Told me that they could not patch my tire after having my car for 6 hours..... wanted me to buy a new one. We use Discount tire and they were closed for the holiday weekend I was visiting from out of town I waited until Tuesday and took it to the place that we bought our tires (DS) and they patched it and sent me on my way and it is just fine. Never would I recommend this place. Always go with a place you can trust (DS), just look at all these reviews!
My daughter took her car in for an alignment in May after we had new tires put on. We have used Firestone in several states across the country as we are a military family and purchase the lifetime alignments on our vehicles. We have always trusted Firestone and send our kids there as we usually live in a different state with them in college in Texas. She took it in today (8/18) to get it checked again only to find out they cant align her car because they dont have the technology yet to reprogram her lane sensors. So how was it done in May? Why wasnt she informed of this when she scheduled the appointment? You have her car info in the system. I called, and per the manager David, it wasnt. All she brought it in for in May was the alignment, so she sat there waiting for her car and nothing was even being done to it?! Makes me wonder what work was actually being done to any vehicles at this location. Manager stated he reviewed her paperwork and that employee no longer works at this location. If youve had an alignment on a car with lane sensors in the past at this location, seriously consider having it redone elsewhere, as it couldnt have been done. Consumer beware!
Went to get my tire sealed. Good prices and great people!
4 new tires they had them and put them on fast...
Me and my sister in-law went to Firestone in Bryan and Collegestation to get a/c fixed. We both spent close to $2000 and a/c still doesn’t work properly. It worked better than it did before they even touched our vehicles. Please reconsider anything other than tires and brakes. My kids are hot in my truck. Took it to them 3 times, still the same. Highly disappointed and out of pocket with a lump some. Who can fix a/c and is qualified and has good reputation on a/c in Bryan/Collegestation?
Visiting from out of town & had picked up a nail in my tire on the way here & had a slow leak. Tire was not salvageable due to location of damage, so Dave & his team took great care of me. They even put my full size spare on the rim of the damaged tire & put the new tire on the spare rim so I could have matching tires to get me back to Virginia.Awesome team, yes I had to wait a few hours but considering there were 8 people in front of me when they opened on a Sunday at 0900, it was worth it.
After making an appointment 3 days in advance for a flat repair (under road hazard warranty) we waited an hour and our suv hadn’t been pulled into a bay for service. Secret shopper experience if anyone ever comes in will get bonuses snatched from everyone! As a Bridgestone employee I’m very displeased with the service, reviews and how one of the staff members here handles things and questions when asked! Very displeased!“Solutions for your journey” today we received no solutions big or small!
I gave it a 4-star five years ago, but after going to other mechanics in the later days, I believe it deserves a zero star. I moved from NY to TX in 2016 and I asked them to do a inspection so I can renew the sticker. They charged me about $27 as I remember and said the power module ( I forgot the exact name of it, it was installed by the previous owner) does not meet the regulations of tx. I agreed to replacement them because I was new here and I did not know much about how inspections work here. Overall, it costed me about $200. But later on I found inspection costs just $7 like in quicker sticker and they do not check those power modules at all.
Good place to go. They took like 4 days to change my cars water pump and diagnosed some other problem on a different job. Just make sure you cant do the work on your own because they are expensive.
Had an appointment for 1 pm but waited for 2 hrs before service tech told me they could not adjust the caster on my jeep wrangler because it did not have adjustable upper ball joints. My wrangler has adjustable upper & lower control arms. No work had been performed and service dept did not appear competent, so I left after wasting 2 hrs.
On Dec. 9th, the manager, Mike, inspected my 2008 Ford Expedition Limited for a potential buyer and wrote a repair estimate for upgrades in wheel bearings and seals....$2200....i already had it inspected earlier and was quoted $368,....hummmm, imagine that...new engine and new transmission can be purchased for $2500...go figure!!.....then he proceeds to tell potential buyer in the future she might be looking at $7000. in repairs, thats right!! $7000. in repairs vehicle ?? NADA BOOK VALUE 11,500., ASKING $8500., on a garage kept 11 year old vehicle that even has no wear on the seats...(see pics) for vehicle that doesnt even have an engine service light on, much less any problems whatsoever, so if you want to get ripped off BY THE ULTIMATE SCAM REPAIR SHOP IN COLLEGE STATION, THEN PLEASE GO SEE MIKE, ask for him specifically,so that you know youll get the highest price estimate, and then bend over, what a joke....seriously, been in the car business for 25 years, this has to be the ultimate in fing a customer with misinformation inflated BS UNNEEDED repairs and giving auto repair business yet another black eye on scamming and ripping off customers x 10....if you have serious repairs, more than brake pads of tire rotation, please, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! GO TO A MORE REPUTABLE REPAIR FACILITY, AND SAVE 100S OR 1000S OF DOLLARS....THAT SHOULD BE A CRIMINAL OFFENSE...
I arrived upon opening to find a 45 minute wait for a state inspection although I was the only person there. Patiently waited in the lobby while I watched one of the techs take his time eating a breakfast sandwich and drinking their morning soda.Noticed another one of the techs light up a cig in the garage which seemed a little hazardous
Very unsatisfied with this place. I took it in to get an alignment and paid about $100 for the one time alignment. They proceeded to do the alignment after knowing I needed a cam bolt. They didn’t tell me until after I already got the alignment done. In order for the alignment to even do anything right to my car, I needed that bolt. I got sent home with the same issue my car had been having and and $100 less than what I had. Will be going to Aaron Automotive from now on. 😡
Dishonest. I replaced a full set of tires run flat for my BMW. I got a mail in one of the tires and they said they can’t fix it because someone put fix-a-flat in the tire. I never took my tire anywhere but this fire stone location nor did I mess with the tire myself. Gentleman gentleman said they don’t even have fix a flat on their property so my opinion that means they installed a used tire to begin with. These run flat tires are very expensive. I should’ve known they were going to game with me from the beginning because they were really rude about even patching the hole in the tire. They made me keep my car there overnight as if it was not a quick fix. Firestone has lost my business for life.
They always take care of us! My husband and I have taken his Ram 1500 many times for oil change or tire rotation and inspection. They always do great and make quick work of it. My little car as well. Customer service is always kind too!
Horrible, slow, inattentive, and did not wear their masks. The employees seemed to walk in and out at their own pleasure, after being there for over twenty minutes, not a single one of 6 employees tried helping me once. I ended up walking out and finding somewhere else.
Quoted $3400 to fix grand cherokee that seemed to have a radiator leak. Took to houston Helfman jeep and they fixed for $274!
I went to Firestone just before closing to get my tire looked at that kept losing air. The gentlemen inside the lobby were very attentive even though they were closing. They fixed my tire with no complaints about closing. Thank you Firestone, you saved my daughter and me from being stuck somewhere.
One star, because:-I had wheel alignment but steering wheel was not aligned with wheels so the mext day, I visited again at 7:30am Saturday-but it was full of schdule that they can finish it by 2pm.-So I tried to schedule on weekdays but the staff said no wheel alignment work after 2pm weekdays. If you have so much time to deal with wheel alignment and enjoy unprofessional work, I suggest this shop. (this unprofessional work makes me to visit the shop minimum 2 or 3 times with many hours to wait)
Got a flat fixed here, appreciated one of the service managers helping get me squared away with pickup even though I arrived a little after their closing hours.
Made an appointment when my car’s power steering was broken. I went in for the appointment and was told that there was no technician on staff so my car couldn’t be fixed. I didn’t receive a call or anything informing me before hand which I consider pretty rude considering how my car was borderline dangerous to drive. Definitely go to their other Firestone in Brian.
I live nearby and this is my auto shop. From my own experience, they dont overstate your car problems. If they say you should fix something, youd better fix it here.Another shop asked me to replace the CV axle, and I brought the car here for a second opinion. The mechanic here said that the replacement is not necessary. I didnt replace the axle, and it has been a few years, and nothing happened yet! They are what I call honest mechanics. Every Firestone is different from another one of course and this one is good in my opinion.
My car ricked of oil/lube but the service was good. A little pricey but it was out of town and it was the day after Christmas.
Ive always had a great experience here-- even when theyre busy, they get things checked out quickly. Theyre friendly and polite, too. Ive only ever used them for tires, but the warranty and service is great.
They are very unprofessional and they do not handle things in a timely manner. I truly wish I had just went to dealership are shopped around. I only went to them because they opened the earliest biggest mistake ever.
Mike Axtell is the greatest service advisor! He has always been accommodating and courteous! He shows concern for his customers!
Don’t go here if you need something done in a timely manner. They told me it would take 2&1/2 hours tops and they delayed it to taking over four hours.
The most dishonest tire shop... shame on this company
The employees here have been very helpful during the last couple of visits. I have had oil chances, tires replaced, and other work done. Great place to wait as shopping and restaurants are nearby. Not that I spent too much time waiting for them to finish. Wait time has been pretty short most of my visits, and they were always quick to call me before doing any work I had not cleared first. All the work on my vehicle has been satisfactory and I feel they do quality work.
Very attentive mechanics made for a stress-free visit. Its never fun dealing with auto repairs (much like the dentist in my opinion), but the guys at this store fully understood that and laid everything out for me. Most importantly, they helped me focus on which options were most economical for the age and condition of my vehicle rather than trying to nickel and dime me.
Travis and Karson really went above and beyond for me today and made sure everything was fixed and perfect, even though it meant staying after they closed. Travis even went and personally picked up a part for me after hours. I couldn’t recommend anyone more trustworthy or professional than those at Firestone in College Station. They were able to find the root of the problem and get that fixed whereas other shops were trying to charge me far more for something that wasn’t even wrong. Their prices were very fair and reasonable and they made sure I was aware of what was going on throughout the process. Couldn’t be happier with the service they provided today and I’ll definitely be coming back!
My vehicle spent over a week here so I got to know the staff pretty well! Got off to a rocky start with a staff member not following through on his word and me having to put a lot of time and effort to get daily updates....BUT when Mike got involved he whipped everything into shape so quickly, he had my car ready before I was ready to pick it up! He was amazing to work with and because of him I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! He is all about customer service and quality work!
No good service at college station location Bryan location is best, College Station firestone are rude
My son is a Jr. at A&M. His car would not start and we had it towed to this Firestone around noon Sunday. Turns out his sub-woofer was incorrectly wired through his ignition switch and blew his ignition fuse. The techs disconnected the wires and replaced the fuse. They suggested he take it to a specialty shop to have the sound system properly re-wired. For now, no sub-woofer, but he can drive his car! I think of the opportunity a less honest shop could have had, they could have told us the starter, battery, alternator, all or any of the above, needed to be replaced, but they didnt and did an honest job. And they did it all on Sunday, he drove it home that evening! Thank you Firestone for providing some comfort to a dad some hours away. This is not the first time weve had good work from this location. My other son had a bad radiator a couple years ago when he was still a student. They did an outstanding job on that too. Worked with me in letting me pay the bill with my credit card by phone when the work was done. Thanks Firestone!
The only shop around with the tire I needed in stock but I ended up paying a bit more than I wanted. Took an incredibly long time to have the new set put on.
Simply called to try and check to see if tires I ordered through a 3rd party retailer had arrived at location and were ready for installation this afternoon (as I scheduled an appointment).Man I spoke to on the phone would not let me get a word out, talked to me like I know nothing about what Im talking about, and left me feeling chastised for calling. If it wasnt too late to change where my tires were shipping, I would have them sent elsewhere. So far, I do not recommend.
The College Station Firestone always delivers amazing service! The staff there is always honest and reliable. You can depend on them to take the very best care of your vehicle. The manager has been there for a very long time - he and his crew are awesome! I highly and confidently recommend the College Station Firestone Service Center!
Manager was not professional
Needless to say, do not ever go here. i have had more than one problem with their company and their honesty. They had told me I needed a new alternator and they were going to charge me almost 1,000$ (yes, i know and I am not exaggerating). It turns out that it was just a battery, which by the way Oreillys told me. Truck has been running fine ever sense. I recommend go somewhere else for any type of car trouble.
My daughter is at A&M and was having her oil changed when a MAJOR issue was found in the car. I talked to the owner who was very upfront and described all they found. I am out of town so I couldnt really confirm what he was saying but had to trust him. He said they could take care of it and they would get started right away. As they dug into the issue more it became apparent to them that there was major engine damage and Ford should take over. They had the car towed to Ford who ultimately replaced the engine. This was due to a recall issue and the engine actually started on fire when tested. Had they not found the issue it would have started on fire on the road with my daughter.I was down there a few weeks later and stopped in to pay the bill for all they did. He only charged me for the oil change and said not to worry about the rest since they couldnt fix it. I know they spent over 6 hours under the hood working on it and actually replaced several parts in trying to fix it.I have found this to me a very honest and reputable business. They could have easily taken advantage of my daughter but instead actually looked out for her. As a father that goes a long way. All my interactions with the owner were straightforward and direct with no excuses or double talk. I would recommend this business to anyone. They may not be the fastest but they are the honest and trustworthy. To me that is more important then anything else.
Great service, they finished my vehicle ahead of the estimated time. Friendly staff with a neat and maintained waiting area.
Honest shop. I have had work done here in the past, this time they were unable to diagnosis the problem and I had to go elsewhere. Rather than just replacing parts, they admitted they could not find an issue and recommended someone who could solve the issue. Will be using again, although hopefully not too soon.......
I dropped my car off before 9am this morning just to get a tire patched that had a nail in it. I was told it would be an hour and a half. At noon I called and nothing had been done still. They said it would be worked on next. At 2pm I ended up having to pick up the car because I needed to get to work. The car was exactly where I had left it and still had a nail in the tire 5 hours later.
I had heard raving reviews about this place, so when my key started getting stuck in the ignition several times a week, I brought it here. The first repair that was done cost me nearly $250. I drove it home and hoped that everything was fixed. After about a week, the problem started up again and this time it was happening more frequently than before. I brought it in to the same shop a second time. Another repair was done for another $250. After that, I drove the car for about a month with no issue, but then after that month the problem started happening yet again. I called and spoke to the manager and told him my concerns with paying twice for the same problem, without a positive result. He said he wanted to make things right. He asked me to bring it in one more time and give them another chance. I brought the car in again and left it with them for three days. When three days had passed and I did not hear from them, I called the shop to check in. They told me that since they have had my car, the key was going in and out of the ignition just fine and that there was no problem they could detect. I came and picked up the car for the third time and took it home. I continued driving it like normal and the very next day, guess what? The key got stuck in the ignition! I have become very frustrated by the fact that I have taken my car in three different times and paid $500 for a problem that has not been fixed. If youre thinking about taking your car here, I would suggest doing your research on what you think the problem might be first. Or get a second opinion from another shop.
We will only use Firestone for our auto repairs. The store manager, Mike, goes out of his way to make us feel welcomed and personifies professionalism and care for each customer. We need major work done on the car on Saturday and Mike, along with David, made us feel that we were the only customers they were serving. I recommend this location to all friends and family and consider it an honor to be able to patronize them.
After talking with 4 other automotive shops about my daughters car and feeling as if my call was bothering them ALL, I called Firestone and spoke with Travis and felt the complete opposite. He listened and asked specific questions about what her car was doing. I was relieved after talking to him. We were in town to move her the next day and took her car in that afternoon. They ran a diagnostic, called us in a couple hours, told us what it was, how much it would cost..about $300 less than we expected, and that they would have it ready the next day and it was. And my daughter says her car is running great.Being 2 hrs away and not being able to help her with things like this is difficult but my husband and I now have one less thing to worry about. Thank you for all of your help Travis.
My college student took her car to this Firestone with a check engine light. They read the code, determined a relay was bad, removed and replaced. I thought $244 ($49 part/ $179 labor + tax) was a bit high for this. Then after only one month the check engine light code recurs. I checked the relay. It was bad. Then I checked the original relay. It was good!Firestone would only refund the cost of the bad part. The manager, Mike, was argumentative. I am perplexed. Hardly deserves the one star I had to give.
I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment done on my truck. I called late Monday evening and Mike was able to fit me in first thing on Tuesday morning. With no appointment, I dropped it off at 7 and the work was done by 1pm. They added good quality oil with the proper amounts, and the truck drives straight. Mike did not try to sell me on services I didnt need and gave me a report on maintenance that may need to be done in the future. Good experience.
Always busy. Dropped my car off on a Saturday and it was ready after noon on Sunday. It can be understandable that it would take time to finish the job but I felt maybe my expectations for how long it should have taken were maybe a little to high.
Very impressed with the technicians work and with overall service. The car is running like it is brand new. I will be returning and recommending to family and friends!
Rude manager wouldnt help me my tire was leaking air just took my keys and said i cant help you itll ve hours before i get to you also started arguing with another lady and was very rude i will never go back!
Dont go here. Went here while I was in school (not long ago at all) and they tried pulling a few scams. One was that they drained my oil (was not there for oil changd). Knew as soon as I got home and checked. I know it was drained because I had checked before I left to make sure I didnt need to pick any up while I was out. They also tried to pull the I cannot let you leave with this car, it is too dangerous. If they tell you this, tell them to out it in writing because they wont. Or call the cops, they cannot keep your car. I just told them to give me the keys. Do not listen to this BS.Firestone is a SCAM. Do not recommend.
Everyone was very nice. There was a small delay on oil filter as I drive a pretty unusual car but all ended well and they were very apologetic for the delay. Will definitely be coming back!
Updating my review. I went in today and gave them another shot and they were very professional and courteous and got me up and running again quickly.
This place is either incompetent or they do not care about efficiency. It took 6 hours for them to complete a brake inspection and replace 2 break pads. Multiple times i was told its almost done yet hour after hour i would look in the bay and no one was even working on my vehicle. The vehicle was in the bay for atleast 4 hours as I sat and watched no progression. Finally the store manager made something happen and my vehicle was released. I will never use Firestone again! This place should be closed down or restaffed completely!!! I really hope the quality of work is better than the quality of service. Theres a level of trepidation after having watch the personnel under perform, if you could even call it performing.
Travis was great, I got a flat unexpectedly and was able to get me in the same day within a hour of me driving in. Such a life saver!
My girlfriend was charged $110/hr for labor to replace one control arm. The repair also took nearly an hour longer than the labor book said it should. The whole time she was told she was getting a good deal because they gave a discount on the alignment and a $30 discount on the overall repair. They also charged $22 for shop supplies and when I asked what the charge was for, the guy had absolutely no idea what it was. He asked someone and was told it was for things like rags the guys in the shop used. Having to pay $22 for towels to wipe their hands on is absolutely ridiculous.
Terrible service. I had an appointment for an alignment check. I waited 3 hours at the shop and they never got around to working on my vehicle. I came in a second time for the alignment check and was told there would be an hour wait. After 2.5 hours, my vehicle hadnt moved. Took over 6 hours and two days for a simple alignment check. Worse, the staff is not forth coming about wait times. Would not recommend
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Just came to replace a brake light, but the man helping me courtesy checked a couple of other things I had been noticing too. Will be coming here for all future car issues!
Firestone is most definitely a complete Auto Mobile Specialist and a good one,by my experience.
Very disappointed in Firestone. They made up an excuse, saying they could not fix my tire because it was too worn out, and insisted on me buying a new one. The next day I went to another tire shop and they patched up my tire within five minutes, including removing a very big nail that Firestone had refused to extract in the first place. I believe they also tried to trick me because I am a college student and have little experience in these sorts of things. Find yourself a more honest mechanic shop.
About two years ago I took my 2002 Eclipse into Firestone for a check engine light. This car was already worn and having issues, one of which was a constant but low vibration while the car would run. After fixing my check engine light, I received my car back from Firestone. Thereafter, half of the time I hit the brakes for my car it would completely stop running and just shut off. The night I got my car back - after Firestone had already closed - I was braking to slow down at a red light when my car shut off but continued to move forward. I almost got into a head-on collision. The next day Firestone immediately took my car back and began working on the issue. They charged me close to another $1000 claiming that this sudden shutdown was from an already present issue exhibited by the vibrations of my car. I knew this was bull, because I had this car already for four years and the vibrations had never caused any issues. On top of that, when I received my car again, while the braking issue was resolved the vibrations were still present. I had those vibrations fixed a few months later with another car repair shop that replaced my cars CV axle. So yes, Firestone will rip you off, damage your vehicle and make you pay for it, and take advantage of people who are not car-repair savvy. Please, please dont go here. Research other repair shops in the area with better reputations because chances are if they seem a little more expensive initially, its still worth it.
Have been here at least 3 times since I moved to College Station, always a great experience. Friendly and helpful staff, great prices, and you can leave your car for as long as you need.
The guys at Firestone are always so helpful! I have taken my car here many times and have always received excellent care and friendly service. As long as I live in College Station, I will always take my 4Runner here! Thanks guys for all of your hard work!Alisha A.
Tell you on the phone I will only be 45min. 2 hours later still trying to get an alinement. For the second time in 3 weeks because that messed it up the first time. And now I need front tires. Find another place to go. I have been to both bcs locations. Both are beyond slow. And cant seem to do the work you are over paying them for.
Ive been going to this Firestone for the last 10 years the service is great the staff is good to technicians are awesome they do quality work and they make sure that you leave happy I couldnt ask for a better set of mechanics thank you guys for all your work.
They got me in for my inspection right before closing. Great staff
Professional staff who do good work and dont try to upsell anything. Ive been here twice with tire issues and have been very pleased with my experiences. Even if you dont have an appointment, if you show up first thing theyll be sure to fit you in.
Very friendly, professional and quick
I took my car multiple times because I had a grinding noise in the engine. They told me the 3 times I took it that it was 3 different things with repair bills that were up to $1400. I decided to take it to the Douglass Nissan dealership since my car was a Nissan and they told me that the transmission just needed to be filled up, something that Firestone told me I did not need. After a transmission flush from Nissan, grinding noise stopped and car was fine.
Heard about this location several years ago and since trying them out, been very pleased with their service and prices. Better than some local supposedly discount tire places. Actually I had heard about them because of their reputation for front end alignments and guaranteeing their work. Now I bring all my vehicles here for everything. And now they have a Keurig coffee maker in the waiting room! And free WiFi. Sweet
These people will never steer you wrong. They tell you the truth and show you the problem. Even if it cost more money to fix, their work is spot on. As a self mechanic, I still trust them and take my car to them when I need it to be. Problem will always be fixed and never will you have that problem again.
Got scammed. Plain and simple. After turning down an offer for an unneeded repair of 550, I asked how much it would be to get my front rotors resurfaced and was told 35. Two and a half hours later, I was asked to pay 75 dollars. Upon questioning this, the only response was, oh well its 35 dollars per rotor and theres two of them on the front. Well I knew that there were two of them. Who tells someone the partial price? thankfully it wasnt too much money, but disappointed with the dishonesty
3rd time I showed up only to be told sorry, maybe tomorrow or told it be a 2 HR wait. I called at 10 am to make appt., they wouldnt let me and told me to just call when in town. At 5 PM I did and was on my way. They said 1 HR wait. OK. Upon arrival however, they said 2 HR wait. The employee was a brunette lady with glasses. This is bad service.
Appointments mean nothing. I made an appointment online for 7, it was confirmed by them, and when I showed up no one was there by 7:15.
I called because my car wouldnt start. I was told there would first be an electric diagnostic that would cost about $75. Then if the problem wasnt found, an engine/fuel diagnostic that would cost more. The problem was my distributor(electric) and they charged me $150 just to get my keys back. They wanted over $700 to replace it. The distributor costs $120 and took 5 minutes to replace. When I spoke with the guy at the desk when I came to get my keys, I explained that I was told an electric diagnostic would be done first to find the problem, and I didnt want to pay for the full engine/fuel diagnostic. He acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. I wont be going here again.
DO NOT GO HERE! I went because of a grinding noise I was experiencing and was told I needed 2 new rotors and brake pads (costing me about $340), I did it anyways because I wanted it fixed. 2 days later, I HEAR THE NOISE AGAIN, ITS BACK. While there I was told I needed some more work done but nothing that would affect me for the next 6-8 months. After my car started making noise again I call and instead of them offering to take a look at it and possibly fix it, he tries to upsell me another service (that was gonna run me another $400) saying I needed it ASAP when just two days prior he said it wasnt that serious. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.Please just go somewhere else. They will take advantage of you, especially someone like myself, a college student who came in with no idea as to what was wrong. Sure, the staff was nice and ensured me everything was going to be alright but it was all a show. I basically just paid $340 for absolutely nothing (even the brake job that I got done still sounds a bit squeaky) I AM NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN.
The guys were pretty cool and easy to work with. So i took my car in and was like hey its shaking really bad. The guy was like let me go look at it, and he felt around the tires and stuck his whole hand. And felt around the tires. They gave me a deal they were like we can check it out for 10 bucks and let you know what is up, and they did and man they are life savers, my wheel couldve popped off because the wheel bearing was so bad as soon as they took it off it fell apart. I was told it would take three hours (by 6PM) they called me at 4 saying it was ready. When i paid for it they guy told me this is what we did that was a major saftey issue, Theres these things that we had told you about that it also needs, and they gave me a list of services my car needs, and also stated to get 3 of them together so i can do my alignment on the car. Great service never had any issues with firestone!
Duravis tires are awesome but wait they dont make them anymore?!?!
Great service but had to wait 4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation Sunday
Brought a car in for routine oil change and tire rotation. Super easy stuff.Im always weary of dishonest people in chain garages like this so before leaving the keys, i removed one of the stem caps on a rim. After getting the phone call to say the work was finished, i inspected the rims to find the one missing the stem cap to be in the same location. Basically they tried to charge me $20 for a tire rotation that never actually got done.Needless to say, i wont be returning. If they cant be trusted with something as simple as a tire rotation, i wouldnt trust them with anything else on my vehicle.
Very disappointed! Pricey and dishonest service. For a liscence plate light ($5) they charged about $50. Dont go there otherwise you will be overcharged.
There two locations in BCS and this location is the better, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I had a bad experience with firestone on my last oil changeThey forgot to put the gascade on my filter the oil was leaking and I was having a trip on highway and I smells the burns and pull out to the side of the HWYI was almost on a crush for their mistake
We needed to have our brakes checked, so I made an appointment to save time, and was told that it would be take about 30 minutes. Our schedule was tight, but the timing of the appointment worked great. When my wife arrived, she was told that they would not even look at the vehicle for 30-40 minutes, at which point she would already be close to needing to leave. An appointment is for a reserved time slot, but they dont seem to understand the point of an appointment.Poor communication, poor service, plenty of excuses. No attempt to reconcile. Go somewhere else.
The Firestone in College Station is the best. Mike the manager knows what he is doing. The have taken care of all my needs the past 20 years.
Dont go here! So the air conditioning in my truck stopped being cold so I took it in to find out the problem. I made an appointment for 9am and dropped it off at 8:30. They said they would call me when they figured out the problem. I called at 11am and was told that they had it on the hook and were still trying to identify the problem. Legitimate response not a problem. Then I called again at 1pm and was put on hold and had someone else pick up and ask me how they could help me. I explained that another man was already going to look at it and he put me on hold then came back and told that there was a mix up and that my truck was next to be seen. I got mad and told them then someone lied to me because I called 2 hours ago and was told it was on the hook being looked at and his response was I understand your frustration and do apologize I told them to call me before they did anything I would have to pay for. He agreed. I had still not been called by 4pm so I drove up there and called them in the parking lot because my truck was sitting outside. And they told me they had looked at it and it was just a freeion leak and they ran some tests and that they would run some more and brought my truck back inside. I had no ride to get back up there at that time so I had to sit inside Firestone. After another hour of looking at my truck and watching them do almost nothing to it I got up and asked how much longer. Then they told me there was a condenser and and clutch that needed to be replaced. Then they rung me up and because I was mad and made it known they did not charge me for anything. They told me its gonna cost $1,401.58 to fix and they would have to order the part. According to them one of the parts alone was 600. Looking online I found that same part for under 200. Thats really messed up Im my opinion. Adding up everything including 300 hunder for labor the total cost should have only been about 600. So I will never be going there again. And I dont recommend anyone else to either.
This place is a joke. Dont come here for any engine problems
My son took his car in for inspection. They broke his steering column and charged 120 to evaluate, and put a new column on order. I demanded the keys back and drove it back to Dallas. Took me less than 10 min to remove the plastic cover and put the pins back in.Think the just like ripping off people who dont know any better.
Unprofessional service and dishonest advice. They did not take responsibility for their mistakes and unnecessarily asked me to change the parts even when my car dealer didn’t recommend to do so.
Slower than other Firestone centers, my truck reeked when I got into it. Damage my center caps, and lost my wheel lock
Only place I go for my car, they take great care of us
Tried to have a brake fluid flush& exchange service at that place. They gave me a quote for $140. Then I told them the BMW dealer only charges for 99. Then somehow the staff managed to find a mistake in his quote and charged for $83. I double checked with him and told him to flush the system when changing fluid. He said whether I like to or not that’s the service they got. I still paid but I kinda regret doing that right now. Shoulda just go to autozone, get a $10 bottle and do it myself.
My husband bright his truck here to get a life time front end alignment done on his new truck. He got tjere, waited 4 HOURS. Watched his truck stay in the parking lot for the most part, then seen someone get in his truck and drive it to the back of the parking lot. When he walked back into Firestone some one came to him and said they couldnt do the alignment because the truck needed new ball joints and a few other things and the guy said they could do all the work for $1400. My husband said no and they charged him $22!!!!!! My husband then took his truck to 2 mechanics who both told him NOTHING was wrong with the truck and everywhere Firestone listed was a lie .Came on here and looked at their reviews and talked to a few other people and the same thing happened. Seems to be a common thing for Firestone. Dont take your vehicles here if you want honest work done
Great location. Clean environment. Great employees.
So im sitting around waiting for removal of air from my brake line since 11:00 and its 5:30. And come to find out i need new caps on my brake drum. Which the clerk Finds so frustrating that he tried to fight the other clerk in front of me and two other customers cause He wants to go home literally trying to fight smh
I have never been disappointed by the staff crew.
Did not have my tire for 2013 Ford fusion. In audifi like all the Ford fusions that be driving around you would think that they would have that tire in stock
Went in for state inspection they tried to charge me 1200$ to pass. Said no and went somewhere else and passed no problem. Don’t go here!! They will try and pull a fast one on you and overcharged you!!!
