2 stars is nice enough. I went in this morning. Things all over the floor in the binder/folder area. The lady who checked us out (JoAnne) was rude. The little girl in front of us wanted to buy her own candy but couldn’t count her change. She sat it on the counter and needed the lady to help. She sighed in front of the little girl like she didn’t have the time or patience for it. No one else was in line except me and I had 2 things.also I I didn’t realize my items were on sale and all I had was $100 bill. She acted like walking the 10 feet she did to check the bill was hard labor. She had no excitement or happiness in her voice when greeting people. If you don’t want to deal with customers especially kids at a office/school supply store don’t do customer service.

Staples gives the option to order address labels for same day pickup. I placed my order, thankful to have them before leaving the country in order to send my wedding invites, and I arrive at the stated pick up time, only to be told they didn’t have labels and wouldn’t until Wednesday. By Wednesday, I am out of the country. If a company cannot fulfill an order by promised time, they owe you more than a cancellation. Ruined my entire schedule. Will not be using this dying store again.

I came in just to buy payer for my home printer, but the cashier was extremely helpful! He suggested I sign up for the rewards program based on my purchase of paper. He says, it looked like I would use a lot of printer ink and told me about their recycling program. I can bring up to 10 used ink cartridges per month for recycling and get two dollars credit for my next purchase. Not only that but they price match with Amazon. Staples just got my business! Thank you!

The man at the counter at the printing area didnt seen to enthusiastic to help me. There was a lady there too behind the counter doing something else. Instead of stopping to help me. I spent almost an hour to simply get a copy from my email and to scan my documents.

I started my day with a UPS return package. UPS had sent me a label with three options to access the label 1) Print the label from home, 2) email a digital copy (turned out to not be a digital copy but rather a repeat of the original email), and 3) A code to take to the UPS Store and have them ship my package. I usually come to this Staples for printing and teaching supplies because it is on my morning route. I stopped by to ship my package and the woman working politely explained that the code method would not work at this location but I could save the label as a PDF and print the label there in the store. The UPS site would not upload the label however. Rather than sit around fiddling with the website I decided to go to the nearest UPS Store in Beltsville. There they were not helpful, could not fathom how the code worked, would not help me print my label in their store despite having printing capabilities. So I went to the local library, accessed my email, printed my label and returned to Staples because I was so irate at the UPS Store I refused to set foot in there again. I walked into Staples and the woman from this morning was there still and remembered me. She asked if I had gotten my label yet. I was so touched that she remembered me and was genuinely wanting to help me mail my package. I explained to her my experience at the UPS Store and she was perplexed. She said she had seen that code before and that the UPS Store should have handled it, it just doesnt work with their system. I was so thankful and she apologized for my experience at the UPS Store, which was just the sweetest. I will return frequently to this Staples for any UPS shipping and office needs. Thank you guys so much for turning my day around.

I went there to buy notebooks and did not see any 3 subject but only 1 and 5 subject. When I told the cashier that there is no 3 subject notebooks on shelf, she told me they are where all the notebooks are. I looked at shelf and it had label of 3 subject but place was stocked with 1 subject notebooks. I went to target and got my notebook from there. Try to find another staples or other alternative store but not this one.

I place order for 4 copies of. (18 x24 ) poster. I went to pick it up 5days later and it wasnt ready, Amber at the copy center told me its NOT A PROBLEM THINGS. HAPPEN, this was Ambers way of apologizing for her DeficiencyWhen I ask how long to have this printed, she said 10mins,, when I told her 10mins is a PROBLEM . I cant wait, she look at me before I could finish my comment, said * do you want to wait or come another time with High tone and attitude, as I turn around to look for the Manager on duty. Mr Bryant, Amaber said have a good day. Even the Manager have. No Clue on how to handle the situation. I just Spend $2001.54 in this Location just a week Ago, and SAD to have an Employee like Amber working customer service. I WILL NOT RETURN TO. THIS. LOCATION. ( COLLEGE PARK ) EVER AGAIN.

The employees I encountered were exceptionally helpful. Unfortunately they were out of stock on the item I needed. Even there nearby stores did not have it in stock so I had to go to a competitor where the item was$10 cheaper.

If you dont like an employee asking if you need help finding something and laughing at you when you say you do, maybe dont shop here. Secondary complaint, Ive noticed their computers must be incredibly old because it took probably 2 minutes for their register system to read my card and process a small transaction.

This was a strange experience today. Normally, I get my back to school supplies here. Today was strange. We bought the supplies, got in the longest line ever. When we get to the window, the clerk tells us hes closed then calls a white customer to his line. My daughter and I were beyond shocked. Im still at a lost of words as to what happened.

I am a frequent visitor of this location, and I cannot begin to describe how disappoint I am in the service I have received at this location. During my previous visits I noticed the lack of support shown by the managers in the copy center. The lines are ALWAYS long, the wait is ALWAYS long. When the associates asked the manager and assistant manager for help they BOTH walked to the back and held conversations that had nothing to do with anything work related, laughing joking and more. The managers are unprofessional and it is irritating when you are spending your hard earned money

The self serve printers dont work. The workers stand around and dont help each other they just let the line build up. While they stand around and talk to each other. This place is a big joke. Im very frustrated that I had to stand in line for 45 minutes so I can have a paper printed out.

Store Manager Kia is AWESOME!!I had a problem filling out the rebate of $20 online after buying $400 Visa Gift Cards in Staples according to the Ads, so I visited the College Park Store located in 8904 62nd Ave, College Park, MD 20740 yesterday.The store manager Kia was so nice to help me resolve the issue and contacted the rebate department directly and get my rebate submitted and approved right away. The call last 45 mins..... and she was so kind to help in between tons of things before the store is closed at 9pm....And later she found that I actually bought the gift cards in another Staples store.... not her store. She still help with GREAT smiles on her face!!!Highly recommended!!!Kia, just like the Auto brand, KIA!Thumbs up!!

Worst store ever.!!! Stood on line for copies for 18mins, 2 people in front in me ....waiting patientlyThe person working that area Mark moved as if he was the only person there🤔.This guy has NO customer service skills at all. As a customer you would at least like to be acknowledged considering the wait. This guy was extremely slow, dry and very obtuse. When he finally got to me, shared he had to make the copies (down due to Staples in some type of dispute w/vendors ) and I needed to have all staples out, and prepped for him to copy? Simething that could have been shared, while standing and waiting🤔... I looked at him, and thought you have got to be kidding. Now frustrated, I left the store shaking my head. And would not recommend anyone needing service go there, unless you have allot of time you need to waste🖓🖓🖓.

Save yourself the frustration and headache. The printing staff appear to have trained for this job as though it is a hobby and not an actual job. Customer service are not the words to describe an experience with the staff. The printing staff are interacting with the public like stereotypes from a low budget movie. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I purchased a kindle HD from here. After almost a week I decided to exchange for the nexus 7. I looked at the staples website and saw that the nexus 7 32GB was in stock for pretty much all of the stores in my area. I called this location to make sure the item was actually in stock. I was placed on hold and the sales person told me they did have them in stock and that they had just got a shipment in that same morning and had quite a few. I hung up with her. I then called back 10 mins later and the same person answered, I just wanted to mention that I would be returning the kindle to make sure there wouldnt be any problems. I also mentioned the nexus to her again and she explained that she had acutally saw them and ensured me that if I came around 3 pm that day I should be able to get one. I was looking a little further on the staples website and noticed that I could reserve the nexus and so I did. I also reserved it at another location (Largo) insticts told me so. I received confirmation from both locations of my reserved item. But to my surprise when I got to the greenbelt location I was told by the manager that they did not have any in stock and that the nexus that I reserved was defective??? He explained that the website has no real connection with the merchandise in the store to recongnize if an item is defective or not. It just sees that there is one in the store. I mentioned that I had spoken with someone earlier that day and they told me that they received a shipment in. I was told by the manager that they had not received any shipments in and that it was around the holidays so the item is pretty much sold out everywhere. I couldnt believe that I was just told a lie earlier that day. I asked the manager to look up the Largo location to see if they had any (which would include my reserved item) He told me that he only saw in their system that there were 2 at the Largo location, 1 was the display and the other was defective also, huh??? He then said the closest staples that had the item would be Arundel Mills and he called to confirm they had the item. So I was on my way to Arundel Mills and had an urge to call the Largo store. Lo and behold the manager of that store told me that they in fact had my reserved item and that it was indeed not defective. Needless to say I will never shop at this location again.
