Great work, great service, and great communication, these people answer all questions you have, they treat you as a customer and no question is too much to explain compared to other machine shops this is the only one with rags to lay your cylinder heads down on. other shops make you place it on a metal table where it gets scratched around on. highly recommend, also very good pricing.

Dropped off a 2008 Kia Rio cylinder head for a valve job (head was warped due to overheating). Had the machined head back within a few days. Put the engine back together and the vehicle runs beautifully. I would recommend Dover for cylinder head work. Brad and his boys will hook you up!

Ive never written a review but the service I got here a couple years ago forces me to do so. They sorted out my vintage aluminum heads for my flathead Ford with ease. They fixed the stripped spark plug holes (and recommended steel inserts) by welding and re-tapping. They heated my heads and flattened them before fly cutting them so that they wouldnt remove too much material. They were very nice to me, just a guy off the street. They showed me their operation and answered all my questions.Many thanks for the great experience.

I needed a rebuilt head for my sons Mazda. I purchased the head, gaskets, and bolts from Jesse. Everything went well until I was driving back from getting oil changed and the car died. For some reason, the exhaust cam shaft snapped. I called Jesse, explained the problem, and being the awesome gentleman he is, fixed the head, and gave me a new set of gaskets and bolts. He said the cam may have been cracked when it came into the shop... Anyway, I was greatly appreciative of Jesse and Dover... First class, reputable business... These guys know what they are doing. I have used their services 3 times when replacing a head gasket, and whether it was a core swap or a machined head - each time they gave great advice on the particulars of my current project. I wouldnt think of doing business elsewhere.On a side note, I called to get a quote and was given a price that was great. Upon going to pick up my item, it was discovered I was given the wrong price due to my engine having 2 different heads - in my situation, they honored the original quote even though it was about $100 off from the actual price. Cant say they do this all the time - but it meant a lot to me knowing that I didnt feel like I was being bait-n-switched.
