Their selection is amazing. My husband smokes more than I do but every cigar we have got from here has been great. For my husbands birthday I bought him a 30 cigar Mr. Roger suggested to him and he absolutely loved it. It was every thing Mr. Roger said it was. Means I will be spending more money here lol. Mr. Colton and Mr. Roger are very knowledgeable on cigars, always friendly and willing to help. If you want a great cigar shop with an amazing relaxing vibe, also with people who are knowledgeable on cigars then Cavaliers is the place for you. You wont be disappointed. Nice variety of products available, core brands like Padron, Arturo Fuente, Liga Privada, Rocky Patel and a few boutique brands mixed in.If you are looking for a premium cigar this is the place to go.

My husband is a big bourbon & cigar guy and I know he frequents this cigar shop often. I decided to stop in as I was having a hard time thinking of a perfect Christmas gift. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. The shop is well stocked with all kinds of items that cigar lovers would enjoy as gifts. They had a good variety and took their time explaining the items. I left with several gifts, even had one of the gifts engraved for a personal touch right there on the spot! Great place to shop not only for cigars, but gifts as well. Already have an idea for his upcoming birthday.

On my visit I had a lot of questions about humidor capacity, humidifiers, gel packs, silicon beads and lighters. Not once did he ever rush me or seem put out. He in fact had some great ideas about upgrading my existing humidifier. I have smoked the same cigars for many years so I had no questions about that. The big surprise was when I got home and later poured a glass of whiskey and pulled out one of his cigars at the fire pit. I immediately recognized the feel of a well conditioned cigar. It turned out to be one of the best conditioned cigars that I have waked out of a store with in a very long time. It’s not often I smoke a cigar straight out of the store and have this experience. I happened into Cavalier Cigar Shop and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Unlike some earlier reviews that indicated ineptness, rude help, and poor selection,I found the folks to be extremely courteous. I also found an amazing selection of quality cigars packed into a modest sized humidor.I give this place 5 stars and will definitely visit the next time I am in the College Station area.

Best place for a cigar, by far! If youre in town for a game, or live here and want to grab a stick, the selection is solid. Members lounge has plenty of seating and the shop is byob. Cant beat it!

A great cigar lounge, that reminds me of a dive bar, but one where the flyer says the house band is The Rolling Stones. I saw this shop from the road in an older, but well kept strip mall and thought w a name like Cavalier it must be a old high end dusty pipe store (probably nary a cigar in sight). Boy, was I wrong! Notably, upon entering yes, the building is old...more dated. But, what lovely bones it had and it just spoke to me saying men gather here to smoke cigars. Be warned, its a small space, with the walkin-in humidor taking up the bulk (half) of the area, so theres a slice of space where 7 comfortable old leather chairs make up a public lounge area. Speaking of which, I noticed a open door towards the back and could see what resembled a sizable VFW hall, that I was informed was the members lounge (meaning private). So, I had to readjust my senses and realized the whole place was just three large rooms. When, I arrive two young looking grad school aged guys were finishing up a smoke. This is the original location, theres another lounge thats a more modern & refined highend cigar lounge called The Hideaway Cigar (which I also did a review on). Both establishments are owned by Colton Rawls. When, I studied my surroundings a little more I realized it the place had the charm of a small record store circa pre-1990s or a dive bar.The cigar selection was phenomenal: premium & ultra premium brand lined a large square-shaped room up from ankle to near the ceiling. The customer service great and this type of atmosphere was more my speed compared to The Humidor Cigar lounge. I bought two sticks and felt as a Longhorn alum in Aggieland that visiting, seeing the quality cigars and then making a purchase of any kind in Aggieland would never happen. Never say never, I guess. But, what better way to bring Aggies & Longhorns together but by lighting up a fine cigar and putting some smoke in the air. Hook em!

Nice large humidor with lots to choose from. From mild beginner cigars to bold flavorful sticks. Great service an a nice selection of accessories. This is my go to spot.

This shop is the best BCS has to offer. Owner and staff allow you to look before they come and ask you if you need any help. Best cigar selection within 50 miles. If you need a good smoke then dont bother going anywhere else.

Good customer service.

The person running the shop was very pretentious, didn’t acknowledge me when I walked in and didn’t look up from what he was reading to answer a question I had about CBD cigars. Granted this might be an unwelcome question but as someone who is very interested and spends a great deal on CBD but a complete novice to cigars, this was an off putting experience that lacked any motivation to help a new client understand more about their product. Poor customer service

I have been to many cigar shops in my lifetime but I have to say that this was the worst experience I ever encountered. The owner is more worried about me stealing something versus greeting me and asking how can they help me. I ended up buying one cigar. I am so happy that there is a liquor store that has a wide variety of cigars with a friendly staff.

Came to Aggieland to pickup my Aggie and decided to drop by with my brother in law to pickup some cigars since we were staying overnight before heading back to MS. I am no cigar novice, having smoked daily for many years. I purchased a Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 yr. One of my favorite cigars over the years. Got to the hotel and went down by the pool to enjoy the cigar after traveling 9 hours.It was the worst cigar I have ever had. It would not draw or stay lighted. I used a whole package of wooden matched I had to purchase at the shop (something I had never had to do since they were usually gratis at most shops) to try to keep it going. After an hour, I gave up. Dont know if it was over humidified or what, but I gave up on one of my favorite cigars, of which I have probably smoked over 50 in last ten years.Low stock and not particularly welcoming.Disappointed.

Been a member since 2014. Ive been to cigar shops all over the US. Hands down one of my favorite cigar shops. They have a great product selection, plus the owner constantly updates his staff with product knowledge. Do yourself a favor, get a good smoke from Cavalier!!!!

They were more focused on making sure I didnt steal from them than actually selling me a cigar, after the headache of sorting through their poorly laid out selection I found that their staff was fixated on me and when I asked if they had any recommendations they could only recommend what had to be the worst cigar Ive ever had.

Well, what can I say? This is just the kind of place where you can spend hours, enjoying the luring scent of fine tobacco. Bring your own alcohol, sit outdoors, or pay the low yearly fee to access a more private setting in the back of the shop. I am going back soon!

The only place I would suggest to go for premier selection of cigars. Colton and Roger are super friendly, and always have great suggestions and input into a good choice of a cigar. And, we love hanging out and enjoying one there onsite.

The owner is great and knows his stuff. He saw a flaw I was doing and helped me out. Staff is very nice and very helpful. I can stay at this place for hours and smoke a good cigar.

This is a very nice place to smoke a cigar, lots of TVs, comfortable couches, and a great selection of cigars, with very reasonable prices. They have a ton of AB stuff which is pretty much my favorite brand right now. The staff was very friendly. The owner was pleasant to talk to. I had a great time. It is going to be my football watching go to for the rest of the season. This is a locally owned business with a good staff, good prices, and a great environment to smoke a cigar and relax. I will be back for sure. (Didnt have any ice though.....bummer)I am not sure why people are complaining about the prices. They seemed very reasonable to me.

I always enjoy the solo didgeridoo and river dance show from Colton. Always brings a tear to my eye.

This place is under new ownership since most of these reviews. I went a year ago and there were 4 boxes in the humidor. Last week it was almost full. Prices are good for the selection you are offered. You will find lower priced sticks in Houston stores and online, but come on, were talking about bcs. Ill go back often now.

Conveniently located in South College Station, this shop has a reasonably-sized humidor with a good range of selections. The employees are friendly and helpful, and parking usually isnt a problem.

Colton is the man. Comfy lounge. No membership fee. Stay and smoke. Excellent ventilation.

They have a fairly wide selection of cigars and the shop is absolutely beautiful. They have a very nice sitting room in the back but its members only unfortunately. They really stand behind the products they sell and you wont find better customer service.

The best tobacco store Ive come across in the College Station area so far. This is truly a cigar and pipe tobacco shop, and not a head-shop. While I feel like their primary focus is cigars, their pipe tobacco selection seems to have grown in the last year or so. The people working there dont seem as knowledgeable or into pipes as tobacco stores Ive been to in other cities, but are willing to help you out. As far as their pipe tobaccos go, they have roughly 10 bulk jars, and then tins from mainly Dunhill and McClelland I believe. Not a large selection of tobacco pipes and accessories, but they do have some.They have a large walk-in humidor with what seems like a decent selection, based on my very limited knowledge about cigars. They also have a membership that gives you discounts and access to their back smoking lounge.Overall, this is my go-to place in the Bryan-College Station area for pipe tobacco and cigars.

I used to be a regular, but Ive permanently given up on this store after going in several times and they werent open or didnt have the product I was looking for. Cons:-Their shelves are never stocked. Empty boxes are the majority of whats on the shelves.-Theyre never open on time. Seriously: call before you go so you dont waste gas.-Their prices are substantially higher than the competition ($7/stick for stuff the liquor store sells for $4.50)-Even if they stocked up they dont carry many of the main staples in the business (not even Arturo Fuentes...)Pros:-VERY friendly staff-Nice looking store
