the best brisket I have ate. 1st time it was a pull pork and it was also a delite. I would definitely make a stop here when in the area.

Had a horrible experience there tonight. The old white haired man behind the counter had a horrible attitude! He treated me and my friend like criminals when he saw that my paper ID was expired. Its bad enough that I have to deal with losing my ID without him being a total ass! This is my local liquor store, I come in regularly and hes normally pretty nice. Hes even had that same paper ID in his hand before! I understand he has to do his job but to act the way he acted is childish: throwing his hands in the air, raising his voice- it was embarrassing! We were just trying to have a good time but instead we felt accosted. I feel bad about his co-workers who he was just yelling at before we stepped up to his register.If I was the business owner I would address this attitude problem immediately!

Talk about a Fully Loaded Beverage Depot that is NOT part of a Nation Wide Chain but delivers exactly what you are looking for at VERY competitive prices. More beer than I have ever seen offered, wine so you can select from around the world. These guys have it all.

While they have a great spirits collection, minus a few really good ones, they have an exceptional craft beer collection. They are really good about getting almost all of the rare beers that come to DFW.

Nice little liquor store. Theres the general variety of spirits such as vodka, gin, whiskey, bourbon, tequila, along with mixers such as the margarita mix. The price can range anywhere from $15 - $100 per bottle depending on what youre purchasing. There is a large selection of craft beers. Upon request, you can purchase firewood. Theres a little BBQ store in the back which has pretty good food. The parking lot can be difficult to navigate during peak hours, so I suggest parking at the Tom Thumb which is pretty much next door. The staff can be iffy, on some occasions theyre friendly and other times they seem either distracted, busy, or impatient. If paying with a credit/debit card, be sure the name matches your ID exactly.Over all, its a nice liquor store to replenish the basics, the price is probably average. Its worth a stop with the understanding that the staff can be a bit rude at times.

Dude. I just have to speak out about how I was treated by a so-called owner here recently. I will spare most of the embarrassing details of the confrontation I had with this... Man. I have been here a few times before and I have always been treated very well. The staff has always been very respectful and polite and very courteous. I have not been to this location in about 2 years and I came (to be completely honest) with only a few minutes to spare before 9 p.m. probably 5 or 6mins. Well, needless to say when I arrived, the staff had already closed and were lockin up. Which is totally fine. I understand that completely. Even tho I knew exactly what I wanted... So I then started to turn around to my car when I heard a door open. I look back and thats when I came into contact with this obviously drunk & disturbed man. He HAD TO OF BEEN DRUNK or possibly having one of the worst days ever. I have never been treated the way that person treated me. He was EXTREMELY confrontational. Mind you, I am a smaller woman, alone in a dark parking lot. To go ahead and wrap this up, so I kept on asking if he was drunk and what his issue was and that he need to pls stop talking to me like that. And tried to deescalate the situation . It just enraged him further unfortunately. Sadly, I can say my last visit here was one Ill never forget and was very upsetting. If the owner is by chance reading this, I forgive you. Sign underneath beer (Rumkin)bottles said 1.49. I put 7 on the counter and it rang up 98.00. One of the owners came down and explained it was a mistake. I asked if he could sell a couple at that price and he said no. Then i grabbed a Stone (Espresso Russian Stout) for 4.59 22oz., rang up as 8 something. She checked it, changed sign but, sold it to me for 4.59 All the stockers must be drunk. Beware of price changes at the counter.

If you bring a debit or credit card the name must match exactly to your identification card or they wont sell you anything. This is an annoyance since I have been going here for years. They are one of the only stores near Bedford but recently just been going to liquor store on trinity blvd.

Yeah they just lost my business today too. Grey haired old man chasing me outside. Im deaf so I had no idea what they were doing or saying. Its been multiple times Ive seen that same man doing something bad towards people who just want to shop in the store. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I dont know him personally, but the older gentlemen who seems to either manage or run the establishment, is pretty rude, particularly to other customers. Once people realize theres other alternatives at better prices, with much better service, its likely that the only reason to go here will be convenience. The thing that I dont like about this store is that they had/ have a no hoodie sign on the front door. Thats kind of a turn off to me, as a consumer. If youre concerned about safety you need to put up a sign that says no hoodies / masks / sunglasses for the safety of customers and employees sign, not something you just decided to print and put out for whatever reason. Im glad theres a Specs opening in Euless, and also other alternatives in Fort Worth nearby (Off 360 & Trinity). Never shopping here again, and told the owner / manager, but he couldnt care less. Take your business elsewhere.

Rude. I was googling a cocktail recipe I was unfamiliar with and they followed me around suspiciously the whole time, and kept remarking about me. Didnt smile, acted like they were so irritated. Just because I didnt walk straight in and out. Really felt like they didnt even want my business or cared if they had it. Cant wait till the new wine/liqour place in Glade Parks opens down the street.

I just used the Gas Guro application to find the cheapest Premium Gasoline, and this was the location, and I was leaving I left ALOT of change for all of you to have equall change so that no one had yo break 5,10, or 20 bills.... I left about 2 dollars worth of change, and then I returnee back to ask her something and ALL the change I put seconds ago GONE..... Dude this clerk actually POCKETED all of the change I left for all of you to have, and use....SUPER GREEDY to steal and take whats given for the people, it woukd be like stealing money from a donation jar, wether its 1 cent or 100$, its WRONG and you dont DO THAT, super mad about this, I honestly dont recommend coming here because of this one nasty employee becauase you will end up breaking your 20$ lol because theres no change left because she probably keeps taking it, sorry for making this post but this event had to be known, love you all💚💜
